Just spent a night here with family for my 50th birthday what a lovely place. Very friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble when asked for help. Very generous portion with dinner and breakfast. Rooms very clean and presentable.

Felt very safe — sanitiser stations everywhere including lifts. Despite restrictions we were made to feel very welcome and were looked after excellently. (Visited due to early hospital appointment)

What a disappointment! … knew it was a bad idea coming to London so soon after lockdown
Looks good from the outside but the inside is not good — see photos — cleaners either not wearing masks or wearing them under their chins … carpets dirty — doors look like they have been broken into — I guess it was used for the homeless during lockdown.

Great hotel ideally situated to commute into London. Friendly reception staff and excellent Manger with super Customer Service skills. Prices at the bar are a little high, and the bar tenders could be a little more friendly. I would highly recommend a stay at the Clayton at Chiswick.

Best porridge outside Scotland.

The staff (especially Geveena) are really lovely; we’ve been coming here for 4 years now and it almost feels like home! A smile always greets us — 1min walk to the tube and straight on the district, loads of nice bars and Restaurants around.

Fire alarm went off, a lady admitted she pulled the alarm, management didn’t evacuate the guests and allowed the party she was attending to continue. Learned a lot about fire safety in England. It’s not great. Security yelled at the guests when they asked what was going on. Not great.

The staff are the best, they make me feel very welcome every week.

We stopped at this hotel for 2 nights and both commented on the quality of our stay. The bedroom and bathroom were large, stylish and the bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Staff were polite and very helpful even when we arrived late on Friday night and the front desk were a little overwhelmed. Gunnersbury tube station is a 2 minute walk down the road and then it's a further half an hour into central London but it is an easy journey to make. I am sure we will be back in the near future.

Great improvement over last 7 months since last visit in Feb 2019. Amazed at how feedback was taken seriously. Was amazed and surprised that I was given room number of my birthday this trip. Very delighted for the personal attention. Thank you!

Nice friendly staff n a atmosphere was given voucher for free drink after commented on paying £1, 10 for a dash of soda, should be no charge.

Told front desk there were glasses left outside the door but nothing done. Executive Room is so small, cannot image the size of a normal room. Bathroom design is weird. Poor designed shower. Water filling the bathroom and there is no drain hole! The fridge is not even working. No bath robe even though was told there are. Given a choice, would not stay here again.

Its a decent hotel. Has a big n bright executive rooms. The breakfast menu is great. Has a good variety. No swimming pool though. Tge staff here are quite friendly.

My family and I arrived on Saturday for an overnight stay @ 2pm which I was told was the normal check-in time. However our room wasn't ready for us until about 2:45pm. To make matters worst after we put our stuff in our room we needed to go out right after as we had a party to go to for 2pm… So at this time we were already late. However we couldn't go because the door to our room would not lock. We tried calling the reception desk to get someone to come and fix it but no one answered. My wife and kids had to go downstairs in the end to let reception know about the issue. After which someone was sent to fix the door. As we were late for our party we had to leave the repairman after about 15-20mins. He promised to fix the lock and secure our room so we left. On returning to the hotel that night some time around 9pm we headed straight for the reception desk to tell them we had arrived and explained to the guy we met at the desk the issue we had with the door earlier. Now we expected him to investigate further to determine if we need new keys/cards. He promptly told us we were good to go that our lock had been fixed. But as we suspected when we got to our door — our room was on the 6th floor by the way; we were unable to gain entry to our room. The cards we had would not work. Hence I had to go all the way downstairs again to the reception to get new cards. So you can understand by this time was very annoyed with the service we received for your staff.

A wonderful, modern, hip hotel. Lovely large room and bathroom — separate bath and separate shower. Only gripe was the bad service we received when eating in the bar. I did have to send back my meal because it was not what I ordered but that can happen anywhere. Nobody came to take our plates away until we had put them on the table next to us, something like an hour after we had finished (hotel bar was not busy). We go to the bar to ask for more drinks and to see the desert menu — a very long time after we had finished our main course. Maybe because we had prepaid? Apart from the service I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. Staff were friendly.

Brilliantly run hotel with reasonable rates. Food excellent and the breakfast a real pleasure with such a varied range to choose from. Again friendly staff and nothing is a problem. Very clean in all areas, comfortable rooms & lovely friendly staff. Great accessible parking right by hotel with fantastic easy access lifts to all floors So pleased I picked Clayton Hotel for our 2 day visit AND they upgraded our accommodation!

