The Weaste from the east. What a hole that place is. Not only are the staff an absolute disgrace the place is distrusting. When I first walked in one of the staff was asleep behind the counter with the TV blaring and his dirty feet on the front desk. I still at this point thought I would give the place a chance after waking his bone idol self up. When I saw our room I was instantly disappointed, the TV didn’t work and our outside view was all of the residents bed sheets laced out over the floor next to a load of bins. On our first night they had a young football team in the hotel that were running riot and when I approached the staff about it they said they can’t do anything. I would rather live on the streets than stay at this disgusting excuse for a hotel. Staff poor. Rooms poor. Facilities worse than poor. Owner a disgrace. Avoid avoid avoid.

Stayed overnight. Never again. One tiny milk 3 t bags and 1 sugar in a box room supposed to be a double! No hot water. Reception was and said oh ok we will look into it! Outside nxt morning I approached a couple asking did they have hot water? They said yes and what room number was I staying in. Not no 11 I said yes to which they said oh we stayed in that room 2 weeks ago and it didnt have hot water then … steer clear is my advice.

I can say a lot about this guesthouse — but I wouldn't call it "hotel". I must regret to give 2/5, there were no cutlery or cosmetics or a hair dryer in the room, and the iron was so burnt that it couldn't be used. An additional downside is the lack of ventilation and very high temperature in the room. The bathroom was quite sloppy and even lightly dirty. The advantages of the room include its size and quite comfortable bed — the price of the room was low and it was far from the center. For 2-3 days okay — for a longer trip I certainly will not recommend.

Really not a good stay. The rooms were really unclean, it made for an awkward night, because I just couldn't settle, I felt really unclean after leaving. A huge underwhelming and disappointing stay, I think I would stop elsewhere and pay more.

If I could give 0 star I would, because there was nothing that was positive about this place. The rooms were nothing short of horrid. They do try I guess to clean it, but maybe it would be better to open their eyes when they are cleaning it. The staff were not the most helpful, they seemed more bothered about hurrying us along, than delivering any kind of service. But in any case, the room alone is worth forgetting about this as an option, I genuinely get I needed another wash after leaving.

I was extremely disappointed, the room was unfortunately one of the worst I have ever stayed in. I understand for the price you pay, the expectations shouldn’t be much, but is it too much to hope for something that feels, looks and smells clean? I laid in bed all night wishing I had booked a youth hostel, I would have much preferred a night spent shared with the youth of today than the nastiness in this room. If you are brave, have no other options, than stay here, I would recommend take the option of a park bench, atleast you don’t have unhelpful rude staff to contend with.

Best budget hotel I have ever stayed I don't understand the made reviews we loved it's comfortable rooms and very helpfull staff.

There wasn't even a radiator in the room and the toilet was ridiculously tiny although upon request a heater was provided. The lady at reception was kind and friendly. To top it off it was £160 for the night. Worst hotel I ve ever stayed at.

Absolute awful stay… £50 for a family room which was more vile than a trash bin for your rubbish. Under the beds had food dust used socks from last people that'll of used the room… Broken wires… broken locks Dirty bedding Broken kettle No blinds in the windows as we had a front street view so couldn't open curtains Breakfast included not what we expected. Dirty tables Stale bread Dirty rotten toaster It was so noisey through out the night more than any other hotel. I'm embarrassed at the fact I fell for what looked a lovely place and booked to bring to of my children one of which has health issues as we arrived ready for a good night's sleep before long day of hospital appointments. Only cleanest nice looking part was the hall way to reception. My only reason for the 1* review ratings.

We saw the reviews and thought it can't be that bad but It's probably worse. The drives getting redone so very limited parking, rooms are very basic and not as shown in website. It says that the rooms are cleaned daily (but u have to leave the room key or it doesn't) free breakfast (toast, cereal and coffee) even though it says any special requirements, it will not be possible. Small and basic rooms with noisey guests and loud phones ringing. On our second night the TV wasn't working properly, only about five channels working, complained to the man on reception who said he couldn't do anything and we needed to speak to the manager, who wasn't in until 10 in the morning. Would not recommend.

This is place is FANTASTIC I would normally stay in five star hotels but after staying here I will never pay that sort of money when I now know I can get the same sort of fantastic room and fantastic customer service for a fraction of the price I would recommend the Weaste hotel to anyone who is looking for a hotel with high qualities at a very lowlow price.

This is the worst hotel I have ever visited again!

