I’ve been here before and to Sanderson but I prefer this, love Ian Schragers work and of Phillipe Stark.

We have stayed here several times. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Hot and powerful showers. Wonderful staff. The best location. No negatives at all.

Relaxing atmosphere.

Was looking for dinner before theatre and decided to try here as they had a £20 2 course pre-theatre deal. Restaurant was very stylish, toilets are a bit dark and confusing! There was 7 of us and 6 had off the pre-theatre menu. I had sweet and sour snapper with jasmine rice. It was very tasty with lots of fish and vegetables. Too much rice so if a few are going I’d suggest picking a different side each and share. One person had tempura batter fish and chip and the batter was amazing, I’m having that next time! My dessert was coconut and lemongrass mouse with a lovely ice cream. The mouse was in a white chocolate case, yummy. Was a lovely dinner and will definitely return. Service was also very good.

Lovely hotel … staff are so welcoming and attentive! Rooms were absolutely spotless and the breakfast was amazing. Our waiter remembered who wanted what type of coffee! It’s those little things that make all the difference! Beds were super comfortable and shower was fabulous! Great location for theatres etc.

I cannot say enough good things about the people who work at this hotel! My friend broke his foot walking up the street. The staff went beyond in helping him. They were extremely caring and concerned for several days. We needed help mailing boxes and the concierge was remarkable! The waiter in the restaurant was beyond excellent! The food in the restaurant was the best we ever ate! I have been to at least a 1000 hotels in my life — this one was seriously off the hook. I stayed her when it first opened and it was just as good then!

My daughter booked the Narnia themed afternoon tea for my birthday treat. We enjoyed the tea and champagne. The Den was very snug with a Christmassy feel. We loved the Ted Baker tea sets. The cakes were intricately made and delicious. Surprisingly filling. Michelle who served us today provided a fantastic service and even went out of her way to make it a bit special with a Birthday cake and candle.

It’s was very welcoming with fabulous and cosy at the Den. Perfectly for a business meeting or meeting a friend.
I was there for afternoon tea and had a great time catching up with my friend, we really enjoyed the afternoon tea & amazing service from Michelle. We spent such a lovely evening there. Thank you so much Michelle for looking after us you are a star service, will definitely be back again! x.

I treated my sister for afternoon tea in The Den at the hotel and enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. Inesa was a fantastic server, she was kind, attentive and could answer our questions about the menu. There was a lot of variety in the food and you definitely got your money’s worth in terms of quantity and quality! My only request would of been more savoury items with protein! Fantastic experience and would definitely recommend!

Cozy clean small-ish rooms. I like the lightning and the designer bed with the pillow headboard. Just a shower. Toilet is auto-flush, infra-red sensors. Food is really good but pricey. Service is impeccable. Location is strategic for tourists.

Perfect location near Covent Garden and Soho. Trendy, chic hotel-Lounge like atmosphere in the lobby which is lit by candles at night. The room was big for London standards immaculately clean, sexy and stylish. I like the changing colored lights on the headboard. The pre-reserve breakfast is a good deal. Floor to ceiling windows add a super cool vibe to the room. Lots of smart, extra touches in the room. All of the staff is wonderful, especially the Concierge. They were very friendly, professional and gave spot on recommendations along with detailed walking directions — which as a visitor, I appreciated. The only reason for 1 missing star is the outlets near the bed did not work and the housekeepers woke me up every day slamming the doors doing room checks. Will definitely stay again.

Really nice hotel in the heart of London. Between Covent Garden and Leicester Square. Very well presented rooms, great air conditioning and a great night. We were upgraded to a garden balcony with candlelit table. Thoroughly recommend. 10/10.

Luxury contemporary hotel with luxury prices. Fabulous location. The rooms are spectacular with their wonderful lighting arrangements and great views over London. The staff were all very capable. Downside was the bar… too dark and the table service for cocktails took forever even though the bar was virtually empty.

We just so enjoyed our afternoon tea in The Den! Michelle and Inesa looked after us wonderfully and the food was spectacular, unusual and a fiesta of flavour and texture. Beautiful china and delightful artwork. A real treat!

