We just spend 4 nights at this wonderful hotel and had an amazing stay, it's a 5 star hotel indeed but it feels so warm and welcoming, almost a home away from home. We will definitely be back, miss it and the friendly staff already!

Excellent service. Unfortunately broke my wrist on day of arrival whilst shopping. The staff were so kind providing extra pillows to rest my arm and a tray of herbal teas and biscuits plus extra water. Room was nice with views of Kensington palace. Breakfast was good but some of the furniture could do with a bit of updating in breakfast room. Special thanks to kind reception staff.

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Nice rooms. Only problem is the shower in bathroom. Its so small I could not fit in and shut the door.

The bar service was courteous and all staff were extremely polite and helpful.

My favourite Kensington restaurant!

Just a few steps away from Kensington Park. We had a lovely stay here and the bar upstairs was very nice. The morning breakfast was perfect with tons of choices and the restaurant inside was decent. I loved the bath tub and the view from the room. There's a connected high end asian restaurant as well though we didn't try that. Would stay again!

Went for afternoon tea here, the service was incredible. Vast array of teas, the staff are very knowledgeable about the menu and thoroughly explained every component. My husband dropped his tea everywhere and the staff managed to reseat us immediately. Highly recommend this to everyone, best afternoon tea we have ever had. 10/10 would go again.

Nice hotel in a plush part of London. Our room wasn't ready until 3pm, there was a large influx of guests attending a wedding & it would appear we were just shoved to the back of the queue. In fairness to the reception team they made us a coffee you are we waited and service after this was generally very good but when you consider the cost of the room per night, you would expect nothing less. The standards of the rooms are excellent.

Great hotel with views of Kensington Gardens. Great location if you like Kensington and close to the underground. Service was friendly and attentive. Bed was comfortable and the pillows soft. Spacious rooms. Very modern. We're here for second time. Just can't beat the tranquil view after the hustle and bustle of the city. Like an oasis. And morning walks in the park are really nice. Almost nowt about!

Staff are great and it’s a lovely hotel. However I wouldn’t say it’s 5 star — standard rooms were small, though nice and comfortable. Room service wasn’t particularly good value for money and arrived to us lukewarm. And the bathroom things like shampoo weren’t the best. But otherwise a great stay and the staff really were good and very helpful.

Wonderful hotel. Staff are very attentive and nothing seems to be too much hassle. Food is very good in the restaurant, with desert looking like a work of art. The rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, with feather pillows. Highly recommended and will definitely stay here again.

Everything was perfect the waiter and waitresses are very polite and they always look after the guest so well the manager too was ever so good well done.

From the moment we walked through the revolving door we received outstanding customer service. Every member of staff we met was extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. Maria on reception deserves special mention as she rearranged our room reservations so that we could be close to relatives who were staying at the same time. The rooms are very well appointed and we had a wonderful view over Kensington Gardens. It was my wife's birthday on the day we checked out and the staff in the restaurant brought out a lovely surprise platter for her at breakfast.
This is definitely the place to stay when visiting London.

Brilliant experience, the staff were excellent and accomodated our every need. Had a garden facing room with a beautiful view. Unfortunately our kettle was broken (swiftly replaced by staff) and there were minor details that prevented it from being a 5star review but on the whole would definitely recommend and would stay there again.

In general well. But the tub came out a cockroach giant. I don't think q is right, and less on a 4 star hotel. Don't come back.

The rooms are fantastic, the room service was amazing and breakfast was also absolutely delicious. The staff are all very helpful and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I had an issue with my room during my stay but it was dealt with is less than an hour. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying in this hotel.

Bad communication via Metro. Good with the bus lines. The worst thing is that we had an exhibition cockroach lodged in the bathtub… that was coming and going at will. I won't be back any more.

Spacious rooms with a good location close to some of the main points of interest the room itself was basic however was adequate for our short stay. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly giving us a warm welcome into the property. Overall a lovely stay.

Went there for a conference & network. Very clean and professional atmosphere. Conference room was okay. Snacks provided by the hotel were decent, and staff were friendly. Location is convenient.

The best and only place to stay in London. We absolutely adore this hotel. It feels like coming home. Despite being the largest independently owned five star hotel in London it feels so welcoming. The staff are amazing especially Joseph and nothing is too much trouble. Children are made a fuss of and everyone is treated as special. The hotel is in an awesome location with High Street Ken right outside the door. There are amazing views over Kensington Gardens especially if you have a ‘Garden Room’ and views from the awesome restaurant on the 10th floor are stunning. Parking underneath the hotel is a total bargain and a real bonus for those who want to drive in and out of London plus you are not within the congestion charge zone. We will never stay anywhere else.

