Needed a place to stay for one night, good location close to where I needed to be. Very close to Shadwell DLR so easy connections to Bank and Tower Hill. Lovely breakfast selection too. All this at a reasonable price as well.

Location ideal for transport links to central and east London. Room was tight for space but was clean, tidy and very well appointed. Breakfast spread was varied and plentiful, although hot offerings were not all that flash. Overall a pleasant stay and would stay again.

Not a pretty location, but a great little hotel with excellent transport links. Very reasonable prices for London.

I stayed here for 2 days on a trip to London. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was very conveniently located near multiple transit options, and the room was very clean neat looking. The only complaints I have is the room was a tad smaller than the pictures led me to believe and that there was no lift and carrying luggage up the narrow stairs was a bit tough. Overall, a good place and for the price it was well worth it.

This place has heart. Staff is great. Rooms are great bed-wise but soso bathroom wise. Location looks better than it is, close to Bank, Tower but access through the mediocre DLR so many transfers. Neighborhood is not great either, pretty rundown. Can get better value for money elsewhere. That said the breakfast was excellent.

I stayed x 3 nights, the room small but nice and clean. Friendly managers and good breakfast!
The Hotel is conveniently located near the Metro and a few stops from central London.

Great location near the DLR, 20 mins and you are in the central area of the City. Small Hotel But with quite large rooms, bathroom ok with daily towel change. Breakfast with various buffet things to start a day with the right energies.

Helpful staff. Small room. Shower from the ceiling, not particularly clean, broken hair dryer fixed with tape.

Nice little hotel. Room rather tiny but with a pleasant atmosphere. Everything very clean and in a good location for a fair price.

Decent for the price you pay helpful staff only negative TV has freeview channel only and some dont work.

À 3 star hotel but 5 star Price/quality. 5 min from tube station. 1 stop to Tower Hill / Bridge. 7 minutes walk to a Turkish or a Pakistani restaurant, and a McDonald's … Rather large room for London. Good mattress, good pillows. More then okay breakfast with 3 really good cheeses and decent coffee. This will be my home from home in London.

Friendly and helpful hotel staff, small but very cozy rooms with flat screen carpeted TV and bathroom with hairdryer. Strategic point for getting around by the means is very close to Tower Bridge. Breakfast good and plentiful definitely recommended for a weekend in London.

London style Hotel. Very small rooms but the staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend it for the super cheap rate and the proximity to Tower Bridge. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Luggage storage service included, very welcome.

My daughter and I spent one night at the Dockside Hotel. I found it clean and confortable. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Apart from the absent bacon the buffet had a great selection. I couldn't fault it. The staff were very helpful too. It fulfilled our purpose. The only down side to this was the location! Views weren't great!

Stayed in a single room. Big pluses for me; 1) Rock solid Wi-Fi. 2) Nice shower and toilet. 3) Kettle, coffee, and teabags. 4) Easy to get to. 5) Nice staff. Cons; 1) Each room has a mini fridge, and that sucker pumps out a LOT of heat. So got warm in there. 2) Paint is a bit grubby? 3) Its in a noisy area (opened the window to deal with the heat, and folks out there are loud). I wanted somewhere cheap to sleep, and Dockside worked out great.

Small but perfect hotel next to Shadwell Statio. And excellent value. Great location if working in East End or Docklands area.
