Unbelievably hot. I understand that many places in London do not have A/C but a luxury hotel in the summertime? It's an absolute oven inside, and there is no effective way to cool down the rooms. Nobody in my family slept, and there was no way to fix the issue according to front desk staff. Atrocious experience — DO NOT STAY HERE! (Note — I was credited back 49.20 onto my card for this. I appreciate that, but the review still stands. )

Great, Wi-Fi a nice little swimming pool and its spa as well as its steam room, great rich breakfast and its well equiped rooms as well as a superb view of London.

Nice location It's been four years since we go, this year less clean, we were forced to change the sheets, towels less clean.
We took all the dinners at the Novotel restaurant and for the first year we were charged the bread 3 slices (we were 4) for 10 pounds.
I think the Novotel have lost their renamed.

Quiet hotel. Rooms suitable. Breakfast is poor — they didn't have it set out well and always running out of food!

This place is superb. The service was excellent. The room amazing and the bar had a very nice ambiance. Its very well located and I could not fault this place at all. Will definitely be visiting again in the near future.

Modern facility with really friendly staff, clean rooms, very good and plentiful breakfast. Great location, walking distance to Paddington station, very convenient to visit London. Excellent also the isolation from the outside environment: Despite roads and railroad nearby, you will not hear any noise.

The Hotel is very close to the subway station. It was a very nice hotel.

It's a nice hotel on a quite street near Paddington station. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Service is friendly and professional.

It is considered a Business hotel… But in the weekend it's full of families with kids. Great location near Paddington Station from where you can easily take Metro bus and taxi trains. Very close to little Venice. The location is unbeatable as the courtesy and comfort of the rooms. We thank all the staff for the kindness received.

Lovely experience, the room was clean, beds nice, the pillows were not to my liking (minor), and the workout room was well equipped. I did dine for evening dessert which was delicious, but the waitress never came back. This is my second positive experience with this business.

Very nice rooms and a friendly service. Breakfast is real nice, and so is the immediate vicinity, even though it's an office area. Walking distance to Paddington, which makes the hotel really convenient for Heathrow.

As always excellent on the level. But breakfast became scant and monotonous. The croissants are still just as excellent.

Hotel is pleasantly clean, only Internet runs unfortunately not stable. Therefore 1 point deduction.

We enjoyed a two night stay here while attending a family wedding. The staff, bar one grumpy waitress, were very friendly and obliging. The room rate was good so I recommend booking well in advance. Location is excellent. There was some noise from outside but it didn't go on until too late. Room spacious (standard) and very clean and the bed very comfy. Breakfast truly excellent with good choices. Would definitely return.

I had a bad experience with the check in, that can happen anywhere. There is nothing wrong with the place but what I didn't like was that it seems to be designed to be as 'soulless' as possible. Breakfast was good but not included in my rate.

Great modern hotel just a few minutes walk from London Paddington. The rooms are clean and of a good size. The staff are very friendly and there is a good bar, restaurant, and pool. Good for business, but also family stays. Right next door to the hotel is a supermarket, lots of cafés and restaurants.

Not bad at all. Had our room upgraded to an executive room thanks to my wife's gold membership. Room was clean and comfortable but, being on the top floor, we had a low bassy hum coming from the heating unit on the roof. They moved us to the floor below with no quibbles. Would have been helpful to know that the lockers in the health centre required change before I got down there without my wallet.

Great hotel! Visited it multiple times already and since it is so incredibly close to the Underground, you can very easily and quickly visit any place in London you want. The hotel rooms are fine the only problem that we had was that the shower door didn’t close properly so water would get everywhere. Furthermore, the swimming pool, sauna and steam room could provide you a very relaxing day as well.

Very well connected to the near and long-distance traffic hotel (Paddington Station — within walking distance about 5 minutes) in a new office area.
The breakfast is amazingly good and offers good selection of cold as well as hot dishes and five different juices. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The rooms have double glazing (built over two windows so that the trains that run to Paddington station do not hear a little). Unfortunately, the Windows can only be opened minimally, so good ventilation is unfortunately not possible. Air conditioning does not help with air exchange for fresh air. The bathroom is very small in a normal room (for reference: 521), but the rooms are larger. The toilet is physically separated from the rest of the pool.
It was not always everything (which could normally have been clean) completely clean (verwischbare stains on sheets, windows, mirrors) and also clothes lay on the evening after the house keeping often on the floor.

Would highly recommend this hotel! The rooms were big and clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Big thumbs up to the staff at the hotel that were so helpful and nice, super service-minded!

Small rooms for 3 or 4 people, no place to keep anything. Very old and used sheets.

