Attended a wedding brunch. Very positive experience. Attentive staff, delicious food, obliging Chefs. Highly recommended.

Great little hotel in a perfect location next to Tate Modern, and two local grocery stores open daily till 11pm. Rooms and restaurant have modern design, basement has large swimming pool with a whirlpool open till 10pm and a 24hr gym. Restaurant serves great buffet with options of gluten-free bread and sugar-free jams, dinner is not a good value. We ordered dahl which was served on a slice of flatbread and was cold. Executive lounge has water and coffee during opening hours.

Brilliant… Lovely breakfast. They know how to make scrambled egg. (yeah) The sausages are to die for. 3 nights and found no faults. Definitely be back again…

My wife and I stayed here for four nights. The hotel itself has spacious room, modern and well-maintained facilities, comfortable room and powerful shower. It ticks all my boxes when it comes to holiday hotel. Location-wise, it is very central and convenient. A five minute walk takes you to Tate Modern. From there, you can easier walk across river Thames through millennium bridge and reach Saul Paul’s Cathedral. The bar at lobby level has a very interesting menu. Overall, it is a true five-star hotel experience.

We were looking for a 5 star hotel in London with a Pool. Our search was narrowed down to 5 hotels. Hilton Bankside had excellent reviews and its one of the newer hotels in London so we selected it. We booked a family suite which is two adjoining rooms. Both rooms were clean and modern. But what stood out to us the most was the hospitality. When we arrived at the room there was a welcome letter with gummy bears and two small pool robes for our daughters. Hilton Bankside really went the extra step to make us feel welcome. Also the head concierge Mark was thoughtful and helped us navigate the attractions and sites of London. If I could give this hotel 6 stars I would.

Great stay at this hotel!

Stayed in an executive king room for a work event. Room was neat and clean, with a well stocked minibar and tea and coffee facilities. There was an additional, small room annexed with a desk and lounger chair. Bed was lovely, very comfortable. Included was access to the lounge on the ground floor, but I did not have the opportunity to visit. Sadly I did not have an opportunity to get to the gym, pool or spa facilities.

Lovely Hilton. Modern contemporary design lends a boutique feel, attentive friendly staff. Gym and pool are excellent, rooms are comfortably appointed. Exec lounge has great food and drink variety, free beverages in room, great water pressure. On premise restaurant is excellent and the craft gin bar, while a little pricey, has excellent cocktails.

A good hotel — stayed on a business trip, and got a decent rate when booking through Hilton Honors. Has a decently equipped gym, and a nice looking pool area (although I didn't try the latter). Rooms are well equipped and modern.

It was a very nice hotel. Very nice room with exceptional bedding.
Breakfast buffet with great choices and pancakes, pancakes made on demand delicious.
We will definitely go back!

Nice place and food was okay. We had the sharing menu. Only issue is that they really encouraged us to leave as soon as it came to 11pm. We still hadn't finished our drinks! They turned the lights on full and asked us twice to pay. Normally, restaurants give you a bit more grace period. If they wanted us to leave at 11pm, they should have told us before and not taken our order for a bottle of champagne.

Very nice hotel, room and bathroom spacious and clean. Quality bedding.
Pleasant staff smiling and listening to you. French speaking personnel. Breakfast with bcp of choice sweet or savoury, pancake and eggs are prepared in front of you and the small waffles too. Fresh products of quality, bcp of seasonal fruits.
Hotel to recommend without hesitation.
We spend a very nice London Christmas and we got our little Christmas boot hanging on the door on the night of 24/12.

This is a very nice 5 star hotel. They made my Christmas holiday wonderful. The room we got was very clean and spacious. We asked for a room with a bath and they were happy to give it to us without a fuss. The bed was very comfy! The service was perfect and the breakfast buffet was very lovely. The staff are friendly. The amenities were complete. And the location was spot on. There's nothing more I could ask for. I felt at home and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely come back soon!

This hotel is one of my favorites.

Had a stay last week here. Amazingly friendly staff. Great bar tenders. Room was lovely. 1 star off for the proximity of the gym to the pool making it very much a sauna. Food for the rather pricy breakfast was great and I have paid the same or more for much less quality in the immediate area.

