Thanks so much to Chesterfield mayfair for a fantastic stay, all of the staff were lovely, especially Maya who checked us in and made our stay extra special. The room, food, drinks and service has been amazing and we can't wait to return.

Great hotel with very friendly staff. My son loved all the little touches. We will be back.

We had an amazing afternoon tea at mr Simms sweet shop at the chesterfield hotel, our waitress “Faizah” went above & beyond, nothing was too much trouble & on one of the hottest days of the year, she made sure we were comfortable, kept our water & tea topped up, we went for my sisters 50th birthday & it was fabulous from start to finish, Thank u for this elegant & quirky experience, the food was amazing & we will definitely be returning, Thanks again Faizah 😊 Just been reading some reviews about the afternoon tea ……. Even thought u only get one of each of the cakes, you can ask for more & the staff will happily bring you more.

The staff was excellent with our 19 month-old son. Especially at meal times, they were super accommodating and helpful. We came here and stayed for a wedding and it's a lovely venue as well.

Went for a lovely sweet shop themed afternoon tea. Really delicious, beautifully served, a real treat.

Spent a night for my birthday. When booking we were asked if there was an occasion which we confirmed. On arrival we were greeted by friendly staff who came to find us in the bar to confirm when our room was ready. On our return from the theatre that night there was a birthday treat in our room which was lovely to return to. On check out, again friendly staff and offers of assisting in arranging any forward transport we may need. Wonderful visit and I have been raving about our lovely Study room this week at work.

This hotel has been a fabulous find! Quintessentially British in a totally lovely way. Warm inviting staff and incredibly helpful concierge. This is my second visit and definitely want be my last. Totally enjoying the experience!

We live in Guernsey and came to London to spend Christmas. Our Christmas Day lunch was amazing, the staff are friendly, professional and smartly dressed. They behave in a professional manner but they are friendly and extremely helpful. Will definitely come back to this hotel ❤️

Unfortunately I found our sweet afternoon tea disappointing. We were on a coach trip where we didn't know each other and taken to a function suite which was very basic. It would have been much nicer being in the main hotel taking in the ambience of what we went for. We didn't feel there was much choice in sandwiches and there was only one of each cake on each cake stand. We had 2 stands between 8 of us. I won't return to the Mayfair.

We went to the Chesterfield for Afternoon Tea. We all had a great time. Service was very good very attentative and friendly. The Afternoon Tea had a great selection and tasty was great value for money. I went to the Savoy a couple of weeks ago and I must say the Chesterfield topped them hands down.

Had a wonderful afternoon tea. I'm Gluten Free and a pescerterian. Bread was good and so waa the fillings. Scones and cakes were very nice.
can't fault the service either.
Were 13 of us and we were looked after very well.

Apart from the afternoon tea being great quality, the dessert selection was fun. Staff were very friendly and professional. You even get a bag of your choice of sweets from the cart. Highly recommend.

We stayed for one night and all of the staff were exceptional, (Josef, Federika and Ellenora), you were fabulous and helped to make our stay during these uncertain times a most memorable and enjoyable experience!
We can't recommend this hotel highly enough, and perfectly situated for a short pleasant stroll down to the Ritz for afternoon Tea.

Wounderful place to stay, extremely attentive staff nothing is too much trouble. Bed is lush extremely comfortable and bedding of the highest quality. Only one negative / draw back is parking but then we are in the centre of a city otherwise would gladly stay here for a week.

Location is excellent but quiet, friendly efficient staff, good sized rooms with all the extras, very nicely decorated, comfortable bed and good shower.

We stayed here for one night on our honeymoon, which I told them on booking. Upon arrival we were upgraded to an amazing suite. I felt like I was in Pretty Woman! Amazing customer service, phenomenal staff, great food, words cannot express what a superb time we had. We will be returning for our 1st anniversary next year. Thank you so much for making just one night so memorable.

We visited the hotel for the sweatshop afternoon tea, it was excellent, the food was amazing and the service superb. I was a little worried about taking my 3 year old daughter but the staff were amazing with her, nothing too much trouble and she was fussed over the entire time. A lovely family friendly place. Thank-you so much to all the staff for making it a fantastic afternoon treat. I Cannot not recommend this enough xx.

Perfect place to stay when you want the benefits of a large hotel with the highly attentive and personal service of a boutique hotel. Servers in the hotel bar are extremely knowledgeable about Gin! Will definitely return — already made our reservations.

Had a lovely tea with two 12 year old boys today. A bit too sweet for my taste but we had a wonderful afternoon. Very friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help, no need to dress up super fancy and what you can't eat (you will be stuffed… but still want to continue), you can take it with you! I unfortunately lost a bet with my son who said that the "candy man" was from Texas and although I heard an American accent, he was from Texas… plus he looked like a young Randy Orton… now that's a nice candy man for the girls and the ladies! He was lovely and had a good laugh when I told him that I owed my son 5 euro… Thank you for a wonderful afternoon!

