Nice staff here, very helpful, bedroom and en suite bathroom very small, breakfast very basic with no sausage, but ok, also be aware that there is parking outside hotel, they charge £25 a night for this.

It is cleaned every day and there are fresh towels. There are for breakfast bacon, egg, mushrooms, beans, tomato toast all made fresh, cereal, jam butter. Nice people who make an effort. Clean and good but always the same. The reception is 24 hours.
The structural condition of the hotel is definitely not a German standard.
The street in front of the door is noisy.

Awful. Never stay here. Rooms are filthy! Walls and curtains covered in mold, the pole that holds the curtain up is falling off, bathroom is tiny can hardly move, bed sheets dirty, stained and got other people's hairs inside of the pillow case, carpets filthy, bedroom window broken reported it but nothing got done, no air conditioning, no lift stairs are very steep. They ask you if you want a full English in the morning but only get beans bacon toast, mushrooms and 1 little tinned tomatoe. Staff are not helpful at all! Disgraceful!

Piccolissima camera, ma molto pulita, silenziosa ed ordinata. Un asciugamano in più ed una colazione (inclusa) più abbondante sarebbero stati graditi.

Cosy and clean, TV with loads of channels in room, en suite, kettle etc. Really good full breakfast. Great value for a London hotel.

Unfortunately the structure is not equipped with a lift, so if the room is assigned to the upper floors it becomes difficult to bring our suitcases. This is a small hotel in a purely British style in which the rooms and its bathrooms are small. The structure is well maintained and clean. Breakfast is done in the basement and you can choose from the typical British is the continental. The staff is really nice and friendly. The area is quiet.

Single room practically in the attic and no elevator. Small bathroom and closet non existent. Mousetrap under the bed. Avoid.

I do not recommend at all, welcome very unpleasant, room vetus.

We stayed there for six nights in February. We had read the opinions a little late and suddenly we expected the worst. We had room 6. Actually the hotel is dilapidated. The carpet not really clean but the bathroom pretty clean. No bad smell like some had been able to meet nor bed fleas phew! The beds were quite comfortable the clean linens and the warm duvets. On the other hand we had booked an extra bed for our daughter and it took 2 days and 3 different employees as well as the help of booking to be given to us. My children shared a 1-seater bed for the first 2 unacceptable nights! Otherwise the hotel is really well placed. Station at 5 min restaurants and pub very good in the street next door, supermarket, souvenirs, bus etc… The street is a bit noisy and the simple glazing does not help quiet but we were so tired that it did not stop us from sleeping. The breakfast is plentiful and the service very friendly the young person who takes care of it is adorable. On the other hand the room is small and you have to be there before 9am to be sure not to wait for a place to free itself. In the whole we are satisfied with our stay. This is not a great comfort hotel but it will have sufficed.

The room was very clean. But the attention of the waiters and some very good receptionist.

Comfortable clean and the staff is very friendly modest prices.

Great location for Hyde Park, room was nice and clean, fresh and warm. The receptionists were a bit sad faced though no warm welcome even spoke between them that we had to pay for the room when we already paid online. But it's London so you'll hardly get service with a smile. If you need somewhere to stay without the bells and whistles then this is your place.

Recently visited The Springfield Hotel, London. Upon booking this hotel I was aware that this was a budget establishment and had very low expectations; despite my low expectations, I was still shocked at the service, and the condition of the premises, during my stay. The hotel staff – incorrectly — checked me into a double room rather than a single room (which I had paid for. ) However, none of the staff requested I changed room. Instead of asking me, the hotel staff repeatedly (especially during the night) kept turning off the fuse for the electricity to my room. I reported this MANY times to the hotel staff. Strangely, this only happened when the hotel staff knew that I was not in my room (as you must leave your room key with reception when exiting the premises) or during the early hours of the morning, according to my phone which is able to show the times of charging. When leaving the hotel, I ensured that all the lights and plug sockets were turned off to ensure that this would not happen. I also spoke to other guests at the hotel who had assured me that this had not happened to them in their rooms. During my three nights stay, I did spend some time in the hotel room watching the TV, charging my phone, and had the lights on. Whilst using all of this electricity the fuse did not blow once when I was awake or in the room (again, strangely. ) I did also find that the room, and overall hotel, had some serious health and safety problems.

Do not stay here! When we first came in the floor was dirty (not hoovered) there was tea dropped on the side tables and it was just really unprofessional and not what u expect after you pay £165 for 2 nights. The breakfast is normal. Nothing special. Staff are quite rude especially the two Chinese people the younger boy and lady. If you are looking for a good hotel with a good price book Henry VII in W2. Don’t come here it will ruin your stay.

The rooms are small and the decoration looks like it is falling apart, it had the feeling of a dorm room rather then a hotel. The ensuite was extremely small, it had a toilet and shower but was barely wide enough to move in. The hotel booking stated limited parking, by that they meant 2 parking spaces out front of the hotel. On a plus note the location is excellent, it is a 2 minute walk from Paddington station and there are several restaurants nearby.

Absolutely awful. We booked a 4 bed hotel, and it ended up at a double bed and a bunk bed. To fit 5 of us? It was also more expensive than what it said online when we booked, which was quite annoying and a shock. The room was tiny, the ensuite was disgusting. The shower drain was blocked within the first 2 minutes of a shower, and the toilet flush was awful if it worked. It was cramped. The breakfast was horrible, apart from the toast. However, I like my toast hardly cooked and it was like warm bread, which wasn’t enjoyed by the rest of my group. The plates and cutlery was dirty too. Everywhere was cramped and rushed. They did have free Wi-Fi however, making me able to watch the rest of love island before it got taken off the itv hub, thanks.

