Decent food, fairly priced, great service; I’m a regular pre-O2 visitor, The Pilot always delivers.

My favourite place since my first visit 8 years ago. Friendly and helpful staff, beautiful venue and delicious food. Wonderful service overall. 👏🏻🔝

Had a wonderful stay, great location for the 02. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent we had our evening meal and breakfast there. Would definitely stay there again.

Went for Sunday lunch and was very disappointed. Waited 45 minutes for three starters, when mains came the plates were hot but the food was luke warm. The meat was dry as we think it had been sitting under a hot lamp for too long.
£17 for a Beef roast, meat was ok but the amount of veg was laughable and cold. When we complained I was offered hot gravy to warm up the food, no I expect hot food to start. We were told after that two chefs had phoned in sick and they took 15% off the bill. So disappointed.

Great location for the o2 arena, easy to get to, nice pub and restaurant downstairs but didn’t hear any noise, nice rooms for a night or So away, but rooms are very hot. Needed to have the fan on all night and it was a little loud. Other than that great stay.

I had always wanted to stay at this inn as it is close to the 02. Imagine my surprise though when I discovered it is not as good as I thought. Our room had fire exit on door and the door was stiff to open. Decor was tired and dated. There was no main light only 2 bedside lights and 1 light on the desk. The bathroom was brighter with 2 ceiling lights and one over the sink. As the room faced the front with no curtains at the window the blind had to be lowered making it very dark inside when wanting to change to go out. The toilet was so close to the radiator you would have burnt your knees if the heating was on. The handrail on the stairs was starting to come away and the stairs were very narrow not ideal with a suitcase. The food in the evening was nice fish and chips followed by a choice of deserts. Breakfast consisted of limited cereals packets or a choice from a reasonable menu, but if you asked for toast all you got was hot white or brown bread with no hint it had been toasted. Altogether very dissapointing and sadly one place I will not be returning to.

Built in 1803, a heritage oasis in the middle of all the modernity of the Greenwich Peninsular. I really like this place, have visited several times. Staff always pleasant. Beer is good (Fullers). And food nice. Pleasant garden for nice weather. Can also recommend their Sunday lunches.

This is a great little find and a fantastic pub. The decor in here is great and people will admire some of the stuff like the globe. Food is great in this relatively relaxed pub. Free parking but it is only a small car park. Great garden and this place is clean. Toilets are good too. Staff are friendly and there is a good selection of beers.

Great pub and restaurant in the middle of new developments, so being the only pub for some distance outside of the O2, they should have plenty of future custom. This is a fantastic summer pub which has a nice accommodating garden and veranda over the restaurant. If you are looking for your usual bog standard pub beers, they are here, but you will not be disappointed if you fancy something a little different for a change, as here they also sell a wide range of real ales and unusual beers, that some you will have probably never heard of. On the downsides to this place are the prices of both the food and the beers, both of which are good by the way so you pay for what you get. So to summarize: great beer, great food, great pub but a bit pricey.

Lovely historic pub. Could do with training the bar staff in friendliness and greetings. Real ale was OK, nothing special. Would benefit from a segregated non-smoking outdoor area. Too warm inside when it's 30 degrees outside so would be nice to sit out without the smoke.

The location of the Pilot couldn’t be better for the o2 events with free car parking, great. The staff very friendly but food and drinks costly then again it’s still cheaper than the o2 (£14.00 for two pints of Budweiser) and it’s London. My breakfast the following morning was well worth it great job chef ‍ would recommend the Pilot.

Great outdoor area, and the fish and chips were amazing! I've had a few around town, and this is by far the best — the fish batter being flavoured and a massive portion, and the chips were handcut and really crispy. Just note that the outdoor area does close earlier than indoors to respect the neighbourhood surroundings.

Great pub and nice location. Have been coming here for years however recently the bar service has been awful. With four people behind the bar you would expect to get served quickly when the pub is not too busy yet some staff only look forward and will only serve the person who is infront of them. Look up once in a while to see who is next at the bar and you may retain some customers.

Great food. Great location. An oasis against the hustle and bustle of the O2, which is just up the road. If you are looking for somewhere to get a quiet meal or drink before venturing into the O2, try The Pilot.

Very very disappointing. Extremely. No greeting upon entry despite the bar being empty. The 'barmaid' displayed no social graces whatsoever. And the price for a mediocre wine and beer was extortionate! Will never return. As it's near a tourist attraction I would have thought there ought to be more emphasis on excellent customer service!