Went for afternoon tea in the butler restaurant. This was wonderful, the setting beautiful like an old sweet shop, the service was attentive and the food good and as much as you could eat. It's not cheap but this was a treat worth paying for.

Classic level of comfort and service in the Mayfair area in London. You're perfectly placed for adventures in London, whether by Underground, walking, or taxi. The concierge always has great suggestions no matter what your plans. The nearby Shepherd Market offers a couple of dozen restaurants in all cuisines, from pub food to French to fiery Indian vindaloo!

Great hotel, clean & tidy with happy / hopeful staff. Great for exploring London and seeing shows could walk everywhere we needed to go, nice to experience London that way. Food was top notch had breakfast each morning and bar was nice and cosy with a very good bar man! Would recommend to anyone visiting to see central London and shows.

Plush hotel, not too big, friendly and dedicated staff, especially James the barman. Unfortunately, a hotel of such standing should not be serving two full English breakfasts without sausages! Not sure why the large, non-adjustable shower head in the bathroom was angled in such a way, that a full strength shower unavoidably left half of the bathroom floor awash!?! Confusion from staff on the desk about our booking on arrival, confusion about my room payment on departure. Overall, not convinced that there was real value for money. The devil is in the detail! Recommend you eat and drink in the much more reasonably priced pub just a stone's throw away, The Footman. Cheers!

My go to hotel in London. It’s small and maybe slightly old fashioned, but it’s convenient in the middle of Mayfair and good value for money. The rooms have quirks, are not all the same. The suites are very peculiar, but comfortable. The beds are heavenly, I keep on getting good night sleeps in them. The staff is friendly and helpful. The room service is available 24 hours and the server is extremely friendly, no matter what time of the night. A hotel that is definitely recommended for a city trip to London.

I have stayed at the Chesterfield Mayfair a number of times and would not consider staying anywhere else in London. The rooms are charming, the cleanliness is outstanding, and the service is impeccable. In addition, the food and drink are excellent. The breakfast is substantial and of high quality, the bar is perfect for drinks or snacks, and the tea is indulgent. In addition, the location of the hotel is convenient and the staff go above and beyond to help with whatever you need. I absolutely adore this hotel.

Through the Afternoontea. UK website booked for two-person afternoon tea, service of course there is no words to say.
Introduce the meal for later reference:
1. The afternoon tea menu is all over, just choose the type of tea, of course, if you do not want tea, want to drink coffee can ask the service students.
2. The toilet is on the ground floor. 3. The lowest level sandwich taste is good, stunning, cucumber flavor can eat dessert and then come back to eat.
(Because the top desserts are super sweet)
4. Kang taste good, soft, above has sprinkled sugar powder (some other scones is solid taste) 5. Upper Dessert …
Macaron (super sweet), white egg (all white chocolate, very very very sweet), chocolate bar (do not dare to eat must be very sweet) fruit Tower Fortunately will not be too sweet (may taste at this time has been broken), citrus cupcakes above the green Icing super sweet (shaved it off) cake with chocolate sauce.
6. Tea, mixed tea taste very warm, with sugar, milk (there is a small pot of milk on the table) taste better Very recommended for a shop!

We took my mum here for her 70th birthday for afternoon tea, which was great, if you don’t have any intolerances or allergies! We pre-warned them months before what I could and couldn’t eat and they didn’t accommodate for me at all! They seemed completely unprepared and didn’t seem to know what lactose intolerance was, which I was very surprised by in a hotel of this standard. I had very dry sandwiches, with just ham or salmon etc. In, no sauce of any description. My sweets were basically just macaroons with jam in and a lemon sorbet, which was by far the best thing that was served to me! For £45 pp I was disappointed by the whole experience! Will not be returning.

Lovely place for a classic afternoon tea. At the entrance you can leave bags and overcoats and then head to the tea room next to the restaurant. The ambience is sleek and kitch at the same time. The service is courteous and the sandwiches and delicious pastries. Ah We also took the tea.

I LOVE the Chesterfield Mayfair Hotel. Whenever I go to London, I stay at this hotel. It is clean and comfortable. I love the bed linens… they are super comfy. The staff is friendly and helpful. It is located in a wonderful area and close to everything. I am from the United States and they have a representative here in the states that I call whenever I have to book a stay. It is so convenient. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

The best afternoon tea we have ever had, and we’ve done a few. The service was exceptional, the treatment was brilliant, and Lukas was an outstanding waiter. We had an absolutely lovely time, I would recommend it to everybody. Five stars. Amazing value for money; They offered to top up your sandwiches and tea frequently, and we had many free sweets and gifts. I lovely day out, and a brilliant treat!

Excellent stay at the Chesterfield. I highly recommend to enjoy the bar in the evenings. The Gin and cocktail menu is perfect with live jazz music.

A lovely 5 star hotel in the heart of Mayfair. Nice bar but reserve your table ahead as all of the guests seem to agree that it is a great place to talk. Feels more like a private gentleman's club than a hotel.