Very quirky bar that's worth a visit but over air conditioned. Great rooms. Spotless. They provide tea and coffee making facilities which a lot of the five Star hotels have stopped doing.

Nice hotel centrally located with helpful staff. Has a hip quirky modern decor. Your stay entitles you to use the box gym in the same building which is a chain of gyms with lots of functional equipment, a boxing ring cardio equipment and classes. There is a "secret bar" with decent cocktails and a regular bar/restaurant that serves breakfast lunch and dinner.

Beautifully artistic reception lobby. Does not feel or look like a hotel but rooms wlare spacious for the west end, clean with lovely bathroom. The bar is certainly worth a visit and drink, gorgeous.

Great location, 5 min from Trafalgar Sq and Leicester Sq. Many restaurants and businesses around. Very nice stuff. Rooms are pretty small yet cleaned and organized. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was OK-not rich enough. Theres a gym with a free access to the visitors of the hotel. Had a great time there.

4++++++ Great hotel, great position. Very clean & bright room Staff were great. The bar area is really nice. Not 5 stars for the smaller bed & the breakfast although nice, my egg wasn't runny on the second day. I would stay here again.

Beautiful & elegant boutique style hotel with a fantastic Asian infused Cuba restaurant "Asia de Cuba"! The cocktail menu are brilliant, the bar tender is great. The hotel also have good conference room for business meetings. The rooms have colour change lighting. Really romantic. Many celebrities choose here as their London visit base, such as Paris Hilton.

Large, bright open meeting room spaces, equipt with presentation screens and doors that open out into a private patio. The bedrooms are ample in size, but with the floor to ceiling windows, they feel big and spacious with plenty of natural light. The bars and restaurants are all different and quirky. Fantastic staff, impressive and something a bit different. Would highly recommend.

Just returned from a fantastic nights stay here. We booked for my father's 60th. Had emailed in advance to mention this and was delighted when we arrived to be told our rooms had been upgraded and a nice little dessert with "happy birthday" on the plate left in the room. Lovely gesture. The hotel is superb. Excellent location right in the centre of theatres, bars and restaurants. It has ultra modern and unique decor and the rooms were spacious and very clean. The restaurant serving breakfast was really lovely and staff couldn't do enough for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Very nice clean hotel. It's centrally located but out of the way of all the hustle and bustle. I stay at a lot of hotels so it bothers me when they don't have a good blow-dryer. The blow dryer here is really good by hotel standards. They also provide all the usual amenities including conditioner. My only complaint is that it is on the pricier side. But you get what u pay for.

It is my first time in London and I am happy that we booked with st Martin's lane. The staff seem welcoming and we were greeted with a fancy bottle of water along with macaroons delivered to our room :) the room size is decent and I do not feel crammed (I'm from north american), the space is well utilized and modern. It is very central, walking distance to many landmarks and steps away from the Leicester station. If I come back to London I will definitely book with them again.

This is our favourite hotel in London, having stayed here about 5 or six times now. Not only is the location superb, very easy to get to any of the attractions London has to offer, but the staff go out of there way to make your stay enjoyable. We have stayed in a different room every time we have visited and cannot fault one of them. No matter on which side of the hotel the room was positioned we have not had an interrupted nights sleep, which when you consider this is central London, is a remarkable achievement.

We booked afternoon tea in the den and after a bit of an issue with the location of our afternoon tea we had an excellent afternoon. We had to wait for a bit in the bar of the restaurant, but our wait was tempered with prosecco so no complaint there. Once we sat for our afternoon tea we enjoyed impeccable service, delightful food and great tea and coffee.

A little expensive in relation to value but not bad, also centric.

Lack of natural light was a problem at my training event. Lighting levels were low in general, especially noticeable in club like toilets — trying hard to be trendy but just very odd! Coffee wasn't great but at least the pastries were lovely. Also unfotunately suffers from poor phone reception throughout much of the building.

The rooms are very neat and have a mobile phone in them if you need one to stay connected during your trip. The breakfast were great with pleasant waiters. It is located right in the middle of London with walking distance to many of London turist attractions.

