Shite. Felt like we were in. Film and someone had stuck a chewing gum face on the light and about 4 empty bottles of fosters in the airing cupboard. 100% would not recommend. The door locked hence it being a 2 not 1 star.

Only 2 star & meant to be budget but rooms can be quite pricey. If you do stay here request a room at the back as its located on a main road & traffic is very noisy at night. Room was ok. Shower was lovely.

I was really positively surprised. The rooms are quite small, but well maintained and clean. I also found the staff very friendly. For a short trip to London definitely acceptable and I would book it again on the next trip.

Many times guest as Flixbusdriver in day and night. In warm days we got a free fan service on our room. Helpfull customers and they give you every time a warm welcome. … Many restaurant around the hotel and shops and close to bustation and tourist places.

Ive only stayed in their premium rooms and thus cannot comment on the standard rooms. My room was clean & comfortable. However it was hot ** (weather — was 27°c that day) ** The room was facing a busy main road and so having window open caused noise issues. I asked the gent at the reception if they could give me a fan and he was happy to help and gave me a simple rotary fan for the night. Would defiantly stay again as long as the price doesn't go too steep.

Great hotel. Really clean, spacious and bright room. Reception staff really nice and welcoming. Really nice and modern finish. Will definitely stay there again.

Only stayed here for 1 day and it was a really enjoyable experience. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a baby and the windows were large which allowed a lot of natural light to illuminate the room which was lovely. The shower was nice can't complain. The breakfast was about 1 minute walk away and the voucher given didn't leave a lot of options but the cheesey option I had was delicious. If you want a quick stay In London I would recommend Chelsea Guest House.

It was all very well maintained and the staff very friendly. The beds were also comfortable. We only unfortunately had the room on the ground floor towards the street. It was very loud, mainly by residents who went to smoke in the evening and talked loudly in the process. The noise of the street cannot be prevented.

Very nice and clean place to stay. Quiet district and close for transportation access.

Some rooms are very comfortable cons The hotel is very noisy due to lack of efficient double glazing. Too much traffic on one side and the other an intense activity zone + The exit of a McDonald's. The curtains do not completely seal the windows it is a pity because the reception is perfect.

Personally I enjoyed, the room is super clean, the bathroom is nickel, mug, clean kettle. Only problem level noise isolation, sometimes you hear the steps of the room at the top, but it does not bother personal. I recommend it.

Good Place to stay. We spend 5 days at Chelsea Guest House our room was very small but I guess that the European standards. Management is every helpful and they keep the room nice and clean. One this I should mention is no Air Condition in the rooms.

Comfy bed. Noisy room though, it was like there was no walls separating our room from the outside. We also had some trouble with poor wind isolation on the windows.

Been there twice now, both times had great service with no problems.

All the facilities are poor, looking old and, what's worse, dirty. The change of towels, questionable. They doubled the used. Very fair cleaning.
They had to change my room after the first night because the bed was the worst. Only improved the mattress with the change the rest, very deficient.
For the opinions I saw I guess it has renovated rooms but I do not know what they are and the criterion they follow to award them.
In my case, the stay at this hotel has spoiled my few days of vacation.

Great for the price, the property has a bus stop at truly 50 meters, it is a 15 minute walk to Battersea Park, the property has just been modernised rooms and clean bathrooms and change daily wipes.
Recommended.

Great price for the location. Bathroom smelt of damp even though was pretty clean and new. Staff were nice.

Located in all s4he it along the Wandsworth Road, a fairly rough area of Vauxhall/Clapham in the south side of London.

This is a nicely renovated older building. Not perfect, but clean and reasonable. Plus: Clean, friendly staff, modern fixtures. Negatives: Busy Street, small rooms, no storage space. Still, it is a charming place.

Absolutely bad place to stay. There's no AC or fan in the room. Have to keep the window open for air circulation while the hotel is located on a busy main street. Room is small and ugly. Definitely not worth the money. Receptionist was nice but would not recommend it.

Nicely renovated rooms, easily accessible by bus. Unfortunately a lot of noise coming from the street and scrap yard.

Inside very hot, small window hardly possible to cool down in the evening. Lot of street noice and close to MacDonalds drive in so you will hear Welcome at Macdonalds a lot! What can you expect with low prices? Bed was bad, sleeping on floor gives less backpain. Changing rooms not possible, fully booked. Next night other room available if paid extra 50 or 60 pounds. No thanks, found a better place to stay where one can sleep.

Friendly service, but unfortunately the room overall was pretty average. Small with a very firm bed.

Stayed here at the beginning of January. I booked a Double Premium room and had a large bed in the room, desk & chair, tea and coffee, hairdryer, wardrobe and even USB charging points which was handy as I had forgotten the plug for my phone charger. The bathrooms were modern and the shower was a rainfall shower which was amazing! Could have stayed in it all night. Have always used branded hotels before I was a bit cautious with this being an independent hotel but this place has converted me. The service received was personal and not robotic which made me feel like I was valued. Will be using this hotel on a regular basis from now on when I come to London.

Clean room, nice staff, comfortable with the means. Area a little dead.