Very nice hotel, spacious and quiet basic rooms (fixed windows), and temperature setting and where efficient air conditioning. Charging jacks for smartphones on each side of the bed, large TV (not used) but almost impossible to connect a hard drive because the plugs are hidden behind against the wall. Quality bedding in its entirety and functional bathroom even if only one sink. Iron + table + kettle + fridge large enough are present.
Quality Bar, lively and well attended from Thursday to Saturday, hot snacks until 23:30.
Restaurant with dishes as well presented as tasty and quite refined even.
Very good breakfast A bit expensive for the buffet version 25 pounds, and cold dishes, fish, hams and other delis + cheese not always very appetizing. Freshness of these foods not evident after 2 or 3 days. Too bad because everything else is very good.
Staff as a whole very attentive, helpful and rather smiling.
Swimming pool very beautiful and allows to swim very comfortably. The Jacuzzi not very hot and looks like a bubble bath corner as it is an integral part of the pool.
Very decent Fitness.
Just lacking a real jacuzzi and a hammam or sauna.
Establishment to recommend for its value for money extremely well placed for London!

For the price, this Hilton delivers. We had a great stay and enjoyed this area of London tremendously. I really think this must be London's best hotel option at this price point. I highly recommend booking on the Hilton app and picking the executive lounge access because the included breakfast was truly satisfying. Not as good as the Hilton Odaiba in Tokyo but still a great executive lounge breakfast.

A beautiful hotel, lovely restaurant and bar. Our room was lovely, spacious and very well equipped and modern. The staff were all extremely helpful, and welcoming. Nothing is ever to much trouble. I look forward to staying there again.

I’ve been fortunate in that I’ve had mostly favorable experiences in the hotels I’ve stayed at in London over the past few years but the Hilton London Bankside is my new favorite. The staff was polite, helpful and very friendly. The meals I had there were excellent and the room was very comfortable — spacious, modern and clean. I’ve never stayed in the Bankside area before and really came to appreciate the location… what a vibrant area!

The hotel is very well located near the centre; It's modern and spacious. The rooms are large and comfortable. The pool, although it is something small, is very nice. The staff at the hotel are the most charming.

Second time staying in this hotel and once again no complaint! Employees are really friendly, rooms are spotless and breakfast is good. Location is superb, it's definitely our first choice of hotel when visiting London.

Fantastic hotel! From Zuzana at the front desk and the rest of the eager to please staff to the sophisticated decor, amazingly comfortable rooms and location close to Borough Market and the Shard quarter, this is a step up from the typical Hilton property and I have no hesitation making it one of my preferred London hotels. Highly recommended!

It’s a very beautiful boutique hotel, I’ve stayed 20 nights in a one bedroom deluxe suite with lounge access, in the beginning there were some mistakes but they solved them all. The location is great, it’s a walking distance from beautiful restaurants, Borough market, the shard, London eye and the river Thames. The service is perfect and all there staff from the smallest position to the highest management are so nice, friendly and professional. I recommend the hotel to all my friends and family. I’m sure I’ll come back again.

Great Hotel with very modern rooms, Service was top notch. We got to London via STN and the A7 Nation Express coach has a stop only 3 minute walk form the hotel which was perfect (under a bridge too so good if its raining). would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Feels like a boutique hotel but has all the facilities of the chains. My favourite London hotel with great location which is not in the busy area but walkable to central London. Rooms are big and has good gym and pool. The hotel has an exec lounge and also a great bar and restaurant with happy hours.

Loved it here! Staff bend over backwards to make sure you're comfortable! Ours was only a flying visit to the bar but we were certainly made to feel welcome by all who we encountered. Very clean everywhere!

Great hotel with a lively and modern atmosphere. The room was well decorated, with a brand new feeling and a lovely comfy bed. The bathroom was large, the walking shower great, with good temperature and pressure controls. The breakfast spread was quite good, although I had seen better at other Hilton hotels. Location is great for central London, close to the Borough Market if you are a foodie.

The hotel staff is charming and always available. To help you in any problem you have. The room for disabled persons is spacious and the bathroom is well adapted although it is a little difficult to approach at the sink. The situation of the hotel is good, five minutes away is the metro station and there are several buses to go to the center. The tate modern is next.

Excellent, remarkable the friendliness of the staff.

I went Hilton Bankside as I was meeting some business associates for drinks in the bar. The hotel reception was nice enough, and the bar was suitably furnished to give it a premium feel. However, there was hardly anyone else there so the atmosphere was a little flat. The drinks waitress was attentive but not intrusive, and the music that wafted through the air was off-beat enough to feel unusual but didn't make me want to rip my ears off like other bars do! Drinks were pricy but some had a two for one offer, which made them more reasonable. All in all, not a bad location.

