Friendly reception. Easy check in. Large room that was sparkling clean and fresh. Fantastic location.
I recently messaged to ask about changing my dates due to Covid-19, only to be told that there would be a £25 admin fee, and if there was an increase in price, they would reduce the difference in cost by 10-20%. I have had to reschedule a number of things because of the current situation, and so far, companies/agents have been brilliant. They have moved bookings without extra charge, and offered refunds as an option — no questions asked. So why is this Hotel any different? I did receive a message from the Manager who talked about their high business rates and energy bills etc… I’m sorry, but as a future guest, I do not need to know about these things. I think it was very unprofessional. A lot of businesses are struggling at the moment, but the ones I’ve contacted have responded remarkably better than this one. I have since cancelled my booking and will book elsewhere for next year.
