Really impressed, loved the old maps on the floor in the bathroom, the modern one on the reception wall was extremely useful. Good value and good location for the city. Handy good value cafe attached.

Stanza funzionale e semplice. Possibilità di cucinare in stanza. Staff gentile e cortese. Room really functional and easy. Possibility to cook in the room. Staff kind and gentle.

Clean and nice hotel. Sad they don't have any bar or bar service! Really bad for London where it's hard to buy alcohol after 11pm…

Due to an cancelled flight, we could unfortunately only spend one night in the hotel, since already fully booked.
Staff very nice and helpful
Room has everything you need incl. Small kitchenette, fridge and microwave. Room had over 20 m2. In addition, even 220 volt sockets on the bed.
Location of the hotel great, less a 5-minute walk to the underground stop Barbican.
Highly recommended!

Nice and quiet rooms in the city. Air conditioner worked well as outside it was 32°c and inside it was just right. Double glazing kept city noise at bay. Bed was comfy. Bathroom clean and modern. Only annoyance is having to buzz the front door to get access on arrival. I guess that is a factor of the neighborhood.

Spacious, clean and comfortable. It was in a nice location with many yummy food options within ten minutes of walking. Staff were friendly and accommodating. It sounds weird, but their bathroom floor was awesome.

Nice little hotel conveniently located near Barbican tube station. Could use some more amenities. Breakfast not included and only possible by purchasing from shop in lobby. Rooms are tidy and some include kitchenettes. Rooms not cleaned daily but is not a problem. Would stay here again.

Great rooms. Fresh, clean and contemporary. Loved the Old London Map bathroom floors. Excellent value for money too. Attached Cafe was great.

Stayed in the studio apartment, well aired and well lit rooms. Apartment was fitted with kitchenette and all necessary utensils. Room housekeeping once a week. Great service, would come again.

Good location 5mins walk from Barbican tube station. Spacious rooms with quality fixtures and fittings and a comfortable bed. Competitively priced because rooms are not serviced every day. Excellent cafe on the ground floor and plenty of good restaurants nearby.

Very well located in London, easy to reach, next to the Metro. The rooms are very clean and… brief to try!

Air con broken, £13 breakfast and only allowed 1 egg! Had to pay for water! — staff were friendly but not efficient. Overall very unsatisfied.

The room was great, very clean. AC/heater worked great, bathroom was clean, nice choice of tea and coffee, TV worked. Bed was comfy too! Met every expectation. Breakfast is served in a cafe open to the public. As it was a weekend, staff were swamped so I didn't manage to get my food served but I was refunded the total inc. The coffee which was served. Would stay again but if you want breakfast be sure to go before 10am.

Room was modern and clean. A bit basic for the price paid, just a bar of soap and multi purpose shampoo in the bathroom. A bit pricey for what you get.

Very cozy & convenient to stay. If you qant to grab coffee in the morning, you can do at the cafe on the ground floor. When you need someting to eat, there is a couple of supermarket in 5 min. Gym is available for free and friendly receptionists give you a key to enter. Overall enjoyed fantastic stay!

Great long term stay or if you like being able to make your own food. Newly renovated it is a good value.

The apartment I stayed in was lovely and very clean. I especially liked the selection of lights around the bed — you have every level of lighting available! The staff at reception were also friendly and helpful.

Good and clam place staff is also good. Improvement in sourced restaurant needs to be made in terms of variety.

Citadens is a great place to stay, the apartments provided are perfect for their use. I stayed in the studio room which was extremely spacious only down side was the room wasn't the one from the photos which my partner really liked and wanted. Location of apartments are great in the heart of london only 10/15mins cab ride to everywhere.

Very clean Hotel Modern, youthful, furnished with excellent modern taste.
The accommodation with a very clean and super cozy kitchenette. Well laid out space and an extremely comfortable bed!
Ultra staff available at all at any time.
I'd like to live here!
Metro, Bus and taxi services without any problems.
The only thing the neighborhood a bit off but goes well with the metro station a few steps I walked around easily everywhere.
I definitely recommend it!

Welcoming staff, bright and clean room with adequate facilities to make your stay comfortable. Ideally situated to amenities would definitely visit again.

So far, very good. The walk from the station to the hotel was just a few minutes — the hotel is great, super clean, modern, comfy, warm quiet and pleasant. I'm sooooo glad I fished this place out. This is gonna be a good stay I put 4 stars because I plan to go out in the night an I don't know the ease of this yet. I'll post again, once I know it's perfect.

Can I recommend. Rooms are very good.

The rooms a super clean and new. Many USB ports and ever a smart phone to use while you stay there that you can take with you while in London. I would highly recommend this hotel to any one looking to stay in London.

Great place to stay. Great location, 2 minute walk from Barbican tube station.
We had studio apartment for 2 nights, kitchenette had hob, microwave, toaster, kettle & fridge. Plenty of room. Great to come back to after days sight seeing in a cold December.
Only 1 stool for breakfast bar, but we asked for another one at reception which was delivered very quickly.
Best breakfast in attached Bistro, Market Sourced. All the staff were very pleasant and nothing seemed too much trouble. Would definitely stay here again when visiting London.

Great location. Comfortable and clean and an amazing cafe downstairs, perfect for grabbing breakfast before heading out to enjoy London.

