Lucian The concierge during the day made my stay so pleasant I couldn't recommend it enough. He helped me secure private driver gave me information on where to go to see the sights and buy souvenirs just a wonderful person. I wish him much luck in his future endeavours and new home construction. Just a wonderful place to stay period highly recommend.

Checking out today and wish we could stay longer! What a lovely hotel. More importantly what wonderfully attentive and customer focused staff. So friendly and helpful. Our room great. The location perfect for getting around. The building and amenities all you could ask for! Breakfast worth the pennies. Once again thank you for making our anniversary/Mother’s Day visit a hit!

This hotel has a superb location. After that I have nothing positive to say. The hotel took an extra payment on my card even though I paid in cash. I was left heavily out of pocket on a trip with my daughter and offered no assistance from the hotel. Avoid this hotel.

The room was too small, wall paper old and the towels weren't always good. I had to request for a new set. Reception staff could be friendlier. The breakfast was very good. There's a phone in the room for free local and international calls and internet that you can take out so you don't need to buy a new SIM card.

Rooms are ridiculously small and very old. I arrived early in the morning at 1000, but room wasnt ready till 1515. They don't provide drinkable bottled water in the room, sells you a small bottle, each would cost you 2pounds. Very limited parking. No free breakfast. The worst part is the bed. It sinks so low in the middle, makes me wonder how old the bed was. Would not recommend, will never come back.

Nice location, walkable from Paddington station. Courteous staff. Rooms are very small, only a feet or so around the bed is all that is available to move. No space to even open your suitcase too, had to open it only on the bed. Breakfast was fine. Try and avoid 7th floor if you have heavy luggage, as the lift operates only up to 6th floor.

Not a four star hotel by any stretch of imagination. Air conditioning didn't work, but window was open when I arrived so they knew. Uncomfortable and tiny. Wouldn't stay here by choice again.

Good location, easily walkable to Paddington station and public transportation. 10 min. Walk to wharf area and Hyde Park. No other close attraction s. Nice room, even on top floor. Only drawback is the multiple stair levels and massive, heavy firedoors. Not for the weak.

Room was absolutely tiny. Barely enough room to get changed which is frustrating when you're in London for a smart event. My colleague's room was at least three times bigger for the same price so if you have to stay there ask for one of the larger rooms (or try asking for a room with a bathtub). Hated my stay due to the size of the room but it was at least clean.

The hotel is in a nice area of the city. A few blocks to Hyde Park and through the park you can reach the palace and Oxford Street, and there are further attractions nearby.
Clean, the room has a kettle and every day biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar. Towels were changed every day. Cleaning every day.

The hotel location is wonderful not far from Tube station and Tesco Express. Well furnished but very small rooms. Friendly staff.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Close to Paddington Station (5min walk). We stayed 2 separate times and the rooms varied greatly in size. Clean and tidy, a safe choice but nothing over the top.

This is not worth 4 stars especially QD reserve on booking a double of luxury which finally becomes a double with a bed of 140… tiny room no hair dryer and not even enough to put his clothes in the bathroom. Only positive: his situation.

Very nice staff! Hotel was very clean. A gentleman called Sarkaj was great with us helped us with getting around London. He even upgraded our room. The location is decent underground station near by overall the service from the staff especially Sarkaj turned into a 5 star experience!

Lovely hotel. Perfect for a couple nights in London. Great hospitality. The gentleman who worked there, Demetri, was the highlight, great company in the bar and so helpful for every request we had.

Nice hotel. Room was fine and I had a great night's sleep. Using the lift can be a little frustrating in the morning. But overall I definitely recommend.

It's ok, just expected more given the trading of the place. It's clean, comfortable, but not well proportioned. You catch the TV on the wall every time you walk past the bed… Would give it another star if I were smaller or there had been a couple more inches of space.

Room Small but good location.

Rooms are a little small but very clean. We give you a smartphone for your ballads in London with unlimited call! Great Staff But you can't sleep after 6:00 when your neighbors get up to get on a plane. On the 6th the rooms are absolutely not soundproof. Really bad.

