Stayed in an ensuite double room which was ok. The place was very clean and reception staff friendly. It was very hot so we had to keep the window open but because it's on a busy road the traffic noise is a nightmare!

Proper pub. Nothing fancy, but being refurbished I think. Friendly staff and good beer. Favourite pre match watering hole.

Not new, but sufficient. Very friendly staff. Everything is in clean condition.

It's currently a pub for football supporters. Mega busy on Saturday. Yes staff did well. Only one ale choice. Don't think I would use it as a local pub. But as an away supporter. Sufficient place to drink. Though whole place does need gutting out and redecorated.

Beautifull decor, classy establishment, perfect wedding venue, the woman behind the bar has a classy chest jewel. Would recommend the venue plus the woman behind the bar.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked for 2 nights and to start with got wrong room, then moved to another double room. Everything was dirty and smelly the sheets had stains and the mattress was absolutely disgusting. On the chair throw was seaman stains and also in the sheets. We had a full refund back as we didn’t spent more then 1 hr in there. We will never stay there again. Had to choose 1 star to send this review.

The hotel was okay gor its price. Very quite despite being close the the express. However, I frequently percieved cigarrete on the walkway on second floor which I did not like because of my son. The staff are respectful. It is an okay place for its price.

I love this little gem. Ive paid a lot more money to stay in some right dives around london. Yes, it's basic but clean and warm. Friendly staff, free Wi-Fi and good security. I certainly recomend this one!

Clean room and polite greeting however smell of urine downstairs, riot police attending to football supporters on our arrival. Very noisy and bed not comfortable.

Actually quite surprised for the price. If you're looking for a cheap place to stay, and you don't need to be very central then this place is ideal. The room was clean and well presented. The kitchen was a little bit of a letdown, however — there were no forks to be seen so I had to use a spoon, and most of the lightbulbs were out. Other than that, can't complain really.

Went as an away fan. Great location just across from the train station and not far from the ground. Good atmosphere. They had ran out of a large proportion of their drinks selection though.

Well, the hotel isn't perfect, but it is quite cheap, really clean, and the folks there are unbelievably helpful.

Stayed there for a week. Previously called them to making sure the room I will get have good Wi-Fi connection. And, I didn't get. I had to change my room after they had another room available. That room also had broken shower. Room service was good though.

Clean enough, fair price, nice staff. Just don't go in the pub! Hotel door is on the side.

We were greeted by a young man who was very polite and helpful.
The room was freshly decorated and bed was comfortable and clean.
However. Nowhere at all to hang any clothing.
Shower was broken so no chance of a shower following morning.
No receptionist to complain to the following morning.
Shame really.
Just don't go into the pub.

Great away pub for The Valley but if yiu you came in here outside that it is awful. Dates decor décor from 70s, dark ceiling, no chairs altho these may have been put away to pack more fans in. Service was ok despite being hundreds of fans there. Hate to think what the rooms are like if the bar is anything to go by.

I can only assume that the people who left good reviews are friends and family. First of all, when we got there we couldn't get in for 20 min because nobody was there and there were 4 other people waiting. The absolute worst 'hotel' I've ever stayed in. Bitten by bedbugs, mascara and stains on the sheets (definitly used and not washed), communal shower, noisey and hookers taking their tricks here. Anyone who said this place is clean is taking the absolute piss. I'm no princess but this place is a complete dive.

Right next to charlton station and bus stop so good transportation around area. 40 minute walk to the O2 or bus that goes right there, close to shops like Sainsbury's and M&S. Rooms are quite dated and could do with a deep clean, electric heater had lots of dust and food stuck to it so couldn't use it. Bit of a draft from windows when shut. Kettle was available but would have to use water from bathroom tap, bed was fine. Good if not spending much time there. Staff were very friendly and was able to speak to them whenever needed. All in all it was okay, would recommend for overnight or 2 night stay.

Really friendly guy who got our room, clean room, had what we wanted, no mess, really cheap and site only asked for 7 pounds upfront then 40 pounds when we arrived. Simple. Only problem was… hard to find parking spaces in London, haha! Hotel had none but what can you expect. I parked around a residential since I only stayed for one night.

Went for a quick drink after work… looks are definitely not a asset of this pub, however it was compensated by very friendly staff.