Overpriced food & drinks. Staff a bit rude felt was been looked down on. Atmosphere was a bit negative. Waiters don't come to your request and takes ages to give you your food and take the bill at the end. Was meant to get change but took forever to come so ended up walking out. Won't be going there again!

Quality of food and service is excellent. Nice garden area to enjoyed sunshine. Reasonable choice on the menu. Located in a quiet area close to Greenwich Village and close to a bus stop. This is a pub and hotel. It has a separate restaurant area as well as the bar where food is served. Selection of ales and larger on tap.

Very disappointed, not on par with the experience expected from Fullers (I have had some excellent fulers meals). Waited an hour for food from ordering (the excuse was we ordered starter — it was bread) forma 7pm sit down. The manager did comp us a bottle of wine (albeit after a bit of a fight as they wanted to comp us the cheapest, rather than the bottle we had been drinking which was a whole £4 more expensive). When the food did come the burgers were over cooked and dry, the chips were… Odd (and lukewarm) and when raised the staff didn't seem bothered. It is a nice venue and good for drinks, but way too hit and miss to consider eating here again.

Great family friendly pub, great food, great service and great staff. A lovely decor, nice seating areas, large outside garden which is very pretty. I would recommend this pub to anyone.

Lovely pub on the way to the penisular of Greenwich. Historic pub and lovely inside. Food pretty good decent guest ales. Worth a visit if heading that way. Good if you are wanting to go to an event at the O2 as they have guest rooms (10? ) for rent and want something close and cosy.

Really great menu for a pub. Food options were also super healthy which is a nice change. I stayed in the accommodation upstairs that was pleasantly comfortable. Great venue to meet up for drinks a meal or to stay in the area.

This is a lovely Inn. I have not stayed and so I’m only reviewing the pub. They have an outside garden, an outside terrace as well as a little area upstairs and a bigger area on the ground and lower floors. The lighting is great and you have natural light everywhere. The decoration is pleasant, it makes you feel at home. The service is good and they always want to help. The food is fresh with local and seasonal ingredients. It is a Fuller’s pub so plenty of Fuller’s beers but you also have others. It is near the O2 so very convenient if you want to take a boat or go to the cinema or watch a show before or after your meal and drinks. Taking all the above into account si find the prices very reasonable.

Always welcoming and friendly, this is a nice dog friendly pub. There is a sea/beach theme, with screens displaying big waves through portholes on the wall and speakers playing sounds of the beach in the toilets. The food is excellent, I had a dish of calamari yesterday which was lovely, although the portion was a little small for me. I can recommend this pub which also has hotel rooms above/next door.

Not immaculate and new but found it clean enough. If you can handle character in a hotel then location to the o2 is amazing. Would highly recommend.

My brother and I took our elderly mother to this pub for lunch yesterday. What a find! Smashing food, traditional decor and perfect service — just the right level of attentiveness, not overbearing but on hand as soon as you need something. We all had the haddock and chips which was lush. The puddings were tasty too. This will be our 'go to' place whenever we have a family lunch with our mum from now on. Smashing! Oh, and there's a fireplace and armchairs where you can have a drink and read a paper/book — genius!

What a fab place to stay, room was lovely, decor really quirky, all 10 rooms are decorated differently. Food is amazing and good value for money. Staff are really nice, can't fault it, really handy if your going to the O2, literally a 5 minute walk away. Will definitely be staying there again.

This is a really nice traditional pub in the middle all the modern development of the Greenwich peninsula. It has a great selection of beers to cater for all tastes. The food menu is very good and I can recommend the Sunday roast as being especially good.

Absolutely love this absolute gem in Greenwich. Had my 30th birthday in the pub with 20+ friends and the staff were excellent and extremely helpful and efficient. The pub itself is really nice and has a lot of character. Everyone in the group were very impressed with the venue, service, taste of foods and drink options and we will definitely come back again for a roast or drinks. Thank you for making a special day absolutely wonderful.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was disappointing. It was expensive, which wasn't surprising given its in Greenwich but it was extremely poor value for money. Not only was the room incredibly small, it was also very hot. The double bed was squeezed against the wall on one side meaning there was only side to get in and out of it. Also, one of the windows was just above the enclosed side of the double bed. If you wanted the window open during the night it meant opening a door around the window first. The trouble with this was if you woke in the night and forget this door was open, you'd hit your head on it if you sat up. Also, given there was no aircon in the room leaving a window open invited annoying, biting mosquitoes into the room even when the lights were off. The small quaint bar was really good and the restaurant was also good.

