Fabulous gardens plenty of space even on a busy summer day.

Beautiful grounds that would take you a full entire day to see all of it. We went back in the evening to see the Christmas lights. The music made it a multi sensory experience great for kids and adults. Take your time and watch each light show in its entirety. It's awesome. Thankyou.

A pre Xmas present coming to see the lights…Now have covid … no transfer or refund for Friday. Bah Humbug to you Kew Gardens. Extremely disappointed as was so looking forward to it. Most companies honour a booking because of Covid …. Shame on you! positive test can be provided for proof.

Wonderful place, really well organised, laid out and easy to navigate around. Great views, plenty of seating to sit and enjoy the scenery and wildlife. Trees, plants, flowers, shrubs all beautiful.

I visited kew gardens on the hottest day of last summer with my whole family. Its huge ad there is alot to look around and observe specially if you are nature lover. It was a lovely day out, I decided not to be lazy and have a good look around.

I visited Kew Gardens August 2019. A member of staff approached me in the garden area and shouted at me in front of other customers.
I was very upset and embarrassed and I reported to the reception desk.

If you are looking to visit the gardens, don’t do it now, as all buildings/ greenhouses are closed. The gardens were beautiful but not worth the 15 pounds!

My visit to Kew Gardens was a bucket list wish come true. Everything was fascinating for me not only as a keen gardener but a lover of the open air. The walks were breathtaking and the greenhouses beyond description. Lunch by the lake was pricey but delicious. Can’t wait to go back.

Just been informed I could rebuy my tickets for 30th which I have not yet been refunded for but now can’t rebuy as they are sold to someone else! Very poor customer service after Kew cancelled me but did not rebook me automatically. Now no tickets and no refund.

Kew Christmas lights were very good. Went with the children & grandchildren. Took apprx 1.5 hours to walk round. Places to drink and eat on the way. Park at NCP Richmond Station if driving and get special evening rate. 20mins walk max to Lion Gate, Kew.

Me and my husband visited gardens 2 days ago and were very disappointed because treetop walk and Pagoda were closed, what is more you cannot see all plants e. G in a Palm house because routes are closed. Waterlily house was amazing but other attractions was a bittersweet experience. Cafes very expensive and nothing nice to eat there. I could understand that some attractions are closed but why the price is not reduced? There should be info at the front about closed spots because lots of people where surprised. I am not sure we will be back.

Kew is absolutely beautiful, so many trees, flowers and other plants you could comfortably spend a day here. Lots of gorgeous shops and plenty of places to eat and drink. Really friendly staff and beautiful structures.

The gardens are beautiful and maintained wonderfully. If you choose to go on a guided tour the volunteers are very knowledgeable and exhibitions are amazing. The glass structures of Dale Chihuly took my breath away.

The most exciting and impressive place in the UK. Absolutely magnificent. We spent 4 hours, constantly moving from one attraction to another and we couldn't see even the half of it. We had sandwiches while walking so I cannot say anything about the restaurant but everything else, including the shop was stunning. This is a must see destination.

What a beautiful place to relax your soul. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic! A whole day is required to see everything. The only disappointment is the price of food and snacks in the cafes, expensive.

The exhibition was impressive the gardens tranquil. I would advise bring a picnic. The small cafe by big glasshouse has very poor selection of pre packed poor quality sandwiches. There were no bins for rubbish yesterday when I went, no staff to clear tables. No china mugs so must get through thousands of cardboard ones, with a comment at the till to bring your own. A captive audience, perhaps should outsource to enthusiastic caterers. A missed opportunity and not the best experience for visitors.

Beautiful place to be. A lovely hangout place to enjoy nature and creativity. Great location. Enjoyed the food too.

What can I say — absolutely blown Away — loved it — only negative was the queue to get in — but definitely worth it — We were advised by Volunteer Doris to Try the tree walk — I have never walked round anything so quick, hate heights but that's just me — the other 3 I was with loved it — there is so much to do — we will definitely be back — the guy playing the Double Bass was absolutely wonderful — the visit made our weekend — thank you Kew xxx.

Beautiful park but feel I spent to much to enter. Lots of other beautiful gardens in london that are free.

We took a group of 55 people in a coach. Everyone enjoyed seeing all the different types of plants. Would recommend visiting this place.

Great day out. Very interesting parkland (well signposted so you can identify the trees and shrubs, even if you cannot pronounce their names) and wonderful glass houses. Catering areas left a lot to be desired (needs to be properly organised to enable a flow through of people rather than the chaos of people not knowing where to queue, sit etc) but I have given 5 stars as I went for the gardens not the food. Need more than a day!

Good pub for casual drinking and a bite to eat. The quality of food is ok. I had a burger and although the portion was generous for the price, the meat was too dry as often found in pubs. Staff friendly but not always on the ball with what's on the menu.

Worth every penny. It is beautiful and a must visit for a day out. The amount of work that is being done to preserve the flora and fauna from around the world is mind boggling.

