How can a place so repulsive be part of a beautiful city? The only good thing about this place is the location. Staff attitude and demeanour to guests leaves much to be desired. If you’re coming in as a couple you’re better off staying elsewhere because what they provide is 2 separate single beds which cannot even be joined together.

Not bad, its small room, but you have everything you need and the breakfast is great. During in winter the room is bit cold. The location is good. The price sometimes is not worth it. They also take 50£ for Insurance and they will give it back when you are checking out.

Ambassador's hotel is an older building but — for my purposes — perfect. Ideal as a place to stop over where you just need a comfortable sleep and to be in central London. You might not find yourself spending a lot of time in your room to relax (at least in the smaller room I was allocated), but for the price it's a great stop over.

1 star for cleanliness, 1 for location, 1 for staff. All the rest is bad. My room was described by a colleague: "wow they put you in a jail cell". It's basically a closet with a tiny bathroom. Soundproofing nonexistent. Breakfast is OK. Shaver power plug not working. Bed not comfortable. Avoid if you have a higher budget.

We had a double room, which was very small and cramped. In the bathroom on the ceiling above the shower, there were already dark spots that looked like mold. Unfortunately, the cleanliness also leaves something to be desired.
However, the staff is very nice and happy to help with any problems or questions. Breakfast is simple, but delicious and you get fed up. The location is also optimal. In just a few minutes walk you can reach the underground and around the corner there is a supermarket.

We were only a couple of nights, the rooms are small, the bed occupies practically the whole room you don't know almost where to put your suitcase! However clean and friendly staff.

Well located hotel, very nice exterior façade, average reception not really effort to get understood and smirks if we try to get understood (we are not all bilingual! )
Very very disappointed by the room, small, poorly soundproof, bathtub too high, a real galley to climb in without breaking the figure and I do not speak of the descent once wet, waiting for breakfast is very long, the first breakfast taken has the hotel was non-existent (coffee, tea, bread and cheese) and no word of apology or explanations from the staff as to is lacking.
In short I do not recommend it.

Good location and good price but poor breakfast and the rooms downstairs are very small and not so welcoming.

Our arrival was poorly managed, the receptionist was rude. The rooms are OK and the view beautiful, but the breakfast is mismanaging it too, it seems that some of the staff are sick according to the other employees ' statements. A queue to get to the breakfast quite long and some customers do not respect. Around 8:40, most of the products (Croissant, jam, ECT) were breaking, some people have had to do with what was left. Honestly I do not know what to think, I would not avoid this hotel just as I would not advise.

Bad choice! We booked a deluxe room knowing that London standards cannot be compared to those of the rest of Europe. And they gave us a dump. A room without window in the basement, with an average height of about 190 cm, equipped with a noisy ventilation that, instead of blowing fresh air, threw dirty air and smelled of smoke from other rooms. And I don't even carry the continuous noises of our rude neighbors x all night long! We are waiting for a change of room but our stay in the meantime has already been ruined! Bad Hotel!

In the media I would say. To be in the heart of London the/prezzo quality ratio is great.
My room was spacious as it was enough, warm and clean (although the structure is dated with worn carpet) the small bathroom but with hot and modern shower.
The breakfast was plentiful, I made sandwiches for the lunch bag and I took away the fruit.
In the room tea and coffee maker.
Free Wi-Fi and a very fast connection.
Supermarket around the corner, London map given by the receptionist.
The only thing I didn't expect was the 50 pounds of bail, returned to check out obviously. Know that they ask them.
For the rest a beautiful memory of a beautiful holiday.
I will definitely come back next month, in the end it is as much a hostel.
Board from Victoria Station take the Green Line and get off at Earls Court.
From there turn right, activate Google Map and in 5 minutes walk you will arrive at the Hotel.

Unfortunately, the price and equipment are out of proportion. Staff is friendly and eager to meet your needs. Breakfast is good, but very one-sided. The hotel seems to be totally overbooked. For my first time London, but it's okay.

We had a really ugly basement apartment, the bathroom is also not the best. And at breakfast it was always crowded, really bad for the price.

At the beginning we had NE not so pretty Kellerwohnungohne WLAN. Due to WLAN we have come to a nice apartment in the 3rd.

It's OK, really. No room service. But location is good if you have to decide between this and a better hotel somewhere else not near public transport. Rooms are very small with inadequate space to keep things or work on your laptop. Staff are friendly and helpful but your mileage may vary.

The hotel is not bad but the photos of the beds they publish on the website do not match much.
The floor 5 corresponds to the rooms that are more classy.
The breakfast buffet is very good.
The day you leave the room for a líbra you can leave the suitcase all day to take care of it before going to the airport.

Hotel is very old. Rooms small. Walls and doors not very soundproof. Location wise, close to Paddington. Won't complain too much since it is rather cheap for such a location.

