Fantastic hotel! From the moment we were greeted at reception, every member of staff has been so friendly and welcoming. Nothing is a problem. The rooms are great, location is good for walking to many key places and it's surrounded by lots of bars and restaurants too. The staff really do make it a pleasure. We will be sad to leave tomorrow. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just got back from spending a wonderful weekend in London. We stayed in the Rathbone hotel. We were able to check in early. The room was spotless and there was a lovely little safety bag waiting for us which contained handgel and face coverings. Their was ample hand sanitizer around the hotel in dispensers which were in keeping with the hotel. The hotel staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We will be back next year. We would definitely recommend staying here.

If you want a quintessentially English hotel then this is perfect! Step back in time to an era of ‘ladies and gentlemen’ and, maybe, a bit of mystery. Plus the bar is cosy and welcoming. Great red wines too. I wish I could stay longer.

Booked 2 night stay as a surprise weekend away for my Husbands birthday and from when we arrived to when we checked out we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff and was also given a free complimentary upgrade on the room. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back x.

Construction noise outside the wall bothered me in the morning a lot. Should not do that at least while a guest is staying inside. There were other wall hitting noises happened occasionally night and day during my two night stay.

The hotel is fine. Good bed size even if the room is not large as in U. S. Why I am rating 2 stars: they charged my credit card in USD although I didn't ask for it and I wasn't asked for it, so at the end I was charged 3.5% more than the agreed price.

Great service, good breakfast. The room was noisy from both window (not soundproof), and door. So I woke up every time somebody closed their doors around my room.

Spent one night there, room was clean, a little fresh. Food ordered through room service was okeish. Staff was very friendly and helpful as well in suggesting other restaurants in the area. Wifi worked well. Breakfast was good, cappuccino coffee included.

It was OK. Very posh, but a little old fashioned for my taste. Big rooms with big beds, but the bathroom of my room had seen better days and the breakfast was not worth for the cost. Overall was an OK experience for a business trip, but I would not repeat for holidays.

Great place to stay with tube station at minutes walk. It has variety of restaurants available with different cuisines. It also has many convenient stores near by.

Fairly centrally located in a pleasant area, easily walkable/accessible to both Tottenham Ct. Rd. Station & Goodge St. Station. The Hotel rooms & bathrooms are on the shabby side, the Junior suite was extremely small, with a small 4' bed & cramped bathroom. The staff however were helpful & friendly. Not sure that I could recommend, it clearly suits some… personally would not stay again.

Old British charm, simple but clean rooms, good showers, comfy beds and pleasant staff. What really makes this place stand out is the location. Nestled in a great part of Soho with galleries, eateries, shopping and proper English pubs. Negative points for charging for internet.

Nice location in the heart of London with easy access to the Tube and British Museum. Staff was very friendly. I recommend the full English breakfast. Great room service when having a late night bite to eat. Although, I do prefer Iced tea over hot tea. I had a wonderful time at the hotel and London overall.

We had a pleasant weekend stay at the Rathbone. The suite we stayed in was not recently refurbished but very clean and well kept. We had a few minor hickups with the booking but the hotel staff were attentative and took care of everything in an exemplary manner. The location was very good with walking distance to the theatre district.

The hotel is nice enough but some issues with the room such as no view from the room window, toilet not flushing properly, towel rails are in a very awkward position and there are some screws poking up out of a section of the floor. No mini bar/fridge is in the room either which is an inconvenience.

What a lovely hotel the staff could not have been more helpful and really made our stay excellent. Customer service was the best I have received in hotels. Would definitely recommend. Breakfast was lovely well cooked and service again excellent My only negative point would be some one tipping bottles into dustbins in the early hours crashing noises but can not blame hotelmas this was outside somewhere.

The hotel is lovely and the staff really welcoming; brought a cake with candle for my birthday. All was going well until we tried to sleep — we were kept awake the entire night by crashing noises outside. The hotel are aware of this problem and have contacted the council, however for your stay to be perfect you need a room at the rear of the hotel and not overlooking Rathbone Street. We were so tired had to abandon our planned day of sightseeing so this review is not as positive as it might have been.

Minutes after check in which caused us to be in street. No one explains why and when asked offered bs explanation w/o apology for inconvenience. Concierge seems put off and unfriendly, poor directions given. Have to pay for Wi-Fi on top of room charge. No coffee or water or anything in room.
Choose someplace else. Plenty of other options in the area. Would NOT recommend this one.

I stay at the Rathbone a lot as it's very convenient for work around the corner. Aside from the locality the best feature of the Rathbone is the staff — they're always very friendly and courteous. As for the hotel itself it has limited facilities and the rooms are dated. The aircon is a little noisy and doesn't work very well in my experience. Wi-Fi isn't included. And if you get a room that faces onto Rathbone Street you'll probably find it noisy from the pub at night and early in the morning from deliveries. But, I keep going back because it's easy and the staff are friendly. I've rated 3/5 for room comfort and poor value for money more often than not.

There's no gym, you pay for Wi-Fi, and Continental breakfast a bit Spartan. The rooms are a bit underwhelming. However, great staff, great service.

For a High end hotel at the location it is It was lacking a lot wouldn't stay there again didn't like the rooms or the toilets there was no gym the internet was an unforeseeable price no vegan friendly food option the breakfast was not very nice and the waitress was quite unfriendly not a good customer service highly disjointed.

We stayed at the Rathbone Hotel for one night (February 6th) and had a WONDERFUL stay! The Hotel is reasonably well located: 5 minutes from Oxfird St and 15 minutes walk from Trafalgar Sq. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. All our special requests were supported with a great smile! The breakfast is rich and healthy with unlimited quantities. We arrived, for our three night stay, after an early flight to drop our bags and received the usual warm welcome and offer of complimentary drinks. Quiet, large and beautifully decorated room and bathroom, fruitplate and newspaper every day, free internet. Waters and towels were always stocked and perfect. I believe that this small boutique hotel is doing a wonderful job and I highly recommend to anyone traveling to London. My only complaint is that the bar doesn't feel very inviting.
