Lovely Friendly people who can’t do enough for you, brilliant location to Paddington station, very clean also their breakfast is excellent value for money for what’s on offer. Would definitely stay here again. X.

No air conditioning, the manager did provude uswith a fan. There was only one small bar of soap offered not even a wash cloth. No lift!

Avoid at all costs! They do not inform customers that they plan on taking the full cost of booking as a pre authorisation check and/or when they intend to take it… despite the booking being cancelled 10-15 mins after completing the booking. They are also non cooperative when questioned about said alledged preauthorisation check. (the booking was only made due to the no deposit, free cancellation and no prepayment, payment to be made at the hotel upon arrival) I am now without £254 due to them and no idea when they will be sending the money back into my account. Absolutely appalling service and they were just as uncooperative when pressed by booking. Com reference the matter.
So glad I cancelled, I had a narrow escape going by the experience with them.

Great food, not cheap but OK for a treat.

Lovely spot The Belvedere — Modern European dining in a grand 17th-century summer ballroom at the centre of # HollandPark. It's a good restaurant and open all day including breakfast. It's basically an old fashioned place serving modern food and on Sundays relaxing piano music plays gently in the background. Also great for parties, I celebrated my cousin's lovely wedding party here when I was younger. # kensingtonmikebehar # eatingoutinldnmikebehar.

Excellent food and wine selection. Price is steep so this is for a special night out (unless you're loaded). Lovely little building and the location, Holland Park, is wonderful to have a wander around after a meal.

Great food and friendly service. Really enjoy Sunday lunch, which is fairly good value at £29.95 for 3 generous courses. Piano is played on Sundays which makes a nice atmosphere. If you’re lucky the peacocks visit the terrace outside.

V. Good food but Average service. Did not seem interested in us or whether we had a good evening or not. Not one question asked about whether we were happy or not. We had told the staff we had got married there 25 year ago to the day. Not the slightest bit interested. V. Poor management. You cant survive on good food alone!

Quite pricy but good portions and great taste. Remember to park inside the car park. Can't park outside on the road, resident parking until 10pm. Car park is free after 6.30 or 7.30 please check the sign.

Food was not amzing, service was mediocre and the price high for what you get. They got my order wrong. It was not really worth it. I was slightly disappointed after taking a friend from out of town there. It wasn't horrible, but was not great.

The food is great and the surroundings are extra special, both the period dining room and the manicured park the restaurant is situated in.

Beautiful location right in park where is peacocks like a chickens in yard. Good food, everything could be perfect, just upsetting size of salmon portion was quite small. Lots of mature English people. Great Old fashion.

Room was clean and very ok. Close to Paddington station so you hear and feel in bed the trains till 00:30am and again from 5:30am onwards.
Limited breakfast but ok. Paid £ 69.00 so no reason for real complaints.

4 of us stayed in a quadruple room. Plenty of room for all. Breakfast was nice but only til 9am. Very close to paddington station.

Pleasent setting and traditional decor. The staff were attentive and polite. A good selection is available on both the set and ala carte menus as well as on the wone list. Prices are not bad for central London. Hope to go again in the future. Bee.

Everything was impeccable. Definitely recommend. Nice ambience with the live pianist on the Saturday we were there.

Perfect location. Walking distance to most of the attractions. Wifi was ok. Nice warm room.

Excellent food, staff and wine. The only thing that let's the review down is the atmosphere. It was unusually quiet. All in all a very nice evening.

Dinner here last night was excellent! This is a truly hidden gem in an amazing park setting with live piano music, excellent attentive staff and lovely food. Definitely coming back soon!

I felt this hotel was a fair priced option to good old travel lodge. It was very warm and clean although the brekkie choice was limited the food was hot and from good quality produce. The location was brilliant. Lots of stairs though for the unfit.

Great location. The room is dated and the beds are less comfortable than the average hotel, but the room seems clean enough. Breakfast is good. The staff is not particularly warm or welcoming, but not rude either.

The rooms are very nice, especially the bathrooms. The breakfast is good as well, and the location is good since it is near to other attraction.

Cheap and cheerful. Clean and tidy. Very hand for Paddington Station. Could hear the tube line through the building. But could hear that in the local pub we visited too. And the noise wasn't that bad when you got used to it.

Pros:
Clean rooms, comfortable beds, bathroom small, but functional.
Good breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, coffee or tea, milk, orange juice, jams, Korn Flakes;
All kinds of public transport nearby a few meters;
Quiet area with little park nearby;
Fast food and restaurants nearby.
Aspects for improvement:
the goalkeeper only knows English and is not able to give any information on measures to be taken to get to tourist destinations;
the staff serving breakfast should be more sociable and friendly;
the milk should be served hot, the cold one on request only;
No SOAP and shampoo.

Good location, no toiletries in the bathroom, metro that goes just under the hotel, small breakfast and super friendly.

We are very grateful for the help offered by the staff of the hotel. When we were in the hotel for 2 days in early December 2014, I forgot to bring my international driving permit (issued in Australia) with me (for hiring car in Western Europe). We needed to make many calls including long distance ones from London to the car hire company in Paris to enquire about what we could do. After using the public phone booths on the street and phone calling card, we spent almost 5 sterling pounds and an hour with no success. The staff in the hotel was very patient to explain to us the 08 — numbers would cost a lot of money. He also let us use the hotel's phone, made calls for us and only charged us minimal cost. We are very impressed and thankful for the staff being so kind and helpful. We would highly recommend the hotel.

Kindly and friendly staff, good location but trains could be heard.

Only one problem was there, for me, this hotel is on the buildng corner, nearby to bus station, and street noise (from buses and cars) constantly, including night time.