We had 2 standard double rooms and 2 single rooms The double rooms were just as large as the single room only the bed was 20 cm wider. So for 3 stars not recommended in Germany it would be really only 1 star all in all very old broken condition. Walls dirty, doors broken, kettle and hair dryer 2016 last time checked. Heating permanently at level 6 as the Kleiderskleiderank is so close to the heater you couldn't even put the heater down. 2 taps 1xkalt and 1x boiling hot. I have not yet understood the meaning behind it. In 2 rooms mold in the bathroom at the joints.

The room is small and the bathroom is very small. You can hear the cars passing by, there are holes in the walls and blows on the bathtub. Faulty hunting.

The cleaning service is nefarious, in my stay of only 3 nights, I was made to change room 3 times! 1st because on entering, the room that I had touched 410B was not doing the cleaning, and that I did the checkin to the 21HS. Attached pictures of how I found it, so I got another one, in the basement, but only for that night, forcing me to leave my things in the Guardabultos, the next day, since I was going out very early, good to return, did not find my things and I had to enter The slogan to identify my purses! Finally then I was assigned another room the 408B that in no way is like those listed in the photos of the website, both in the Ambassador hotel, as in the Booking… the bathroom had only one curtain, which did not stop the water, which wet the floor and the carpet… I have to say that the service is good! As for the attention at reception, I found it short of professionals. Even though it was cordial. Well in short, no housekeeping, old facilities and none of the rooms that I were allocated corresponded to the pictures on the web! Of course I will not return and unfortunately I do not recommend it. I hope they can improve.

Not super nice. No Good morning when we go back to the hotel. The room not super clean. The shower curtain is moldy. The bathtub and sink are full of limestone. Under the bed is Narnia. The coffee from lunch is horrible the sausages too. Doesn't deserve a 3

Rooms to renovate but overall clean. The location is very close to the airport. Nice staff and very good breakfast.

First，one female staff is very rude without any patient talking with us. Second，the corridor is smelly with old dirty carpet. The room is very small；I even can't open my suitcase. All of the facilities are old with glitch always. It's not like a hotel but rather an shabby apartment. Very unsatisfied with all of the services under such a high price. I know it's in central London and place to live usually very eexpensive but this place is particular absurd and unreasonable. Suggest do not live in this place！It will affect your emotion of explore London！

Basically clean, the rooms should be reimmobilied, the breakfast is good. If you are much around as a foothold it's okay. Located in Kensington, you are in the Royal Borough and therefore a safe and very nice setting, at a very affordable price.

Although the place is in a great location at a quite affordable price for central London (£75 for single room with breakfast), there are things that need to be reviewed. Basement rooms. You might be unlucky like I was and be sent to a basement room. With no windows. If you are claustrophobic, you will want to die. They should have used the lower level to have some meeting rooms or even serve the breakfast there. State of things: it needs updating. My room was clean but the carpet of the basement corridors were like part of a horror movie set. Breakfast: you wouldn't serve that to your worse enemy. The problem here is that it doesn't take a huge investment to improve that. The quality was awful. Would I stay again? No. There are many other options in the same area within the similar price range and with far better reviews.

I stayed here twice in a week (separate visits). First time they couldn’t find my booking through a third party website and I had to wait around while they sorted it (no apology). Ended up getting a decent sized room and bed was ok. Second visit no problem checking in but ended up with a tiny room and bed was small but comfortable enough. The breakfast is poor and they could definitely do better without spending much more money. The location is fantastic but would try another hotel if in the area again.

Bad experience. They spoke nothing of Castilian, the rooms rather worse than those of the photos, we go a swindle and on at 6 in the morning the fire alarm went on and we had to leave by paws in pajamas so that then they said that "it seems that someone has smoked a cigar In the bathroom and has jumped the fire alarm. " We go a disaster of hotel and very poor breakfasts.

I want to highlight the reception of the hotel of Mr. Antonio, a Spaniard, Madrilenio who has been very friendly and attentive. It is also to highlight the location of the hotel which is very accessible to the means of transport, and the environment is quiet and enjoyable.

Omg. Couldnt believe the balls up with room booking today. I was given directions to a room which ended up being a box single room after booking a double room. Coming all the way from Australia to this after booking photos showing lovely rooms! to be dealing with incompetent staff. I was told I would be moved to a double room in the morning with no compensation for the mix up. Also my parents were given a double room at the arse end of hotel. Filthy room where they found dirty socks. No tea coffee facilities. No manager on site.! @. Not impressed. Very disappointing. Here for 12 days. Its our worst nightmare.! ROOM 107 single bed springs sticking out so basically you have to put up with that. This place is not what you see on booking photos. Disappointing!

