My first comment is directed at the other travelers — be considerate of those around you. It's not necessary to slam doors or stomp up the stairs. Otherwise, those complaining about small rooms and no lift — you're in London where most buildings are older so just embrace the infrastructure. I had a great stay — front desk was lovely and my room was well cleaned. Great location near Victoria station and lots of food options! Budget friendly hotel. Appreciated the coffee, tea and kettle in the room and also the luggage storage both before and after check out. No complaints and would absolutely return!

For the price we paid, it's not worth the value. No air condition, no room service, no breakfast, and no basic necessities such as bottled water and paper towels. When we asked for bottled water, we were told to go next door to get some. Wow.

The hotel is in a great location. Friendly staff. Comfortable rooms. How worn the furniture is.

Love the neighborhood. Close to St. George's Pub. Great staff and service. Dinners are always great at Grumbles up the road. Room off the street noise is great. Oh, and air conditioning.

We stayed at the Best Western Victoria Palace for a week in early July 2017. We stayed in the annex building, located across the street. The exterior of the hotel is fabulous with well maintained flower boxes and plants on the first flower balcony and window sills. We had to walk up one flight of stairs for our street facing room. The room was reasonable size for a London city hotel, everything was clean. The bathroom was sparkling white, and modern European aesthetic. The free Wi-Fi worked well, and two of us could stream videos as the same time. My family reached a cap mid-way through our one week stay. The hotel graciously extended the Wi-Fi. The location of the hotel is the icing on the cake. It's about four short blocks from the Victoria Train station. There are about 40 dining establishments within a five minutes walk, all of them terrific and in varying price ranges.

Very conveniently located for public transportation. The room and hotel were small. The room being small was fine because we didn't spend much time in it. The hotel was small which was also okay except there tended to be stuff left on the steps and landing that you had to navigate around. If you want ice don't ask at breakfast time because they won't have any. They also say they can only give ice to two guests at a time because that's all the machine can handle.

Good hotel within walking distance of victoria station and central London. Breakfast plentiful and pretty good, rooms maybe a little small but not missing anything then they are clean. Staff speak Italian which helps if you do not know the language well, pity that they were unprepared on events in the capital.

I can't say enough good things about this place. It's the best location we could hope for the price. It's a little strange that some of the rooms are in a building across the street. The service was amazing, however. We had a medical emergency and they helped arrange transportation, offered water and assistance, and checked on us to make sure we were fine without being intrusive. When we needed to stay a little longer they were able to accommodate us without switching rooms, and at a great price. They responded to all questions and requests quickly and professionally. Overall, this was my best experience in a hotel ever simply because of their excellent service.

Getting straight to the point. The hotel Really needs a lift in the annex building as I was unfortunate to get the top floor and climbing 5 sets of stairs seemed a mamoth task after a hard day at work. Even though the room was quite small it was perfect for a solo Traveller. The shower was really good. The TV received little to no channel for example no free to air channels like BBC! The big plus why I have given this review 3 stars is the bed. It's really comfortable. For Breakfast you had go to the main building and it was a lot cheaper to go to a cafe around the corner for half the price.

Excellent attention of Vicenzo, quick check-in Amabilicimo, willing, speaks 4 languages, always of good mood, solving everything. I don't know which one it rests because it was always for all ymiy good a perlite.

Although I had to ask for room change because I was allocated a tiny for 3 adults and it was not the one I had seen over the Internet.
I got a similar to the one I saw, but in the basement, the bathroom was icy and water came out of the tiles, it had no heating and Vicenzo brought us a radiator to supply the lack of heating.

Nice and simple Hotel. Rooms with heating too high, sloping and really small but sufficient for two three days of vacation. It was a very nice breakfast. Great location.

Room large enough for two people (Single bed + 2 pers) close to the "Victoria station" and a shopping centre with restaurant.
The negative is that we found hair and/or hair in the sheets and the towels for the bathroom were dirty (a cleansing wipe was in it)

I stayed here for two weeks. I had a suite which included bed-sit and full kitchen, very nice bathroom. I became very ill the second week. The management got a doctor to visit me, including prescriptions. I was in bed for the full second week. The porter and the cleaner were both so kind to me, under direction of the management — they brought me food and made me cups of tea. They stopped in two or three times a day. I cannot praise this hotel too highly. It was wonderful.

