Lovely place. Good people. Perfect location.

I came to London, England to find bugs in this hotel. I dayed with my girlfriend for 3 nights. Girlfriend My was sit140 times, and now I am am's inn of d'at (I am also 100). Of course, at the beginning, the hotel has has been the word ("cheat us"), who is more more troublesome to explain. We now checked the hotel's comments and found that they were not the first time something happened.
I haven't thought it for the past two days. I don't want to say it i'm seine to die. Girlfriend My's bite is inflamed and has already begun to day. Because they are in the UK, we are in a mood, and we are a visa. We also buy a plane ticket. The big big cost cost over, because of this broken hotel! They also also refused to pay compensation and perfuse us.
When we come to the UK, it is a tourist to remember. It is not a crime.
Garbage garbage hotel!

Stopped there 08/7/18. Just an overnight stay. Somewhere to lay our heads. Clean and tidy. Clean bedding and towels. Nice but small room. Friendly staff. Only giving it four stars out of five as we didn't stop for breakfast. Overall excellent. Highly recommend.

Very simple, not really a 3 star but is clean and location is great.

Simple Bed & Breakfast hotel to spend a few days visiting London. Located in a singular building. Although it has an elevator, you will use the stairs most of the time of the times as it is very slow. Tea and coffee facilities in both room and lobby. Bus stop to Picadilly at the door and the Metro to 50 m. Clean. Nice deal. We did not hear noise from other rooms, but yes from the street as the windows are simple.

Good place to stay. Not too noisy, room was rather hot and unable to turn down heating, had to open the window, but then and managed to sleep the whole night.

The location of the hotel is ideal for a sightseeing tour.
The reception is warm, the room correct (good bedding) The breakfast leaves a rather bitter note.

Pleasant room at a decent price. Quite comfortable. The toilet is shared with other rooms but they do mention that so there's nothing to complain about. Had a nice lovely stay.

The rooms here were a disappointment compared to the promise of the outside of this grand old house — — they are TINY and without any character. Our room had a super-high ceiling but was barely large enough for the 2 twin beds it contained, and had no sign of the crown molding and other details that surely used to adorn the place. There was very little space for our belongings, and just a freestanding towel rack (taking up precious floor space) to hang things on. Guests were coming and going until about midnight, and each time the main door opened our door would make a noise as the pressure changed in the house. And one time someone woke us up by ringing the bell repeatedly around 11:30 PM, continuing for quite a while before someone let them in. On the plus side, it's very close to Holland Park and the underground, everything was clean, and the staff was friendly.

Stayed one night. Booked wks in advance for a room with 3 single beds. Ended up with a doube bed and single. Not happy sharing a double bed with my 20yr old son as my youngest had single bed. Beds were clean. Carpet stained wall need to see paint. Window was broke so couldnt open so melted all night. Bloody fire alarm warning light lights up up room green all night. Says on website free parking. Aint. Had to pay £20. This place should be a hostel not a hotel/b&b. As we were the only english there. would I stay again. NO recommend a friend. No. but I stayed in worse places an prob will again. sorry ravna. But you aint for me. out of 10*. I give it 4*. An one of them *. Was for the piece of toast at breakie.

You get what you pay for but on this occasion was surprised by the quality of the rooms and the hospitality was exelent Was able to leave the car there all day dispite having checked out would recommend.

Service is nice! Need to improve cleaning… and must! fix elevator! all not shared rooms are at the top floor.!

Stayed overnight for one night. B&B Forty Quid booked up well in advance. Very welcoming staff. Easy check in. Clean room, shared facilities. Breakfast basic but perfectly edible. What do you expect for the price in Central London? All you need is a warm comfortable room and bed for the night. Hotel is 50yards from Holland Park Tube station. Some noise from the busy Holland Park Avenue but so what? The building itself is beautiful and well maintained by staff who clearly take a pride in what they do, and are also very proud of their Serbian Chetnik ancestry who originally acquired the Ravna Gora. All in all, excellent value for money and I will certainly stay there again.

The best thing is the location! Nice room, comfortable beds.

Staff and Management nice and helpful, bathroom really small, advertised free breakfast is not free, close to underground and city center, elevator at the moment under construction (does not seem that the problem will be solved soon), good Wi-Fi.

Basic. Rooms are fairly comfortable and the employees are pleasent. The bed is a spring bed with not enough isolation between the body and the springs, I found it uncomfortable at times. The Wi-fi drops constantly; annoying and burned through my mobile data plan. Breakfast is very basic: 2-3 types of cereals. Toast. Hard cheese. Salami slices. Crouason. Tea and coffee. That's it. Not worth the money, eat outside.