We had afternoon tea with our 4 year old daughter and my infant soon. While the ambiance was soothing (great live piano music) and quiet it felt like kids were not something they wanted there. I should mention they were absolutely never rude and provided a high chair and an activity pack. Just seems like maybe that's not their preference. Sandwiches were delicious and the cakes were beautiful. The scones were not to my taste but I'm by no means an expert. Did take quite a while to get our check but I suspect we ended our meal around when the restaurant was transitioning to a different kind of service. For a quiet tea with a decent people-watching view of the park I'd definitely recommend it.

We were three, and had booked two rooms. A single room and a double room. The double room was the hammer. Almost on the top floor, great view, big and spacious. The single room was very small and unfortunately with a view of the "courtyard". The morning buffet is versatile, fresh and you can also add individual wishes. The hotel still has a Chinese restaurant. This also has a brilliant view over London, is very nicely decorated and the food was outstanding. In general, we can recommend the hotel to anyone. We will check in again the next time we visit.

Very nice location, being near the royal residents and all. Staff were very helpful and had everything I requested. Very clean and not much noise I heard which is always a plus considering the number of people in the hotel. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are in need of a place to stay in Kensington.

I was here for a corporate Christmas party event in December and was quite impressed by the quality of the event. Level of service was very good and the food, especially the Welsh lamb, was excellent. The hotel room was very good, however I did seem to have a room for disabled guests, which I wasn't informed of. Overall, an excellent stay.

The best hotel in London! I can never fault the Royal Garden — it has been a favourite for over 50 years! Guaranteed good service — they retain their staff for many years which is most unusual in the industry — that in itself is an indicator of a good employer which then reflects in the care you receive from the staff. Excellent cuisine — attention to detail if you book a special occasion or you’ve a business conference. I will be back soon!

Has to be the best bedroom I’ve ever stayed in! The most massive bed with duck down pillows and the view of Kensington park from our 6th floor window was magnificent!
Reception staff were friendly professional and helpful and the spicy Bloody Mary I had in Bertie’s bar was the best I’ve ever tasted… would definitely recommend this hotel… it was also a 5 min walk to the Royal Albert Hall which we attended for the remembrance service.

A great hotel, I have come to a conference as a speaker and I have also stayed there. The service is great and the rooms and spaces very adequate. Above all, a most attentive service. Very good location next to Hyde Park and Kengsinton Palace.

Beautiful hotel, very comfortble, amazing breakfast (watched a squirrel running along the Gardens’ wall from the restaurant window! ) and fabulous food in a relaxed atmosphere in the evening. Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing to much trouble.
The view across Kensington Gardens was beautiful, watched fireworks in comfort on Saturday night! We were attending an event at Olympia, so very handy and a welcome leg-stretch of a walk back to the bar to enjoy watching (and sampling! ) the ‘tailor-made’ cocktails being prepared by very smart and helpful staff.
Super clean and an oasis of calm in central London. I’d thoroughly recommend the Royal Garden Hotel, could easily have stayed longer an would hope to be a guest there again!

The hotel itself is ok, staff quite friendly. But breakfast should be avoided. Too expensive (25! Pound), too bad (scrambled eggs watery and not finished, rather raw, Bacon is a salt mine, the remaining warm dishes more or less inedible. The cold section was ok, fruits fresh but not the most awesome quality (strawberries very sour, grapes too) Good sausage selection and many cereals.
The rooms are usually quite small but neatly equipped and quite clean. Bath with tub and very clean.
Conclusion: The hotel is very centrally located, many in footreach but the bad breakfast, which I found better in 2 — and 3-star houses makes the Royal Garden Hotel a no-go.

Good location Rooms a little small.

Was only there for a short spell for a formal event. The place was clean, well decorated and a very nice venue. The staff were friendly though the wait staff didn't seem to be very experienced as they kept getting things wrong.

A brilliant place, go there every time I go to London. The food is incredible and everything is so clean! Even though it costs less, it's better than the Lanesborough by a mile. — mostly because of the food, but hey, it's still better!

This is an amazing hotel with amazing staff. We have been so well taken care of while we stayed there. The room was big, bright and we had an amazing view on Kensington Palace. The bed is very comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. Will definitely go back there and strongly recommend it to people.

Friendly staff and a well appointed hotel in a lovely location. Large family room, but no separate sleeping areas for adults and children. Activity backpack for the children was a nice touch.

Subjected to casual racism upon entering the building and confirming that I was a part of a wedding party. "Kamal" seemed to hear what he wanted to — retorting with a query about me working for the wedding party. Having flown over for the ceremony, I'm sure most will understand this is not something you wish to have to put up with first thing, the day of a wedding. 1 star for the experience unfortunately.

We had afternoon tea for a hen party. The table was booked for three hours and we were reminded of that after two and a half. The service was very slow so we didn't even finish our cakes. There were also several birthdays and each time they brought out cake, they played the birthday song. Amusing the first time, not so much the fifth time! The food was nice though.