Kept up most of the night due to traffic. No double glazing No hot water in shower yet the wash basin both taps were hot water.

It's basic but clean and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not a place to take the family or for a romantic break. But for London on the cheap you can't get much better.

A rough and ready 'pub' that is stuck in the 1980s. Things have moved on!

The best thing about the place was it was full of Rovers, sadly its a dive that ran out of cider… nightmare.

Sufficient and not one inch more. It is cheap and it will remind you constantly that you did not pay a lot. The location is OK but not great, there is no breakfast, there is no elevator you'll need to carry your suitcases up the stairs, and the bed is not comfortable. Was it sufficient? Yes. Is it recommended? Only if you have to.

Great pool table San Miguel and music what more can you ask for.

Right next door to Charlton station 5 minutes bus ride to O2 and North Greenwich underground station. Pub sadly could do with a bit of a clean up and modern decor but beer was good. Don't know what the rooms are like so can't comment. Great for quest's who want to use as a base for London. Oh and minutes away by train from historical Greenwich.

Good beer good staff great atmosphere could do with a lick of paint.

My daughter my wife and myself had lunch at the Antigallican last Sunday, the food was excellent and the service excelled. We really enjoyed the experience. However, their website could be better…

Visited while going to watch football. Good atmosphere very friendly towards away fans. Would go back if in the area again.

Cheap rooms. Clean and tidy. Helpful staff. Kitchen area with cooking facilities. Only negative is the showers are very poor for water pressure.

Friendly pub who made us feel very welcome, don't be put off by the decor, beer was good and staff very efficient — nothing worse than being three deep at the bar an hour before kick-off.

Loved that there was amenities (kitchen) available to self-cater (asda & sainsburys 5-10 mins walk), also computer equipment available to use if needed.

Very clean, nice staff, large, spacious dorms. If you don't mind the non-centre location, it's the perfect. Real value for money.

This hostel saved my ass from being homeless for several nights, fixed price for dorm beds is the thing.

Excellent place. Nice and comfortable rooms with access to a shared and well equipped kitchen. Close to public transportation, so easy to get to London center.

I have no problem staying at this hotel. I travelled alone so I have enough of space and room for myself. With the rate I paid, I am happy with it.

It's true what they say, you only get what you pay for! I wish I had paid double the amount for the Holiday Inn Express just up the road. As soon as you walk into the reception area, you get the feeling that this isn't going to be a pleasant stay, a concern voiced by my wife even at that point. First of all, in order to get your room key, either a £20 deposit (in cash! ), or something showing your identity has to be passed over. As for the room itself? Let's just say that my wife threatened me with a divorce! The wallpaper was bubbling due to what I can only assume was mould growing underneath. Upon entering the room, we were met by a strong mouldy smell. For some reason, we had what looked like an air duct running from the ceiling up to a roof window full of dust and cobwebs, although if you want to wake up at the very dawn of the day, then the light will certainly help you wake up! I thought that nothing else could let down our stay, but so be it, there was no hot water for the shower. Bummer! Luckily we met up with some friends for a few hours so didn't have to stay in the room for a minute longer than we had to, however, if you want an early night, then you best invest in some earplugs as the pub is open until the early hours of the morning. We returned just after midnight and luckily the music had been turned off, but even in the afternoon it was certainly loud enough for us to hear in our room.

Unitially I felt the service from The Antigallican was going to be excellent for the price but unfortunately that was not to be. After being dealt with extremely well at reservation and booking in stage with very pleasant staff probelms arose with what I can only describe as a payment method that is at best slap dash at worst puts your credit card security at risk. A member of staff confirmed my credit card had been debited for the outstanding balance but 24 hours later I was being asked by phone to pay again, One staff member who describes himself as the manager Chris was extremely condescending and abusive to the point I had to phone the police for support and his attempts at apology barely hidden sarcasm. He is going to make sure he gets his point over and treat you in a sneering and condescending manner as much as he possibly can! We didnt reach a resolution because I had to cancel my credit and debit card leaving me no option but to pay by cheque which has been sent to them. The Antigallican really needs to get their act together people will not be happy with this type of treatment and Chris you really need to get some training for somebody who is operating in hospitality sector your attiitude stinks.
