Great place, great staff, well organised.

Excellent venue, security were on the ball. Plenty of space. Good acoustics.

Nice and easy to get to, nice and clean and tidy and the security staff were fun but effective at their jobs. Second time I’ve been there and I like it because it’s not too large to get round in a day.

Mind Body Spirit Festival is a great venue — workshops, sessions and plenty of eco-supplies. Great atmosphere, highly recommend!

Venue was very good. Had good space for staging talks. Good all round for exhibit stalls.

Massively disorganised. The security staff are so beyond rude, there is no sense of safety or professionalism I will never attend this venue again.

An event I’d been looking forward to… was over crowed by stall that had no meaning to Christmas or catered for a Marley which wouldn’t of visited the venue in the first place. Utter chaos and no sense of safety, far to over crowded… poorly thought out. Christmas ideal home show.

Excellent day but I don’t like the new rule of no food in the arena. We have been coming for 20 years and always eaten lunch in our seats watching the show. The finale also needs more horses.

Is the best place to organize a exhibitions and large events!

Excellent venue for the Great British Beer Festival.

I came here a few times for Hyper Japan and it’s a great venue. Very large and spacious with a number of food and drink options, easy access via Tube and has an ATM machine outside and a few inside. Great venue for Hyper Japan.

Was a pleasant surprise at the Ideal Home Exhibition this year, lots to look at… and didn’t realise a whole food hall upstairs! Cheaper to park than get a train from Maidstone!

I have been to this venue a couple of times now. Beautiful building lots of space on offer for event to use provided the event plans well. Never had any trouble finding the venue and once inside very easy to fine your way around and find all of the available amenities.

Attended the Great British Beer Festival at Olympia. Looking solely at the venue, it's a great space with a wonderful glass domed ceiling in the larger hall in which we were based. Despite crowds of people and multiple food stands the temperature remained pleasant all day although I suspect it may have been a bit warm if the sun was out! Easily accessible by bus or tube, although the Overground and some Southern rail services actually call at Kensington Olympia station which is about a two minute walk to the entrance of the venue. Highly recommended.

Attended London Film and Comic Con. Well laid out so you don't have excessive walking. Not to many steps to got to upper level (there is a lift should you need it). Lots of toilet facilities. The pizza express in the corner was awesome, considering the speed at which they were chucking them out hands down the best pizza I've had at a restaurant. Looooooong queues, but they moved quick and efficiently to get you in.

Visited here for comic con 2018. Unfortunately the grandeur of the place has long since faded and it felt very shabby inside. Extortionate prices once inside — £2.10 for a can of coke and £1.70 for a packet of crisps. Even at London prices was inflated. Not a lot of choice for food either. To find out what was on the menu you had to queue for ages to get to a hot counter and find out if you liked what was on the menu or not. Yet the menu up on the board took the trouble to show loads of drinks available. How is that helpful. Felt it was very grubby inside and tired. Comic con was good. Although why we had to queue by the train station to the be allowed to join another queue accessed by walking all around the building stood in the rain was beyond me especially when you get through the doors and see that it was all geared up for queues! Enjoyed the people dressed up in costume but this is a huge money making scheme after being repeatedly told no photos unless you pay extortionate amounts. Did make me chuckle one of the actors had a sign saying no selfies, no hugs etc. Don't they remember it's us public who made them the stars they are?

Great as the show is, we both believe the show needs a little zing and inspiration. The lady whom selected the companies certainly made some good choices but could have been a little more dynamic to push out the boat a little more. Some companies were selling the same items, one really wishes to make you feel you would love to have that in your own home. Sadly, if this continues Olympia might lose one of the best shows for home ideas.

Easily cave into terrorist pressure and have no backbone by screwing over cosplayers, a ban on cosplay weapons is not a safety measure, its a punishment to cosplayers.

Couldn't organise a piss up in a brewery. Love walking around with their walkie talkies not doing much! Crap location, crap venue! Should've been nocked down along with earls court.

Very nice place for events in London!

I went there for the Conference heroes and villains, on Saturday and Sunday… There is only one distributor inside and the charges are important (remove before coming! ), it is hot in and there is no real air con… the QQ restaurants are expensive (8.50 pounds for a Buger finally Burger… just a chopped steak a slice of cheese and cold bread… No fries and the sauce is to add oneself to the counter with the pots of mustard, ketchup, Mayo. ) in the morning I paid 7 pounds for a coffee and a brownie! In short the room is large, there is a floor several stairs but few seats to sit! so people put themselves on the floor when they are tired… the queue was quite long and the security was not very amiable.

It was my first time at Olympia for a IT conference and the venue was clean and had good facilities for food and coffee. Only complaint I have is how hot it was in there. Granted it was about 25C outside but this is a massive hall and should have sufficient air conditioning to keep everyone cool and comfortable.

