The staff are absolutely terrible and seem to go out of their way to make your stay unbearable. 40 minute wait for starters in the in-house restaurant so don’t come here if you want to eat anytime soon!

Absolutely brilliant experience staying here Easter weekend. The staff were super friendly and helpful with a lovely relaxed atmosphere too! Rooms were lovely. Food and great! Highly recommend! We will come again 👍

The Thyme restaurant serves wonderfully prepared food and the staff, both restaurant and hotel are really kind and helpful I cannot fault this hotel and would highly recommend to anyone.

Unfortunately very short staffed facilities were poor to be fair bar shut early due to no staff.

Very good rooms and quieter than I have experienced in others. All staff very pleasant and helpful.

I stay london few times a month. Found premier in s to be better than hilton. This premier is not far from tube station. Not a very touristy area but good tube links and good for where I need to go. Love the plus rooms. Always had good service so far.

Terrible check in experience. Been queuing since 5pm and still a huge queue outside the door. Lack of staff and untrained not helping matters 🙁

Comfortable than Travelodge. Polite staff, quick service. The only downer was the early start of building work next door.

Tried to eat dinnet in the restaurant. It was half empty. Staff left people standing without acknowledgement. Seemed flustered. Asked for a table for 1 told people had reserved tables although not turned up. Advised I'd have to wait 45 minutes. Requested order food to take away to have in the room and was told to come back in 45 minutes to order. When I stated that wasn't satisfactory the response was rude. Breakfast was no better. Every item on the hot food buffet was cold. The toasting machine only warmed the bread. No fruit mix available. Seems to be a trend in Premiet Inn as also stayed at one near London Bridge and the service for the evening meal was atrocious and breakfast was of a similar standard. I will say that the rooms were good and as expected. Shame the food service lets them down.

Very close to Old street station&convenience store & coffee shop. Room very clean and location are supreb!

Excellant stay and service was provided on my recent stay at this particular premier inn. Not only where the rooms very clean but the food at the resturant was suprisly prepared really well. Both nights we where served by Derek and his service was first class.

Staff, rooms, breakfast were all of a very high standard. Will definitely stay again and recommend to singles, couples, families, disabled access all suitable. Staff even gave balloons and candles to sing to children with birthdays.

Excellent hotel. Conveniently situated for Tube and Bus travel. The check was very good and the staff very welcoming. The staff were also all very smartly dressed in their Premier Inn uniforms which gave an excellent first time impression of the premises. The room — indeed the whole place — was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very good value for money. The Saver Rate which I paid for the room was also excellent value. I would recommend this Premier Inn to anyone. It is certainly the best Premier Inn I have stayed in and I use Premiers regularly. I will definitely stay here next time I am in London.

Great property at 200 meters from Old Street Metro. Large and clean room. Change of towels daily.

I've stayed in a lot of Premier Inns and, even though this one charges premium London rates, it's still value for money compared to all the other overpriced hotels in London. My room was pretty standard for this chain of hotels but the bathroom could have been cleaner. Paid for breakfast and that was pretty good but there is only 1 coffee machine so be prepared to queue. I took some photos of my evening meal which was well prepared and delivered quickly. Would definitely stay there again.

What can I say, it's a Premier Inn. Standard rooms, standard breakfast. That's not to say it's bad. Very quiet at the end of the quiet corridor. Decent places to eat and drink nearby so if it's near where you want to be then it's good.

The Premier Inn old street really respects the policy of this hotel chain: comfort and quality service even on a low budget. The hotel is well located, the area is lively. You can easily reach Liverpool Street. The rooms are cosy, sober and the beds… Lord, sweetness.
The staff is really top, it's rare. I do not know if it is because of the English education or simply because they know radically their trade…
PS: it is better to book in advance to take advantage of (really) advantageous rates.

A good value for money hotel. Children do not pay up to 16 years.

