Went to the belmore pub in sale with my wife on Sunday afternoon for a drink between 4pm — 6pm on 3rd July 2022. The two girls serving behind the bar where really rude with an attitude and made me feel very uncomfortable. They did not have the decency to say please or thankyou when serving me a drink at the bar. The pub is lovely shame about horrible bar staff experience.

Great wedding venue, food lovely and staff very attentive, attractive bar area x.

I am dairy intolerant and the chef came to the table to reassure me that I could eat my meal in confidence by explaining what was going to be in the food he was preparing. Really nice of him as I usually have to disect my plate before I eat anything. They also had oat milk for my brew and a vegan icecream option.

We had the pleasure of staying at eating here before and after my wedding, I have to say the best customer service from check in to check out all the staff were amazing, shout out to Dave you really made our stay great it really is the little thing that make the difference, breakfast was fab big portions and the steak for tea was delicious.

This pub is 💯 amazing took a party of 12 for my mums 70th the food came piping hot was amazing to say the least staff are so friendly and welcoming the manger came over to introduce himself we felt like family the inside is so classy clean and modern I’m so glad we picked here thanks so much.

Had my Nanas funeral wake here in October then my Grandads today and the staff were fantastic, so friendly and helpful. The buffet was great and so much to go round. Thanks guys will be back in soon for Lunch. Highly recommend.

Thank you to Jordan and Ben for wonderful service and the chef for the food yesterday for my mum's 80th birthday. We could not fault anything.

We had a 'sharing platter' Sunday lunch today and it was fabulous. All the food was piping hot, tasty and there was loads of it. Shared between two people it was a great way eating a variety of meats, veg and unlimited gravy.

Delicious light lunch, beautiful surroundings. Great service Mo, Sam & Vicky. 100% recommend 👌

The service was very good as there seemed to be enough serving staff but they kept coming to our table with other people's food orders.
The choice and quality of the ales was very good with an MPA and an IPA.
Our waitress apologised as there were so many items on the menu not available including all the steaks and lamb dishes. That was very disappointing but no explanation was forthcoming. I'm sure they could have gone to any of the local supermarkets to purchase some meat.
Around 9.30pm they called last orders to my surprise! It was clear they wanted us to leave even though we were dining with residents of the hotel. The food we were able to order was very good quality and there was enough of it.
Next time I book a table, I will check that everything is on the menu before I sit down.

Had a great night at The Belmore yesterday. Managed to keep hold of our table as no one needed it after us. All the staff seemed really happy to be open again and nothing was too much trouble. They were really helpful in accommodating my mum who has health issues 😊 Will definitely be booking a table again.

Oh, the food, the service, the ambience and the staff. For a pub restaurant it just couldn't be bettered. The restaurant manager, Mahmod, was fantastic. Always around checking everything was tickety boo. Lovely guy and ultra efficient. We will definitely be back.

Just got married there. The whole thing was an absolute gem. Lead upto and the day it self. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially Simon, mamood (on the day, nothing was to much trouble for them) and Sarah helping with arrangements10/10

Friendly place relaxed atmosphere freshly cooked food, and staff very friendly visit at least twice a month, long may it continue.

I’m vegetarian and didn’t fancy the vegetarian main course and the chef was super accommodating and knocked up a really tasty spring vegetable risotto with a poached egg on top in no time at all. The puddings were lovely too. Will definitely go again.

Stayed overnight, whilst all staff were pleasant enough having to wait 35 minutes for breakfast is unacceptable. The room which looked lovely with the furnishings did need some TLC with paint flaking off and stains on carpets. I think £125 is overpriced.

The decor is enough to make to never want to leave, so considering the unbelievably delicious menu and exceptional service from all staff, The Belmore has become a firm favourite of mine. Highly recommended!

I only visited one of the bar's for a wake but the food provided for this was very nice and nicely presented. The service was also good.

I liked this place before it was done up and I like it even more since it's been refurbished it's beautiful inside! lovely outdoor seating area. Only reason I haven't rated 5 stars is because I think the menu is quiet pricey given the location, sale centre is not too far with much more competitive prices. But its defiantly worth visiting.

Only one thing to report. Bath/Shower had mildew and we fealt we could not use it. Room was good, staff excellent and a good Cheshire breakfast.

Did have GF on menu but when asked there were plenty of options. Food was excellent. Staff were exceptional helpful. Overall enjoyable experience. Def hi o again. Thank you.

Had a lovely lunch at the Belmore! It has been refurbished recently and looks fab! The staff were pleasant and eager to please. The food was presented well and reasonably priced. Although we haven't been in the evening. Our friends have highly recommended it. The outdoor beer garden is very up market and cosy!

