We had delicious fish & chips with creative cocktails in the bar. The cocktail presentation was entertaining. Our experience began with a warm friendly greeting as we entered the front door and continued throughout our visit. This is a “must” when visiting London.

My daughter, granddaughter and myself had the high tea. It was amazing. The food was superb, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was outstanding. I had read an article in the Tea Time magazine and saved it for when I planned a trip to London. I would recommend this tea room to anyone wanting a very enjoyable experience.

I brought my mum for afternoon tea. Best I’ve ever had and I’ve done 5 before (including the 2 famous ones). Wonderfully attentive staff with nothing too much trouble. Food was excellent. In fact we took a doggy bag and I was eating the rest at 11pm that night (still lovely & fresh). Seriously, just book it!

The Milestone is simply wonderful! The staff could not have been more accommodating or gracious. The food was fantastic. From the moment we stepped out of the cab, they all made us feel like they were genuinely glad to see us. We will definitely stay here again. They deserve 5 stars in every category.

The Milestone Hotel is hands down my favorite hotel of all time. I've stayed in numerous upscale hotels, and I've never received the level of customer service that I received while staying here. My husband and I stayed here for a portion of our honeymoon, and it was superb.   The establishment itself is beautiful and highly maintained, and the location is convenient. Breakfast can be served to your room every morning at no additional charge, and their food is absolutely wonderful. We also had afternoon tea one of the days, and we had a blast! Such a perfect date. They brought us so much food we couldn't finish it all, and their tea is exquisite. Every staff member we came into contact with was kind and smiling. We let the concierge choose our dinner location every night, and they didn't steer us wrong! Thanks Tim and Teddy for the amazing local restaurant selections! Our first night they surprised us with a rose petal turn down with candles and champagne for our honeymoon. Every night after that, they left little bags of treats on the bed and turned on love songs on the TV. My husband and I stayed 4 nights here, and absolutely did not want to leave. Thank you for the amazing experience! We look forward to staying here again someday!

Great experience — lovely atmosphere and great food. This place specialised in Milestone hotel and mine was excellent. At first I thought the portions looked on the small side, but this was a classic case of eyes and belly, as the portion was just right. Will certainly revisit when back in London.

Fantastic hotel. Everyone on staff was so friendly and professional. It is a classy, upscale place but definitely not stuffy. Loved their high tea and breakfast. If you can afford to spoil yourself then this is where you want to stay. Every room or suite is unique. I travel a lot. This is a great place to stay.

By Gods Grace, I was 1 of 5 lucky winners on the Today show picked to attend the Royal wedding in London, and to stay at the breathtaking, exceptional customers service, and overall Gem. The head of the opulent 56 all suite luxury hotel is Andrew… He always greeted you with the biggest smile, warmest hugs, and loudest laughs. There never was a no during a stay, simply more so "let make that happen". We experience only the best of the best… From Caviar sandwich's and English Tea at High Noon, Triple Chocolate Ganache, with raspberry mousse on the side. Etc etc etc… Wake up calls came with Fresh hot tea, shortbread and a sweet note… One of the very personal touches that I love about this place is all the fresh flower… Most of all the flowers are Red, but you do get some pink rose served with your tea. I cant tell Andrew, Sunny, Steve at the front door! Lorena and anyone else, that I have forgot their name. Thank you enough for the bottom of my heart, this trip was more then I could have possibly dreamed! Also the Highlight off my trip was Sabering Champagne bottle… Yup I DID it…

We always book afternoon tea here, everytime we're visiting London. Always kind people who work here and good food, but the scones were a little dry the last tine we were there and I do miss a chocolate cake which isnt to sweet and a cake with more berries. A little to sweet and sugary this time. But all in all, will definetly be back.

It was a completely unique experience for us. Staffs are very attentive and friendly. Lovely home room, cozy atmosphere, excellant breakfast and elegance lighting. I really can't say enough great things and I cant wait to visit again.

We stayed in the Paris Suite for three nights and were impressed by the level of service. Upon checking in to the room, the Butler brings a tray of bath soaps from Crabtree and Evelyn for you to pick so you can use during your stay. The bathrooms are already equipped with 200ml as well as 50ml Penhaligons toiletries and soaps. The Stables Bar and the Conservatory are lovely. Both quaint while the Conservatory spots a black and white Art Decor theme with light from the glass ceiling and windows. Dining was at Chestersons. Had breakfast every morning where there was a selection that could last you over a week. Accompanying the ala carte selection was a small self service spread of cereals, breads, charcuterie and other accompaniments. Whilst everything here is cosy and intimate, the staff here are all very professional and friendly making sure that my stay was homely and enjoyable. Felt like family, for sure. The Oratory which was once a chapel from the 1880s can be converted into an intimate wedding setting for 8. When it is decked up with flowers it is absolutely stunning. The health club on the basement is equipped with a small resistance pool that keeps you swimming at the same spot. Sure was tiring. I couldn't last 30 seconds. The neighbourhood is peaceful and Kensington Palace and gardens are just across from the hotel.