The rooms are clean and well appointed. They are spacious for 2 or 3 people but the "family" rooms for 4, are only rooms with beds added, so with 4 people, we are very tight. The breakfasts are very hearty and very good. We did not have any less liked the dinners but it is OK. We do not have the right to smoke or vaping in the rooms and the Wi-Fi is really very bad, it disconnects all the time, we were 4 and only 2 were able to connect. External noises are attenuated but existing. As far as we are concerned the blackout curtains are quite efficient but we were located right in front of a luminous sign so still one of the light at night. The hotel is located close to bus and Metro station so very convenient. The ventilation of the bathroom is triggered as soon as we open the light and it is very noisy, that of the neighbors too, so to avoid for the night when the others sleep. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning is appreciable because the Windows do not open.

I was in London for a fundraising challenge for work when I booked this hotel. It is in a great location, 5 minutes walk from Old Street tube station and 20 minutes walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras. The hotel itself is clean and modern with friendly staff and large open rooms. The room I was in 1014 had spectacular views of East London. Good value for 4 nights too.

A very clean hotel cheap and very well located a few steps away from the Metro! Excellent!

Personally I liked my stay while on a working trip completely, however some colleagues who are more particular about such things said they did not trust the shower products that they cannot see details about. There seem to not be any q-tips provided as well. Anyway these are just the tiniest of complaints and the spot and service is premium. Breakfast is amazing. Room is quiet and comfy.

Hotel is located in an industrial are of the city surrounded by offices, but easily accessible from Old Street and within a mile of trendy Spittle fields. When I attended there was a good comfy bed but the sound from services was overpowering with fans and pipework very noisy. To make matters worse there was no hot water, making showering extremely uncomfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful, but a little dismissive over the hot water issues which are critical if you have a meeting the next day (why else would you stay here?! ) The breakfast was acceptable with good quality ingredients but a little overcooked. For a Premier Inn it was poor, however it was better than some hotels I've stayed in in the past!

For central London the size of the room was great. For the Premier Inn standard which is fine it is over priced. The bed was alright but the beds in the Premier Inn at Blackfriars are far more superior (they are worth calling home about). The room keys would occasionally fail to work and we had to get them replaced. This location is a 2 star but the staff bring it up to 3 stars they were great, very friendly and approachable. Even though it is a self service check-in they were there to help.

The hotel itself was great and the staff were excellent and helpful. However building work across the road meant it was an early wake up call on a Sunday morning. Hotel as expected and was comfy also excellent location. Only downside was the building work.

Lovely stay here, very friendly, pleasant and helpful staff, nice and clean, room size good. Small hick up, staff did not know where the eggs and meat came from for the breakfast, so no full English breakfast for us, however there was a good choice of other things to enjoy. Need to find out where there meat and eggs come from, free range perfect then would of been a full 5 gold stars.

Inn is good but amenities that they provide is not great. We can get a good london view. Fabulous service no laundry option. The lift is too fast. Worthy for money.

The rooms were very nice and clean. Also rooms are very quiet, no hallway noise that we heard. The onsite restaurant was nice but gets crowded. Especially for breakfast take notice of their "high traffic" times posters… and go a different time. Everyone we spoke to was quite pleasant, except one early morning before venturing out we were told by the person mopping up the lobby to move so she could finish… not sure it should have happened that way. I'd go back if in the area.

Staff are very nice. Quiet room. Super comfortable bed. There is good value for the money. There is a tube (underground) about 3 minutes walk which is very convenient and there is a little super market next to the hotel too. The only bad thing is that the heating was off (wasn't too cold but I just like it toastie) we will be back.

One of the best premier Inn I have stayed at with good air-conditioning and nice rooms and facilities.

Hotel was fine, nothing particularly speculation. The single bed duvets seem a little small and couldn't cover me at night. Asides from that, good location and reasonably priced if booked early.

We arrived after a 15 mile walk and were shattered. Check in was very quick and efficient. Went straight to our room which was lovely and clean with working air con. My son requires a cool room to sleep in and this wasn't an issue at all. Shower was clean and well needed after our journey. Bed was so comfortable and had a great nights sleep.

Premier Inn are usually my favourite in this price range. The staff on Old Street, though, are really below average. You don't feel welcome at any time. The tastefully good "Full English Breakfast" becomes a tedious experience due to the poor organization at the buffet. Too bad because the location is good for tourists.