Kew Gardens is fantastic! A must see if you are in London. You need at least two full days to see it all. It would be good if there were more lockers and the staff had a better attitude. Still, great place!

Kew is wonderful. Easily fills a day; food and drink a little pricey. The Elizabeth Gate is the main entrance and has cafe style restaurant and a shop including souvenirs and plants.

After reading the recent negative reviews it almost put me off visiting but glad I went. The gardens were so beautiful, loved that I could find lots of peaceful areas to sit and take it all in. The temperate house was fabulous and whilst the plants were a lot smaller than before they will soon grow again and heard a lot of people comment on how nice it was to enjoy the building as well as the plants. The guide book was excellent, good range of facilities and food/drink/gifts not terribly over priced. The ticket price is excellent value for money and the guide book was also worth buying. Finally the hosts in the kitchens and house were really welcoming. The only thing I struggled with was the treetop walkway, I didn’t realise I’m scared of heights! Thank you for a very enjoyable day.

It's a lovely place to visit. Carers, blind and partially sighted have free admission.

So beautiful, so amazing. A really wonderful place everybody should visit once at least.

Visited on 6th May on what turned out to be one of the hottest bank holidays on record. Queues were very long as not all kiosks were open which we found ridiculous. There is not enough places on the far side of the gardens for even a drink of water. My daughter tried to get the children something to eat as we were still there around teatime, she waited in the very long queue for something and as she finally reached the counter she was told that he was closing, even though there was plenty of food still available. She did manage to buy some food after complaining. We all felt that not only are there a lack of places for food and drink, but some of the little kiosks around were shut! Also where are all the rubbish bins around the gardens? We think the staff were totally unprepared for the amount of people that came to see the newly restored glasshouse. More kiosks for just drinks are needed and so are recycling bins for all the plastic you should not be giving out with the food!

Great treat for all. You need to spend 3 days exploring!

Probably better now it is opening up. Miserable when I went in early March. Roll on summer.

Decent parking for what is a truly stunning place to lose yourself for a day.

Kew Gardens, the actual garden is wonderful — absolutely stunning, brilliant science and conservation, everything you would expect and more. But oh dear, the cafes are full of polystyrene plates, plastic cups with lids, straws, plastic cutlery, its just a terrible, terrible example of a lack of joined up thinking. Its not just that it creates an enormous amount of waste, but that it tells anyone visiting that its ok to use these things at a time when most other outlets are phasing them out. It sets such a bad example for an organisation that prides itself on conservation. I couldn't believe how bad it was and there are no other options — no china plates or cups if you're eating in. Hence the fair rating.

People are reviewing a gate? Ok. Lovely hinges, great action, opens a treat.

Even when it's busy you can find a place to have some quiet time.

Love the vista Kew offers at every turn Favourite features for me are the Water lily house, Fern House, The Hive,, Palm House and The Princess of Wales Conservatory.

A great place to visit, lots of green things to see and explore. Great for nature or garden lovers or anyone who likes to have a stroll.

If you are in hurry and don't want to return to the main gate-the Victoria gate or you have train ticket from Kew bridge station-yes this is the gate you should come out from the garden. It's just a gate with some visitor information and ticket counter too. As most of the visitor have complaints regarding price of food, it would be nice if you take your own food as they don't body search food:-). But if you feel like I would like to contribute garden you are welcome. A lots of restaurants and bars are there. Enjoy the visit. Summer is the best time to visit this place.

Went there with my 1 1/2 year old and she loved it! The colours of the flowers and the many varieties of trees are just magnificent. Definitely a brilliant idea to spend all day there when the weather is sunny. Tons of space to get lost and discover. Will definitely visit with my daughter again. The Pavilion Restaurant served great food. But the quiche was real tiny. The restaurant might want to increase the size of that. The Temperament house and Pagoda tower in the Japanese gardens were closed for renovation. Would've loved to see those.

It has a bridge between the trees to which you can climb unfortunately I went in winter, the facilities are beautiful.

Easy to find, fast passage, immediately get close to the Secret Garden) ), an exhibition in a separate pavilion, but there is no nearby toilet… It is necessary to pass a little) )

Nice little place with great food, great service and reasonable prices. We had the burger and the sword fish for main, and I'd recommend both. You can also just stop by for a drink or two. Nice place, great atmosphere.

We stop here often for a drink and bite of food. Very comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff in the bar area. Certainly for a drink or two and good food in the bar/pub area, you would not be disappointed.

A great place to visit for the whole family. Currently undergoing major renovations, which seemingly has no impact on the price of admission. They have compensated by increasing the amount of seasonal events. Get a ticket for the road train if you are with a group of elderly people as the park is huge.

Decided to go there some days ago. Best decision I could've done. In a sunny day the atmosphere is unique, if you live in central London and you want to spend a day in the nature and discover new vegetal species this is the best place to visit.