We held our daughters wedding at the Clayton Hotel, Chiswick. The Ballroom was a spectacular setting and the events manager Stephanie was an absolute star! In our time of need she had a very calming manner which saw us through the day. Housekeeping staff were very attentive and the whole day was very successful. I have no hesitation in recommending the venue, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks for a great stay — just 1 night but I am sure I will be back. This was my first visit. Friendly, helpful staff and fantastic facilities with quality furnishings. The staff member at breakfast was a star — so happy and helpful — her name was Geveena. Also it was a pleasure to check in and out with Rochelle on the front desk. I believe in giving honest feedback and I am so pleased when it is such great feedback — well done and thank you. Great location also!

Good quality hotel, good buffet breakfast and Wifi, Good Parking facility underneath Hotel, small but adequate fitness facility. Bar bit pricey but standard for location. Hotel is also within walking distance of some pubs and shops if you want to venture out. Convenient location for M4 commute and 5 minute walk from tube station making it very good for getting into central London without the hassle of getting caught up in traffic.

A modern hotel located in Chiswick next to business center Chiswick Park. It has got a nice design, very good English breakfast and a fitness gym. The only disadvantage was that the elevators were under repairing and only one was working, the stairs were also closed. Due to this I had to wait too much time to go up to the room. Otherwise, I recommend.

Lovely and helpful reception staff, upstairs bar also great, one particular staff in the ball room bar was rude and ignorant — snatching the money out of people’s hands and not even speaking — he definitely needed a lesson in personal skills! The room and hotel was immaculate but a few more sugars would be appreciated. At Breakfast we were spoilt for choice, again the staff were friendly and helpful. … Overall a lovely hotel and we greatly enjoyed our stay.

I stay at this hotel, probably once a month for business and they honestly couldn't be more helpful. The last time I stayed I was running late and didn't get there til 1am, I did phone ahead to let them know, I had the same quality of service even at that time of day. The beds are ridiculously comfortable and the rooms are stunning. I highly recommend this hotel.

I was stranded due to major cancellations out of Heathrow and had to stay there unexpectedly (all the cheaper hotels near the airport were all booked). Not only was the hotel beautiful, but the staff was amazing! Great service, bent over backwards for me. I would really recommend!

The exec rooms are nice and clean. Bathroom was amazing and prob the best part of the whole room. Staff at check in was nice and pleasant. However checkout women seemed to be having a difficult day as when asked for help with our bags to be put in car I was told to take it myself as there wasn't anyone around. How unprofessional! I ended up dragging the trolley full of our luggage and suits to the basement floor car park on my own. For this reason wouldn't want to stay there again. Hire more staff.

I use this hotel fairly frequently, it’s clean and reliable. Rooms in the newer wing are the nicest, spacious, well presented and comfortable at a reasonable price. The older part of the hotel (above reception/bar/restaurant) are still okay, just starting to show signs of age and not quite as nice. I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone looking for an comfortable place to stay in London that isn’t going to cost the earth. Short ride on the tube and your in the centre, perfect!

Very good hotel near Business park and the center is also quite easy to reach by S-Bahn. The breakfast was very good. The rooms are very quiet and clean. Partly with a free-standing bathtub. Good business hotel.

What a beautiful hotel and so big! We used a conference room and it was outstanding. Great facilities, helpful staff and really up-to-date modern decor. Would definitely use again and recomend!

The first room I got was facing a wall (great view! ) but more important: it was freezing and the heating system could not improve the situation. I was promised several times that someone would come to fix the heating. After 2 hours of waiting I have asked to speak to the manager but he did not bother to call me back as indicated by the receptionist. Tired of waiting and unfulfilled promises, I have eventually demanded to change room. The new room was OK but management remained too busy to take care of unhappy customers. Furthermore, I sat down for lunch in the restaurant and waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. After asking 3 times to the waiter to take our order, we left and had lunch somewhere else I travel a lot but have never experienced such a bad level of service, which is obviously the result of a totally substandard management.

Nice place, great breakfast, great and clean rooms. They made some confusion with what was included in the package, but in the end all was good. Really close to the subway and the Business Park. I will return without a doubt.

Nice hotel, rooms very comfortable and spacious. Good amenities and food was good. Food good with plenty of choice, average London pricing. Parking is available on site but can be a nightmare, staff just tell you you need to park elsewhere if full so not very helpful!

Nice hotel, rooms are always clean and staff polite. Only reason I gave it 4 star is because the food can sometimes be a bit dry. Gym could do with some more equipment too like a curling bar.

I stayed here for three days while on vacation and it was amazing. Breakfast was always top notch as was the room service. The receptionist was very helpful with anything I need, such as directions or any questions I had. The rooms were immaculate and very cozy. This is THE place to stay if you are ever in the area!

I visited the hotel bar, it is nice with relaxing atmosphere and good service. I recommend it especially in the evenings/night, suitable for a drink accompanied.