We had our wedding at the Belmore yesterday and what an amazing day it was, the venue the weather, and the food was perfect but what made it even better was all the staff they are all fantastic people nothing was too much trouble but have to make a special thank you to Mahmood this man didn't stop from morning till early hours the next day making sure our day went without a hitch, amazing venue amazing staff. Thankyou again from Mr and Mrs Hill xxx.

It's a fabulous place staff can't do enough to make us feel welcome food was gorgeous. Very relaxing and chilled out place. Well worth a visit. Child friendly as well. Well done all staff at the Belmore. Will definitely be back xxxx.

Really nice upgrade to hotel and restaurant. Good food. Fair prices. Service excellent.

Good location and nice interior. Has a decent sized beer garden so nice for sitting out in summer. Just been extended so there is now more room inside.

Friends had strongly recommended it but I was left a little underwhelmed. The food was alright but not that exciting. The carrots were overdone and cool. The shared deli platter was good though the pigs in blankets were small olive-sized bits of crunchy sausage and no sign of any bacon. The other things were better. We weren't paying so I can't comment on value for money. I'm not sure that the quality of the food or the cooking of it matched the menu prices.

The food is very good, atmosphere very pleasant. Our young waitress who sorry I didn't get her name was most attentive, lovely and pleasant personality, a little gem.

We have just had a birthday meal at the Belmore tonight. And we all agreed how amazing the food was. Not only was the food amazing but the service from the staff was outstanding. They were so welcoming and went out of they’re way to every way that they could. Even little things like a glass of champagne for our birthday. Will definitely be returning and recommending this restaurant to others. Thank you.

My local,,, it's class! Food's top notch 5star standard,, good well kept beer and the service is second to none in the area and wider a field. It has Just been renovated and looks amazing. Needs cover with heating outside still. Really nice place.

Recently refurbished and extended its really modern and light inside. Good wholesome food at very reasonable prices.

We didn't book but a table was available. We were seated straight away by Sue who was extremely friendly and professional. All the staff were great and the food was lovely and a great price. Will definitely be returning.

Love the refurbishment however missing key foods on the menu sadly again. Was rushed to leave the table of 11 then found out they only needed the smaller table. Pinched our chairs then found some in another table. Totally unnecessary. Some staff really lovely and helpful. Eat again. Unsure. Some food good some too little. However if you could get a table a good venue to meet friends to have a drink.

Have to say really disappointed tonight, thought would be a lovely build up to the Christmas holiday and decided on the Belmore as living close by. Wish we had walked to go elsewhere. The menu for vegetarians is limited and has not changed much since refurbishment, sadly went for a risotto dish with a poached egg on top and a starter portion arrived. It was cold with no taste and only half of the poached egg present, the waitress went off to reheat in a microwave and sometime later return with the terrible dish and sorry to say it looked awful. I have been several times to a JW Lees in Didsbury, the food is delicious and nutritional. They have also thrown away microwaves and all is made from fresh. Come on Belmore please improve include vegetables, sweet potatoes with dishes. Throw away the cheese and onion pie, maybe the chefs should go to the vegetarian society for a course. Also your vegan options are poor too. A great shame a front of house is excellent!

Went there for some birthday drinks in the bar. Very pleasant. Not particularly crowded. Recently been refurbished and does look nice. It does serve food, friends say is was OK rather than anything special.

Very recently refurbished to a very high level in the bar area. Brand new extension housing a fantastic new restaurant. I was attending the regular quiz night every Monday which currently is played in the function room. Coffee, tea and alcohol are all available from the bar. The quiz is fantastic fun with quizmaster Allison and non regulars are always welcome and made welcome.

Superb! Great food, great drink, great setting… All the ingredients for a top night out! The staff were attentive without being intrusive, I would highly recommend the signature beef… Mouth-Wateringly Tender.

Went here with the family today (the restaurant) for the first time since the recent renovation. The 3 course lunch was absolutely divine. Mushroom soup with olive oil (looked like) drizzled over it — delicious. Fish and chips — the fish was without doubt the nicest I've ever eaten. The batter was out of this world, it quite literally melted in my mouth. Fudge cake to finish which was equally nice. Excellent service from the lady who kindly offered to take a photo for us — thank you. Really nice atmosphere. 5

Very busy at the time of our visit, about 1.30pm on a Thursday. But got a small table in the bar area. Table was wet and sticky and we ended up wiping it ourselves… we just had a couple of starters, I had soup and my friend had Seared Scallops Black pudding/bacon… both portions were very small, but very tasty. Soft drinks with our meal and coffee to finish. Total cost £22, not bad. The new decor is lovely, would recommend booking…

Went in on Monday and had dinner there with a few friends. Really great food. Can't praise it enough. The pate was served with loads of salad and fresh toast. Salmon, prawn and advocado, again, loads of salad, lots of it, and lovely and fresh. Would never had chosen this place for food but what an unexpected surprise. Restaurant quality at pub prices. Definately a regular treat now.