We had a great stay here. The location is premium and gives great access to one of the best parts of London to visit, near tube services. Rooms are comfortable and of a good quality. This is not quite up there with the 5 star reception you can find in say Shanghai etc but it's perfectly pleasant and the location is the real draw. Service was great — everyone was universally helpful and nice. No complaints on that front.

5* luxury at it's best. This elegant hotel in the middle of Kensington offers comfortable rooms with all amenities. The dining facilities are bright and spacious. The food is delicious with nothing being too much trouble. Breakfast is pricey at £25, but it can be guaranteed that you won't go hungry — a choice of traditional English breakfast or Continental or a bit of both, with choice of cereals, breads and fruit readily available. Worth giving yourself a treat.

Great hotel with helpful and friendly staff, unique Neo the room for 4 people has a large double bed and a sofa bed from a square and half quite uncomfortable, for this 4 star and not 5. For the rest everything OK including the great location.

Brilliant for a budget hotel in London. Clean, nicely appointed, great location. You may have to check in at Phoenix next door. Breakfast and bar available there too. Free Wi-Fi, toiletries, hair dryer, good TV, reading light, sockets, kettle, good bed. Much better than others in this price class.

Recently refurbished, very clean rooms. Basic hotel services at a bargain for London standards.

The food was good at the restaurant (Park Terrace) but the portions were quite small — I was still relatively hungry after a 3-course meal. The location was easy to find and close to a tube station and many black cabs pass on that road, even at night.

We had a lovely evening at a function here recently. The food was very good and the service impeccable. Parking at the NCP attached was expensive but usual for central London.

Had traditional afternoon tea here. Its pricey but the tea/food was good and the staff was nice. Just expect to pay for it!

The hotel was in a wonderful location, close to bus stops and an Underground station. Great views from the restaurant on the 10th floor overlook Hyde Park and offer wonderful skylines of the city in the distance. I think it was worth the slightly higher price over some offerings for the location of this hotel, and I was pleased with the look and the style of the room, modern, but comfortable. The bed was one of the more comfortable ones during my stay in England and Ireland.

By far the best hotel I've stayed in! The atmosphere was top notch without the usual stuffiness expected from a 5 star hotel. The room was wonderful, view over the park was stunning. A wonderful hotel that we will be staying with again as our first choice London hotel from here on in.

Is in a privileged location, London, modern and contemporary yal same time with solera.

At first you can see elegant designs especially on the lobby. But inside our room has too many mosquitoes. U can't count on them. And also bad service one morning (8 am) we decided to go outside and to look for beautiful places. We ask the front desk to do a make up room while were outside but when we came back (5pm) the room still dirty. Nothing was touch. In short they forget what are we ask for.

Nice hotel, great staff. Don't expect large, spacious rooms, but it's super clean and modern. 5 minute walk from 3 tube lines. This wil be my favorite place to stay in London.

Brilliant hotel with great staff. Our room overlooked the gardens with great views to the west end. On arrival we were met at reception by Charli who was very welcoming. We ate in the hotel twice and on both occasions it was really excellent. Many Thanks.

Clean rooms and good breakfast.

I have just come from having afternoon Tea and here is my experience. My daughter and I like afternoon tea and we can say we are experienced and know what to expect. Today we had afternoon Tea at the Royal Garden. The waiters are very pleasant and they took us to our table and presented us with beautiful jars of different types of Tea leaves. Our choice came in a beautiful Tea Pot (Tea BAG) Why present tea leaves and give us a tea pot with a tea bag and hot water to dilute our tea bag? The sandwiches where OK. I have been trying to find words to share the cake experience. Here are the words that come to mind (Amateur/Bland/Limp). When I asked for more sandwiches to take away the cake disapoinment (this came at an extra cost). You need to send out secret shoppers to see what the competitotrs offer because you have a very long way to go.

Great views of kensington garden and most of London. Near royal Albert hall, a whole foods supermarket and the rest of kensington high street. Rooms are clean and secure.

Please Avoid the NCP car park at Royal Garden Hotel. I ended up damaging my wheels there as the lanes are so narrow entering in to the car park. Once you have started driving in to the car park there is no turning back. You are lucky if you don't damage your tyres even driving at 2 miles and hour. It cost a l No one is responsible for this as they say its at your own risk. Don't take the risk its not worth it. Please note I am commenting only on the car park and not the service of the hotel.

Very convenient location right in the heart of Kensington. Kensington Gardens and adjacent Hyde Park are great for walking, relaxing or bike riding. Hotel is surrounded by many different dining options as well as several close Tube stops for easy public transport anywhere. The staff was friendly and efficient and the room very comfortable.