Very expensive for the services it provides. No elevators, the stairs are small and dangerous to go with luggage. Regular location.

The place is nice for a few days, it is connected very quickly to central London as the Victoria stop is less than 300 meters away. The people were also very nice.

The cost is very low, so my expectations were not too high to begin with. That said, the room, while small is all you will need for a short stay in London. Nothing fancy, but all the essentials in place. And the breakfast provided by the hotel is worth the extra money. Especially if you are looking for a full English breakfast. The staff are friendly and the facility is well kept.

This is probably the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room is small, and there are virtually no amenities, but even worse than that is the Hotel staff. In every room there is a book of recommendations or places the hotel has "deals" with. One being the laundry service across the street. DO NOT DROP OFF ANYTHING THERE! I dropped things off in the morning and was assured that they would be finished by 5-6pm and that they would even drop them at the desk for me, I dropped in at 430 to see if they might be done early, and he reassured me that between 5 and 6 they would drop them off at the desk. I came back to the hotel only to find out they were not in fact dropped off and the cleaner was closed for the night. I asked the hotel staff about it, and they said that there was nothing they could do, since they only recommended the place. And that he was a "good guy" and to wait until morning. That was the end of the conversation they were willing to have. No way to contact this man no way to get my things back. This is absolutely outrageous, there is no way you can have a deal with a business and then not be able to contact them. Also if you are in the hotel, the Wifi goes out at least once every hour. Literally stay anywhere else.

It was a very comfortable hotel, well located. With fast access routes to the rest of the city and in an unbeatable location in Chelsea. Just touring around the hotel is quite an experience. Great breakfast and very close everything you might need: English, Italian, Mexican, Ottoman, any country food! Pharmacy very close and access to medical services online a few meters from the hotel.
Very friendly, attentive and punctual, which I appreciated very much.
Very highly recommended! One of the best breakfasts I have ever tasted in Europe.

Great location, nice staff and cheap… but… the rooms are very small, which is a pain during a sightseeing holiday, but the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired.

Really cramped room. No fridge. Toilet makes constant noises and drips all the time. Only a few electric outlets and all far from bed. Breakfast is decent. Elevator smells like cigarettes half the time.

Classic Best Western in European style, coy but comfortable rooms and amenities. Be advised the free breakfast is only for those who room in the main building. Annex room clients pay ££ to eat.

We stayed in this hotel for our visit to London. The room is very small. The bathroom is very small. There is not a lot of space to store your toilet articles. The shower is very small. It was hard to take a shower and turn around in it. However this place has a great location and the price wasn't too bad.

Great connection with friendly price, and the room was really cozy. Overall it was a nice stay.

The room is awful small that you can't move around while luggage put down on the floor. There is only 75cm width passage from bed to bathroom, the worthest thing is the room down in the basement and receptionist don't even try to change another room for us while we demand.
The only thing make us feel better is the location only 500 meters from Victoria train station.

Booked this hotel using my Best Western rewards. The room was small but lovely in every other way. The hotel was quiet and in a good location with friendly staff.

Very noisy hotel, inconsiderate staff early in the morning slamming doors and hoovering right outside the door very early in the morning. Noisy road outside. The whole property looks like a building site at the moment. There was a "mother's meeting" during the night with all the male staff members sitting around chit chatting in the evening, despite the nerve they had to accuse us of smoking in our room late at night even though it was their choice to put our room right next to an exit door where the majority of guests to congregate outside of to smoke. The only good thing was the firmness of the mattress. For £130 it was a rip off.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Tiny double room with old furnishings and carpets. On the other hand in the bathroom was brand new. The assigned room was about 50 meters away from the main building. Under the room passed the subway and you could hear the train passing until late at night.

After booking another much cheaper hotel online, we arrived to find that we were booked into the worst hotel in the whole history of hotels. Ever!
After our first night in the terrible hotel, we did some internet searches for hotels and B&Bs nearby. Having had good experiences with the Best Western Group of hotels before, we went in to see if they could help us.
We we went there in the middle of the Chelsea Flower Show week so vacant hotel rooms were difficult to come by.
The staff and Management here were so helpful and went out of their way to try and get us a good room.
They succeeded!
We got a very comfortable room and amazing service.
If I travel to London again, I will be staying at the Best Western Victoria Palace.
P. S: The Marquis of Westminster over the road cannot be beaten for a quality meal!