We have stayed at this hotel for several years, and we like it very much. Comfy rooms, tasty breakfast and nice reception. But this time we became very unpleasant by a man at the front desk. He questioned why we had requested a twin room. He asked me if I was the mother of the family. Although I was there with my husband. I became very hurt and said: No I am not, do I look 80 years old? When I have walked up into my room, the man asked asked my husband ifwe were good friends. When my husband told him I was his wife, he was very surprised. He asked: Why have you ordered a twin room then? Is that really his business? But the other people in the reception were very nice to us.

Very nice Hotel and very conveniently located close to Paddington train station, where you can get direct from Heathrow Airport via Heathrow Express.

This isn't decadence, but it's inexpensive and a good choice for a single traveler. I like small and cozy, so take that for what it's worth. The little things mean more than huge elegant rooms. Like the free loaner mobile phone. It's an Android with free local and international calls that can go with you in the tube and help you find the shops your looking for. If you're considering using airbnb, give this place a shot. I spent four nights at airbnb spots this week after having my original "one location for the first four days" cancel on me the day of my flight. Those problems don't happen here. Two snaps and a circle from me!

A basement room (! ) for 275 euro. Once and never again.

Bijou rooms, odd bar, but otherwise a comfortable and clean place. The reception staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast staff we're a little brusque but not brisk. Good buffet was worth it. If you get a room high up and facing the street then it's a guilty pleasure to people watch across the rooftops and see the little roof gardens and terraces in a lovely area.

Very small rooms. Basic facilities. You can sit on the toilet and wash your face at the same time. Rooms have odd things like the tiniest glasses that hold about four mouthfuls of water. Staff are welcoming and friendly. Decent location close to Paddington station.

The rooms are clean if on the small side. The fridge in the room didn't work but there was a nice surprise, a mobile phone for use when out and about. Breakfast was fine, a buffet with full English or continental. On the whole it was pricey considering the facilities.

Nice hotel, little bit pricey but everything is in London… We appreciate the luggage carrying. Double check your invoice because they charged us more "by mistake"…

Really clean and welcoming. Cute. Easy coming in and out of Paddington.

Worst hotel ever. Room is so small you can't move around. Had to climb over bed go to toilet. No Iron in room and when I got one had to sit on bed to iron as no room. Horrible musty smell in room that gets worse as my room was near the kitchen and all the cooking smells find there way in. Overall horrendous experience.

For $350 we were given a room in the basement that hardly fit the double bed. I am not exaggerating. You could not walk around the bed. It's close to Paddington though.

Staff was absolutely wonderful and service was like 5 star hotel. Yes rooms are bit on smaller size and first room given to us was a disappointment but one phone call to reception sorted everything to our pleasure. Thank you.

Hotel is quite basic but has everything you will need. Very clean with awesome staff. Room was a little on the small side.

(updated) The staff is friendly, but with so many hotels in London, there are nicer places to stay at comparable rates. Room 112 needs a makeover. I booked a deluxe single room, and the photos look nothing like the room. The room was smaller than an NYC hotel room; it had a single bed, tiny shower, and an air conditioner that rattled. There were also stains on the walls and ceiling.

Had an amazing experience from start to finish! Booked for its location, greeted by friendly helpful reception staff, said we were staying for my friends birthday and was upgraded to better room free of charge, a lovely touch that was much appreciated, arrived back at the hotel at 1am was very peckish and just wanted some toast from room service they kindly obliged and brought it to the room and gave it to us as complimentary, the breakfast was delicious with loads of choices and wonderful service, also a courtesy call after we checked in to the room was also a lovely touch, an all round great stay would definitely recommend!

The hotel staff is very friendly and accomodating. The food isn't anything to write home about but that's definitely not a huge issue. The rooms are slightly smaller than pictures online may lead you to believe, but they are still comfortable. The lack of a real barrier between sleeping areas can be an issue for anyone who travels with a snorer.

Great value for money, located 5 mins walk from Paddington Station. Very friendly staff, small but very comfortable rooms, very good beds with quiet nights sleep. Good quality breakfast, with decent bacon and sausages.

Great staff, but the hotel is not a 4 Star. Tiny rooms, no elevator to our floor. A twin room that cannot fit two single beds unless they are pushed together. No minibar and very basic. Too expensive for what it is.