Modern Novotel conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Paddington station and near the Sheldon square complex. Clean, spacious. Attentive staff. Corporate buffet lunch interesting in a good way : small portions of different dishes, lots of choice.

Pleasant Hotel in a newly built office District. Close to the Peddington station, very well connected to local Transport.

For a 4 star Novotel one of the worst I've been to. Rooms were not properly clean upon arrival, even pet bottles from the predecessors were in the ROOM. After a visit to the bar it was cleaned again. Even after the further cleaning goods still not desirable clean as I know it from other novotel. Also the Anschlissendem daily cleanings were rather moderate. The fitness equipment is also mostly Defective.
But the location is Great. Only 3min from the Metro and the train station and many restaurants in the immediate Vicinity.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I have been several times here and it is a modern and very nice hotel. The rooms are spacious, always very clean and comfortable in every way. On the ground floor, the restaurant-bar has enough things to choose from, and the atmosphere is nice, always with relaxing music and open spaces to enjoy a while. There is also free Wi-Fi included. There is a premium option, but unless you are going to do work videoconferencing from your room, probably the free will be more than enough. It is also very practical that to check-out suffices to deposit the card-key in a box that they have on the way out, without talking to anyone. You avoid queues and it's easier to get to the sites on time. In short, hotel highly recommended if you are going to be around this area.

The hotel is so good and Clean. The rooms that are offered for 2 adults and 2 children are extremely small (at the Novotel New York These are much larger) and have a clearly musty smell. The bathroom or The washing and shower are clean, functional but also extremely small. Breakfast is top and the dinner Acceptable. Everything in all we are accustomed by novotels in other international metropolises much better at Lower Prices.

A business hotel located in a charming business district, Paddington, close to the subway and the train station, the rooms are very large, the Prior check in business avoids the frustration of having to wait 14 hours or more to put your business or rest.
Quality of the rooms, loyal to Accor, very large, I think even with summer upgraded, king size bed and sofa, large desk, bathroom with bathtub and separate shower. Separate toilets in another room. Safe and other classic 4 star amenities. Everything is quality.
The hotel is adjoining the railroad but the rooms are of an almost unbelievable calm, high brightness.
The staff very cosmopolitan is good and welcoming, very presentable. Finally nothing to say of what rated LA, it feels good not to stumble on British disturbed when we speak an English too American for them.
There is a heated pool, a gym, a sauna that I have not tested.
A restaurant, a bar, a lounge area, meeting rooms.
Finally a hotel to do absolutely.

Very good location but London price.! … room 3pers = same space as for 2 but sofa bed… 50% more expensive… This makes bcp for breakfast-very very good and spa pool very nice.

First of all, the staff is super friendly. I did read some reviews claiming the opposite but then again I also heard how some guests talk to the staff. Should those guest be reminded they are talking to human beings that are in no sense worth less than themselves? And still, while hearing some customers treat staff as rude, the staff kept smiling and replying. So my bet is if you treat the staff like people, you get the chance to see their great willingness to serve you at your best. Being pregnant, I even got a pregnant-proof breakfast with hard boiled eggs, served at my table. Next to that, I love the pool and gym! Free to use for all guests, what a treat! Location is also great as the area is really safe and you get anywhere in London pretty fast from Paddington. I stayed here twice now for a couple of days and I will definitely come back on my next trip!

Nice, modern & spacious rooms. Staff were very polite & helpful at all times. Breakfast was nice although a tad on the expensive side. Small area for the kids included computer games, there was also an xbox in the room. There's a spa & gym that can be used by guests but we didn't use it. Location is great for access to Paddington Station & Hyde Park is a short walk away.

Efficient and friendly check-in. Room available earlier than expected which was excellent. Gift for our daughter was really appreciated. Room very clean and well stocked. Quiet room and comfortable beds made for good night's sleep. Fantastic breakfast with lots of options.

We chose this as it was close to Paddington for the Heathrow Express train. What we did not realize is how cool the hotel and surrounding area was. It was a nice change from other parts of London. There is a small river with river boats nearby, a grass amphitheater with a small grocery store and it was 3 minutes walk to get to Paddington. Oh yeah. The hotel is charming as well. Clean, modern. With a nice bar and friendly staff. Would go there again for sure!

We booked a family room for a four night stay.
Unfortunately the mini bar was down and it was hot enough.
We were offered either to drop our bottles in the fridge of the kitchen or to change rooms.
We decided to change rooms despite the small inconvenience that it implied.
What was not our surprise to see us propose a suite on the 11th floor with room, comfort, a breathtaking view of London and… a mini bar working perfectly.
The move was very quick with the help of the staff.
Another big thank you for this nice surprise.
We will choose this hotel again on our next visit to London with our little children.

