A very friendly run hotel which brought us back for another enjoyable weekend. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff so it makes for a wonderful relaxed stay. Complimentary beer and wine are available as well a a delicious array of Tapas. Very close to tube station too. A lovely terrace to enjoy in this great weather also.

It’s a shame that such a beautiful hotel has such a terrible staff. I would have really liked to enjoy my stay here but almost every encounter I had with the staff was off putting. Very rude and not very helpful. I did enjoy the hotel’s effort to conserve energy and reduce waste. But I would not recommend staying here.

The staff has been very accommodating and the breakfast is amazing.

At check in we were told we had to pay another 409 pounds to include our 2 children in the room (ages 2/5) so we could have another bed which we explained we didn’t need because they sleep with us. So that was a HUGE blow to our trip. Breakfast in the “special” lounge for true more expensive rooms was amazing. Great selection, quiet and refined. Gym was decent!

Con artists! When you book direct you are supposed to get £15 per night room credit. Problem 1 — the credits are “not accumulative” so if you don’t spend it each day you lose it. Problem 2 — the credit can’t be used for things like laundry. Neither of these things are explained at check-in, just in the fine print on their website. Net result — instead of getting £45 credit for our three night stay we got £15 and had to pay £70 for incidentals instead of £40. Complained on check-out, got a complete runaround from desk staff and manager who were so consistent and rehearsed in their responses that they obviously get many complaints along similar lines. Bottom line — they got £30 extra revenue but I’ll never stay in a Meliá property again.

As always great with Melia! Only the breakfast room is not the most beautiful. Otherwise everything is great!

We had to be placed on 3 different floors even booking 3 months prior. The rooms were poorly appointed and hot. After all this someone in our party lost her wallet in the room and after talking to the hotel and being assured it was mailed at our expense and then found out a week later that they had not mailed it delaying a young girls college orientation due to no drivers license. We would never stay at this hotel ever again.

Chic hotel with nicely decorated rooms. These are somewhat small but completely sufficient. There is also a small fridge. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The location is also a great starting point to explore the city. The breakfast was too expensive for us, we dodged on a pret'manger just around the corner. There is also a small supermarket in the immediate vicinity. The price-performance ratio is definitely right for London. Happy to :) again There is a star deduction as the bathroom was not perfectly clean. There were a few water stains that don't have to be.

Spanish hotel chain, the building is located in the north of Fitzrovia right next to Regent's Park and is intensively used by businessmen and Spanish-speaking tourists. Check-in and out take a touch longer than usual, the air conditioning should be deactivated better at night. In the lobby there is water for refreshment.

My friend and I just returned from a 10 day stay at the Melia White House in London. Both of us agreed that we would absolutely stay here again and recommend it highly! It is in walkable distance of most London sights and if you are not into walking; very close to several underground stations. There are many pubs in the vicinity as well as excellent restaurants right in the hotel. It is located in an extremely safe neighborhood. Loved it here!

Booked this hotel as we have stayed here before, we mentioned we would be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary we had booked a suite at the level as this was a very special occasion for us. When we checked in glass of champagne handed to us along with being told they had upgraded us to the best suite in the hotel. We can not praise the staff for helping us make this a very special stay. In the photo that I attached, bas-relief from the bathroom, yes-mould. But The hotel is located perfectly, Regent's Park is close by, Madame Tussaud, the Museum of Sh. Holmes. Metro 5 minutes walk. Basically you can walk on a guided tour to the center of the walk, which we did. That's all right. Great hotel, in the city center, near the park. The staff is friendly and ready to help. Breakfast was good. The rooms are spacious.

Location: The hotel is located in a very convenient location, close to 2 metro stations. The center and tourist resorts are literally 10 to 15 minutes.

Breakfast: The omelette is prepared on site, there is also scrambled eggs. The selection of cheese and sausage is pretty good. Of the vegetables, there were only cucumbers and tomatoes. In general, the breakfast was satisfied.

Room Premium: The room itself is sufficient for two people. The bathroom is too small. The sink is very small, if you make the water full, the water has no time to go, you have to wait. In general, the room was well cleaned, but the bathtub and the room windows are not well cleaned.

Service: Friendly staff, everything explained and shown on the map where and what you can find.

Pros: Counter position: Waiting at check-in and booking management; The sheets were not changed on arrival.

Location: the Hotel is in a very convenient location, near 2 metro stations. To the centre and tourist spots literally 10 to 15 minutes. 5 balls. The hotel of the Spanish in London. Service very friendly and available. Breakfast improvable. Service in Spanish on the part of the majority of the employees. Appropriate decoration, a bit past, but typical british. Bathrooms are outdated and the carpet.