Wonderfully presented 5 — star hotel in the heart of London. Minutes away from Covent Garden, Leicester Sq, Trafalgar Square and serviced brilliantly by near by Leicester Sq station and Embankment station. The staff are extremely welcoming and professional and are a pleasure to deal with. The quality of the rooms are all great and all have a mini bar, which are stocked handsomely. There is also complimentary entry to the gym next door which has every equipment one could desire. The on-site bar serve an array of beautifully prepared cocktails in a chic setting and often there is live, tasteful, performances from musicians. The restaurant serve a wide range of tasteful dishes with a Cuban vibe. Overall a fantastic place to stay — would highly recommend.

I encountered some minor issues in my garden room and got rewarded with an unwanted gift. They said next time I'll be treated differently. I literally live there during the year. But the truth has to be said. (6/6/2017) • The excellent service of calling back to apologize from the CFO was such a surprise and generous way of servicing a loyal customer as myself! Thank you and The penthouse is all mine whenever am in london for the next 2 years! That’s a gift that makes you respect your second home! DONT MISS OUT MY COLLECTION OF PICS!

Amazing location — walk to theater, museums, great food and shops! Very contemporary and clean. The staff at the reception is a little stuck up and not very helpful, but their concierge service was good. Room service was great!

We stayed 4 nights in July in '17. Great place, clean and updated room, service is absolutely top notch and breakfast menu cart is amazing. Location is the best! We highly recommend and will be back for sure!

We met for a friend's birthday in the bar. Excellent service, good music, would highly recommend. Not the cheapest but worth it.

Hotel well located in London has the decoration sign Philippe Starck. The rooms all white and very clean are not very large but comfortable. Nice bathroom. Possibility to change the color of the lighting of the room which from the outside gives multiple colors to the windows of the rooms. Original! In the evening the bar is lively and serves good cocktails. Nice staff.

The Good: Stylish rooms, great ambience. The location was perfect and the bell boys were really helpful! The Bad: The reception staff were not as welcoming, and could appear rather unfriendly at times. The functionality of the rooms, despite its stylish interior, is questionable. Overall, I was pleased with my stay. I just thought that the finer details could be improved.

This place is way nicer than I imagined from the photos. Customer service is outstanding. Room amenities are great. Ambience is a mix of hip/trendy and luxurious. Restaurant has great food. Nothing bad to say about this place.

I was here for afternoon tea with some family members. The reception of the hotel despite a clear effort to look stylish seems a bit randomly assembled in my opinion, the restaurant/cafe area on the contrary is very pleasant and well put together. Staff was very attentive and helpful at all times. The choice of teas was quite standard, I wish there would be a couple more options. The desserts were all very tasty and beautifully assembled. Overall very pleasant afternoon.

A very modern hotel with a pretty cool bar scene. Definitely worth checking out! We had drinks in the very chick lounge bar and the atmosphere was swanky, luxurious and dimly lit. I recommend at least stopping by for a drink to check out their ultra modern style.

Excellent location and great staff.

I was visiting a guest at this hotel and the lobby and bar area are lovely. I've heard from several people that the rooms are nice too. It's hard to beat the location for this hotel, central but not on a road that would stay noisy beyond midnight.

We had such a great stay at St Martins Lane. The service was impeccable and the interior of the hotel was stunning. Loved the cocktails in Blind Spot too. The room we had was spacious and had a huge bathroom with a gorgeous bath. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms are OK. Kept waiting for a few hours at check in. Penthouse is equivalent to standard doubles I have stayed in with other chains. Nothing special but you could do a lot worse :)

Great hotel and great location! The service was great and the facilities are very modern and clean! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom and bath were nice as well. It was a bit pricey and the breakfast is a bit underwhelming for how much you pay. Overall, it was a quite a pleasant hotel!

An effortlessly cool hotel, with a funk bar and very chique interior. Rooms are modern and well furnished and the location can't be beaten. Only issue I had was the bins outside the room on the street were emptied very early in the morning — not the hotels fault really, but perhaps a room request might keep you away from this. Otherwise highly recommended.

Totally amazing hotel with the most amazing staff. Everyone was attentive and could not of been more helpful. You can see why these guys set themselves apart from other hotels as they have the look, the feeling and the Customet service. Thank you everyone for an anniversary experience and memory to remember.