As someone who travels the world for a living, I can honestly say this is by far one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The staff have always been polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well decorated. I look forward to travelling to London again as I will definitely be returning to the Hilton London Bankside.

Love this hotel! Staff are courteous, professional and efficient. Everything is so clean and modern! Breakfast buffet has everything you could want, cold and hot. Great coffee, too. The neighbourhood is quiet, but go a couple of blocks toward the river and there are sites and restaurants galore. There are two tube stations very close by, and a train to Gatwick as well. Who could ask for anything more?

The hotel location is perfect, close to many good restaurants and just 5minutes from train station. I went to London Eye walking and it was about 15min walk. The room is very clean, mattress is not so soft but perfect for me who has a surgery in the the back. Bathroom is perfect, with the best water temperature control I ever seen. Breakfast is super dope! Hotel is completely recommended.

Twin standard room was perfectly appointed. Shower was enormous and beds comfy. Friendly attentive staff. Extremely convenient location for London sights. Short walk to tube. Short walk to the South Bank of Thames. Overall a relaxing one nighter and would definitely stay again.

Good food and a good selection of beers — slightly impersonal feel. I have visited 'The Refinery' bar/eatery a couple of times now as a group from work. Good selection of bar meals (very good burgers and club sandwich). There is a good selection of beers from the menu and the service is very good. More of a business lunch place than a romantic meal venue due to the atmosphere it inherits from being a hotel bar but I would happily visit for a meal with my family or wife.

In addition to the exceptionally excellent service, the location of the hammer… Everything very well maintained and clean, the connections are very good. Here you can be pampered.

Amazing hotel, I was instantly wowed when I walked in with the copper and gold tones of the entrance hall. The staff were polite and the check-in desks were easy to find. We arrived 30 minutes early so were unable to check in (Check in time is 3:00pm), so we left our bags and grabbed a coffee at Costa across the road. When we got back we got our key card and went straight to our room which was lovely. Our bags hadn't arrived and there was a bit of confusion as it turned out they had delivered them to the wrong room. They found them about 40 minutes later and bought them round. The swimming pool is nice, it was practically empty when we got there and there is a decent jacuzzi built in to it. The rooms are extremely comfortable, the only down side being that the view from our room was of a brick wall and the bed was a squeaky (Probably because it is on wheels). The hotel redeemed themselves for misplacing our bags when they bought up a happy 25th birthday desert plate for my partner. I would stay again, although at the price I paid I would definitely search around first as there are plenty of hotels around this price with a similar style and service.

Very nice hotel, which kept the London lifestyle touch instead of becoming a standardized Hilton. Stayed for an event and the food was great throughout, the ballroom is super well equipped for speeches and the staff was ultra efficient. The old fashion at the bar was of very good standard and they brew their own beer. Haven't tested the rooms.

The Hilton side in London has surpassed our expectations. The location is very central, the facilities of the hotel very high and the service excellent. If you check in here as a guest, you feel immediately welcome and even if you leave the hotel after three days, it is a bit sad. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired and the service staff reads a proverbial desire from the lips. I can recommend this hotel to anyone who is staying in London for business or pleasure.

The location of the hotel is wonderful as well as the newness of the property. It's designed nicely and the staff are a great body of people, always nice and quite helpful. I will definitely stay here again, no questions asked.

Visited this hotel when it was just opening. The staff are lovely and very happy to help. The rooms are some of the nicest I've had in a London Hilton. Also as it's a new hotel the room TV was equipped with all manner of plugs to connect devices to a screen which is a very welcome touch. Good location and excellent value.

Great gym and pool. Facilities are new as I write this, which can be nice. Like most new buildings though, security is ridiculous. You can't go anywhere without a card. There are card readers everywhere which was a total pain and I didn't have kids or much luggage. The windows don't open, and there is no view. … but the HVAC controls do work well which is a huge plus as they frequently don't. The neighborhood is not very interesting. We had to ask 6 times to get lighter blankets… as the feather comforters would be better suited for the arctic. The staff was completely useless… everytime. I will not be back.

The best hotel for the money. Staff very very nice, room clean and tide, lots of complimentary snacks and drinks, great breakfast. In all, such a superb experience.

