Heathrow Stay Guesthouse

Felt very unsafe staying here. Convieneint to the airport, but would not recommend. Main door was left open at night and lots of sketchy people around.

The hostel needs a bit of TLC to bring it to a good standard. Good for a short stay if you are stranded or short of funds for a more expensive hostel.

The place is Run by sri lankans, disorganized, they aren't friendly. The same staffer would work at reception and cleaning. Very small rooms most of the times dwelled by homeless elderlies. No common area. There is a bar/pub downstairs in which loud music played at night. No common area, no kitchen, no free water.

The lady at the front desk was the only good thing about the hostel. She was very helpful in giving me information on what trains I needed to catch and things I should go see, she also loaned me a charger for my phone when my UK adaptor wouldn't work. That and it's close location to the tube. The light or plug ins didn't work in my bunk. If you get a middle bunk there is no room to even sit up. The room is very small for 3 girls so I couldn't imagine if there was 5, no table or chair to put things or sit. The girls who were staying long term pretty much had all the space spoken for. The place is dated, felt dirty and there is no kitchen or common area to hang out and relax or plan your day. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay then I guess you get what you pay for.

It's fine, you're getting what you pay for so it's not gonna be great. But it's fine.

Worst hostel I've ever stayed in. The place was filthy, the staff negligent, and the bar downstairs was blasting music all night to be heard throughout the building. I had a 17 hour layover at Heathrow and figured I would just grab a few hours of sleep here. It would have been better to sleep at the airport. Also the location on Google Maps is wrong. It's further North up the road than indicated, look up the White Bear pub to find it.

Cheap… n close to airport. U can get 24 hr public bus.

I think that's the best Hostel in the London. There is some reasons why I think this way, first one — separate showers, nice team and clean beds. Also there is good managment, always helpful — RECOMMEND!

A block of MDF had been used to fill in the housing for the lock in the door jamb, preventing us from being able to lock the door. Did not feel safe or comfortable here, would definitely not recommend to solo travelers.

You are missing a lot of cleanup… And the place is very small.

There is one word to describe this hostel and its staff — EVIL! I would highly recommend for anyone to stay away from here. It is by far one of the most filthiest and dishonest hostels I have ever dealt with, and I have travelled all over staying at hostels. I was lied to on multiple occasions by a staff member named Nicole who is very rude to customers. I paid up front for my room for multiple days, and behind my back, they rented out my bed to someone else where I found their belongings on my bedding when I came back to room. They wouldn't refund my night's stay for their screwed up mess. I witnessed a large rat at night running across the parking lot near the picnic table where people sit which is very scary. It is in a very bad neighbourhood for a woman to walk alone at night. There are only 2 toilets available for over 35 people, and I had to wait in queue for 10 minutes in the morning behind 4 other people to get to the toilet. They should be shut down by the Health Dept. For inadequate toilet facilities. There is no kitchen or refrigerator for a guest to access. Be advised to stay away and find somewhere else to go.

Great price, great staff. You can get a cheaper price online (vs walk in).

Very dirty. Please check the rooms before paying. I booked online for 3 nights and had to run away the first night.

Worst hostel experience, it's attached to a very noisy bar so you hear music and people all night, I was woken up multiple times by people being loud outside the bar, specifically two very loud fights and countless other random people, does not look like the pictures online and though is easy to get to from the airport it's an awful area so as a woman walking there I felt very uncomfortable, on top of all of this they charged me twice, even though the woman promised my online card information was not charged. Do not use!
