Love to keep going back to this place friendly welcome clean rooms with ensuit. Good value for your money. The quietest place I have stayed in London. 5 minutes away from the tube and buses. Breakfast is English or continental. Phil is a great host. Thankyou again brilliant stay.

Good location near a Northern tube station, comfortable bed and excellent English breakfast. Couldn't ask for more from a B&B.

Martel guest house is about 5 minutes walk from Golders Green tube station. There are a lot of great places to eat by Golders Green. The owner met us to let us in and the room was clean and a good size with en-suit shower room. There was a fridge provided and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was included and was a substantial continental breakfast (toast, cooked breakfast on request, cereal, fruit, bead and cheese and meats). The main criticism was that our room was at the front of the house, ground floor, so you hear people going in and out which could be a bit disturbing. Also, the curtains were quite thin and too short therefore letting quite a bit of light in. However, these are small criticisms which can be rectified with an eye mask and earplugs. In conclusion, I thought that Martel guest house was good value, in a good location, clean and had a great breakfast. I would recommend.

Very convenient — great location, quiet but close to transport and shops. Clean and comfortable. The owner helpful and accommodating with a quirky sense of humour. Loved it.

Almost a year ago after leaving London to travel for a bit I stayed here in this absolutely perfect and relaxed guest house. I enjoyed the tranquility and quiet atmosphere of the place and the owner a really well respected chap who catered for everyone and was always their with his staff who kept the house clean well maintained but lived in. Standards here are well above average and the prices actually not too bad considering the location the stunning garden and other very helpful things like air conditioning and very wholesome breakfast including a full English freshly cooked and healthily so using proper Italian olive oil and Italian tomatoes. Delicious and it's no real surprise why his reviews are all excellent on other websites too. I recommend this place to anyone anybody no one will feel excluded and in fact you'll love the ambience and quietness.
