Comfortable room and ok price. Breakfast freshly cooked. Could do with a bit more choice on breakfast or ability to swap things on menu.

Extremely expensive, which is bizarre considering its location. It's in Wallington, not Kensington! I was charged almost £11 for one glass of rose, despite asking for house rose. The same barman charged a friend around 7.50 for a single G&T, whereas later other servers charged her far less. This barman admitted serving premium drinks by default when asked what the story was later on. He also insisted I hadn't asked for house when I had. What sort of pub automatically serves the highest price wine by default with no warning anyway, even if he hadn't heard me ask for the house?! It really put a dampener on the afternoon as you felt you had to constantly check what you were ordering, especially if you got into rounds. I didn't want anyone else to get stung on my behalf! It also just felt really dishonest as well, like the pub was trying to get as much money out of you as possible and hoping you'd be tipsy enough to not notice. I don't think I will be back; other local pubs like The Hope and The Sun also have nice beer gardens and don't try to rip you off.

Nice pub/restaurant and devided nicely. Good selection if beers and spirits. Outside seating available. Great menu choice and food has always been cooked and cry tasty. It's just a bit pricey.

Nice place, went for a friend's birthday. No bottled water in room, could have used some in the night. Breakfast was superb. Room was decent, clean but no wash flannels provided.

We have hired the function room out in this pub a couple of times for a birthday and a christening, is a nice space with an outside garden which is lovely in the summer. Great food and wine.

Been coming here for years. Went yesterday and three out of four meals were badly cooked. It may have been because they were busy and couldn't cope. However, we actually went in for a Sunday lunch. the roast chicken was £19. they've always been expensive (drinks have always been expensive) but I it tended to be worth it. Even if yesterday was a one off I'm not paying £19 for a Sunday lunch so we won't be going back there for a while. staff however were still very good.

As a vegan customer I can absolutely recommend the Dukes Head. I called up this morning to ask if there were any vegan options available on the Sunday menu and, despite this not normally being so, Connor (sorry if incorrectly spelt) assured me that he would arrange for the kitchen to prep 2 vegan meals in time for our lunch booking. The mushroom stack was gorgeously seasoned and filling. Soya milk available for a latte after and we left with the information that the new menu coming soon would be featuring more vegan options! (Hoorah! ) We will definitely be back to enjoy more of this good food, service and atmosphere again.

Lovely food. Had several good meals here and one very average cream tea — some of the cakes were actually Mr K's but tea itself was really good quality and this was a few months back so may have improved now. Nice decor. More craft beers and trad ciders please…

A lovely pub right next door to the Dukes Head Hotel. The pub is spilt into different rooms so it's cosy and intimate. There is a restaurant plus outdoor seating including 3 huts that seat 10-12 people which are available for hire. In the winter, part of the outdoor area is covered but they provide blankets if you get cold.

Lovely pub, nicely decorated. Excellent food. It's a Young's pub so not a big selection of real ale but OK. Waiters and bar staff are very polite. Maybe a bit pricey but you pay for a good experience.

Always a great night here staff are lovely and they catered for my amazing Engagement party perfectly! Couldnt have asked for more and my stay overnight in the hotel followed by breakfast was beautiful! Would definitely recommend!

Went to a wedding party here. The pub was nice, the food was good and the staff were great.

Gutted really. It was a lovely pub to stop in on the way home from work sometimes, car park is a hassle to use and then was turned away for wearing a clean work uniform (workmen not welcome anymore)! )

Stayed overnight Christmas Day to Boxing Day, which was lovely to be able to see my sister in Beddington. The room was clean and well appointed and had all the usual things you'd expect. The staff were very polite and friendly and the breakfast choices and quality were very good too. Will likely stay again if I need to stay near my sister.

A lovely pub that caters for all ages. Renovated in the last few years, the pub feels very bright and airy. The food is excellent and the staff are very helpful.

Was initially booked in another pub to have my post wedding meal with my family and friends but it turned to be shambolic, so I resorted to find another pub and a friend suggested me this one. After 2 days of inquiring online, I was contacted to confirm it all and was told it would be A la carte, great start! We came half an hour early and were happy to wait for our table but they informed our table was already ready! The waitress we had was funny and very friendly (she had to endure my father in law jokes), the service was impeccable and the food was very tasty. All in all, a fantastic experience at the Dukes Head and I will most definitely return!

Very nice hotel with an exceptional bar and selection of beers and wine. Hotel room very clean and value for money.

Stopped in for a late lunch and the food and service were great. The Young's London Stout hit the spot too.

Great service is what keeps me coming back to the Duke's Head. The prices, for the area, are quite high but about average for a Young's pub. The food is highly recommended and when the weather's good they have a BBQ which has always been good. I haven't stayed in the rooms but we have friends who have and they said the beds were very comfortable and the rooms clean and well looked after.

Just a short walk from the train station The Dukes Head is a great place to stay. Staff are first class, rooms are more than you expect, the breakfast is fantastic. Beds big and comfortable. There is bar our room was 202 above the bar but we were in the bar until late so not a problem for us. If you want a quiet night ask for a room further away. Overall for the price good value. Recommend.

Young's pub with their usual choice of beers. Warm and inviting but is also a hotel so expect to pay hotel prices at the bar. Service is quick and efficient but also friendly. One of the best pubs in the area.

I have been a lot of places in my time and as far as quality of pub grub goes this has to be one of the best I have been too only downside is price of beer but hey I'm a northener ha.

Veg was nice, but lamb was advertised as pink and indeed I was even warned it was pink by the waitress. Unfortunately for the two of us that ordered it, it was very very well done.

Lovely surroundings, good (chef cooked) food, a very good wine selection, a reasonable choice of beer and friendly and efficient staff, plus a friendly and polite clientale. A good place for a quiet lunch or dinner, or having a pint and a chat by the bar. Real fires and TVs and food served all day.