Had some difficulty booking in due to multiple room mix-ups. They staff were polite and very helpful however which certainly helped a lot. The rooms were quite small (double) and of a mixed quality. One of our rooms had air conditioning and was very comfortable but the other did not and was uncomfortably hot the entire stay (there was a desktop fan which helped a little bit was very noisy) Rooms were generally well cared for otherwise with clean bedding and decent facilities. Breakfast was quite good with plenty of choice and quantity. There can be a 15-20 minute wait however if you head down straight away. Location wise it was very good for local pubs (can strongly recommend the checkmate bar around the corner) and earls court. In summary a bit of a mixed bag, with staff, breakfast and location as positives and waits and possible room conditions as negative.

Great hotel for a quick stop in London. Relatively close to the metro and with rich breakfast in the morning.

I booked this property on booking with free cancellation. After a few days I see myself charging 464 euros for deleting. To date I have not yet received refund with bad service from both booking and from the hotel. I highly recommend both.

The most disgusting place I have ever stayed. Big stains on the carpet, No Fridge, No air conditioning. There was a small fan with a cord so short you could not angle it correctly to cool you. The curtains were filthy. The bathroom had broken tiles and mould which they just keep painting over by the look of it and the bed was so uncomfortable we had bad necks and backs every morning. Avoid this place. The only good thing about it was the location.

Location was great, close to tube stations and shops. The price was excellent too, £55 for a deluxe double bed and I only booked it the night before too. The room was nice and spacious. Only downside would be the TV was tiny and looked like it was bought in 2006. Overall I was happy with the place and I would definitely book this place again.

I did a triple room booking but the room was nothing like what I saw in the photo when I did the booking. It was a much smaller, cramped room in the basement without any windows so gave me claustrophobia. And there was a maze of corridors to navigate to reach my room. I'm only thankful that the air condition works. The reception staff were courteous and gave good advice and information. And the hotel overall is in a good location. If only for the room location, this stay would have been a 5 star stay for me. Preceding this stay we had stayed in triple rooms all over Europe and stayed in many 4 star or 5 star hotels in Paris, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Germany and Amsterdam.

Attention read everything. I've traveled a lot. In Italy and abroad. I am not a difficult person and I have a good spirit of adaptation. I am still disgusted by this experience, I found the bedbugs in the bed (bugs in THE bed). I had no claim… Go for the rampant dust, the diffuse stuffiness, the dirt that reigned everywhere, the rudeness of the staff, the breakfast poor, the only diversion was a vending machine with the brioscine, go for the water of the Victorian era, go for the sink Perpetually clogged, go for ants in the bathroom, go for the rust and smell… But the bedbugs in the Noooo bed, are a shame!

Absolutely worst places I've stayed EVER! The rooms were not as advertised, meaning you are sleeping on a cot in an old room. The people who worked at the front desk were MORE than rude. They said they could NOT give recommendations on restaurants. (I thought that was their job? ) One women was happy to print our tickets we purchased online and the following day a gentleman refused to print my boarding pass. If you hassle them enough, you can convince them to print, but they will still make you pay! No free Wi-Fi AT ALL! Not even in the lobby! I've stayed in hostels and budget hotels around Europe and this was BY FAR the WORST.

Good place to stay if you're not claustrophobic or need internet that works for 5 £/day. Hotel is clean thou.

A not too expensive hotel, sleeping. Pros: — Very clean — the room had tea, coffee, milk and tea and plastic cups. — Nice neighborhood, with good views and very quiet. Close to the metro (5 minutes walk) and close to a supermarket, laundry, restaurants / bars, etc. Cons: — Outdated facilities — mattress and pillows antique incomodisimos — staff unfriendly, little accessible hotel and nothing useful. They leave much to be desired. Anyway, for what I wanted to the hotel, which was to have a roof to sleep and a half decent and clean bed, for an affordable price, was not bad, but would not return.

Location is ok, spent 2 nights on a 3 person bedroom which was quite comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful.

The room was tiny (expected) dirty (not expected), the Wi-Fi was terrible. Had to pay 5£ for internet that was so slow most websites timed out. It was in an OK location mostly because of the tube. No AC also (expected). The rooms or claimed to be a 3 star hotel and I don't think it makes it to 2 stars.

This is a decent place to stay if you just want somewhere to rest your head on a stay to London. The transport links are great from this location and the hotel is easy to find using public transport. The rooms are a little on the small side but if you are just looking for somewhere to base yourself this is a good hotel.

Ok on a budget for one or maybe two days. I'm staying a week. Well, I will come by and sleep here at night if I must.

Very ' lifted up ', as if they we were super nice to somebody — the first night in which of them had to sleep sister hotel because something was broken and run down for the, she sky the in the raised, was the price much too high. We should sleep in a basement room with no Windows — but all without charge. Would have been even nicer. So if that wasn't helpful =. So = really annoying.