Stayed 4 nights whilst on business. All I can say is that I'll definitely be booking here again. Very clean and moderately spacious rooms for the price. Ideal for those who just want a room to sleep whilst they're visiting. Service of both the reception staff and cleaning staff is exceptional and the place is very welcoming. I was given information about the local transport in the area and tube links to main lines. There's plenty to see and do in the area and as someone from the north of England and very rarely a visitor to London, this guest house provided my everything I needed and ensured my stay was good. Would highly recommend.

Stayed here in November 2016. The reception team and management were very helpful and able to give directions to the city and draw the bus route on the map for us, and also give us information on tickets for the bus as unbelievably they no longer accept cash on the busses in London. Also recommended some lovely places in the area for dinner, some of which we would have never found if they hadn't told us about them. The whole team gave us an exceptional stay and we will certainly be returning in the future and recommending to our friends planning to visit London.

Very cheap price for our room with the three of us staying, very friendly and very helpful staff, especially at night. Will be staying here again next time I'm in the area.

Staff warm, friendly, the rooms comfortable, we only stayed one night, but I feel very safe, the staff service and considerate and sweet. Here, the value than I expected! Also come again!

Just find the extra money and stay elsewhere. I read the reviews and thought how bad can it be. It's just a disgusting dingy bed surrounded by loud disrespectful patrons. We were woken at 6:30 Sunday morning by some party animals and I am a heavy sleeper. Could not get back to sleep as the alcohol had worn off and I now was aware of how skanky the bed and pillows are. It's a rip off really, not to mention the toilet marks. Why wouldn't you just run a bit of bleach down it. What would that cost? 10p? Lazy owner, money pit, AVOID AVOID, only desperate people would stay here.

This is a great place to stay all transportation near by. Rooms nice l have stayed hear twice now will always use this place when l'm in the city.

Not a bad place. Walk to the subway 10-15 minutes. The rooms are very large Kishimoto. To the intimate details of neighbors. Wi Fi is not everywhere gets. But there is a McDonalds with free.

Stay here two to three times week, it's work related. I never can smell cleaning products or disinfectant when going into a (clean room? ) I noticed dirt accumulated in the sealant on the back of the bathroom sink two days ago. Today I'm in the same room same dirt so I took a sponge to it and a little soap from the dispenser and cleaned it myself with no effort. the beds had been made up and clean towels placed on them. When I pulled back the duvet there were crumbs laying there easy to see. The sheets were creased and had been slept in. there were pubic hairs in the shower and the sink was dirty it hadn't been touched. the toilet had urine allover it . Toilets are stained . Beds falling apart . Very noisy coming from McDonald's drive through right next door. . No double glazing. . I look forward to a big improvement in the housekeeping department double glazing would be great! . Enough said.

Convenient location with modern clean rooms. The staff are very helpful too. We food good food in the area too. No doubt the area will change as Battersea becomes more posh : (

I like this hotel it is a price wise it is ok bedrooms a cleaning good you have McDonalds next door which is really good everything is absolutely fantastic for your money in this hotel I would recommend my mates and colleagues go there.

Nice place. This is a budget place but my room was really comfortable and very newly re decorated. Close to the overground station and buses just outside your door. Wi-Fi is great.

This place has free Wifi! I didn't spend much time in my room, but I did take quite a few naps here during the day. It was very nice; I slept really well. The room was also very clean, and I remember coming back after being gone one night and the room had been cleaned up, so I guess they do clean up their rooms routinely. Do note that the toilet is not in the room, so you have to go out of your room to go poop. Not really an issue. The shower was nice, but it didn't come with body wash, just shampoo. The room was pretty small (I got a single), but I didn't mind. If you don't plan on being stuck inside your hotel the whole time, this is a good place to stay. I have heard from people in London that it's not in the safest part of the city (Vauxhall) so you may want to consider that when walking around at night. Might be better to call a minicab to take you there from the station or wherever you come in from. The reception desk was open 24 hours except on Sundays, so on any other day, it is fine to come at any time. Right outside of the place are bus stops, and the tube is not that far off (maybe a 10-15 minute walk). There's a McDonald's right next to the place, which is pretty awesome. Went there when I got hungry. For the price I paid, I would say it was very well worth it. I have no complaints.

The Chelsea Guest House is nice place to stay while you are in London. It has great location and it's has great traffic connection with the main attractions. Rooms are cleaned every day, but inside hotel it is very noisy, probably because right now guest house is under reconstruction. The staff are very kind and friendly so you won't have any problems while you're there. I'm looking foward to visit guest house again.

The Chelsea Guest House is the most friendly accomodation I have experienced in London in the past few years. Very well connected to the main attractions in London, the Chelsea Guest House has given me the best comfort for the lowest price ever. Managers and staff are all very kind and friendly, always able to help you on any occasion. Once you get to know the place you look forward to go back.

The guest house is well located. However the place is not very clean. The staff is not very helpful. The room service is not great. The rooms are not cleaned every day. Would not recommend to anyone to stay there.

I wanted to stay in a cheap and nice place for a night in London so I booked Chelsea guest house. It's location is excellent, you can get buses to almost any where in London and there's a Mcdonalds nearby as well. The room I stayed in was a bit small but the big bed made up for that. The attached bathroom was nice and clean. Free Wi-Fi Internet was available. The staff is nice and friendly especially the guy on the reception was very helpful. However, the guest house is located right next to a busy road and it can get very noisy. I highly recommend this guesthouse if you are single and want to stay at a budget hotel for a night.