As you may have picked up by reading the reviews, hotel is a dead ting. Male reception worker was incredibly aggressive after saying "No, you've pissed me off enough" after we apologised for any noise we caused as a few friends had been popping out for cigarettes, and even said if there were any issues regarding noise upstairs if he let us know we would tone it down. The woman who greeted us when we checked in was polite and couldn't be faulted. Rooms could be better, for the price you can't really complain too much. If the hotel was refurbished and managed more effectively I'd be happy to pay a higher price as it could be a nice hotel, unfortuneately right now it does not meet the standard youd expect for a budget hotel.

Disgusting. The room was filthy, mold on the walls and very bad damp. Bathroom mirror wasn't even on the wall but wedged behind the taps of the sink. Dirty marks all over the bedroom walls. Can't review breakfast as we weren't taking any chances so avoided it. The whole place was horrible.

Absolutely awful experience. Taps were loose, walls were made out of plasterboard so you could hear everyone else, window lever was so far up making it impossible to close the window as the central heating was off and the TV only had radio chanels. Didnt even wait for breakfast as doubtful it would have been acceptable. Avoid at all costs.

Beds aren't the best quality, the showers leak, poor air conditioning and breakfast wasn't palatable. The staff were friendly and helpful though.

Reasonable price room arrived very early in the morning staff were there to welcome us. Basic room and very comfortable beds.

For family, this hotel should definitely be avoided, in fact I do question whether this hotel fits for purpose at all! We have experienced an aggressive reception manager. He requested us to pay cash only, claimed that his card machine was not working. He insisted that we should go outside and withdraw cash, we wonder what his motives are, we would suggest officials should look into it seriously. When we refused to pay cash, this was soon followed by non stop verbal abuse to the extent that he chased us out of his hotel and left us no choice but to look for another hotel. We felt unsafe, threatened and insecure. This was witnessed by a member of staff and two other guests checking in. When we tried to speak to the other guests, he stopped us and again accused us of never having stayed in a hotel before which suggests we shouldn't talk to his customers and we had personal issues. He then chased us out to avoid speaking to the other two guests. He asked us to go and wait in his kitchen but kitchen was locked. The hotel is situated in a quiet isolated area and we were feeling vulnerable. We immediately called a cab and left the place as he started getting more aggressive. His behavior was despicable and he should never be allowed to run a hotel. I would not recommend it safe for families or single women.

Room was/is of a very poor standard: television reception not good, low internet reception, poor sound blocking — voice noise most of the night along with peoples footsteps, had to go out and buy milk for hot drinks, to buy drinking water for kettle for boiling, one shower wall damaged, no clothes wardrobe, no door hooks, night light not working. Only bed and bedding of high standard. Hotel advertised card payment available, but upon arrival was asked for cash. Receipt not issued.

From the outside the hotel does not feel the most welcoming. However our minds where out at ease when we entered the building. The hotel staff where very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable of the area directing us to food recommendations for the evening. Room was as expected no frills. Breakfast was a fairly weak pieces of toast but considering it was included in the price/free wasn't too much to complain. Ultimately enjoyed our stay would have just preferred a softer mattress and potentially thicker doors, as you can hear everything that was happening in the hall way at all time of night.

Room 19 was allocated to me and my God, the place is aweful. Mold all over the tiny, dingy bathroom. Bedroom is an extended store. Window doesn't close. Room is as basic and as shabby as I have ever seen. Decided to sleep in the car and still waiting to be refunded. Will update with the final outcome.

Always stinks here not sure why.

We stayed here for one night last year and the memories are still in our heads for the wrong reasons. We wanted to somewhere cheap to stay for one night as we had tickets to the champions league game. The price was cheap so our expectations weren't the Ritz. However having stayed in some budget hotels in turkey, I'd much rather go back to them than here again. We arrived and went into the hotel. Outside is not great and although the situation of the hotel can't be helped a lick of paint and maybe a general clean up could have. Inside we paid our fee and was taken to a room that seemed to have been made from plasterboard. It was tiny and certainly not what was advertised on the website. Still we were in a rush so I tried to have a shower. There was no hot water. After calling down they sent up a man who managed to make the shower hot. He left and I went to get in and it was above Boiling. We called the man back. Half an hour later he gave up and we were moved to a room with a "new electric shower. " Once again I tried to wash. No luck again. No hot water. By this time we were running late. They did offer for me to shower in the room but we were so late I washed my hair in the sink and left. I was by this time upset and annoyed. The doors are hard to lock and the key didn't always work. We got back and laid in the bed. Every time I turned the bed squeaked and squealed. After a terrible nights sleep, we arose for breakfast. It was some cornflakes, muesli and yoghurt.