Went in for the quiz on Monday night for a bite to eat and some real good fun. This is a great place to eat, reasonably priced with a good selection of dishes. Food is amazing, dishes are really generous. There is also alfresco dining available in the warmer months. They even went the extra mile and provided me with my own personal fan as it was rather warm inside. It's the little things that make the biggest difference, thank you to Ben who provided the fan. I will be seeing you again.

Monday night, Quiz night. We came 2nd which made a change. Brilliant time. Food lovely. Huge portions, restaurant quality. Can't wait for next week. Come early, for a good seat, excellent food and great entertainment.

We got married at the Belmore on May 13th 2017 and the day went better than we could have wished for thanks to the hard work and dedication of Sarah and her team. Our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening took place in the function room, and everything went very smoothly indeed, with all the little details and usual traditional/ceremonial things taken care of. From the first contact we had to enquire about the booking right the way through until when we checked out the following day, The Belmore were extremely helpful and accommodating which made our lives so much easier. The DJ and venue styling that they provided were also fantastic! We had a vintage/WW2 era theme for the day which wasn't a typical wedding, but Sarah and her team accommodated everything we asked for, including a delicious three course meal taking our wartime inspired ideas for ingredients mixed with a modern presentation to deliver something that everyone loved without costing us any more than the advertised rates. As far as the pricing was concerned I found it to be very competitive, and given that my wife and I first met at The Belmore it made the decision to go ahead and book even easier. I would highly recommend The Belmore Hotel for your wedding. Thanks to everyone for your hard work in the lead up to and on the day!

Had my son's 21st here on Saturday 8th July booked over year ago. On the actual day Simon Darren Mohammed were absolutely fantastic. We're very professional loved Simon. And Sarah the manager was great all the way. The dj who I hired from a agency through Sarah manager was bloody fantastic loved him to bits … food great. Everything went beautiful wonderful according to plan. I hired several rooms. What a surprise comfy beds too excellent value highly recommended the belmore hotel I've had 3 people book venues due to me recommending the belmore so. The hotel was perfectly situated just far enough away from the center of Manchester with only a 25 minute drive away. The rooms were very nice and clean. The bed could have been more comfortable but didn't spoil the stay. There was no lift and only stairs to the rooms. The breakfast was lovely and the staff very helpful.

Visited on a bank holiday for lunch — service was quick, food was excellent and obviously cooked fresh. Reasonably priced as well. Plenty of parking space.

The beer garden is great for relaxing in warm weather. The staff and customers are really friendly.

I attended quiz night which is every Monday evening from 9pm. Only £2 per team entry. Quiz is comprised of a picture round, 2 rounds of various trivia questions (true/false;family fortune style;multiple choice;guess the year types). A picture round and a final one on music. Allison hosts it and is amazing. The whole evening is great fun. The Belmore supply free sandwiches and fries during the quiz which is a great bonus. Prize is £20 voucher to spend at the Belmore. Last thing is play your cards right, but be warned you will have to dance while the cards are placed on the board.

Busy service but staff were efficient. Very good food too.

Every Monday is quiz night. Professionally run, cheap to enter and some free food provided (chips and sandwiches). Very entertaining evening.

The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the product. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice too. The wait on food was crazy long but it was worth it in the end.

Pre ordered food but still had to wait over 40 minutes for it. Average food quality.

Good wasn't all bad, but not quite 3 stars… Which should tell you something. Service was somewhere between below average and bad.

Regularly go to the Belmore on a Sunday. Service is always quick and food is always delicious.

Just took a party of 21 to The Belmore for a whole weekend reunion. Staff could not be more helpful and nothing but praise for them from all. Everyone delighted with their room and the Function Room was perfect for our evening Dinners. Food good and really everything there is good value for money. All thought it was a far better plan to stay at The Belmore rather than in a large impersonal hotel in the middle of Manchester.

Comfortable pub with good food and always a couple of decent real ales on tap. The Monday night quiz is excellent.

Pleasant to go for a drink in the summer as you can sit outside. It's a beautiful building and was nicely renovated a few years ago. Although I always enjoy it here, I think the food is very overpriced as it's not particularly special. But it has a nice atmosphere for dining.

Nice up market gastro-pub. Very good beer and food is usually good, too.
