Birth place of iron maiden! great atmosphere. If you love iron maiden, rock music or live music or just a generally nice pub this is it. Live music every Friday. Pool table out. Great. Can't wait to go again.

The Pub is fantastic. Music predictable. Beer is cold and the food was unexpected great. The room was… well… a room. Except the bath, which was more like a cubboard. But there was a larger one on the same floor. Nevertheless I was happy…

I was there for my musical faith in Iron Maiden… Beer and good food. Too bad that during the week there are no bands playing.

That is my neighbour pub! Always ready to jump there for a pint or two, it isn’t overpriced like almost everywhere else, the staff are absolutely amazing and you also can play some pool or listen nice rock even live rock in the evening (check the website for the exact days because I am not sure) Destination is Very easy to be found, and it isn’t overcrowded which makes it definitely one of my favourite pubs where to go after work or just with a friends for a chat and a couple of drinks.

Enjoyed. Used to use the pub in the 90's glad it's still live music. Staff are friendly and good vibe a) round.

I love this pub! It's my favourite for the weekend. Attentive staff and lovely atmosphere.

Friendly and lively pub that is not too expensive to drink at. There are live bands and DJ on the weekend. Just a short walk from Stratford centre. There is also a smoking area out the back if you are a smoker.

I ate the best Sunday roast dinner I've ever had here. Staff are brilliant too. I really like this pub and I'm starting to become a regular.

If you like Iron Maiden. Visit it. Historic. Otherwise it’s just a pub, they serve drinks here.

Lovely sunday lunch except for the Roast Potatoes wernt fresh & been cooked a few times, staff were great. Value for money.

Really cool pub in East London. They have some great abd unique Maiden memorabilia. A must for any Maiden fan visiting London.

This pub have good Guinness, and live music. The interior have nothing spec.

Nice little pub and birth place of Iron Maiden. Great memorabilia of that band and very cheap prices. Food is pretty good also.

Great! Enter a mythical place where the history of the Great Iron Maiden began! Pure emotion.

On the outside it looks like a pretty ugly place and with a pint of being fatal, but the rooms are great, very clean equipped with everything you need and the beds are extremely comfortable. If you are going to London by step and need to be close to Liverpool Street or Stratford stations I would definitely recommend it.

Cheap enough for some were to sleep for the night dont expect luxury. Food and drink reasonable.

Bit of a dive that relies hwavily on their Iron Maiden links. Barstaff dont really seem to know what thwyre doing. Food was lovely though.

One of my favorite places in London and by a lot. It is the "birthplace of iron maiden", that gives you a vibe incredible. The weekend there is a band, that I had not played so well, but had all the attitude.

Great location, brilliant atmosphere.

Nice place to meet and drink, music is good (although very loud, if you want a conversation you need to sit in the smoking area, which is in itself a nice place to sit) and bands are on regularly. It's a good local to have.

Great bar with the hotel just above and especially next to hill valley bttf.

Great for grabbing a night's sleep.

I stayed here for a few days last week and I couldn't have been more surprised. The accommodation was booked for me through work and I feared the worst as it is a popular pub. I was quickly put at ease by the very pleasant staff particularly Justin, the owner. We were given off road free parking and directions for our onward journey into London. The room was quite small containing 3 single beds which were so comfortable. It was very clean and presentable and the en suite shower room an absolute bonus. I have stayed in hotels all over the uk costing much more but not a chance of reaching the high standards set by Justin and his staff. I will definitely be booking this location again when I have to travel to London.