Stayed one night, was a straightforward pleasant experience, hotel is clean and rooms are tidy. Don't be put off by a few bad reviews. Very affordable and excellent location.

Perfect staff, food is great, location is great.

Read the previous reviews and was dubious booking up. Called the hotel and was told it's under new management and they assured me old problems no longer exist. I stayed in room 5 (see pics) and was impressed. Clean bedding, clean towel, nice decor, friendly staff and a sink in the room. It is on a main road so I bought earplugs in advance. For the money, it's an excellent place. I hope others take the time to raise this hotels score as its been treated harshly due to old reputation. I stayed 6/3/17.

During our stay, the hotel was under renovation. Room for 4 people was small but very pretty. The bathroom and especially her shower is to improved.
For the breakfast room, it would be nice as it is stated, that you want not…
We know that we go to London, and c is a we talk English, but the staff learned the french that would be cool.
Flyers for indicated the bus and metro would be friendly to make available.

6 months ago see the comment (the divine) we had a good stay, today we're not only back! I did not yet identify my plates of redness demangeaisantes me and my friends as well as bugs I saw in the rooms! Windows break, flush common something crazy bedding has make the nightmares! and yet, great location it is the only positive point because located in front of the pub/restaurant THE MITRE the best of London! I'll give you a point thanks to your situation, but if I could give you — 10 I would gladly! close your mess a microbes tourism will be better!

This was the hotel from hell. Dirty, disgusting, vile place. Avoid it. Bed bugs, blocked toilets, the list goes on. The worst place I have ever stayed.

Worst time ever. The room was unclean, bed older than London itself. 4 lamps in the room, none were working or plugged in. Only on plug was found in the room. I just can't believe a room can be that expensive (150€) with a shared toilet and bathroom for an entire floor. I'l put quotation around "bathroom". Just a closet with a shower in it. And a dirty, small, clogged one. There is free Wi-Fi… sometimes.

Only advantage: the geographical situation. The room for 4 people is old and dirty, noisy (traffic) with its windows that won't close, only the main lamp works, cold reception.

I did not even get as far as staying at this hotel. The guy on the phone was so rude and grunted on the phone. Was not forth coming with information regarding the hotel and had a very bad attitude.

We stayed 2 nights and despite the dilapidated rooms, they are nonetheless helpful, the sanitary facilities and the rooms are clean for a bed and breakfast! great location with bus and metro, I bit ensure you that on my next visit, I will book again at home!

I almost cancelled my booking after reading the reviews. I'm glad I didn't! The hotel is not perfect: it's an old, historical building and the rooms are bit dated (old but clean linens, and the like — — no bedbugs, as some have said, but I slept without the orange bedspread — — just sheet and blanket). The common restroom is a bit disconcerting as well, as there is no sink and the other (male) tenants sometimes make a mess. Initially, the Wi-Fi didn't work, but the staff kindly restarted the modem and there were no problems after that. The single rooms without an ensuite bathroom come with a sink, which is very useful. The room is a bit dated; the walls need repainting and the floor is a bit wobbly; I never tried to close the window — I'm sure it works, though. The staff was very kind and respectful; they also minded the "do not disturb" sign on my door. Overall, this is a great hotel if you want to explore the city and retire at night to a central, safe, and inexpensive room. If, on the other hand, you want the pampering hotel experience (new, plush beds and plenty of space), this may not be the right hotel for you at the moment. However, as it is currently being refurbished, it might very well become this within the next few months.

Avoid this place it is in need of alot of major work, maybe pull down and re-build. Plus get better staff.

Avoid if at all possible, Hotel is grimy, staff extremely unfriendly, breakfast is barely edible, rooms tiny and ramshackle. And if you're a stickler about cleanliness, well this place is definately not for you. Bathroom and shower are shared with the entire floor and have problems flushing. Were not able to provide a proper invoice. The only positive thing about this place is the location but don't fool yourself that it makes up for the other shortcomings, there are plenty of nicer (very basic/budget) accomodations centrally located, keep looking.

My family and I stayed at the Ravna Gora 2 nights. The hotel in general is old and unkept. The pictures onlince are false advertising! The lift did not work. The rooms are small and the beds are very old. The bathrooms are tiny and old. The linens are stained and one of the beds in my room had bed bugs. My cousin was covered in bites that became swollen and painful. The lady at the front desk was rude and did not seem to care about the bed bugs! We did not get another room nor did we get the refund that was promised to us. There is also no staff present over night should you need assistance. It was a disappointment and frustrating. London is beautiful and charming but do NOT stay here.