Very smart location serving excellent afternoon tea and cakes, ideal if you want to completely splash out on luxury for 2 hours (i. E. For the wife's birthday).

Every part of my experience at The Milestone exceeded my very high expectations. I was worried that the staff would be able to sniff out that I was staying at a hotel way above my usual class, but the were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. My fiancee and I felt absolutely pampered. From the valet, to the concierge's dinner recommendations and subsequent reservations, to our complimentary room upgrade and hand-delivered treats. They even snuck in to place rose petals, candles, chocolates, and champagne when I mentioned that I would be proposing to my then girlfriend during our stay. I desperately hope to be able to return to this wonderful hotel.

The room was beautiful and the customer service was phenomenal! There is a reason that this hotel is priced so highly, but I can assure you that not a single pound you spend there goes to waste. The food was also fantastic! You get wonderful homemade cookies and champagne waiting for you in your room, a delicious breakfast buffet, and we even had warm biscuits with clotted cream and jam delivered to our door unrequested before dinner. My only complaint was that our King bed was actually two small beds pushed together, which really was only frustrating because they each had separate sets of sheets. It made sharing the large bed feel somewhat pointless. That aside, my night at the Milestone Hotel will likely remain one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life.

Cosy elegance with first class service We had a fabulous stay. My wife and daughter were in London to see a show and the hotel helped to make the trip so much more special. The staff were all, without exception, superb, helpful and genuinely friendly. The room had a view over the park with Kensington Palace dominating. So much so we were inspired to visit the Diana exhibition there that morning. Lyla loved to be in the room where Queen Victoria was born, and another where she was told she was Queen. The room was spacious and yet cosy. All the small touches which separate a truly exceptional hotel from a great one. The notes, the robes and slippers laid out, the treats. The supplied bedtime reading was a new and very charming perk. The sofa bed for our daughter was soft and huge, she was out like a light. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Fantastic service and attention to detail. One of the finest establishments I've been too. My parents stay when they come to London and the staff still know my name and my drink along with what the grandkids would like. Rooms are immaculate and spacious.

Went for a drink in the bar having lived in the local area my whole life. Lovely bar and have never had such good customer service, Angelo and Laura were beyond amazing and so lovely, going above and beyond. Will definitely be coming back for a quick drink regularly! Thank you Angelo!

We first stayed at the Milestone Hotel on August 26 1961, our wedding night. Our stay last weekend 22nd September was a birthday gift for my husbands 80th birthday. The hotel is a high quality boutique hotel and the decor, furniture and fittings reflect this. Its location is good, being near Kensington Gardens. The ambience is one of luxury and comfort with echoes of a more leisurely age. The room we stayed in certainly reflected this. The staff were very professional in dress, and demeanour, were extremely helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel is 5 star standard, the food/ drink, bar, and restaurant matches this and some. Good wine list and wide choice of spirits and beer, and non alcoholic drinks. Etc Mealtimes were a pleasure to look forward to. What more can one ask for in London on a week — end break or even longer if you are lucky. From stepping into the hotel on Friday until leaving on Sunday was a most pleasurable experience which we will repeat. Thank you.

I have been going to the milestone for 5 years and on average twice a week. I normally have the chicken pot pie as does my wife and finish our meal with a cappuccino in the lounge. I am lucky in my work to have traveled the world and stayed in many of the best listed hotels, the milestone in my opinion is the best hotel in the world. I have never encountered such consistent service and quality of staff and food anywhere else in any other hotel, this hotel is the true definition of 5 star! Mitchel reeve.

A real 5-star hotel. I wonder the US engineering company has choose this hotel. Just for an overnight upon an invitation for an interview. For me, those days a young ambitious engineer. No question, the best in this area. All popular places and shops nearby. Real English. Real Brittain. Ease access to underground. Friendly staff. Business price level… God save the queen. Thank you!

This hotel was such a welcome surprise. The historic ambiance combined with impeccable service made for a one of a kind experience. Location was perfect. Close to everything there is to see. Rooms are nostalgic and inviting. Staff is on hand at a moment's notice should need anything. Leo, Pranav and Lorena were the most gracious hotel managers I have ever encountered. I hope to stay here the next time I visit London. Love this hotel!

This place is a hidden secret. I didn't stay at this hotel, but it's a nice place to meet — it's nice and quaint, very private. Will go back for tea in the veranda — make sure you make reservations as it gets booked quite quickly!

I attended the milestone hotel for afternoon tea with my wife and kids and can honestly say it was amazing. The staff were fantastic and were always on hand to help. The food was just divine and the portions were more than enough, infact we brought home what we couldn't eat. A truly fantastic day.

Last summer, we were in this hotel, had a great time. This place is very comfortable, easy to find, the receptionist was also great to attractions is also very convenient for customers, very practical, is a very nice place.

I have lived in Europe a number of luxury hotels… to list a few, London and Paris, the Ritz Hotel, Italy Esther's estate. I don't think I've ever felt staying in the landmark hotel, comfort and sincere welcome. The British charm has reached extremes that no detail is missed.
