Quite overpriced. Extra small bathroom.

Dust, cold and no hot water when you need.

Breakfast not up 2 much bed very very comfortable bathroom in room bad but nice friendly staff.

I lost something from the room in the last day. I told the reception. They took my contact and never contacted me! Anyway it is a quite place!

Low budget hotel compared to the price level in the area. Standard is according to price. Every room has own bath and toilet (although very small), which is nice. Breakfast is included and very basic.

I fail to see how this place has even achieved a two star rating, I spent a week in this awful establishment that totally lacks service. The duration of my stay my room was not cleaned out properly, my bedding never changed and I had to ask for fresh towels after the 4th day. I’m not sure what they were serving for breakfast but it sure didn’t look like it, was pleased to have coffee and tea facilities in my room but no spoons… It’s a pity that this establishment lets themselves down as the location is good but sadly the rest is a nightmare, I understand what budget means but this brings new meaning to that term.

Not the greatest but you get what you pay for. Old school service yet I haven't had someone clean my room in 2 days.

What you see is what you get, if you want a clean bed, shower, toilet, literally the essentials it is fine, staff were courteous, breakfast was basic but nice. I would say perfect for a short trip and you are just looking for somewhere to sleep. Still overpriced in my opinion but generally a fair price for the location and it being london of course!

It's a place to sleep… Very dingy and small but at the price I don't think you can complain too much.

Me and my friends booked this hotel for a one night stay in London. After reading bad reviews I began to worry about the state of it. However, the hotel was not as bad as the reviews made me expect. The room was clean and tidy. It was a small room but that's all we needed. The staff were friendly and approachable and the breakfast was decent. It was a 10 minute walk from the closest tube station which was great for us. Not bad at all considering how much we paid.

My toilet stunk off poo. Everytime u flush water came out the bottom If u are 6ft u wont get in the shower. Taps had thick soap scum around them. The heating was jammed on so was a horrible heat. Place can do with a face lift but that didn't bother me. Its more about the bad cleaning. U book this hotel and they take u to another 3 doors along. Very strange as not same name. Was definitely not worth £94 for a night. Oh and the TV Ariel was held together with tape.

It was a scam. At least in 2009, when I stayed there. I had made reservations for two in the Greenville Hotel; when we arrived, it was closed and we were redirected to Guilford Hotel. It was incredibly dirty – the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever been in, with a bathroom smaller than an airplane's. The included breakfast was excessively simple, and we preferred to skip it. The only good thing this terrible hotel could offer was an excellent location – near Russel Square, British Museum and St. Pancras Station.

Small room, Lilliputian bathroom. The neighborhood is still quiet and quite central.

Hotel dirty, poorly soundproofed, the rooms are cramped.
The only advantage is the situation.