Within the London Wine Fair Small Fair not at the height of other international events. Small tables and Flying spitboards. Overall not worth it. A middle way between the worst vinitaly and the. Best Country Festival. I enjoyed the safety with the antiexulsive dogs that smelled all the bags. In Verona we would all explode…

A great exhibition venue in central London. I have been to a few events there now and is always amazed by the space and light. It’s a very flexible space allowing it to be tailored to each event. Only down side is that all the cafes in the venue are fairly pricey.

Visited Food and drink festival as well as the Ideal home exhibition. Well run and busy. Not enough seating in the food area though, which meant that we didn't spend as much time as we would have liked to. The ideal home show was pretty good. Sunday tube was it's usually unreliable service.

I love this place. I have lots of happy memories. Food and drinks are very expensive, take your own or go out as options are limited and there's very little seating. There are multiple entrances so check which one you need before arriving, to save yourself a long walk.

Over the years I have been to many exhibitions and events at Olympia London in Olympia Grand, Conference Centre, and Olympia West. Most recently I visited the Just V Show which was great. Lots of vegetarian and vegan foods and products including body care and options for those with allergies. As usual the layout of the exhibition was attractive and easy to manoeuvre. Olympia London always has a good range of quality snacks and meals for visitors. The venue is easily accessible by public transport and its always easy to get you badge when you prepay.

Great day out at the ideal home exhibition. Public transport including bus tube and train stops right by the complex. Plenty of toilets which were clean, food and drink can be purchased inside with seating areas. Need a whole day for the big shows to get around it all, be prepared for a lot of walking so sensible shoes. Seems good for those that use wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Check their website out for all the other events held there.

Had a good time at the Ideal Home Show, but didn't feel like there were any decent show offers. It's worth going just for a day, maybe together with some ideas, but but not sure you will benefit financially. I noticed many stands related to smart homes, it's clearly in its infancy at the moment and expensive.

Olympia a lovely old venue, tremendous diverse amount of freshly cooked foods from all over the world, a snack foodies paradise.

Well-known exhibition building, in its original art Deco style, easy to reach with Metro or surface means.

Ideal Location for big events.

A very good event venue with historical ceilings and well kept grounds. The halls can be dressed accordingly and offer a charming alternative to the more clinical looking, modern Venues that have sprung up across London. Recently visited an expo and was pleased, plus great transport links via the linked station. Food options were good but would have liked to see more variety, seemed sandwiches and soup were pretty much the only options. Would be great to set up an outlet that serves more robust meals.

Great visit loses a star due to no seating areas my legs ached and everyone had to sit on the floor.

Attended walker stalker on the Saturday and had an amazing day the only thing that ruined it for me were the security staff, I went upstairs to use the toilets and got caught in a mass of people waiting for Norman Redus to walk past, security then asked everyone to move back, I couldn't move any further back as there was no room, then this female security guard starts mouthing off to me saying I'm the worst one cause I'm hanging out in front and I need to move back more (again, I have nowhere to move to) then she starts taking the mick out of me, then another female security guard comes over and starts physically pushing me back saying 'im just gonna keep walking into you until u move'… I'm 3 months pregnant and I don't appreciate being physically pushed and even if I could of moved somewhere else I was worried incase people surged forward and I got knocked over. I really think these staff need re-training and they also need to learn some manners!

This was my second visit to the Olympia. The place is easy to find but once you go inside be prepared to climb stairs and walk around a lot (I believe they have lifts but I didn't see any special assistance if you require help moving about). I got lost at the venue I was attending because I didn't have a lot of reference points, but that could have been me. Despite it being very cold outside, the inside was warm and cozy. Not a bad place to attend a venue.

Centrally located near the station for easy access to London Overground. Great venue for an exhibition. Helpful and friendly staff. Just be aware that overground trains are not as frequent as tube and on one occasion the train was too full to bards. One stop away from Shepard’s Bush which has several nice hotels and the huge Westfield shopping center.

Nice big venue. Loved the airy central building with the skylight. Bathrooms were small and hidden away. Made getting there and back during breaks difficult. Well heated during a darned cold winter. Better facilities for teaching individual classes without noise are needed. Overall though, very nice venue.

Great venue, obviously. Spacious, accessible, clean. Not hitting the five stars because of the food facilities, not providing good value for money, and staff were so harassed they were barking at customers. What a contrast with the Best of You expo we were visiting! Note to the management: look after your people, they are the ones looking after your customers.

Beautiful architecture for a historic place. Ideal Location for fairs, exhibitions and business meetings.

Convention Center. Large. They usually do several events simultaneously. Next to the metro station.

First time at Olympia for the Toy Fare, and loved it all, the staff were friendly and helpful from the door staff to the exhibitors. A lot of new/old /quirky/funny /and playful things to be seen, brought whichever stand you went to was a joy to look at, well done all and may be back for years to come.

Great venue for The Great British Beer Festival. The food on offer is certainly improving over the years, wider selections available. Having 1/3 pint servings is a good idea, allows you to sample a lot more stuff!

The Olympia is a great place, we have been here several times for events. Only problem is finding out which entrance you are meant to be going in through as it's usually specific and you must use the right one. Not easy to find! All in all thought it is an amazing place.

