Nice place near the station. Quite small but overall very good.

Seemed like a family run place. Friendly staff. Breakfast was OK. Tiny tiny old (not too well maintained, but clean) room though, non the less, did enjoy my short stay here.

Good location close to Paddington. Clean comfortable room. Freshly cooked breakfast. Staff friendly and welcoming.

If you just going to stay one night, it's ok but for longer periods = NO. Breakfast was good though. Close to the tube and a few good restaurants.

Horrible Hotel very very dirty with very bad smell tiny rooms and the bathroom ridiculous we go esque you can not define nor as bathroom was a plastic water like those of the caravans, we got a room above all and did not have an elevator, it does not have a slogan or a sad room to leave the suitcases… you leave them in a hallway Dnde passes all over the world and without any control. I would not return x anything in the world.

Location wise it's really great. What stands out is the service by the staff and management. I bought five boxes of stuffs from Amazon UK and need them to receive and store them for me for like one week before I arrive at their hotels. They accommodates to my needs for that and help me other logistics stuffs. Really appreciate their help during my stay. Thanks! The management pays attention to staff training and interaction with guests. Oh and the room I stayed is clean too.

Scam alert! We booked and prepaid a room for 3 people and they tried to charge an additional $150. They tried to say that a tiny room with one small bed fits 3 people and that we'd have to pay extra for a 2nd bed. They don’t care what the reservation says. After a long debate and showing them a print out of the reservation for 3 people, they finally took us to the amazingly small room. Too small in fact for the 2nd bed, but they crammed it in any way. We had to climb over the bed to get to the bathroom as it left no room to walk at all. We spoke with about 12 other guests at breakfast and found that almost all of them had been scammed like they tried to do to us. They deliberately misrepresent the rooms online. The hotel was so uncomfortable that we opted to leave 2 days early and found a nearby hotel for the same price but infinitely better in every way. Also, good luck getting out alive if there is a fire in this place. Oh, and you can feel and hear the underground trains like you are sleeping in the subway tunnel.

No chance of ever being cold in this place. Near the centre of the earth. Right next to Paddington Station and a variety of cultured restaurants and bars. Room was good. Brekky by the two Thais who eventually noticed u were there lol. I would defo stay here again but due to the fact I wanted a drink at 11.30pm zone 1 London is like a dry state 11.30pm. Nice place tho and poppa bear the owner was great x.

Good Budget hotel. Strategically located almost touching the paddington station and underground. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi. Clean rooms. Hot water. TV and electric kettle. All you would need for a couple of nights stay. No lifts though. Had to haul heavy bags to fourth floor. Even the stairs are so narrow one person with one bag only can go up or down at one time. No room service. Overall good value for money.

I liked the proprietor. He cooks for the homeless twice a week, and the aroma is enticing! You can have some vegetable Curry and rice and accompany him on his distributions. Also less than stone's throw from Paddington Station.

Good Location. Found the rooms to be very small and breakfast was minimal with little fan fare for the english breakfast here. Service in the restaurant was inattentive and one small cup of coffee is what we were served. Bathroom in our room felt like it was modular.

Nice place near the city center, few steps from the Paddington station (train, tube). Clean sheets and towels (+shampoo+soap) every day, inside the place looks a bit used when one looks closer, but overall it looks good. I had single room with shared bathroom, I had this cute little handbasin with running water in it, though. It was tiny but awesome for two nights stay. The bathroom (tiny shower+toilet) was between floors, and there was one on every floor. I believe there are only two rooms per shared bathroom. Great breakfasts, helpful and friendly people.

Basic room with hint of drainage smell. No lift. Small n primitive toilet with sight of rusty bar. Very basic amenities, bring your own tooth brush, slippers and Wi-Fi as signals of the provided Virgin Wi-Fi could be very weak in some room. I wouldnt describe staff as friendly nor very hostile. For a night stay is acceptable if you dont pay too mucb for it.

Quaint place, as one expects in a place like this. Clean and snug. If you like the smell of KFC, simply open the window. (I do, that's no gripe) Bathroom shower-spigot thing clasp (I don't know the actual word) was cracked so it kept falling if you even looked at it sideways. Cheap repair on that, at least. The fact that it falls when any nudge is made in the bathroom suggests it is known and ignored, or little attention is paid to the restrooms. Staff was not very friendly. I don't know why they felt the need to interrupt me during speaking so often. I work in customer service in hotels myself, interrupting people is bad practice. The staff, by and large, were not interested — they just seemed pretty disengaged. I would have a meeting about customer engagement. Such treatment of guests would get them in trouble in the hotel where I work. Great location, right near the tube and many restaurants and small grocers. But that is a feature, not a crutch. Many hotels have good locations. Learn to be exceptional and you could command higher rates.

Great location, helpful staff, rooms a little dated with small prefabricated bathroom.

Everything overall very good considering price location etc. I will stay again. My only criticism is it took 20 minutes to get in after a night out, I did mention it to hotel staff when we left. Would recommend. Great location for Paddington station.

So glad I came here. Don't be expecting your typical American hotel where you can do laps around your room (my single was just that — a bed, shelving unit next to the bed, sink at the bedside, and the door out). That's all I needed though and felt very comfortably cozy. The owner is super nice and is always around, and makes a nice full breakfast included with lodging. The bathroom for my room was a community bathroom, but I never saw anyone coming or going in it. (There's only 2/3 rooms that would be sharing with you) Awesome location a block from Paddington station, which will get you to downtown London for 2£. There's plenty of pubs and restaurants within a short walking distance from the hotel too if you don't want to head back to the city every night. I spent 2 nights here, and would definitely recommend it to the single traveler (speaking for the room I had).

Clean, simple, affordable & a great location.

I think the hotel is a three star, but here, again from Paddington Train Station very close, overall location is great, but travel all day, then get a fourth floor room, the hotel didn't have Elevator fear, can only move things and take the narrow stairs. Room OK, clean, but not to the bathroom expecting too much, only a tiny shower room, with toilet and wash basin.

Small but elegant room! Just several steps away from Paddington station.

We wanted to spend a weekend in London but arriving at Paddington with two children and some luggage we wanted a hotel as close as possible to the station. And our choice has been correct, since it took five minutes from the train station to the door of the hotel. The receptionist has been very kind, our room was on the basement but our window took light from the main road and it was bright. The fee included a British breakfast and if you wanted you could eat a lot before going around! Our overall experience has been good, our quadruple room was big enough to accommodate one double and two single beds and the TV reception was good.

Our stay at Tudor was very nice, the hotel personnel charm and very effective. Rooms I am very large, not on all the bathroom, but that cleaning them is good. The best, the location, close to Paddington station, and a street full of shops. We really liked the stay, and if I return to London would go safely to this same hotel.

A very good mid priced hotel. Staff very courteous and helpful. Rooms small but very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.