Waited a long time to be served at the bar despite being the only customer. Rooms nice — everything you need, although I did have to ask reception for water for the room. I liked the bathroom décor, think art deco. You cannot go onto the roof top terrace sadly, which for smoking guests would be perfect as it would save them standing out the front of the hotel.

Great, clean hotel with very helpful staff. The rooms are big and the bathrooms very modern. I recommend this to any couples who are looking for somewhere special to stay. The breakfast is also great with a lot of choice.

Nice hotel and would have been happy if it were not for the self-closing doors slamming shut with an almighty thud (or that's how it seemed when waking me up in the night) whenever guests enter their rooms and don't hold onto the door to stop it slamming. I understand they have to be self-closing, but why on earth can't they do so quietly? I was woken up twice between 11:30 PM and 1 AM, and then again at around 3 AM. After that I could not sleep at all. It was a terrible night and I felt awful the following day. I would not stay at this hotel again unless they resolved that problem. 5 November 2017 – only fair that I update this review, to say that Clayton hotel did contact me to apologise, and advised that they would have every door in the hotel checked and repaired if necessary. They also offered me a free return stay with breakfast at a time of my choosing. This recently took place and I’m happy to confirm that I was not woken by slamming doors in the night :-) overall it was a very pleasant experience, this time round. Thank you, Clayton hotel.

The room was lovely and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Staff was amazing. VERY friendly and helpful on many levels. Only suggestion: Have a larger soap bar (or a couple of soap bars) in the bathroom. Add washcloths (small towels).

Hotel was in a good location for access to Chiswick Bars and Shops. Safe and Secure Parking. Rooms comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent with some good healthy choices available. Reception area was vey hot and would be better cooler. Bar area was good with good range of beers and wines but disappointed to be charged £6.60p for 3 bags of kettle crisps.

I usually end up staying at the Clayton Hotel in Chiswick once a month for various reasons and I have never had anything to complain about. The rooms are always clean and comfortable and far better then the majority of Hilton Hotels I have stayed in, as well as all the staff are very helpful and quick to address your needs. I am somewhat a fussy person when it comes to hotels and this one for the price has never let me down. Chiswick is a beautiful part of London and this Hotel is only half a mile from Chiswick’s central high street, however if you don’t know London very well and are wanting to see all the London attractions then you might want to pick something more central.

Was with my son in here to watch London and Harry Potter tour. Accessibility for this excellent, very good connection to underground and overground. Breakfast for me delicious, my son (14) tasted it too. The room was top, comfortable bed, clean bathroom. The staff was very friendly, happy again!

The hotel is very modern clean and fresh we managed to get a very reasonable weekend stay in an executive suite. It is not the first time we have stayed and certainly won't be the last. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel goes beyond its 4 star rating to satisfy you. The food is fantastic very fresh and a good menu composition overall for the evening meal and throughout the day. Me personally I have never been a fan of breakfast buffets and avoid them as much as possible so I cannot comment. Overall fantastic stay fantastic hotel and a great location.

My daughter had booked the hotel for us and was somewhat concerned because she had never been there and was not familiar with the hotel or even the area itself. My husband and I are certainly not world travelers by any means, and I was a bit nervous being in a strange (and foreign) city for the first time. We are dinner in the hotel grill that first evening and were extremely fortunate to be served by a very helpful man, Sean Elliot. Sean asked how we were enjoying London so far and I blurted out that I was a bit overwhelmed by the travel maps — both tube and bus. He sat right down with us and downloaded an app for our phones that he said was better than any "official" map and pretty much guaranteed it would get us wherever we wanted to go and back to the hotel again. He was right! He was pretty much the first person we met in London, and his helpfulness sort of set the tone for the rest of our trip. I don't know what we would have done without him! Clayton Hotel, you're lucky to have Sean working for you. Kudos! He let us take a photo with him before we left and I'm posting it here. Besides that, the hotel was quite comfortable and we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, excellent breakfast and very spacious room. The only slight downside was when booking the room description stated bathrobes and slippers however there were none in our room. Also there were no replacement coffee pods on the second day of our stay. Very minor points in what was a very nice stay at a lovely hotel. We would certainly stay here again and recommend to friends visiting the area Thank you to all the staff particularly the bar staff how arranged some food for us late at night, that was very much appreciated.

We stayed for 2 nights at this wonderful hotel. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The room and bathroom were gorgeous and the bed was so comfortable. The bar was warm and friendly and surprisingly better value than the local bars we visited and bar snacks were really delicious especially the nachos!. Breakfast was good so much to choose from. It's in an ideal place, bus stop outside taking you either into London or cross the road and catch the bus to Richmond. We'd definitely stay again.

I always found it nice staying in Clayton. Each time I visit London, I prefer to stay here because of the professionalism in the staff, the way the things are maintained well and also the good food. The hotel rooms are spacious and well maintained. It's hygienic and clean. I would certainly recommend Clayton hotel to my friends and colleagues.

