Room ok, very noisy, location is perfect for an event at the o2. Breakfast was terrible. I went up twice to be told everything had run out! We went down for breakfast at 845am. Finally had food out at 915am. Staff were rude! Coffee machine ran out of milk so coffee selections were disgusting. My hot chocolate was a cold chocolate. It was just terrible. I would not recommend. You would think they would be prepared for a busy breakfast but they were not! We regularly attend events at the o2 but I would not stay here again.

I turn up to hotel without money and card, haven't realised that I left my purse at home in Edinburgh, Scotland. 04/07 around 10pm at the reception I've met most helpful lady Anna, she guided me through and within few minutes my mistake was fixed and I could go to my room.

Read the fine print when you book! Cancelled a room within 7 days of booking, for reasons which I won’t go into on Facebook… charged the full rate of the room which was £152 (which has now been allocated to another poor sod) … no attempt at refunding any of the the room, or showing the tiniest bit of empathy! They should be ashamed! Daylight robbery. I will never stay in a holiday inn (or any IHG hotel for that matter). There are much nicer hotels in the area who actually value their guest… stay there instead!

Booked a family room for 4 which turned out to be a normal room with a double sofa bed in. This means there is no room to even unpack your case or even walk around your bed. I personally think it’s a fire hazard. Went to speak to reception and did not want to help at all. All they were interested in was trying to get more money out of me. If I wanted to pay the price they quoted, I would never have booked this hotel. Not happy at all.

Good/great! Well room cleanliness, hearty and varied buffet breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Dinner a little less well (taste question). Nearby bus service. The only flaw: no one spoke in Italian, although the description of the hotel said that the staff spoke multiple languages, including Italian.
The price is also great.

Lovely room for £99! Breakfast included. Great location for the O2 Arena, you can walk there in 10 minutes. Lovely staff and reasonably priced bar.

Wonderful beds in our rooms. Slept like a baby. Breakfast was really delicious too. So much to choose from. Staff was very kind and helpful. Only issue was the icecold bathroom floors. I recommend this hotel.

Aside from being near the O2, felt that the choice of walking distance restaurants were a bit limited with around 5 give or take. In terms of amenities, there was an electric kettle which was great and the availability of tea and instant coffee in room and in a large container near the front desk. Did not have lotion or conditioner, unfortunately, nor did I try asking front desk. Laundry is a service, don't believe the actual machines were out and available for our own use. Breakfast was great! Nice selection of drinks (milk, juice, various cover, and hot chocolate), some fruits, various toasts, muffins, and condiments, along with cereal and hot foods of scrambled eggs, bacon/ham sausage, and beans. Overall, despite feeling that some things could always be better, we were happy with our stay. Room was clean. Service friendly enough.

Rooms were what you would expect from a holiday Inn express. Nice comfortable and clean. Overall staff were friendly and helpful, some of the clientele were questionable but this may be due to the location. What really let this hotel down was the breakfast and the serious lack of options. There were 4 cereals and 4 hot items. Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages and beans. No mushrooms or has browns, not even tomatoes. I understand the budget nature but other similarly marketed hotels offer a much wider range of items. What was available was ok to good. It filled a hole. Not somewhere I'll be booking again unless absolutely necessary.

Had a really nice stay, really comfy beds clean room big enough bathroom, nice choice of breakfast very friendly and helpful staff close to the O2 which was d reason for booking, only 3 stops away on the underground to Westfield shopping center in Stratford had a really nice time would highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Greenwich London.

Thieves operate in this hotel! I stayed here in February 2017. I didn’t post any review at the time as I don’t like to cause a fuss or any issues but as I have read many other reviews of people who have had items stolen I thought I’d add mine. There is clearly some stealing operation going on in this hotel as things are conveniently stolen when guests go to breakfast etc and although this happens on a regular basis and the hotel had been advised to fitCCTV in the hotel, this hasn’t been done. Makes me question why? Anyway this review is over a year later and I’m still fuming about my stolen items which included Michael Kors bag, ted baker purse, iPad and jewellery. Will never return to this hotel or a holiday inn ever again. Such a shame as this hotel is in an ideal location but clearly run by thieves.

Meeting friends who were staying at the hotel. Whilst the hotel is easy to see from the main road it is not obvious where the access road is to enter the hotel grounds. The car park was completely full and we only managed to get a space after waiting for someone to leave. Good location if you are visiting the O2, but other then that I wouldn't want to stay here.