Very central and nice Hotel. We had to take very little Metro as to many of the major museums, tourist attractions, parks, etc. You get there walking, so I think it has a pretty good location. The room was not large but not too cramped and the bathroom was small, ideal for one person. The Personalun friendly and most spoke Spanish. I would stay at this hotel again.

The location is perfect. Small rooms. Good breakfast. Be quiet. Clean. Recommend.

We won't be back. We arrived and assigned a lower quality room to which we had hired. To fix it they asked us surcharge (for something that we already had paid and that we will claim on the return). The level service is not worth it and the Dinner restaurant service does not work well. The waiters only go to the downtown area of the dining room. No one asks if you want to drink something. Take a lot to replenish the food (and some do not replenish). They should take better care of the customers. It hurts because of the number of Spaniards who work here. I'm not coming back.

We will not return. We arrived and we were allocated a room inferior to the one that we had hired. To fix it they asked us for an extra charge (for something that we had already paid and that the back claim). The service level is not worth the effort, and the service of restaurant for dinner does not work well. The waiters are only going to the center of the dining room. No one asks if you want to drink something. Take a lot to replace the food (and not replenished). Should take care of much more customers. I am hurt by the amount of Spanish that work here. I won't go back.

Hive Hotel with poor personality, cute entrance, small rooms, indecent bathrooms with seventies plastic stoppers, stained carpet, all seasoned with grand hotel attitude that doesn't exist. Only the Italian girls of the reception are saved, very good.

Lovely stay at Meliá. We were upgraded for free and stayed on a Saturday night. Breakfast was vast and delicious. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lovely room, great bed. Great time.

Very well located with store, Metro and bus nearby, this hotel has a super nice staff, good standing with nice comfortable rooms and all kinds of services. A bar is also present with a room for good breakfast (quite expensive but full). Meetings can be made.

The greatest thing about this hotel is it's location and the price. I paid below 200quid per night and was able to use the Warren st subway to access most of London very easily. Also, easy walk up to regents park area and all the way upto Camden market which was an absolutely delight.

We have stayed here many times and always enjoyed our visits. It is a modern and comfortable hotel that has well trained and customer focused staff. Rooms are typically small as usual for city hotels but are clean and smartly decorated. Breakfast is good value. Room rates are reasonable for central London.

That's why you will find in the room not only British, but also, for example, European plugs. We didn't have breakfast as it is overpriced in all hotels in whole London (£23 (! ) per person). We will definitely be back!

Very small cramped rooms! If you do not leave the air conditioning on, you can freeze. For some reason, for two all the time left one set of soap-splints. Too insistently offer to clean the room. The front desk staff are not very happy in solving any problems. The only good location is near the subway and bus stop.
I think the price for it is inflated. For this money you can and more successful hotels to find.

The hotel is very nice. Very good breakfast Good service. A single defect. The mattresses are very outdated. In their day they would be good mattresses but currently they stick the springs in the ribs. They need to be renewed. A shame because the hotel is 10 but this fact le discredits.

Great location and in the heart of London. Hop skip jump to Great Portland station, Regents park station and Red Bus stops for almost all of zone 1 & 2. Very close to Regent's Park ⛲ for your lovely morning runs. Breakfast spread is great. Rooms are much bigger than many central london hotels and service is always with a smile. Have been there more than 4 times so it's definitely worth a go.

Because there are no blankets in the rooms!

Upon arrival, the hotel was spotless, clean and staff were very nice. Check-in was a breeze and I was escorted to my room (part of the tour package I learned). Now I expected the room to be a bit smaller than I used to in the US, but this room was a little tighter than expect. Wow. However, the bathroom made up for it. A beautiful bathroom, very warm and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was better than expected. I was expecting a standard continental breakfast, not a full spread. I was in London three days for work. The hotel was selected by the company's travel agency.
Room: When I arrived in the afternoon they already had the room ready and ready to go up. I got the 511 which is a very large room (I think it's called Premium King bed), with a huge double bed (it would be 2 meters wide), a working table, an auxiliary table and a chair. To use it as a base of operations and work on the last day until checkout time is more than fine.
The hotel has free Wi-Fi with a not very high speed. The first day was hard to connect, but then everything OK. The bed, as I said, was large, very comfortable, with a very light and warm duvet and with two types of pillows to choose from. Well soundproofed even though it gives out to the street and well insulated from the sun with the curtains. The room temperature control system Although it works well (cools and heats the room pretty fast), is not as accurate (or constant) as the last one I was in Venice and tends to "pass" a little cold or heat before jumping and regulating the temperature to the indicated option, so the temperature changes are noticeable. But again, it works properly, it's more of a taste issue.
The bathroom is quite large and very well equipped, the bathtub has a normal "artichoke" with a couple of modes, WC, sink, hairdryer, etc, all very clean and careful.

