Went to a High Tea with a friend at Zetter Townhouse. There was nothing wrong with the tea, or the service; and yet there was nothing outstanding either. Well, except the decor. The decor was fabulous. If you want to instagram, check this place out. We ordered both the sweet and savoury services — the sweet was definitely the better option. The sandwiches were slightly stale, but still enjoyable. The desserts, though, were killer. Minus the bee pollen choux, we both found it overwhelmingly sweet. The teas themselves were satisfactory, and they brought us both a second pot after we finished our first. For what we got, I think it was a little expensive, but it was a good time, and we certainly didn't regret it!

It's a cool bar but the cocktails are not fantastic for the price.

Came here for afternoon tea with my mum and we had a lovely time. We shared both afternoon tea menus and all the food was amazing, especially the sausage rolls! The tea was fantastic — I would highly recommend the roobios tea. Staff were very attentive and helpful, and the room itself is cosy and very quaint.

Having been to The Zetter Townhouse once before for a business meeting, I wanted to give the cocktail lounge a try for a date night. What immediately strikes you is the setting. Zetter Townhouse is 13-bedroom Georgian townhouse with the cocktail lounge located in the first floor and basement, nestled in St John's Square. What strikes you next is the interior. The cocktail lounge feels like the private residence of an eccentric family friend — it is cozy, eclectic and fun. Depending on where you sit in the lounge it can feel incredibly intimate — tables by the window — or communal — large sofa and stable on the center of the room. The waiters add to the eclectic and cozy feel, being slightly mysterious but very attentive. The crowd was a combination of couples and groups in their 30s. The menu is simple but it provides enough of a twist for those feeling adventurous. Zetter Townhouse also offer a non alcoholic menu that features mocktails", teas and hot drinks. The Virgin Bloody Mary was short of extraordinary. For those after a sweeter cocktail the Flintlock with Beefeater 24 gin, gunpowder tea tincture and dandel is something special. The waiter mentioned the recipes for tinctures, bitters and herbal remedies have inspired not only the cocktails but the snacks offers which include sharing dishes and individual small plates. Highly recommended for couples, groups of 3 to 4 and tourists visiting London wanting to get a sense of homely eclectic style.

Quirky cocktail bar that also does a good selection of small plates for a light meal. Often seems fully booked online but it's well worth popping by of the offchance. Good service from friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Nice pub with decent food for such a place ; worthwhile putting too. Very noisy, as always but would be good to have the restaurant part à but more isolated.

Lovely place with a nice interior and food. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant has a very unpretentious entrance, so pay attention to the address, or you might miss it!

Wonderful service and helpful staff. Small rooms but so many attentions to detail around the place there is something to see everywhere you look. I love the decor and the food is amazing. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

We had a "boozy high tea" here, and it was pretty great — the tea cocktails were amazing! The food wasn't the best I've ever had, and the whole operation feels a little ramshackle, but it's a unique experience and one that I'd happily repeat.

Such a cosy intimate space for afternoon tea with a lovely old world feel. The menu has something for everyone and we were given all the time we needed to enjoy the delicious treats.

A nice high tea. Service good. Hotel is a nice boutique hotel. I'm a bit biased as I compare the high teas to what you get in Dubai — which is a bit unfair.

Cute little place for the perfect high tea experience, situated just behind the busy ad buzzing Oxford Street. We ordered both the tea sets to share, good selections of sandwiches and cakes, however, it's lack of tea selections, but being there just made up the whole experience as we felt like we were back in time at the Victoria era, it's all down to the interiors and decorated. Another thing to top it up was the customer service, super staff friendly and efficient service. If you are not much into tea, there is a cocktails list which you can easily turn high tea with scones into "high in alcohol with scones", all reasonable prices for central London, would I go back!? It's a big fat yes!
