Best pub to be mr kulan is a great Manger always here n ready for the good service! The owner mr Shiva is a great gentleman always here for his staff and for the client… Best pub n hotel in London cheers.

Shithole. Not my kind of pub at all.

Well 30 odd years ago was a barman here and had some great nights with great people. A trip back to that London required me to sort out some overnight accommodation and you could have knocked me down with a feather when the old girl popped up on a well known accommodation booking app. So a one night stay booked and awaiting the arrival of the rest of tonight's posse for Feeder in Camden. It's nice to see the old girl brought back to life as what it was designed and built to be and not converted to flats. A fine outstanding Victorian pub built for the drinking men and women of North London. Hope to be back again in the future.

Look for the price this place is great, I love the atmosphere in the pub and the staff are really welcoming.

Dirty room, hadn’t even been hoovered and had to wait 2 hours for that to happen. Terrible bed & one crap pillow, pillow in a cupboard all stained and filthy looking, horrible old looking towel, smelled bad in the room

Very nice origin pub. I would stay to renew my London journey and welcome to these Hotel in the northeast of London. Probably at December again…

Cheap and cheerful. 5 minute walk to the underground which goes straigh to Kings Cross. Decent for a cheeky weekend.

Handy location for us, great facilities, well priced.

It's our local, we go there quite often. Friendly staff despite being slow sometimes. Reasonable priced beer and football matches guaranteed.

Clean (if tiny) room with a nice bathroom. Can hear music from downstairs but I can sleep through that. Great for solo traveller, would stay again.

Where to start, bar staff are terrible, cant pour a decent pint, spills it upon arrival, and this is if you get served! The rooms are tiny, noisey, and stink of something… not sure what, the shower was never warm, they never washed the cutlery provided by themselves and to top it all of the cleaners steal your shoes! Like really shoes? Stay clear.

I was absolutely dreading staying here as we only paid £77 and had resd the reviews! We were seeing Rudimental at Ally Pall so needed somewhere close. We had a room right at top (no 34) which was big, toilet and shower very contemporary and new. We loved it. The fridge kettle, orange juice, milk and cornflakes in the room was an added bonus. Also liked the fact you could check in at 1pm. ☺☺

Friday night and they have 1 staff member and 1 trainee, who basically hasn't got a danny… has to get the other guy to help him to even count… get to the bar 10mins early if you want a pint. Even if your the only one at the bar it don't matter. Service is beyond shit. This public house has gone to the gutter and I am surely gonna let anyone know. Don't drink in this shit hole. Was a decent pub once upon a time. But not no more. Customer is not valued at all no more…

If we could it would have got — stars. Truly awful place, no staff about, no water all night. Building site! No reply to either my phone calls or emails when I tried to contact them! Avoid like the plague!

I just love it grat people fantastic time we came when my son come for his 18th and my husband and I have cone for are 4th And having a fantastic time thank you so much for a fantastic time.

Mr &mr harris we only stayed 1 night we found the room excellent with everythink if u want a breakfast you have plenty of shops we would have likeda blind in the skylight windon but thats nothink we wouldstay again andthebars wonderfull.

Beware of this hotel, would not be the first to not let the evening and it is sleeping in the street (as if descontartela had slept of course).

Love this place generally, but if things were done differently this place would be the best. Managment is the main issue or lack thereof. Potential here is massive, but poorly run in everything. Some good professional bar staff, a lick of paint, cleaning, restoring the architechtural details and organising would make this pub a winner. Nice locals and a pleasant place. Two nice pool tables, good quiz and terrible jukebox. Expect to wait a very long time to get served and selection of drinks is just plain and boring. The hotel upstairs takes priority over the pub buisness, so I don't expect things to change anytime soon. A great shame really.
