Good place for stay while in London at a budget. As it is in the centre of city. Its very easy to move everywhere. Subway and bus stop is quite near. All tourist spots are also at walking distance.

Never book in this hotel. Very unsympathetic. Oblige to pay the room in advance without being able to see the room beforehand. Request to pay in cash (as by chance the terminal does not work) before leaving the joint joint all of a sudden the terminal was working again because we had to pay one night (cancellation fee)

In a quiet area and typically English building… correct reception. We don't do too much, but especially no more. The rooms are clean and comfortable. For breakfast ç is varied but not of good quality. Tea and coffee not tasty. The coffee is a powder that mixes directly with the water in the Cup… so we were going to the tavern St Georges right next door for an English breakfast. Ç is hotel is enough for a few nights rather quiet in the whole…

Lovely & polite staff. The hotel is just very tiny with the very basic & minimum requirements. Not ideal for comfort. Perfect for the budget conscious person just looking for a place to sleep for a few hours. It is a 2 star hotel after all.

For short city trip suitable LowBudget so do not expect too much, rooms very small but clean, receptionist not service-oriented and since our room was directly at the reception, it was unfortunately also very noisy. However, rooms and bathrooms were freshly renovated and the hotel is close to the bus station.

Good location close to the center of the hotel. Quality/price ratio, small room, comfortable bedding. Nice as not far from places to visit, restaurants and bars. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

I recommend it only because close to the center and you can get to the great attractions on foot. At the reception staff who just greets you, narrow rooms. Enter the room through the bathroom that has the shower over the toilet bowl. A few places for breakfast so wait for those who have finished eating.

Ok overall. Tiny room without a kettle, fine for value considering the location. Has USB phone charging sockets and Wi-Fi.

Upon arrival to 'Hotel' the first thing we saw was two men tinkering away with the boiler which instantly made me have concerns in regards to what we were going to face. Once we had paid the fee to stay at the hotel we asked what was served for breakfast. The desk assistant clearly didn't understand us much as he told us what time breakfast was and had to ask another man in a room behind him what we was asking. We weren't shown nor told where breakfast was served so didn't end up going for breakfast the following morning. When we got to the room the first thing we noticed was the size of the room itself. The paint job needed re-doing as it was chipping and there was a deep scratch in the door. The beds were acceptable however you could feel the springs coming through. The bathroom was the size of a built in wardrobe. The sink was poking over my lap as I used the toilet. There was no lock on the toilet door. The location was perfect in regards to visiting the main London attractions. Once we checked out we asked if we had to sign anything and the man behind the counter said no. We had noticed that they were holding an additional £50 on the booking card and we asked when that was going to be released. He said he will release it. It is now 3 days later and the money still hasn't cleared back to my account, so we called them to ask when it was going to be put back. He says it will take a further 3-5 working days as they have only just released it.

For a night OK for small money.

Basic hotel but clean. Strange bathroom setup which is a wetroom with no glass so the water goes everywhere. Breakfast is continental which was good news for my Dutch colleague. Good location with a 5-10 min walk to the tube. Would stay again for the price and location.

I have not been able to pay with a credit card for a hotel problem and I had to find a cashier to pay. Unheard of for a London hotel over this.

Hotel near Victoria station and close enough to London's main attractions. Only poor reception staff not friendly.

Dangerous place. I would not recommend it to visit. Bad experience. For £20 more you get something much better. The receptionist asked us for £100 in cash by not accepting credit card. The same receptionist broke close to midnight in our room indicating that there was a problem want to enter. In summary a place for anything safe.

Rooms is a bit small but not a major issue really, breakfast is basic but sufficient, no issues at all really.

It is a place to sleep. The single bed is half the normal size. When you open the door you find the bathroom, which measures less than a meter. The sprinkler covers between 30 and 40 Cms, it is impossible to bathe. The bathroom is wet all over. A lot of noise. Treat about pakistanies with lousy English. Around there are hundreds of hotels more. You should make a better one. It is close to the victoria station, which makes it quite accessible to the transport.

A small but adequate room, no tea making facilities was a disappointment. The wet room had a good shower but an unpleasant smell. I had a terrible sleep thanks to the couple in the room above me who were talking at the top of their voices way past 3am, I just hope the people being loud a few hours later woke them up!

Rooms not that updated, had a problem with lights like three or four times where they would go off, wouldn't even put us up into a spare room in the hotel. Smells a little too, also smell smoke when opening the window, not worth the money I paid at all, expected more for the price, never coming again, worst hotel ever. Didn't bother with breakfast, wanted to get out as soon as possible, only stayed here for the night which was plenty enough, rooms are way too small. Asked to leave bags there saves carrying them around until you can sign in at 2pm, didn't get a decent response, so wouldn't recommend to anybody unless they sort all of those things out, it's a 2star for a reason, tbh not even worth that. Had to give it 1star would of gave it 0 but wouldn't allow.

