Extremely pleasant. The hotel has a beautiful decor and is spotlessly clean. The staff are very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

Very close to Gloucester road station. Clean and spacious room. Breakfast had a good selection.

Good overall place. Good location small but cute rooms. Worth paying a little more for a bigger room. Breakfast area is very small and the tables could be bigger ideally. The breakfast is 12.95 for what you'd consider normal everyday food. Stay with the complementary continental or go McDonald's it's cheaper and tastier.

Excellent room, very helpful staff, good bathroom items provided, free Wi-Fi. Room is comfortable, good size and with a modern, clean bathroom. This is not a place with a wide menu but I knew that on booking. It has a great location and the price was most competitive. No gripes at all, for the price this is a wonderful hotel made better by the friendly, supportive staff.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Ashburn Hotel. The staff was very attentive and accommodating, always ready to help. The hotel was clean and neat. The bar area and sitting room was a pleasant place to enjoy a drink in the evening. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. I look forward to returning to this charming hotel.

To the Ashburn Hotel and the outstanding employee’s. I had a wonderful time during our stay from 2-19-2017 to 2-22-2017. The Hotel is immaculate and very well furnished with fresh flowers and great ambiance. This was the truly London England cultural experience in a wonderful and modern renovated original building. Decent size and clean room. Convenient location and friendly staff. Although continental breakfast included is simple without much variety but it's sufficient and the quality of food is above average, came with a selections of cheese, ham, cereal, fresh fruit, dried fruit, juice, coffee, tea…

Hotel and staff are great, rooms are nice but dated only thing is that you have a to pay to watch TV… what a joke.

Absolutely brilliant, new refurbished hotel very comfortable and close to Earl's Court. The only negative thing is the breakfast based on toasts, apples, yogurt, porridge, cheese and coffee.

This is a great hotel, it does not feel lime you are in central london, very chilled, friendly staff, handy location.

Our room was extremely stuffy and small, had no air flow or ventilation, also had a couple bugs in the bathroom. They charge 5 pounds for Wi-Fi per day, yet it's extremely slow, almost unsuable. You are better off getting free Wi-Fi in a cafe or pub. There are also no outlets by the bedside. The service is terrible too, it took us a solid half hour to get checked in and they gave us a key that didn't work, so we had to go back down to get another key. Overall prob one of the worst hotels I've stayed in ever and definitely the worst out of my trip to Europe this year (went to Dublin, Edinburgh, and Cambridge), and it was pretty expensive too. One good thing: good location, close to subway station.

I went to London for 2 times and I always stayed at nearly hotel … great location walking distance from metro and shopping, friendly helpful staff and great breakfast … for sure I will be back!

My room was tiny… and it was a "double" room. I could barely fit in the shower and I am a normal sized human being (6'0, 185lbs). And after I was done with the shower, there was a mini lake in the tiny bathroom. The Wi-Fi DOES NOT WORK in the rooms, you get some service downstairs in the lobby. The door that connects my room to the room next to mine does not lock, so basically the person staying next to me can come in my room at any moment or vice versa. The location is close to Earls Court Station, and close to some pubs and restaurants. The staff just says that the Wi-Fi should work, they don't seem to understand that they need to fix it. please for your own good, do not stay at this hotel!

Cozy, clean rooms. Great staff. The heated bathroom floor and mirror were a nice touch. Continental breakfast had enough variety to fill me up. Housekeeping leaves nice surprises.

This hotel is newly renovated and they got new management It looks like a 4 star hotel, nothing to do with the old hotel style.

Not a terrible place to stay. Good location The price well. It is expensive in London. But they could with simple and not expensive steps done a few things a little better. Placement of light in the room, TV on the wall, Faster Wifi, shelves in the bathroom, removed carpeting (in a hotel! ) Ugh. Breakfast identical every day no vegetables. Otherwise those who worked there nice and the room was clean as they can be with a carpet flooring.

Rooms are very small, so are the bathrooms. AC was either too cold, too warm or out of order. Staff was nice and room was somewhat clean.

This has been the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed! The rooms were in an absolutely unbearable condition. For instance, the night manager showed us two rooms and both had extreme mould all over the rooms (including bathroom, bathtub, showercurtain, curtain, walls and ceiling). Additionally, the air in the rooms was horrendous, you could not breath in the rooms because of the high humidity. Furthermore, even in the breakfast room it was possible to see mould stains on the ceiling. Other negative trifles were that the rooms were really small, tiny beds and a really slow Wi-Fi connection. Stay away from this hotel!

The room we got was neat and tidy, the beds were comfortable and the price was good. We had gotten to London on an early flight, and they let us check in before the usual time, which was good, and they were always offering excellent service.

Great hotel. Good size room with a window. Staff are very nice and the lounge looks great. Free glass of champagne each night between 7 and 8. Gloucester road just 2 minutes away.

2 days only to be passed in London, in the best possible way!
Through the advice of some friends we choose South Kensington as a base and are using one of the many online booking sites the Ashburn Hotel.
For greater guarantee we try on tripadvisor reviews on this hotel, which are all great, and sure not to be betrayed by our friend tripadvisoriani, we book!
If you arrive at the airport of Stansted there it will take about 1 hour to get there (45 of Stansted Express and Metro 15) so very well with a total cost (roundtrip) of about 30 pounds each.
The yellow line of the underground (Circle Line) arrive at 500 meters from the hotel (station Glouncester Rd. ) and we are just 3 stops from Hyde Park, 5 from Westminster.
Awaited us at the hotel welcomes us an excellent staff and very obliging.
We booked the cheapest room the Queen because the pictures looked to be very pretty and comfortable, so it was. The room had all kinds of seats and it was very pretty, only minus the fact that it was on the first basement, and then the window looked out on the classic English airports of basements, but for 2 days is fine. Spacious bathroom and equipped; room with minibar, LCD TV from 40 "and very interesting thing for me the Wi-Fi for my laptop (or television) absolutely free.

Having read the reviews I can only assume that we stayed at a different hotel because our experiece of this hotel was bears little resemblence First impressions are bad enough-check out the stained carpets on the landings-Yuk We went for an upgrade room as it was a special occasion and ended up with 1 of the 2 basement rooms-no views and tiny! Bathroom had mini bath, there was no hair dryer or trouser press (standard even in a travel lodge) AC did not work, no croissants left when we got our basic continental breakfast Place epitomises rip off Britain "cos its in a posh spot" Descibed as a Boutique Hotel but fail to see the connection, more a Charity Shop Digs me thinks.