A world famous garden. I could spend hours here wandering among the trees and beautiful plants. Make sure you check out the chalkboard by the entrance to see what is in bloom. The cafes offer good food, but are quite pricy.

This is a great place for plants and plant lovers. It's a large place and isn't somewhere that you easily get around in a day by walking. The restaurants and gift shops are a little over priced. Tips for a great day. Get a ticket for the hop on hop off land train. It hits the major parts of the parks and you can explore the area and then hop back on again. Get a map of the park and decide what you want to see.

The gardens here are absolutely fascinating. They are all kept in great condition and there are so many places to explore with different species of plants. The café was somewhat lacklustre, however you could always bring your own food and have a picnic. There were also activities for younger children to partake in, creating their own minibeasts out of milk cartons and other recycled materials. There's also a nice gift shop to help you remember your stay. All in all, I had a great time here and I would recommend it to any families or plant enthusiasts.

I went between Christmas and New Year and although I was unsure there would be much to look at, it was amazing and I ran out of time. This place is huge and definitely warrants multiple visits. Can't wait to return in the summer.

Both my kids learnt to walk here, and we have some wonderful memories throughout the seasons. It's a good quiet day out, the coffee and restaurants are a bit pricey, but good. If you are with kids, find the badgers den, and log walk. Enjoy.

Awful experience. Staff very rude and service terrible. Other diners were also shocked at how we were treated. Definitely would not return here again.

I visited Kew Gardens yesterday to see the Brazilian Orchids Exhibition. It is truly stunning!. The range and variety of orchids was breath taking and they were displayed in such an original and imaginative way. I have visited this exhibition in previous years, but this year it is truly outstanding.

I have the fortune of meeting him in person but saw it on a TV show and it's beautiful waited to meet him one day by all variety of plants than in the houses.

It hosts one of the largest collections of live plants in the world. Must-see.

Beautiful botanical gardens in South-West London, well-kept and in which they can spend hours and hours. Also has area of shop and Cafe, so we spend a little more than money.
Deserves a special mention the spectacle of lights held in winter every year, on the occasion of Christmas: Christmas Illumination. It must be book entry for it (not cheap, but is worth) and then find a "path" (or trail) marking where we can admire different illuminations (some with sound), that fascinate us.

Beautiful and worth a trip! Especially in the spring when everything starts to bloom.

There aren't many places in the UK as lovely as Kew Gardens, Full of history and nature it is also one of the most interesting and beautiful walks in London. We have visited many times and most recently enjoyed a lovely evening wandering around at the spectacular Christmas lights event they hold every year. The grounds have some great attractions and wonderful buildings to explore and a very nice cafe in the Orangery. Visit any time of year, it is always worth it.

A definite must go to destination for any visitor to London because it is both a feast for the senses, especially the eyes, as well as a calming respite from the clamour of every day existence. The entrance price compares well with the cost of a seat in a cinema, particularly when you consider that you can stay there all day. For first time visitors, there are excellent free introductory tours at 11:00 am and 1:30 pm.

Relaxing, beautiful and informative. Easy access from M4 or by tube. The premier gardens of Britain with a vast collection of trees and exotic plants. Tree top walkway, enormous and historic glasshouses, kids adventure playgrounds. Perfect for a day's wandering!

Haven of peace, a paradise for botanists and nature lovers. Also can enjoy the pond and the Victorian greenhouse iron and glass that houses the tropical species. A tourist train runs to it visit entirely, given its breadth.

Nice hotel, nice pub, great food! It's the perfect location if you need to be close to Heatrow or Richmond. Less than 200m far from Kew Gardens underground station and 2m from 391 bus stop. Excellent breakfast and food at the pub/restaurant. The room is big, clean and well decorated with modern furnitures. For me is the perfect choice when coming to London (Richmond Upon Thames).

It is the Park London botanical in it you can find a wide variety of plants. The price per ticket are 15 lbs + 1.5 donation in addition to the plants also can see some aquatic animals within the greenhouse. The area of the Park is as twice that of the Park of the retirno of Madrid. To visit him they should get off at the stop Kew Garden in zone 3. It can also be reached by Ferry.

Since the reburishment the restaurant is a great place to have a family Sunday lunch. It is a good dinner option any time of the week. It is busy on a Friday night too. The deputy manager Kyle and his crew Alberto and David are super helpful and customer focused. Both my wife liked the relaxed atmosphere so much we had our wedding lunch there. Needless to say the team handled it seemlessly. Child friendly as well with its own dedicated changing space and an ample supply of baby chairs.

Friendly. Comfy rooms. Good food and beer. Will be back. Flights noticeable, but didn't bother me too much.

Their beer and burger is legendary. Worth the visit for this alone. Nice booze and ambiance too.

The Inn is great place to stop before or after.

Not cheap but good value with yearly membership and still worth the visit.

Went on Saturday with my 4 year old. Spent the whole day there and only saw about half of it. A great day out and going again today. Upgrading to a season ticket as this seems to be great value.