Very friendly reception and good service. The hotel is very well connected to public transport (subway station just across the street). The room was very clean, and the beds are super Comfy. English and Continental breakfast, both Delicious. In the dry Martini bar There are very exceptional good cocktails. I'm Sure we'll be back.

Lovely comfy rooms in a beautiful hotel right next to Regent's Park. The best part though for our toddler was the kids corner at the buffet restaurant. A little space filled with toys and with an amazing kid friendly spread of fruits, veggies, yogurt, etc. We had a nice meal and she was busy the whole time!

Great hotel well placed for Euston and the west end. Nice relaxed atmosphere, classy decor and a superb restaurant. Bit noisy outside, but otherwise great! Recommended!

Small stuffy rooms… yes it's London and I understand rooms are small, but this was really small, especially the bathroom. Thank goodness the windows opened as there was no air either. My room was hot and humid (despite it not being very warm outside) and pretty unpleasant. Being London the downside of open windows is 24/7 noise. All in all I've had far better in central London for less.

Very good hotel in London close to St Pancras Station (1 Metro stop from the train station) and close to the city centre. Ideal for sightseeing and shopping! The reception is very friendly. Attention to the different categories of rooms to not be disappointed.

I've never been told No or that I couldn't do something so many times at a 4-star hotel. The level service staff were great but other than that terrible service. Obviously no ones first language was English so communication was painful. Had to kill spiders in the room on the 7th floor. Food was stale, coffee sucked. No one helped with the luggage for my young family and I hope we make our flight (wouldn't let us back in room to retrieve baggage as Checkout had passed, yet they failed to communicate Checkout time). I would've given 0 stars if that was possible. Good luck figuring out the elevators on your own while the 30 person staff in the lobby mingles or sits on their phones. Confused how this place has managed a 4 star rating so long — the illusion didn't do it for us. Hope you have a good stay elsewhere.

Very nice hotel and a comfortable one too. Staff are very, very accommodating which is always a plus! With regards to prices, I wouldn't know as it was a business trip, so the company arranged the bookings. Location-wise, very good! Warren Street station, which gives you access to Victoria and Northern Line, is nearby (about 8min walk). Loads of restaurants, pubs, and cafés nearby — but not too close that you hear all the noise. The property is very quiet. We were on the 7th floor which gave us a really good view too!

The restaurant was FANTASTIC! It's a serve yourself buffet and the choices are tremendous! It was perfect for me as I'm on Slimming World (as well as being vegetarian), so I could have the soup and an immense plate of gorgeous mixed salad and I was stuffed and incredibly HAPPY because it was so delicious! We were there for our Grandson's first birthday and they had been kind enough to bring out a cake and they offered to take photos for us all! The wait staff were very quick to remove empty plates. The decor of the hotel is beautiful and it smells divine! Don't miss this WONDERFUL place!

Arrived at the reception to book in and enquired what floor the gym was on to be told that it was under refurbishment therefore closed. This was not advertised on their website at time of booking therefore I was disappointed with my choice of hotel. When I asked where there was a gym I was informed I had just passed one… not sure how they knew which way I walked to the hotel. When asked again I was told it was next door. Unfortunately 3 members of staff behind the reception could not tell me what time it opened/closed but were able to tell me that it came at a cost to myself. Poor show. Bar lovely and waiter very attentive. Very well positioned in close access to a variety of transport links. Will not however be staying again.

The hotel itself is OK and has an ultra-friendly staff. The rooms however have old carpet, minimal soundproofing and current outlets away from the bed (there is a plus: they also have the European grip). You will regret the new boutique hotels that have equal price.

Completely disorganised. Queues everywhere. Took hours to check in, IT systems continually down.
Room ok.
Long queue for breakfast which then felt like being in a school dinner hall.
Drinks in bar prohibitively expensive.

A prestigious Hotel in a strategic area of London nearby bus and metro connections. Great lounge bar Inside "Dry Martini" where they serve great cocktails! Super recommended.

Location excellent, rooms beautiful, reception very friendly and efficient. The staff in particular are superb which we have always found in Sol and Melia hotels in Spain. The excellent breakfast made up for the buffet dinner we had the previous evening. We will definitely be returning.

Well located hotel. Spacious rooms, fairer basin (the worst shower which is fairly high) but all very well equipped (since soaps that reset each day, to a powerful hair dryer, to a table and iron if the clothes are wrinkle).
Breakfast is more than correct, with a very extensive buffet.
The staff is very attentive and friendly.
L'albufera restaurant very well also. Although the price may scare the food was very good and the exceptional service. I highly recommend the Octopus to grilled potato revolcona.