We stayed 1 night via a special anniversary offer from Novotel so the price for B&B was excellent. The room was clean and the shower great which is the minimum we ask from hotels. Friendly staff and a lovely swimming pool were the other positives. The only area the hotel needs to look at is ensuring the hot breakfast buffet actually is hot rather than lukewarm. All in all a pleasant stay in a nice location surrounded by eateries.

Had an amazing stay at Hotel Novotel. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were really comfortable. The breakfast buffet was really good but a bit expensive. The swimming pool was a huge plus! Overall, a great place!

I stayed for 2 nights as part of a charity function. The service was excellent throughout. My room was well kept and very spacious with great facilities. It was quite dark but that was due to looking out onto another building. The food at every meal was delicious and the staff were very polite and helpful at all times especially the man in charge of food service. The hotel pool was brilliant and well maintained. It was perfectly situated for my morning runs to Hyde park and also to the train station. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again. Perfect!

Friendly greeting on arrival and helpful staff member for checking in process. The room was very comfortable, no external noise thanks to double glazed windows. All facilities you would expect including small mini fridge. I included the dinner package and thought it was excellent value. Great location in Paddington Basin area, pleasant 5 minute stroll along Canal to Paddington station. Very good walk the opposite direction to Little Venice.

Convenient location to Paddington train/tube & local shops. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Check-in process easy with the exception of issues of room keys which either did not work or would deactivated. Rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The only negatives: AC not working adequately, shower smaller your standard size, shower leaked out onto floor, and odor from sink.

I arrived with inside the waits to find in the hotel as imagined, in fact so it was, with a note towards the room which was a bit too small for three people. Otherwise of the Welcome to the breakfast all OK, there is to say that also as London area is very well located, close to the Metro is very central to easily reach the most nerve places. I would definitely recommend it if I come back I will certainly consider it again.

The hotel is close to the train station and therefore all the public transport which makes it easy to reach.
Located in a recent business Cartier the place is clean and there are several restaurant and trade around.
The fast lane on the edge of the hotel does not disturb the sleep because the windows are well insulated.
The hotel offers a gym a swimming pool and a very nice console after a day to relax.
Of course the staff is very welcoming and friendly we received a wonderful welcome.

The location of hotel is good near to Paddington Station. We stayed 10 nights in its standard twin room with good experience, such as the reasonable price for breakfast if booking a day ahead. Room is clean. However, the slipper is only arranged for executive room customers. The overall experience was good so far.

Room was fine. Never knew there was a pool and fitness suite at time of booking.

Nothing to complain. We enjoyed our stay here. Good location in walking distance to Paddington Station from where LHR is easily accessible. Definitely recommended.

In our three-week RWC final two days of the holiday, we stayed at the Novotel hotel. Hotel set is great, room was very small, but very clean, modern facilities – and you need toiletries, safe, mini fridge. The geographical position is superior, the Canal to London Paddington, very convenient, and around the decorations are gorgeous. Very friendly staff, great ability. Breakfast fresh and diverse, $ restaurant setting is very attractive. There was good and cheap meals. The only difference is strong. …

Great hotel. Superb rooms, clean and warm. An energetic team ans always there to help you.

Asked to park, got quite a snooty answer from staff. Our group was large, so asked for more chairs, got snooty attitude from staff. Service quite poor at the bar.

Twin rooms very comfortable with bigger than average beds. Separate toilet and bathroom within room. Rooms very comfortable and well insulated from outside noise. My family and I stayed here in December the hotel was fantastic clean and tidy, staff were very helpful we had a late check out which was great has are train was not till 4pm our children loved the Xbox in the room and can't wait to re visit the pool was warm and amenities were fab would highly recommend a visit ten minute walk from the station. Defiantly would go back.

I was only there for the night, arrived late and left early. Hotel was nice and only a short walk to Paddington. Was a little confusing to get to with the new development and not much signage in the area. My only annoyance is they forgot my wake-up call in the morning. Luckily I woke up anyway but could have been a disaster if I hadn't.

I was the time I went to London and I like quite also good location beside a train station and others the truth can not remember anything bad and highly recommended. What more I liked were the iMac which you could catch as well because if to be there a little while, not all hotels have computers and less iMac.

Budget hotel with all you need in a small space. Excellent location near Paddington station. There's a Tesco opposite for buying snacks and behind there is a the canal basin which is a wonderful place to sit and relax outside of your hotel room. At Paddington Canal Basin look out for the Rolling Bridge on Fridays at 12pm.
