Basic room and subway noise, but comfort quite enough to sleep and extra location. The staff are very nice and polite!

Lovely location close to Paddington station. Only stayed for one night and that was probably enough. Ground floor room, so easy access but loads of noise from shouting, banging and the underground which passes under the hotel. We found blood on the bathroom floor as well.

The lights were not working. Wall paper was coming off in places… very unpleasant experience. The guy at the reception was good though.

Hotel run by the himself Tony Soprano. Excellent breakfast served on carpeted tray. Infamous.

Room 5 (don't know about other rooms) can be slightly shook by the near by underground as well as being able to hear the train. Other than that it's a nice room and pretty friendly staff.

Location of hotel is 10/10, literally in the centre of London. Our initial room was on the bottom floor, which had no view and was also on top of the Paddington tube station which was rather loud. However we asked if we could switch and we were offered a room on the 3rd floor, which was free of charge! Breakfast was perfect; breakfast bars and croissants etc. All staff were lovely and bedroom was cleaned everyday with fresh towels. My partner and I will be back next time we are in London!

There was no breakfast as stated in our booking. No check out, no 24h front desk, no lift. Smell of sewage was overwhelming, mold and mildew everywhere. Underground train beyond loud and disruptive every 3-5 minutes. Take your money elsewhere.

Great location Hotel to avoid, bathroom without window and stinking, little clean, breakfast in the room with brioche, juice, yogurt everything from supermarket, staff non-existent, refrigerator better not open it, we were in 4 always 3 towels, booked service of Transport we are still waiting, we had to take a taxi, the photos deception the customers.

This hotel is nothing special but location and prize are what makes the difference. It is located a few steps away from Paddington station and cheap so it is the perfect choice to spend a few days in London.

Small rooms, Breakfast was alright if you like cold items like rolls and capri sun, luckily it's close to a McDonald's, only two sockets worked in the room (we had 6) for a cheap overnight stay it's not bad, for a few nights or longer I wouldn't go back.

Incredibly small. They gave us a double room as if it were a quad, and we took the quad of course… The breakfast esmalo. I don't recommend it.

Stayed for a few nights and cannot say a bad word about the hotel. Having had a few bad experiences in 2 star hotels this was a pleasant surprise. The staff were helpful and very friendly. The room was clean and had a hairdryer, iron and even a fridge in it. Towels were lovely :) Breakfast was delivered to the room at the right time each day. The location is in a green square and in a very safe area and yet only 2 minutes from Paddington station. We had a good time and will be happy to stay there again with staff we now consider friends.

I don't know why people are giving this place such a bad review, I came here with some friends after getting an airbnb full of bedbugs, the hotel was great, got a room just next to the reception, room was rather clean, no weird smell.
We also got breakfast every morning included in the price which was pretty ok given we didn't have much to go on after the airbnb full of bedbugs.

No! This hotel is not worth the price! Much too expensive for what it is worth … when we went there … there was the wardrobe of the crooked room. The Super Dirty window. A wheeled bed … of the wallpaper that was taking off! Not to mention the bathroom or there was only ice water! The M hangers and another one who was barely touched it folded in half. Not to mention the beginner in painting that dirty everything behind them and smell unbearable paint everywhere in the establishment! Be careful NY do not cétait the worst hotel I have ever been to!

This the worst hotel that I have ever been in to, the toilets doesn't work, the breakfast was really awful, the personal was not helpful. Don't go to this hotel, if there was a lower score then 1 it would be below zero!

Service was ok. Had to leave my luggage in front of the office since they don't have a storage room because I came before check in time. The guy who worked for night shift was really nice. He tried to help us for everything we asked for. Very good worker. Rooms are small and some spots are old but at least overall important stuff are new and clean like beds and closet. Recommend if you just need a small place to stay. Also its 1 min walk to a bus tour stop.

The room was clean and tidy, and the location was perfect as all transport links were a stone throw away.

At first impact is little and hospitable, we arrived on a Saturday night and didn't have free rooms, (although we booked 2 months before) and they set us up in a 4 floor attic with no elevator… Smurfs Room, small and very humid. On the second day we were upgraded to room (No. 3) downstairs near the entrance and near the water distributors, very noisy place. Slightly larger room, but with guests included, there was a mouse that lived there… Usual breakfast for all 7 days served in the room on a tray always resting on the ground… The only good thing was the bathroom in the room and the proximity to the metro station. I would not recommend for longer periods of 2 days.

It's a pleasant no frills hotel. The owner was nice and welcoming. The family room had to many beds packed into the room. I could feel the room rumble from the underground.

Clean hotel, helpful staff and just around the corner from Paddington station.

Horrible service. Led me there from another hotel, referring to the fact that their flooded … During the check the timeout was not able to find anybody. Room key had to be left at the door of the Commandant.

Very disappointed with this hotel. Cheap, small, bed 140, no space to stand in two: false compared to what is offered on the site! Disappointed also the breakfast: biscuits and croissants in packaging: no charge.

Double that nn does not even using. Cleaning NAIDU! Room at the 4th floor. Walk-up with steep and narrow stairs.

I agree with everybody We got to reception and the room next to it was blocked by our bags the room was stuffy and small I found hairs on my pillow only up side was the free use of the kettle.

Breakfast at Aldi, cigar butt on the ground of molds and expensive. Just not there.

I booked a hotel room at Tony's hotel for 109 Pounds. They told me they had a leak and send me to sophia's hotel. When we arrived at Sophia's hotel I sa a big sign with the prices: Single = 55 Pounds Double = 75 Pounds Suite =? They actually downgraded me as you can guess. When I said I wanted the difference back they began to talk in another language and call some people. They didn't want me to give me the difference back so I wanted a refund. They gave me the refund and I wanted to book the room myself in the same hotel for 55 Pounds. The price certainly had raised to 120 Pounds. So I said well okay because the other hotel I had seen was 180 Pounds. But when I entered the room there were still signs of the last person and it still needed to be cleaned. I didn't want to be in that room and left to the other hotel which was more expensive but way more kind and not a rip-off. I basically have been ripped-off and I strongly recommend NOT to go to this hotel. They are big scumbags and I didn't even feel safe.

We stayed there for 2 nights, the food was awful, the shower was nice though, it was really stuffy, and couldn't get a nice nights sleep, especially as we had to get up at 5 in the morning! The people were very kind though. Not really recommended, sorry.

We stayed at Tony's in november of 2007. Tony was a friendly chap, but this doesn't make up for the state his hotel was in. Maybe I am not used to London standards, but the amount of dust in the room, the old sock I found under the bed and the large amount of orange mushrooms growing out of the shower head, didn't bring up phrases like "a lovely magic place". If only we had tried smoking the mushrooms. It was one of the cheapest (less expensive) hostels we could find, though. Keeping that in mind, maybe it wasn't all too bad. Tony did provide us with a very nice breakfast every day. And we had a great time in London. But in Holland any hotel owner would be ashamed of the state the facilities were in.

That's about it. It's close to Paddington, but even the low price and the great location does not justify such an appaling room. It's tiny, not very clean, noisy and the bed is so bad. Shower and toilet facilities. Are present. We can not recommend this hotel and we advise you to spend just a little bit more, and find accomodation elsewhere. Even if you just "need a place to stay" because you spend all day and evening outside, the bed is just not good enough.