Nice inner-city hotel. Modern and well-appointed; rooms have a tiny kitchen so you can buy groceries and eat in. Room HVAC blows across the bed, so it can be chilly or overly hot. There's a small restaurant attached that has breakfast items, not included in the room fare. The eggs Benedict is pretty good. The Barbican underground station is an easy 2 minute walk away.

The place was just renovated and the rooms are nicely furnished and decorated. I have stayed here quite a few times when traveling for work. One thing — they don't have daily roo service as other hotels do.

Great location. Handy phone was fantastic. Make sure if you want a kitchen request it. We booked by expedia ended up with just room no microwave which would have been handy for long stay. Staff friendly will stay again.

Great location, the finishes of the rooms are done very well, the staff is very friendly and professional.

Fantastic hotel for the price I paid. In a pretty decent location nestled between places to eat and drink. It's close to Barbican Tube station for easy access to the transport network across London. Check in was simple and pleasant. There is a complimentary tea and coffee facility by reception with biscuits and sweets which I thought was a pretty neat touch. The apartment room was spacious and well equipped with all the amenities you needed. Most important of all was that the room and hotel as a whole was very clean and comfortable with friendly smiley staff.

Citadines was a very warm and welcoming hotel. Although it was in a non touristy area, it was still in a good location that is walking distance from all monuments you want to see. The studio room had a full kitchen and there is a cute French cafe downstairs with delicious food. We really enjoyed staying here and would recommend to anyone!

Would of rated hotel more if me and my partner had a better experience, phoned up hotel asking if there was parking was told there was, we booked our weekend away through laterooms we paid the amount months in advanced, when arriving at the hotel we was asked for bank details so they could take an additional amount for any damage to the room, to then find £211 was taken from our account for no reason at all… Turns out They took an additional £211 out of our account for two nights stay as it's '£105' a night even though we had previously paid £168 via laterooms… They took like amount without any warning which they cannot do, left us with bank chargers and when we phoned to ask them about this they put the phone down on us 3 times which wasn't a free phone number! We was so looking forward to our stay and would of recommended it to family and friends if they didn't do this to us!

Room was clean and spacious and it was nice having the kitchenette. However it was very warm with no air conditioning controls. Breakfast was very poor for the price.

Usually I don't go down that minimum hotels *; but London is a very expensive city, so I found this Aparthotel * which seemed suitable. More so it was for me out of the question to eat daily at the restaurant in an expensive city, and where the food is not that of the France. I was not disappointed:
-small supermarket 30 metres (Tesco),
-metro about 50 meters
-studio of 30 m 2 minimum, very well set, broad and very comfortable bed — and hotel room very clean.
-at the reception we speak french (went down elsewhere in palaces, who did not even speak french…).
-pleasant and polite staff. Normal? far from being obvious elsewhere…
-My wife and I had a very pleasant stay.
-nickel for stay leisure and business (City just next door, the salons of the hotel are good, Barbican centre just next door).
-St Pancras station is not far away on the metro.
-only downside the Tesco next door just a little choice… do not hesitate to go to Tesco in Coven Garden. Serte a bit far, but it is huge… and with the metro it's doable. A return with pleasure.

Very pleasant, helpful, attentive staff on reception. Rooms were clean and tidy and delivered everything that was expected from an appart-hotel. Kitchenette was fully equipped and made all the difference to the stay, as did the addition of electric heaters in each room. Very happy with the quality and service for a central London location and would stay again. Very close to barbican tube station and other amenities close by too.

Room not big, but all you need is something basic all full. Location very good, from Barbie, Ken, Subway Station very close, if you go to the other side, and also can take the London bus to a great London swim (to try a hotel near the Italian restaurant—out the door, to the right: the pizza not bad.

Loved this hotel in a really convenient part of London. Every room is fitted with a kitchenette which is extremely handy and the hotel has a couple of Tesco local stores should you need anything. The staff were friendly and the room was clean, although a couple of parts were showing their age — we did see a sign though saying that the whole hotel is getting a refurbishment. Unfortunately our shower didn't work, but we only found out the next morning so didn't change rooms. The breakfast had a good selection for a continental and was attended to by a very friendly and cheery attendant. All in all, a nice hotel with decent facilities.

The location was just amazing… The room was nice and big. The service was perfect.

The Wi-Fi is incredibly inconsistent.

3 stars no more no less. Breakfast is super expensive for what it is. Rooms are alrite. All in all ok.

London really needs a face lift. Hotels here are expensive and feel 2 decades old. Citadines is not an exception.

Apart Hotel comfortable, well located but nothing extraordinary. Regular hygiene. Receptionists zero charisma and sympathy.

Hotel is near metro station. But Tesco Express supermarket quite small.

My daughter and I stayed there for three nights last year in the month of August, it was quiet clean and well-designed, evidence I come back this year, too bad this time breakfast is not included.

Very close to Barbican underground station and very easy to find. Within walking distance of St Paul's and other food places but not so close to main shopping areas. Staff was friendly but the rooms are a little tired. Generally they are adequate but feel a little worn and basic (we stayed in a Club Studio) compared to other Citadines locations. For example, the hair dryer is an old attached to wall one and there were no additional toiletries beyond the wall mounted shower gel (Holburn provides body lotion, conditioner etc). Included breakfast was also quite basic but good enough (again lesser compared to other locations), although I wonder if it's worth paying extra (included in Club) as it seemed like you could just stroll down and grab something back to your room without putting your name down. It is understandably cheaper and a decent stay if you want to be close to the City, but not the best amenities and location for a leisurely stay.