The take away bar is good, has variety and at a reasonable price. The only dealbreaker is Tuesday pasta (the live cooks always mess it up). Also one day I got intoxicated by eating baked tuna (not canned tuna from the salad bar) and had to go to hospital. The receptionist at Meliá laughed when I tell her…

Attended a business meeting at thia hotel this week. The hotel is less than 2 minutes walk from great Portland Street tube station. The hotel's public areas and meeting room were clean and gave out a sense of luxury. The buffer style food provided was not bad at all.

The hotel has no AC from 8pm until 8am. I was told this by the desk and also the maintenance manager. So in the middle of the night your room is very hot. Opening a little window helps but the road noise is daunting. Also Wi-Fi various a lot but in my room it was 1 meg or less down and upstream it was even slower. In the lobby it was about 7 meg by 7 meg. The bed was extremely hard. When I woke from the hot room I also had a sore lower back. I was offered a desk fan. Canceled my remaining five days and switch to a lessor hotel but it has AC. Melia has a very nice breakfast and is by far the highlight of the hotel.

Rooms are quite dated and service is extremely stuffy. Breakfast was fine but very overpriced. This is a hotel that is stuck in the past — it's trying to be luxury but is delivering luxury for the 80s, not for today.

Good and cosy location. Expensive, but worth it.

Stay was 7 days. First thought: why are there steps leading from the entrance to the reception when everyone traveling through will have luggage? Breakfast: First day of breakfast was chaotic. The staff were uncoordinated, there seemed to be little communication amongst them, and little desire to help each other out. Of the 7 days, only on one of those days was my coffee ever refilled without my prompting (tiny cup, few people, idle staff). I'm also curious as to why the staff almost always fill the coffee only 3/5 of the way full — one or two gulps and it's gone. The coffee itself is not very strong, so drink a lot of it! Room I liked the room, except, as others have mentioned, the lack of proper lighting. At night, it's rather dark even with all the lights on.

Very helpful at reception, with the usual quality of the Melia chain. Very well located, right in front of a metro station, but with little offer of restoration to its around. Fairly small room, the space just to open your luggage, and because they were in hand. Very elegant decoration. Clean bathroom with enough amenities, but not clean them to spend them.

A nice and calm hotel less than 10 minutes walking distance from Great Portland Street. And dont forget to check out their Langford Bar where you can have your whisky and watch a match at the lounge.

We feel at home, I was with the family at the Puente del Pilar. We put nickname Hotel 21, because it is a 21-minute walk from the British Museum, Oxford Street, etc. Stop less than 50 metres from Metro. Perfect to see across London. Mostly in Spanish and perfect treatment. We will return.

Decent sized rooms which are clean, comfortable and quiet while still in a central and nice area of London. One tip I'd give UK based guests is to bring a multi socket adapter as there is only a couple of sockets which fit UK plugs, but useful for European guests there are sockets in the room already for these plugs. Staff are helpful and accommodating although service at the bar area is a little slow. Seating for breakfast took a little time although I think we hit it at peak time (930am) as at 1030am the queue had gone and tables were free. The breakfast was a buffet style with both continental and full English options which were replenished quickly, although the toaster seemed to only toast on one side! Due to the fact we were guests of a larger party, we didn't check ourselves in, so I'm unsure of what information we would have been given on check in, but we weren't aware what time checkout was — even the checkout form which was put through our door didn't say, but on hunting online I found out was by 12pm. I recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

Great hotel in a great place, just besides the beautiful Regents park. I totally recommend it. Well appointed room — clean, modern and with huge window letting the light flood the room. Don't miss the great and complete bufett breakfast at "the place" (even better if you get it after a run in the park). The staff is very very pleasant, and the installations are very good as well. If I come back to London, I would go to the Melia white house again, that's for sure! :).

I was lucky to take an offer because the price per night is often haunt the € 200.
Its location is unbeatable and has nothing to do with the 'cutreces' that are usually found by the center of London.

I haven't slept in the hotel myself, but from my two visits to their restaurant I can say their food is pretty good quality. There is a lot to be desired in terms of overall flavor as on both occasions the food served was quite bland. The atmosphere and quality of service however are exceptional, all staff are extremely friendly and attentive and give attention to detail where it counts.

This hotel is charging your credit card without request. Pay cash! Any discussion will lead to nothing. Mind the mini-bar. It uses electronic counting for billing but this is not working correctly. Awfull elevator. It can take more than 10min during the morining to go down.

One of the best quality price in London. It has a good bar and an excellent restaurant, in addition to many employees who speak Spanish, so you will feel at home. Rooms are very good although the normals are not large, but very neat. Okay having European outlets and free Wi-Fi. It is also well located as it has various pubs close and Soho walk is only 15 minutes away.