Finally made it to olympia aged (the right side of) 50. Loved every minute — the event, food & bev, shopping — atmosphere. Why did I wait so long?! Went with a bestie & had a ball. The admin team were great 're a booking query, quick response, extremely helpful.

Christmas arrives for me when I’ve been to the Olympia horse show, it’s a great family experience for anyone horsey or not. I agreed with the comments about the Chilean horses I don’t think skill or rapport comes into the training when the rider uses spurs if that size, though I respect their tradition and culture. The food is always very expensive but I was impressed with the value of a reasonable snack in the Champagne bar of all places. I would recommend This event to anyone as a Christmas treat and am sure I’ll still be going for years to come.

Great days entertainment. Marred by a female steward who was extremely rude. All the others were great. Food was ridiculously over priced. 34 Pounds for 3 dinners and 3 bottles of water. Next time I will take a picnic.

Yearly trip to the horse show, staff were helpful and the show itself was great (apart from the Chilean horses that seriously looked like They hated their work — ears flat back the whole way through it-how they got a slot when the riders had Those horrendous spurs and the horses looked so stressed I don’t know! ) the food is seriously over priced, especially when you take into account the reSonablly high price of tickets! — the stalks were varied but lacked one of the big names which I went for! — not as many deals this year and some stalls pricing things higher than its usual price on line! (Gone are the days of bargains at the show). The met police did themselves proud — their showcase was fantastic! Great commentary during the event overall a good day out — next year il be packing a picnic!

Horses good. Stalls good. Food/Drink prices were ridiculous. £2.25 for 500mls bottle of water!

Been here a few times for various events. It's a great venue — really large and can fit plenty of whatever you're into, so it's the perfect place to browse around. However, before you go should be aware of a couple of things… The first is that, if you're arriving by London Underground train, the Olympia centre is situated by a station of it's own. You have to catch a new train from the nearest stop to the Olympia. These come along about once or twice an hour (even in busiest times! ) which means you'll need to account for this delay in getting to the venue. Secondly, there is the cost of food once inside the venue. Like everything in London, it's expensive. You'll get your bags searched on the way in, but the guards don't seem to mind you bringing a sandwich or two, so save yourself a bit of money and pack something to eat and drink. Thirdly, and this only applies to *some* talks. One time there was a talk hosted in the central room. The actors were on stage speaking into microphones, but the room was so large that, even with the giant speakers, their voices were muffled and virtually impossible to hear. You had to be right next to the speakers to make out what they were saying. However, this was only the once and other times talks are normally help upstairs in smaller rooms where the acoustics are better. Overall, nothing wrong with the venue — just allow for extra travelling time, plus cost of food.

Depends on the event but usually a great place to hold and or visit one. Enjoyed Top Drawer 2017 here. Something rather classic about this venue probably the huge glass roof.

A great place with great events happening each month! The only downside is the catering, the food and drinks are more expensive however not great taste. I would advise to go out for coffees or food. There's few lovely ones around the venue.

I went here for the 2017 Great British Beer Festival on Saturday 12th August. I was expecting in to be busy and too crowded due to it being a big event and it being a Saturday, however I was impressed that it wasn't. I was aware that the Olympia is big but I wasn't expecting it to be THAT big. So it didn't feel too crowded despite there being a lot of people at the event. I will definitely go back next year.

Came here for the Korean feel festival. The venue was spacious and great for the concert. Bar was open for refreshments. Although no food store was available… It was probably for the good considering the lack of bins. Transport links are great and there is a wide range of places to eat outside. All in all, a good venue to attend for any kind of event.

Very Cheap and comfortable, great place to stay for direct access to central London.

Oh gosh. Where to begin? We arrived and found the carpet to be utterly filthy. Pulled back the cover of the bed to find bloodstains (! ) on the sheets. We asked for new sheets from the staff, but they weren't supplied. We had to go ask again hours later, and change the sheets ourselves. The mattress was filthy and spotted in black. We were seriously afraid of bedbugs, and there were mice skittering up and down the stairs and in the lobby. Also, not a very secure hotel. You don't have a personal key to keep — you turn it into the front desk whenever you leave, and they don't verify who you are when you request a room key. They almost gave me the key to another room until I corrected them. Long story short, save your money and go to a hostel. You'll get the same amenities. Or find another hotel.

1 star, although it should deserve 0. I have been in this ho (s) tel in 2010, I am really gutted that it is still open. They should shut it down immediately, before someone else can get their money wasted. I was given the room in the ground floor room, and it looked apparently clean, (well only the toilet is), but in a couple of days I woke up full of bites. I went to the hospital and I was reported to have bedbugs. The bed sheet never got changed in a week. After I come back from the Hospital with the letter from the doctor stating I possibly got bedbugs, they moved me in another dirty room upstairs but no refund was offered. It has affected my holiday and I will do the impossible to make this hotel shut. I have been in much cheaper hostels in London and there were really clean and had value for money. This hotel needs to be closed.