Essential but equipped you all the comforts, modern and clean, excellent reception and low prices considering also breakfast included and connections, short distance from Metro.

It's a nice place to stay for a single person or maybe 2 at the max since rooms are small with minimal/no cupboards. Definitely not for families. They serve free breakfast as well and have a set menu for all day dining as well. The O2 is nearby (walking distance), so is the Charlton shopping center which offers a great deal of options for shopping. Odeon cineplex is also very close by. Also there is a Chinese restaurant at ground floor which serves good authentic cuisine and not over priced. Staff here is welcoming and helpful.

Plus points: Staff friendly and welcoming. Room clean. Minus points: Ordered food and it took ages, when it arrived it was not cooked — some of it was still raw (they refunded money). Room expensive and had to pay extra for parking. Room pretty noisy. Draught beers off so had to buy expensive bottle. Sterile boring hotel but that’s what these places are these days aren’t they? Would give one star but staff were nice.

Significantly cheaper than some of the alternatives, we tried to manage our expectations and keep them low. Well, we were very pleasantly surprised The room was very pleasant (a little bit on the small side but really can't complain given the price), breakfast was definitely ok considering some of the reviews we read — they even accommodated is and provided vegetarian sausages. The staff is hard working and friendly We will be coming back here for our next O2 gig — especially since the bar was open until 1:00

The room was clean and nice. Iron and TV available. Most staff very polite. Food was ok apart from coffee machine not working and a sausage looking too pink in the middle. Yogurt and fruit was very nice.

This travel lodge was really nice and clean, the beds were lovely… the whole rooms were really. Only gripe is no bath but the shower was great. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were brilliant. Really impressed with the reception staff.

Stayed at this hotel a number of times and really like it as ideal location. Only 15 minute walk from O2 just off the A2 and easy transport links to central London. Rooms are basic but well decorated and welcoming. Breakfast is included in the price although this is pretty basic.

Great hotel, especially for visitors to the O2 as this is only a ten minute walk away. The food from the bar restaurant was very good on the evening and the breakfast was excellent. Little things like USB charger sockets right by the bed shows that they've really considered the layout and usability of the rooms too.

Great stay here. The room was perfect. Clean and very well set out. Only downside was that the shower pressure wasn’t very good. We had a pizza from the restaurant in the evening and in the words of my husband “it was divine” and I must agree. It was also nice that the bar is open until very late so we could enjoy a drink at the end of our evening. The breakfast buffet was delicious even if food did keep running out but the staff did their best to keep on top of it. Would definitely stay here again and will look to stay in holiday inns when travelling elsewhere.

Enough for a city trip. It's a little off-the-subway.

One of the worst Holiday Inn ever visited. The reception messed up our reservation and the receptionist couldn't figure how to settle the error. Breakfast is poor and low quality (orange juice water diluted to the extreme, coffe from the automatic machine just not drinkable). Have asked for the earlier payment at my checkout and all invoices were mixed up with my other colleagues… They even could not locate the original check in form. We asked the reception to print our boarding cards but their access was locked and had no password to check their hotel mail. On the positive side, the room are clean and well maintained. Unfortunately only UK channels.

Good location for the 02. Nice room. Helpful staff. We had a problem with the a/c unit leaking water and was moved to another room and had an extra person staying all done with no fuss.

Hotel is nice rooms are clean. There is no secure parking. I parked on the street at the back of the hotel and within 2 hours my van was broken in to. Not the hotel's fault at all but Westfield's is 15 minutes walk away and parking is secure and has CCTV.

I really thought I wouldn't like staying here when my partner booked it. It's a good ten minutes walk from the nearest underground and let's face it, it's supposed to be a cheap and cheerful chain. You know what though, it's really good! OK, it's still a walk out from the O2 but the place is clean, tidy and fresh both in the rooms and in the main, communal areas. The beds are comfy and the staff are really polite. I've had worse service as three times the cost. Breakfast is a buffet, a bit like you'll get in the States for the same money but without the pancakes and biscuits but it's filling and good enough, rather than fantastic, hence 4 out of 5

Great breakfast, and plentiful, We had a family room and it was spacious for four. Nice view of the O2, and easy access to transportation. Food was excellent, both the breakfast and the restaurant were fantastic. Friendly staff and very competent. Light fixture at the side of the bed was hard to use, but otherwise, it was a solid stay. Clean, comfortable, and pleasant. Breakfast was the best here, of all the hotels I've stayed at in London.