For a busy area of London, this hotel was amazingly quiet. Great bar and restaurant on site. Great service throughout.

Good location close to the tube, room surprisingly very peaceful, staff friendly and helpful. A bit understaffed at breakfast though. I accidentally left my necklace in my room when I checked out, and even though it was several weeks later that I phoned up, the staff at the Premier Inn found it in lost property and posted it back to me — thank you so much!

I escorted some friends here who were visiting London. As far as I'm aware they had an enjoyable stay. The cot provided didn't have a thick mattress for their one year old, easily rectified by using a spare duvet.

Clean hotel, easy checkin and near the underground. It is what you would expect from a Premier Inn. There are better Premier Inn's in the UK but it is a good budget London Hotel and would stay again.

Convenient, central but bland hotel.
I was unimpressed by the hand-towel in the bathroom that had a hole in it and was more grey than white.
The room was far too warm and the air conditioning was too noisy to leave on all night. The duvet was too thick for me and I got much too hot under it.
BUT the staff are lovely and it's clean and efficient. Didn't use the restaurant but didn't see any queues but perhaps a Monday night stay doesn't really test how busy it could get. Lots of lovely alternatives close by — including a very efficient Costa Coffee bar, if you're going to Moorfields.

I've stayed here the past two years on short term university trips. It's akin to a Holiday Inn Express in the US. No frills, but a quality, good sized room, modern feel, nice bed, temperature controls in room, coffee & tea in room, etc. Short walk to tube station. There's not much touristy stuff to do in the area, but there are plenty of pubs and restaurants in walking distance. I'd recommend it at the right price.

-Cleaning of the room at height every day, change of towels;
3. Good breakfasts for an extra charge, with children free of charge.

We had an lovely night here … we arrived to early to have our room … they were happy to keep our case so we was able to go and start exploring … our room was gawjus we were on 10th floor but I had no intention of looking out the window so that wasn't an issue … our breakfast was amazing … bus stop right out side to London Bridge and Waterloo was an added bonus although the tube was only 5 minutes walk away … we will Deffo stop here again.

The hotel and the staff were fine. However on both nights I was served a cold meal in the restaurant and had to send them back. First night the waitress waived the cost of my meal but when she brought the replacement back the sweetcorn was only lukewarm not hot. I again told her but left it on my plate. Last night I had chicken curry and again it was only lukewarm. I found this out when I ate a piece of the chicken. It was sent back and the replacement was really hot this time. However the nan bread was like a biscuit it broke in bits when I hit it with the knife, needless to say I didnt eat that. Not a good eating experience at all. I got a sorry this time but still paid for my meal. I dont mind paying for a decent meal but twice in a row is a bit much.

Stayed here many times and I like it a lot especially the happy hour. Ok you don't get a view of the Thames from your window but it is central, it's also close to lots of good restaurants. Old Street underground is also a mere 5 minutes walk away. I can't fault it to be honest and would satay here again without a doubt.

Great location, despite being far away from the Centre there is a five minutes walking Northern line tube station, the rooms are big enough and they are pretty clean, and the beds are really comfy, you might find a lack of staff in the reception.

Great location, a short walk from Old Street station and at least two trendy independent coffee shops. New and well appointed, friendly helpful staff and a pretty decent breakfast. Comfy rooms and quiet considering the location. Not a bad place to stay, booking online gives a reasonable rate for London. Could do worse.

One of the noisier premier inn hotels I've stayed in in London. Next to city road, which is noisy at the best of times. Opposite student accommodation, there was a party going on until 2am last night. Building work taking place behind the hotel. The rooms are a little small but functional. Near old street tube station.

Really good. The room is comfortable, everything is where you need it to be, and the service is pretty good. 10/10.

Stayed at the Clacton on sea branch, was comfortable and clean, was a bit noisey from out side of hotel wasn't very sound proofed and also didn't realise that the heater was on so it was quite hot in the room other than that very pleased with my stay.