Truly agree with other comments to avoid this place! We end up in the room under stairs that reminded us a Harry Potter bedding under the staircase!

Reception staff not very friendly. Room smelled weird which made me feel like it wqs unclean. Bathroom was clean. Location was great. Breakfast was ok. Hotel decor could do with being updated. Also bedding including sheets pillows and mattress could do with being replaced.

Just one word to describe this place. Avoid.

Would rather pay to sleep on the street. An animal would choose not to sleep here. Disgusting cesspit would be complimentary.

No phone. Tiny room sweltering heat. 7 very narrow and steep flights of stairs. 1 locker old and worn. Smelly smoke from next room blowing in window. No sockets beside bed. No tea or coffee kettle. Old spring single mattress bed pushed together to make double. Tiny shower and toilet approx 3x2. Constant traffic noise all night. Weak wi fi constantly losing signal. My advice avoid like the plague. They take full payment when you arrive before you see the room. Broken bedside lamps.

Bad tasteless breakfast, the cheapest food from the nearest store. 7. Horrible bathroom no larger than a wardrobe, the sink and the toilet are basically IN the shower, so when you wash your hair all the soap and water stay on the floor. 8. Tiny breakfast room, 4 tables for 17 rooms, no place to sit or to make tea. 9. Old mattress, I felt the springs and couldn't sleep until I changed the bed. 10. Bad pillows, only 1 of 4 was usable. 11. Torn towel. 12. Scratched walls, scuffed doors. 13. No soap in the room, they forget to bring it. 14. Bad value for money, twin room for one costs 100 pounds, although you wouldn't want to spend 70 on it.

Brilliant location, checked in hotel at 11am, staff very friendly and couldn't do enough for you, room quite small but clean and comfy, would Deffo stay here again. And for all you people who complain don't forget this is a 2 star hotel not the Ritz!

The hotel is located in a very quiet residential area for London. With a cosy pub nearby. Ten minutes "walk is enough to have a good dinner or something similar.

Good value stopover in central London. Clean simple rooms with simple breakfast.

Spent one night at vegas hotel and it was wonderful, excellent Wi-Fi connection and customer service. I highly recommend Vegas hotel for anyone who wants to spend one/few nights in London.

Terrible place, yes it's in a good location and it's pretty cheap, but I'd rather pay more than stay there again. The toilet is ridiculously close to the wall, it's only usable if you don't have a left leg. Additionally you have to go through the en-suite to get into the room which is a major inconvenience, especially if you have a shower resulting in a wet floor and toilet, meaning you have to wear shoes to go in and out of the room. However that isn't the worst bit, I mean it's pretty bad already but the worst is that a member of staff burst into the room (without knocking and the door was locked with our key so he must have opened it) to ask when we were planning on checking out 2 hours before check out time thankfully I wasn't using the en-suite at the time cause the staff member would've got an eye full. The worst hotel experience I've had, but if you can put up with all that stuff then you are better than me.

Good welcoming and service. Wi-Fi is a bit random on the upper floors. New bathroom so it's all clean and modern. Walls a bit too thin so we can hear (or be heard) a loud neighbour.

Huge mistake. Entance to room straight through shower which is over toilet (thats what they call en suite. ) 3 sockets in the bathroom (1 under the shower) Safety first? Double room smaller than regular single, dirty carpet, no telephone, no radio, no Wi-Fi. Dusty and stuffy. Instead duved you'll get dirty blanket, doors which can't stay oppened. We've left that "hotel" after 2 hours without staying for breakfast (maybe even better). Don't go there.

Everybody wants to be in Vegas Hotel. Who doesn't? This place is a stunning place to visit. From their rooms to their staffs, excellent. And let us not forget the fast Wi-Fi that they offer.

The Vegas Hotel is a great place to visit and spend your night in. They have clean rooms, Wi-Fi access, very supportive staff and they are also really good with prices. Not to miss when you're looking for decent accommodation in Central London.

Stayed here 3 nights in Dec 2012. Carpet was damp, badly needed replacement, had to walk through "toilet" to get to room. Shower was separated by a curtain, toilet/basin was cramp, couldn't even bend to rinse, had a door which could not be left opened if room door was opened, sigh it's complicated. Dun even think of staying here. Tudor/Blair was so much more decent, for less $.

Don't stay at this hotel! The accommodation is dismal, the service sullen and the breakfast nutritionally appalling. I have never been served white bread toast, cornflakes and orange juice from concentrate in any hotel I have stayed at before, and with no choice. I would never eat this at home and feel insulted to be offered this when paying for a decent breakfast.