As this is a new building it is clear that they have given a lot of thought to what the modern traveller wants. Those little annoyances in other hotels (e. G no plugs in the bed, street noise) are a thing of the past. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. There is beautiful artwork throughout the hotel and it feels more like a Soho House hotel than a Hilton! The bar has over sixty types of gin and the food was pretty good too. They have excellent meeting facilities and really reasonable rates so whether you're there for business, leisure or a quick drink you will be well taken care of.

Beautiful, brand new hotel. Slightly bigger room than you might expect, with a really high quality finish. Lovely touches, like free drinks and snacks in the room (I'm not sure that I will always do this), turning the room round for sleeping, TV plays in the bathroom, robe and slippers, great shower, and a very comfortable bed. Staff are extremely friendly and the breakfast was high quality. The bar is great, but a little on the dear side. Highly recommended.

The hotel was an idea location. Only a 5 minute walk from Southwark station. We were upgraded to an unexpected luxury room which was absolutely stunning. The room was huge and the bathroom luxurious. The hotel staff were so helpful and they refreshed the mini bar and bed whilst absent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning.

Had a few drinks in the bar. Service slightly slow but not too bad overall. Comfortable environment — very clean and new. There are worse places to go for a quiet drink on a Friday or Saturday night.

Amazing location in central London. It had easy access to the tube, a Tesco Express across the street and right next to Tate Modern. Room was immaculate and clean. Brilliant amenities and fantastic shower. Check in and out was quick and easy. Just beware of upgrades, they are steep!

Rooms are recently refurbished and really nice. There were some issues with our booking due to Expedia, but the hotel staff were very helpful and provided excellent service.

Great Hotel in a handy location for Tube (Southwark) Staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are a decent size with nice modern fixtures and fittings and comfy beds, all very clean and we'll maintained. Exec Lounge is a 'proper' Exec Lounge (not just a Broom Cupboard with 2 Bottles of Becks and some salted nuts in it). Breakfast is great. Gym is 24hr, its no David Lloyd but good enough to do a bit of a workout out in. A top hotel to stay in.

Superb rooms, great service with and incredible restaurant and bar! The food was outstanding, restaurant owner was very kind and the staff very friendly. The Cocktail bar was a Gin goldmine with incredible bartenders who knew their trait extremely well. Did not get to try out the pool, but I am sure I will some time in the future.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel, from my check in to check out it was very lovely, most of the staff were foreign but they were most polite and most friendly from the receptionist to the steward who served our dinner… excellent customer service. Will definitely make this place my London stay.

A very beautiful hotel BUT the staff were 90% foreign and I got the impression that they didn't understand the northern accent very well. I say northern but it could well have been English in general if I am being honest! They also took £50 from my credit card despite the room being booked and paid in advance. I was told this £50 was for a security deposit but she didn't elaborate on this, she simply said that it would return to my bank within 3 hours. This still hasn't happened and we checked out of the hotel on Sunday morning (4 days ago! ). I am now going to continue with my review which I left yesterday… (all the above was written yesterday) … it has now been 5 working days since they took £50 from my account for god knows what reason! So I called up and again was faced with the deflating task of trying to explain to the foreign lady on the phone the situation. Again, I don't think she understood me for most of the call but in the end she said (after previously saying 3 hours then 3 to 5 days) that the money would be returned after 7 days! If you stay here I suggest you pay in advance (like we did) and flatly refuse to give them your credit or debit card upon arrival as they will steal your money.

Cool venue for events — and drinks.

Oxbo is a newly opened restaurant in the Hilton Bankside and I'd advise you to get along as soon as you can. They were running a soft launch so they meal was only being charged at 50% which seemed like too good an opportunity to turn down however I will definitely be back even at full price. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated with a large open kitchen so you can see exactly what is going on in there. The evening started with a free glass of prosecco before we sat down and had a look at the menus. If nothing on here takes your fancy then the specials board displays a pretty big selection of various sizes of different cuts of meats. This was my kind of book! After deciding on a lobster starter, 950g porterhouse and then a couple of desserts we sat back to wait. Our waiter arrived and asked what we were having and then proceeded to recommend a few different wines for us, all at the lower end of the scale which was surprising. Even more surprising was the fact that he then insisted that we try them all before deciding. We plumped for a Pinot Noir at £30 which was delicious. When our starter arrived it looked a little bit more style than substance and sadly wasn't as full of flavour as I'd hoped but was still ok. This was to be the only disappointment of the night. When the main arrived it was a big check of meaty goodness cooked to perfection. This was served with fries and a choice of sauces. We went for red wine and the bechamel and both were very good.