Good location, 2 walk from hyde park, breakfast plentiful but if you arrive late you risk not finding all, rooms very small but cute, reasonably comfortable, good price/quality mattresses.

Hotel was conveniently located and the room was adequate but a bit small. For a good deal on the room but £20/night for parking was way too steep considering it was just parking on their property out front. Last night there I got back around 2140 and tried to go to the restaurant at about 2145 but was told by someone in the restaurant they were closed yet officially they don't close until 2200. Ended up having my dinner in my room thanks to the front desk staff and the evening doorman.

They try hard and they're in a good location, but for me the bed is way too soft and has left me with back and shoulder pain after two nights of very disrupted sleep, even discounting the influence of the compressor or whatever it is outside the window. Very glad I'm sleeping in my own bed again tonight. Put a decent bed in the room and there'd only be the matter of the incredibly tiny bathroom, where the hand basin is an intrusion that one has to work around rather than being a useful part of the fixtures. As usual for a hotel room there is no explanation anywhere of the myriad of mysterious light switches, three of which seem to have some sort of relationship I don't understand — at any given time, one of them didn't do anything. Advertising said Satellite TV but it's clearly just Freeview. Wifi provided is remarkably good. Fit and finish just isn't up to it. Corridor fittings and windows particularly need replacing.

Not bad for the price, and for London. The room was clean, and the breakfast was very good (they had French pressed coffee which always wins points with me). However, a few drawbacks: the hallways, room, and bathroom were all TINY. Almost enough to give us claustrophobia. When you sit down on the toilet, one of the washstand legs is between your knees, literally. That's how compact it is. Also, we called for an iron and ironing board at one point and they said they would send it up, but never did. Still, on the whole, for London accommodations that won't break the bank, this was satisfactory.

For the price, especially in this location, you really couldn't ask for more. The rooms are well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the staff are excellent. Without the staff, I would give this place 4 stars, however they really do go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable.

The hotel is really small, the room and the shower as well. Not worth the price! It Is a bit of a long walk with luggages from paddington station but perfectly without. Staff is very kind suggest not to buy tickets for any attraction at the hotel reception. Allowed us to do a check out at13:30. 2.5 stars top…

I am staying here since 18 july and would be flying back to India on 25 july. Hotel is well located near to 2 stations within 10 min walk. Rooms are good and English breakfast is good as well. The staff is very good and am more impressed with hospitality of one Mr. Sakar. He takes good care of the guests by knowing their requirements. I would certainly return to this hotel next time as well and hope Mr. Sakar continues here along with his excellent service.

Dont expect your confirmation to be honoured. After 12 hours of travelling I turned up at 10pm only to be told my reservation had been given away due to my card details being invalid. These are card details that were accepted on booking and followed with a confirmation. They emailed me and gave me only a couple of hours to give me new details. I was flying to the UK at this point and didn't notice the email until I arrived late at the hotel. Staff couldn't find me another room and weren't very sympathetic. There was nothing wrong with the bank details, they must have been overbooked. I had to find a room in London at 10.30 and they did nothing to help me do this. Avoid.

Located in the central area and it's beautiful.

I booked here on their website and they transferred me across the street. Into a room that is just as big as the bed. Not to mention don't let them change the rate to USD cause they will charge you a 3.5% fee. Not impressed. This place so far is horrible.

The hotel itself was lovely, and the staff were professional and attentive. Four not five stars because the website advertised free breakfast clearly but we had to argue right up to the manager of the hotel chain to actually get this. Everyone was very unwilling to actually sort that out.

I had to stay in London on business for three nights so found and booked this hotel online. From the moment I walked in I was politely greeted and upgraded without asking. The room itself was tight for space, but everything was just right. Clean and had recently been painted as I could smell it. The bathroom was spotlessly clean and the fixtures and fitting looked new also (Grohe fittings). As I booked with them directly I received a free breakfast each day which was very nice albeit pretty straightforward choices. I'd return here again with my partner to explore London in more depth. There are plenty of places to eat and drink nearby.

This hotel was a nice change for a while. Most of the hotels in this area are pretty crappy but this one has nices, clean rooms.