Terribly slow Wi-Fi (. 55MBPS), 1 ply toilet paper in the loo (couldn't spring for the 2 ply? ), also constant noise of honking and trucks idling outside your window incessantly. For 150 pounds/night there were better choices.

A very good breakfast (both continental and "british"), very nice waitress, and central position. The reception men are men of few words. The prices are in the average here in London… so very high! :')

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Victoria Palace. The room was comfortable and quiet and well maintained. I strongly recommend this hotel as a place to stay when you looking to visit theatreland & victoria station in London.

The Hotel is for London standards quite well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is okay but nothing great. But here, too, for London standards quite well. Is my 2. Visit and certainly not my last.

Stayed at Best Western Victoria Palace for one night to see Buckingham palace. 10 minute walk to the hotel from houses of parliament. Would definitely stay here again.

I would absolutely stay at this hotel again. The rooms were small but clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the location is good with many stores in the area. Having breakfast at the hotel was a real plus.

Fine hotel. I stayed in one of the annexes and room was very small but it had all the basic facilities I'd expect from the chain. The hotel is conveniently located near Vitoria station.

Location was a bit further away from Victoria Station than we had hoped; walking is about 15 minutes because you have to walk all the way around the station. Rooms are small and cramped, but otherwise in good condition. Comfortable mattress, and surely got a good night's sleep, but shuffling around the tiny room and managing some place for your suitcase is annoying. We opted to save on the expensive breakfast and had a lovely one at a nearby Italian place. Friendly staff and nice lobby.

Super clean rooms and super helpful staff. They were willing to help with directions in the city as well as navigating my way to the airport. Several other people who were staying in hotels saw the place I was at and were green with envy. Close location to the Victoria station means your never to far from anywhere.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Clean room, AC (tho windows opened for fresh air), 1km to Victoria Station, and many good pubs, cafes, and restaurants within 3 blocks.

Overall experience was great, we've stayed 4 days in this hotel in a three bed room. Breakfast was good, but you had to eat is fast, because it was fast cold. Also, the room was small and the shower too. And, there wasn't any fridge to keep our drinks.

We stayed in a triple room which was too small for three people to live in, even though just for five days. It was difficult to walk around in the room. The windows were a strange phenomenon for us, because there was no real possibility of closing the second one (the first one had a screwing mechanism to lock it with). We stayed on the first floor and there was another roof beneath our windows, so anyone could have got in our room without us knowing during our absence, or worse — in the night. The air in the room got all breathed-out during the night, because, of course, we had to keep all the windows closed. Apart from lack of space though, the hotel was pretty nice. The selection of dishes during breakfast was considerably wide, we did have something to choose from, but it wasn't something miraculous. The staff were very friendly — even helped us book a visit of The View From The Shard. And you can have a lot of fun looking at the pictures hung on the walls as paintings, because they look like taken from Google Images and put in a frame. Some of them very 'smartly' cropped :) *I got bedbugs from this hotel :-/.

I have stayed in a few hotels in Victoria and this one is good — it has comfy beds, modern showers, double glazing and huge bath towels. Staff are pleasant and friendly. Breakfast isn't included in the rate so, for value for money, the Comfort Inn had the edge.

We turned up without booking after having walked out of our last hotel (see review for Golden Star Hotel), considering we walked in off the street, the staff were accommodating, friendly, polite and very well dressed. They were aware of our prior issues and they did everything possible to put our minds at ease, they took us to our room, allowed us to inspect fully and once we were happy we went back to make the payment. The room was large, with a desk, wardrobe, full en-suite (great shower), larger than standard double bed with comfortable mattress, furnishings were clean and facilities were good, with a hair drier and tea/coffee making equipment (I highly recommend the oat biscuits). They allow good time for check out (11 am) and check out was as easy as being asked how our night was and handing back the key card. Cannot recommend this hotel enough, it is close to Victoria station and a whole street of restaurants is within a 5 minute walk (Wilton Road). We will definitely stay here again if/when we return to London.