A really nice pub with great food, a good range of drinks (Fuller's). Standard London prices, i. E. A bit more than you might expect for the area. Lovely garden with some heated seating, interesting quirky decor inside.

Spent the afternoon here with a large family group. The staff were all wonderfully welcoming. They were very friendly and attentive. We all loved the food and although not cheap thought it reflected the quality and service. The only thing I would suggest is that something is done about the carpet in the downstairs area — it is really very stained & the area near the window looks like a grubby carpet of moss! It wouldn't put me off coming again but I thought it let the place down. An easy to clean wood floor would be better.

Great rooms, and friendly staff. Food menu is extremely limited needs more pub style meals. But what food we tried was nice, personally feel prices for food and drink are to high, but that's a London issue not so much this place.

We have been staying at the Pilot for Hillsong conferences for the past few years. It's a quaint hotel with themed rooms — ideally situated for the O2 — a few minutes walk away. The food is excellent, quality complimentary coffees/teas/biscuits/water in our rooms, shower room always has ample complimentary extras (and power shower too). Standard room is compact, captains cabin is a bit on the 'cosy' side and top of range room has a little more space. All are well equipped. Staff polite and helpful. Food excellent. Recommended for convenience and comfort close to O2

A pleasant place with a good stocked of beer and delicious dishes.

Liked the look of the place from the outside and inside was as nice but that's really the only thing going for this place.
Asking the staff if it was ok to have food outside seemed to be the strangest question ever asked to them. After learning it was ok, we went and found a table. With no mention from the staff that this was a table service venue.
Picking our overly priced food we went to the bar to order.
Asking if it was possible to replace the peas with baked bean, after repeating this request THREE times it lead us to discover that actually the staff here aren't educated. It was getting to the point that pictures of baked beans were needed as the young lad had never enjoyed the delights of beans before. As we had ordered fish and chips we asked for no sauce on either. Food order placed we stood waiting for our drinks to be told "oh it's table service". We sat and waited for our drinks and food. To be served one with sauce on the plate, not at the side but actually all over it. We thought never mind and scraped it to the side as we had already waited 15 mins.
The fish was so over cooked the batter was just too hard to eat and the chips had already been salted. Salted to the point the sea would be jealous.
Waiter was scruffy and never acknowledged us during our whole time there.
What I'm trying to say here is it's poorly run and over cooked food… aka not worth the money.

Went to the pilot for dinner prior to a show at the 02. Its a lovely bright and modern gastro pub with a lovely garden area. It has a relatively small menu which has something for everyone — the steak with truffle butter was gorgeous and the Rosemary chips a lovely touch — would definitely recommend.

Lovely place in the summer. Location is absolutely beautiful. Staff are friendly enough with a range of drinks and we'll cooked food.

My favourite Fullers Pub in London. A much better place to stop for a drink than anywhere in the O2. It's got a really nice beer garden too.

The location was nice and cosy. However the premises was quite small and the food although nice a bit pricey. With the o2 nearby it should be more competitive.

Nice food but the steak supposed to be medium well came out medium rare although not a problem I would have got more in a beefburger. Good beer.!

Very lovely little pub. Great selection of drinks and some very good quality food. Although prices might not be as competitive as other London pubs, you can clearly see what you are paying for — a good quality and caring establishment.

Great little pub situated on the Greenwich peninsula about a 5 min walk from North Greenwich tube station. Plenty of different ales and european lagers on tap. Contrary to the opening Google review of this pub, it isn't in Blurs parklife music video although the houses situated on the same street are the background to Albarn, Davies and Co's music ramblings.

Loved the Pilot Inn for lunch. The food was wonderful, and the recently redecorated dining areas were both chic and comfortable. The garden area is also really nice on a good day. One of my favorite pubs in London.

Perfect location but the place is full of nats which is evident by the countless ones squashed on the cieling by previous guests. Got bitten to bits.

I used to live by this pub and was eager to see the renovations. I am absolutely confused as to what happened! I love a nice pub but when you sacrifice character to get some cheap exterior to look trendy you lose all of that. The outside area has been opened up nicely and there is more efficient use of space, but I'm completely confused about what's going on with the food. I saw people getting seated and water being poured by staff! I'm confused is this a restaurant or a pub? I also am irritated by the grossly inflated prices. £18+ for a gin and tonic, peroni and a few bar snacks that were so pretentious it made me a bit ill. There must be new owners because the service was appalling and unwelcoming. I don't think I'll be coming back.