Well appointed and modern hotel, large bed in a spacious room: everything worked well. Impressive breakfast served by an unusually large number of somewhat inexperienced waiters (didn't get our poached eggs! ). Unusually well maintained and cooled fitness room. Immediate area could be better supplied with restaurants but no shortage of good pubs. Another receptionist on the desk at busy periods could be useful.

Stayed here for Wimbledon again. Another excellent stay. The only thing I could fault is the shower — which had one of those water saving devices on it — the type that means you save water but don't get a decent shower. But the room was large and very comfortable, as was the bathroom. All good overall.

Excellent rooms. Clean, spacious, bath and separate shower. Great location just two minutes walk from gunnersbury tube station for underground and overground. Very good evening food, breakfast is varied and caters for all diets including detox water, smoothies as well as the usual for buffet. Friendly staff. Very much enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. As we checked in early Aoife was most helpful and efficient and looked after us very well. She made sure our luggage was in our room when we returned to the hotel later that evening. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Sean Elliott we met while having a late night drink in the bar. We would also like to mention him for the fact that he came over to check if we had everything we needed and was very helpful with giving advice.

Excellent property A few steps from the Gunnersbury stop of the Green Line district. Very good value for money Helpful staff. At the reception there is an employee of Italian origin. The room was very clean All in all a great facility. Great price in relation to quality.

Very stylish and with spacious and well-appointed rooms. Breakfast varied and plentiful, with high quality products. Helpful and friendly staff.
We also had dinner in the hotel on occasion of a corporate recurrence and I must admit that the catering service was also great and well cared for.
The bathrooms in the rooms are equipped with every comfort, including very pleasant person care products and hair dryer in every room.

It's a great 4 * affordable, penalized only by a bit sad location, although at 100 meters from the metro.

It was a very nice hotel. The rooms are very clean Super bed! Great breakfast and staff everything is very friendly. Although slightly distant from the centre at only 100 meters there is the metro station and in a short time you reach any point of the city. I stopped to dine twice and I was not at all disillusioned, indeed…

Great room and good attentive staff. Very close to tube and in lovely part of town. No faults we could find.

The overall hotel and room are nice, however, on arrival there was only one member of staff on reception with a queue of four people waiting. The other members of the reception team appeared to be in a meeting and very slowly made their way back to assist their colleague. The same issue was repeated on check out, with one member of staff on reception and other wandering through. The Wi-Fi did not work at all in the room, trying on both iPhone and laptop, or in the dining room at breakfast time. I did report this to reception and was told it worked fine down there which was not exactly helpful. We also arrived back at the hotel wanting something to eat, it was 10.55pm so we said we would order from the room service menu to the bar. We were told it would have to be from the 24 hour items, which would be ok if there was anything available for vegetarians except vegetable lasagne, no other items were suitable.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the new hotel. Was a reluctant guest in the "Moran" for many years needing the proximity to the Business Park next door. Now I cannot get over how fresh, modern, smart and frankly gorgeous this property is. Actually look forward to my monthly stays. And what kind and gracious staff. Keep it up! And THANK YOU ALL!

After staying on a Saturday night for 1 night the staff kindly upgraded us from a king room to a suite which was a lovely Gesture. The room was modern with some quirky colour choices, a little retro which was a nice change. The bed was comfortable & the free standing bath was relaxing. Overall it was a pleasant experience & I would certainly stay again if in the area.

Pretty good value for money on the accommodation. Nice rooms. Food lets it down on room service. Breakfasts were pretty standard.

The outside doesn't reflect the quality & service of this hotel. The staff are friendly, the decor is very nice and most importantly the hotel is very clean. Only issue is the wait for the food in the restaurant and meal prices.

Don't stay in room no 531. Very ugly design.

If you like indian food please Try The Taj Restaurant in 10 Carlton Parade Orpington Kent BR6 0JB open 7 days a week Monday to Saturday 5.30pm to 11.30pm and Sunday 5.30pm to 11.00pm.

Nice and spacious rooms, very close to Chiswick park, suitable for business stays with daily work at Chiswick park. Very limited cold breakfast (named as full breakfast), with a breakfast menu for ordering additional warm food. That makes it a 4 star for me.

The hotel itself is really outstanding. The only problem is that it is not directly in the city. That bothers but not really, since a subway near the hotel is the district line station and quickly enters the city.

We use this hotel for our monthly lunches. Exceptional.

Great hotel for a holiday in London, without spending too much and well served by public transport.

I was charged a bottle of water from the room that I did not drink! On my following conversation there was no response from the hotel — poor service quality. Not to be recommended.

Beware of internet access charged at £15 per day, should be included in the room rate.