The service provided was great, the food came out at a good pace. You could tell the food had just been cooked but the taste in quality was mediocre however it was still better than other places. The aesthetics of the place could also be improved but it was generally a good experience.

We had a good time staying here. The staff here was excellent and definitely did their best to accommodate us. Unfortunately we had to switch rooms for our second day. Our first room the a/c didn't work and in our second room the bathroom sink was leaking. Outside of those couple of problems, which they offered us complementary drinks for our troubles, the stay was great. I would definitely recommend and return.

Reception staff were extremely helpful and looked after us on arrival. We had an accessible room which was very spacious and well laid out. Plenty of space for our wheelchair and other stuff. It would be difficult to find any major faults when comparing to other hotels of this type. We have stayed at several Holiday Inn Express and this is one of the best. Would certainly stay here again.

Good Hotel for a not high budget. Better to be in the car but you can also access by public transport.

Convenient for those who have to attend an event at the O2 Arena in fact you can go on foot, easily accessible by Metro and then move to London.

I would stay there again though I don't have to attend an event at the arena which however just take the metro which is just outside the arena and go wherever you want.

The location is very nice, well connected. The rooms are wide for what they cost. The staff is really friendly!

Nice rooms. Good location. Stayed one night. Would recommended. The tube was easy to get to and quickly got you to your destination in downtown. Beds were the best hotel bed ive ever slept on.

I was there for a training event and the facilities in the room were a bit ancient. The video projector didn't have an HDMI output only a vga output which of course the trainer's laptop couldn't connect to. The staff didn't have an adapter for it either which meant that the training started late and a few of us had to miss out on some of it while they returned to work to hunt for an old laptop with a vga output. The staff did print out the PowerPoint presentation while we waited.

We had a great stay at the holiday Inn, staff were friendly and had the answers to any question's we asked, location is great, the hotel is within Walking distance to the 02 arena and London marathon starting zones. Rooms are nice and clean.

Very convenient location for O2, getting back to the hotel was quicker than getting through the crowd for the tube. Rooms a bit tired, breakfast was typical holiday inn express except the water ran out meaning no drinks. Just one of those things that happen. Service good, staff good, car parking available for £10

Well kept hotel with a great breakfast. Staff all seemed friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and tidy. Not the most beautiful views in the world out of the window but it was quiet and didn't do any harm! About a 20 minute walk to some of the nice pubs on the Thames.

Clean, basic, but enough to get your head down. Wasn't amazing, wasn't bad.

This will be my 3rd year staying at this hotel for the Wwe Wrestling at the 0'2 Arena which is only a 10 min walk. My only gripe was the bed-settee was very awkward to sleep on as the metal frame was uncomfortable and my head kept sinking into the base. Breakfast is brilliant as you can help yourself to what you want 6.30 am till 10.30am I believe. Overall a little expensive but what do you expect for the area and it's only once a year for me to stay here. Sainsbury's is just around the corner 10 min walk and if you love football Charlton football ground is 30 min walk along with the Thames Barrier 40 min walk. I would high'ly recommend the ANCHOR AND HOPE pub on the Thames for a meal as it's excellent food and just 20 min walk.

We booked three rooms and had to pay £120 a night! Then got given disabled access rooms — not the standard room. Sheets did not smell clean and the room just looks tired not what I expect from Holiday Inn as I have stayed many times. Wouldn't stay again! Way too expensive.

A good hotel to stay in London. An underground starion is near.

Price for 1 night is a bit steep I was looking for something in the price range of £70-£100 for 2 people and bed was uncomfortable kept getting up to strech my back because I was in pain.

Decent Hotel. Stayed here for a week. Breakfast served is good. Wi-Fi available all round the hour and speed was acceptable.

Perfect hotel if you are going to the O2. Easy tube access to North Greenwich. 10 min walk to hotel. Great views. Rooms are great too. Even firm or soft pillow choice!. Staff are great and worked long hours and kept bar open for us until 4am (must appreciated). Breakfast good. Sausages lovely and little muffins so fresh.

Great value hotel. Lovely and clean. Within walking distance of the O2 and transport links. Bit cheaper as a little bit out of town but near buses and tube so don't really matter.

I haven‘t stayed at this hotel but I have eaten on a number of occassion at the Chinese restaurant based at this hotel on the bottom floor. firstly the look and feel of this place is great very spacious, the staff are very friendly, and courteous. the food is well cooked and nicely presented and the most importantly the prices are great. I tried the lobster in salt and pepper and that was very very good. I will strongly recommend this restaurant.