Afternoon Tea. A family party of 15 of us visited 4th March 2018 We indulged in a traditional English afternoon tea in the opulence of this most lovely Hotel. The staff could not have been more attentive & helpful. The menu appealed to all of us, the children particularly enjoying the milk shakes, whilst for the adults it was the scones that with cream & jam that hit the mark. Our visit was a most pleasant one & we most heartily recommend others to sample the delights of a tradition English afternoon Tea at The Chesterfield.

The Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed afternoon tea was really nice and good value, considering it's unlimited. Much better than other afternoon tea venues and the staff are very polite and friendly.

Wonderful afternoon tea (unlimited drinks — that is tea, coffee or hot chocolate) and food). Greatly professional and amiable staff. The facilities are a place of wonder (with elegant wooden toilet seats). Overall, a must-see for any afternoon tea lover and seeker.

Outstanding! They truly do their best to make you feel welcomed. When booking, I had mentioned it will be my wife's birthday upon our stay. Assuming it was due to this note, we received an upgraded room and have been spoiled during our stay with a complimentary drink at check-in, inclusive breakfast and exceptional service at every encounter. She even received a birthday card with staff signatures — very cute! Overall it's clear, we would happily come back!

Afternoon Tea is terrible the little Patio is ravishing the quality of the service sticks well with the place.

Rooms were the perfect size. Bed was comfy. Food was delicious. Service was good.

We had a wonderful stay. Could have stayed longer. Loved the location and the staff could not have been nicer. After a long sleepless flight they organized an early check-in so we could regroup. Had a wonderful evening at the hotel bar with great drinks, food and music. Highly recommend!

Visited for a function that I had a part in organising and was speaking at. I really like this hotel and its public spaces. In this case the meeting space (which the hotel provided free) was a perfect size, all the AV & Wi-Fi worked perfectly, and we had a staff member allocated for the event to manage drinks orders etc. Very slick!

My wife and myself stayed on the 4th floor in room 404. The view out the window is nothing much, but that's not why you one to The Chesterfield Mayfair, it for the internal beauty of the rooms. Modern facilities yet a nice British heritage atmosphere. Service has been amazing so far. We are having our first breakfast at the hotel tomorrow, which we are looking forward to.

My son escorted me to the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory themed afternoon tea on Sunday. Loved the theme. Enjoyed the food, especially the sandwich selection. We were offered more and it came quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price is fairly high, but no more than other London hotels charge for similar. Not really a tea drinker, I loved the special chocolate tea.

Well located in Mayfair. This hotel is a traditional small hotel with all the character you would expect from a hotel if this style and reputation. The staff are superb and nothing is too much. The food is amazing.

I only have "GREAT" things to say about this place. I got sick prior to arriving and they cared for me like I was family. They called a doctor and watched over me. I will definitely be coming back. Loved the room, the restaurant, the afternoon tea parties are adorable to watch all the children. Everyone was so kind. Love all the staff.

Best tea in town especially with kids! Everything was fresh, yummy and beautifully presented.

We went for my partners birthday and were taking in a show as well. We had the pre-theatre menu which was amazing. I had lobster thermidor omlette which was beautifully cooked followed by Salmon en crute. All of our food was perfect. Upon return, my partner had a birthday cake in our room and a card signed by the staff there. Chris was very helpful showing us to our room, all of the restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Letitia (the reception manager) made our stay for us. Thank you to ALL of the people working there. I almost forgot to mention the excellent smoked salmon for breakfast that was served to our room.

Perfect union of the tea of the five and the literature. On the second Saturday of the month you can enjoy poetry recited.

Fantastic Gin experience at the Chesterfield Hotel. We had our own lovely waiter called Soloman who was knowledgeable and attentive. The whole set up was very professional and classy with a pianist playing in the background. We went for the premium taster menu and weren't disappointed, all the added extras made it even more special. Solomon even organised a last minute personalised mini birthday cake for my partner. I would highly recommend this to any Gin lovers.

Quite the unique experience. A little gem in Mayfair and the perfect place to meet people for a drink or maybe something more. The Chesterfield is like a traditional smoking room or hunting lodge with lots of green walls, foliage all around, little alcoves to drink in, a fabulous bar area and a rabbit warren of corridors leading to all the rooms. To make matters even more unique their excellent staff kept on delivering bite size chunks of cheese on toast while we were having a drink — is there anything better. Slight let down, though only for some was the lack of a bitter/ale on sale so I had to make do with a lager. Other than that. Fantastic.

The room of this hotel is huge and had a very comfortableroom, the ceilings are high, and the bathroom is very clean. This is an exceptional hotel, worth for the price. All about the hotel is surely you willmark, first to the service, next to the rooms, then the amenities and the facilities. The rooms are unbelievably beautiful and the staffs treat us very carefully, whenever we needed them. I had a great day and night there.

A great hotel right in the centre of mayfair. The rooms are fairly small but very comfortable and a slate of home made cakes and a personalised welcome letter from the GM on arrival really enhanced my experience. Very reasonably priced for its position and my only complaint is that the breakfast service doesn't live up to the standard of the rest of the hotel.