Hi, so I've posted a revie about Springfield hotel already about my stay however I'd just like to add some very important information so that you guys know never to go there. I was staying there last week for 4 days. I had left my Michael Kors bag in a draw along with 250 euros as well as my personal data license etc. I remembered today as its my birthday and I wanted to put some of my birthday money into my purse. My mom called Springfield hotel and they said yes they found the bag but they threw it away because they thought it was rubbish. That is completely a lie because who the hell throws away a genuine leather bag with money inside and personal belongings. The receptionist then got rude when my mom said she's reporting it to the police and he hung up the phone. So I reported it to the metropolitan police and they said its wrong as the hotel has my details and knew it was valuable stuff and should have contacted me. So police are now investigating. I then emailed the hotel telling the manager to call. He called my mom and basically didn't care at all and was shouting and told us we are not welcome there again. Total utter disgrace and can't believe there are such indecent people in this world. My moms designer sunglasses that I bought here for Christmas was also stolen. Disgusting people and disgusting staff and a disgusting hotel. Never recommend it to anyone& they are now known in so many people's eyes especially mine as a place of theft.

In the heart of London, the reception is family-friendly, although some renovations could improve the stay. The price is affordable.

Located near Hyde Park, very central, two minutes from nearest underground station, and generally a very nice neighborhood to stay in. Rooms were alright — nothing fancy, but if you're only here for a few days and plan on spending most of your time outside of the hotel room it is a good place to stay. The staff was very kind and helpful!

The reception staff were polite and helpful and the location of the Hotel is very convenient. However cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms need to be improved. This hotel is reminiscent of accommodation on offer in London in the 1960s which is a shame given that it is in a beautiful building on an attractive square. The bathroom had not been cleaned and the carpet not vacuumed. For the price you don't expect luxury but you do expect cleanliness and a properly maintained building.

Little space in room, you cannot walk through pathway with any bags or suitcases. The cold water tap doesn't work and central heating either. Rain leaked from the ceiling. The safe exit were full of garbage. Beds were so terrible, they just put several box under the bed and there are horrible bedbugs on the beds which is the worst! All the people in room suffered from bedbugs every night. The itch bits by bugs you cannot stop scratch it and it causes rash! Moreover, I do doubt why their score for breakfast is so high and most of high scores they got are not commented. Believe me, you don't want to stay in this hotel, it’s totally a mess, this hotel will ruin your journey.

I don't know where to start? But I will start with the Bro. Very convenient location & great price including breakfast. Front desk staff are amazing. Now the cons if you are on budget and don't care about luxury so this is the place for you.

L'Hotel è in una buona posizione, ben collegato con tutte le zone di Londra. Le stanze sono piccole ma accoglienti, la colazione all'inglese è abbondante e buona.

Accogliente, la moquette è un po' impolverata, ma per la media inglese è abbastanza pulita. La colazione è buona e abbondante e il personale molto disponibile e gentile. È stata una buona permanenza.

My wife, myself and our 2 daughters arrived to check in, only to be met by the rudest, and most confrontational jerk we have ever experienced behind a desk of any kind… didn't get his name (I took my family and our luggage, and went next door to the Days Inn the instant that this person began arguing with and belittling my wife because we'd requested a room for 4 people). She'd booked there online, and he had our details on the system, but, for some reason he was deliberately being rude and confrontational from the first sentence! Maybe he didn't want to honor the booking, but BEWARE… this guy acted like he hated us as soon as we showed our faces!

I had seen the hotel on-line, it looked OK, price was good, so in Nov 2014 I booked it for 20 nights to be used between 5 coach tours over a 3.5 month time frame. On 21 July 2015 I arrived and was shown my "room". I had a look around the "room" and the adjoining bathroom, left to go get some food closeby, and on my return to the Hotel, enquired at another Hotel 2 doors down, if they had vacancies, and if so, could I check out the room etc. This new Hotel could accommodate me for all the days I required, and above all was spotlessly clean, and the 20 pound per night extra was a small price to pay to sleep in a clean bed, and use a clean bathroom. I have done a bit of travelling, and have never ever seen such a filthy hotel. The entire place was filthy. There was no way I could have slept in the bed, scared of what I may catch, let alone use the WC. Another case of someone buying a Hotel in London as an investment, running it down, and 4 or 5 years later making a huge huge profit. No care at all for the customers, they are just cash cows. If you care for your health, do not stay at the Springfield Hotel, Sussex Gardens, Paddington, London.

Apart from the location of the hotel itself, which depends on what you want to do during the stay, rest of the things about this hotel is very disappointing. Starting with accommodating a child in a double room, which is ridiculously small for even 2 adults, eventually they did putting a small bed, they had different name and reservation number in their system, extra charges for parking (of course in London nothing is free!, but is even honesty not free), English breakfast, but veg was not good. The dining area is too small. Not a single electric fan or ventilation in the room, keeping the window open so much of traffic noise and whole night it was loud, couldn't sleep well, dungey room, smallest bathroom in my stay ever, bad shower pipe, smelly cupboard. I would never select this hotel in future.

Our stay was very nice. Very attentive staff, the receptionist speaks Spanish and serves you well. English breakfasts are typical. Although it would be nice some fruit or pastries. The hotel's location is very central. Our room had a broken toilet partition. My rating. Quality, service, price is: 7.