Fantastic location close to Old Street underground. Surrounded by office blocks so don't expect exciting views of the London skyline from your room. The breakfasts are fantastic … Make sure you add them to your stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and quiet … An excellent base from which to explore London.

Room was OK, everything worked. Paid for Ultimate Wi-Fi, which will give you a sustained 3Mbs. That's OK for streaming most stuff, but it ramps up to that speed, so general web browsing, or skipping between YouTube vids is just utterly painful. I tried to log into work, but took about half an hour and was too slow to use. And come on Premier Inn, why no irons in the rooms? When you're paying £130 a night for room only should you really expect to have to schlep down 11 floors, and back, to get an iron and board? However, the location is brilliant. Hoxton and Shoreditch are on the doorstep, with Islington just 15 minutes up the road.

Stayed here in June 2015. It's a bit far from the sites in London but the hotel itself was brand new and beautiful. Huge bed, huge tv, huge bathroom. Definitely the best sleep I had on my tour through Europe.

An excellent example of a Premier Inn. We had fantastic service at both breakfast and dinner. The staff were amazing looking after our kids. The location is ideal, very close to the Old Street tube station. It's a short trip to Waterloo (one quick change of tube lines) station. We had a family room, it was a good size.

Position is the first advantage, about three minutes to the Old Street Underground station. The hotel is located in a quiet corner, near a traffic road. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast is very good and abundant.

Nice room, clean and tidy. Only thing the let's it down was the staff, reserved dinner with reception, arrived and not on list. Shown to table and waited 10 minutes until I asked for our order to be taken, then after another 10 minutes I asked where our drinks were. Just coming was the reply. Not hard to do, not the many in the restaurant, at least three waiting staff. Heaven knows how they got the job.

The food was amazing and the fact that you have to pay per hour is quet good and its cheap is well.

I really liked the hotel, 2 min from the subway, close to everything, the rooms very comfortable, sleeps great, the breakfast perfect to start the day. I recommend it without any doubt.

Feels dated when compared to newer/refurbished Prem Inns. Hugely understaffed in the eatery and service suffered as a result. Location convenient for Northern line tube and access to the Shoreditch scene.

To be honest I would have liked to have given 5 stars, I reduced it to 4 only because of the cost. I had to work in London over Christmas 2014, so needed to be in the area for 10 days. Of course the costs were relative to the fact it was very, very central and over Christmas and New Year. So my choice. The hotel is one of the best of Premier Inn I have stayed in and I have been to quite a few. Staff and Service were very 5 Star, Hotel very clean and tidy and Resturant and Bar (which closes a little too early) were both well run and very good quality. Breakfast at £10 is very good but very expensive for adults. However, children eat for free, so a family of 4 reflects £20. Which is very good value. No complaints to report about room and bed very comfortable. Also what is nice is a high rate of Tourists that stay there, very cosmopolitian. Choose this hotel above others. Just try a reduce overall costs. As a regular customer, maybe Premier Inn should offer better deals or discounts. Hey Ho Will definately return and reccommend. Paul.

A bit pricey for a Premier Inn but it is central London so should be expected. Very good rooms, and an attached restaurant that does an excellent breakfast. Evening meals a bit expensive and small portions, you're better off wandering to one of the many nearby pubs or restaurants for much better value and a more lively evening dining atmosphere. Overall a very good hotel that I would recommend if you're on a budget.

We have stayed at this hotel on two occasions. It's only 2 tube stops from Kings Cross and therefore very easy to travel to. The staff are very helpful and the place is very clean and tidy and when you consider the price, this is everything you really need from a budget hotel.

It's a Premier Inn, so if you've ever stayed in one of their hotels you know exactly what you're going to get, right down to the decor in your room. The hotel is new (at the time of writing) and well located, close to Old Street tube station yet in a quiet spot, and with lots of good places to eat in the surrounding area. The staff are excellent too — all very friendly and helpful. This is my first choice hotel in London when I'm visiting.

The stay was excellent, during the month of June 2013, the new brand new facilities, clean and modern, with an ideal location next to the metro.
Highly recommended.
