Staff shockingly rude and unprofessional. Rooms filthy, poor wi fi. Beds short and hard. Extremely noisy, floor vibrating when other guest in rooms are walking. Our personal items was locked in a room and our key was deactivated, by receptionist who wanted see the ID.

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. Amazing location, close to pimlico underground. Will 100% be back.

The rooms are small, but it's clean and nice. The hotel is close to everything. I would recommend it every time.

Sidney Hotel Victoria London, horrible customer service! Refuses to let us reschedule or issue a refund due to the pandemic. Every other company we booked let us either reschedule or refunded us. They were great, but this place has been the worst! We saved for a long time and really looked forward to this trip. When we do get to go and we do rebook it won't be with them! HORRIBLE@@@@@@

Awful place rooms are really small breakfast is really poor not the tidiest hotel in Victoria location is okay.

Over priced on all aspects noisy with workmen in the mornings. Breakfast is poor. Bed was built for midget.

Great location, nice rooms and staff, Just a short walk to Victoria Station with some nice Pubs & food on route.
I would have liked the choice of an english breakfast but not a big issue.
If you get a room on the ground floor at times the smoke comes in from the outside area, but we just shut the window and used the aircon.

The twin room is small but clean and nicely decorated. It’s a modern mini.

Do not recommend. Our first room the fuse blew so they put us in an apartment down the street with no AC. When we asked for another room the next day the staff member said sure but when we came back that night the message had not been passed along. We finally spoke to a member of the staff who knew how to treat guests and he put us in a triple room but had to leave the next day and move into another double. The rooms were nice and location is good but I can't bring myself to give more than two stars for having to switch rooms each night we stayed here.

Great location, rooms are tiny and this is what you’d expect for this type of the hotel in the area. Minus one point for really boring breakfast. Better avoid it in the hotel and go to the nearby cafes in the morning. Bathroom is ok and the shower is spacious enough. We arrived with large suitcases and they put us in o the no elevator section. Thankfully, the receptionist helped us to lift our luggage to the second floor.

To start, right after I booked this hotel online my bank called me to say my credit card had been compromised. Arrived at the hotel to a tiny room with a single bed which myself and my husband could not fit in. We asked the staff if we could upgrade to a larger room that we would gladly pay extra for and the woman at the front desk was rude and unhelpful and made it seem like we were asking her to move mountains for us. She said they were fully booked and couldn't help. They refused to refund us our money and so we had to take a hit a book another hotel. The phone in our room was not allowing us to dial out so we could call other hotels and the same woman at the front desk wasn't helping us to figure out the issue at all. She offered us the use of the front desk phone and then charged us £1.50 for the call! She then also charged us £30 because the room I booked was single occupancy only (which I discovered in the fine print of my booking after, I'll admit that was my mistake) because my husband slept in it with me that night (on the floor mind you because the bed wasn't big enough). And instead of being helpful and understanding they charged us and said they would continue to charge us if he stayed there. Aside from all of that, the room was tiny, the lobby started bumping music at 7am which woke us up. The walls seem paper thin and you can hear everything. The shower is hardly big enough for one person and the breakfast wasn't even worth eating.

We recently stayed at Sidney Hotel in London Victoria for our wedding anniversary. Everything was perfect from our greeting by Max at the front door, to our welcome champagne on check in. The suite was beautifully decorated; the bedroom was on a mezzanine level and was well equipped. All the staff worked seamlessly to ensure each customer received impeccable customer service and strived to maintain high standards. Thank you for making our stay very special and very enjoyable.

Dirty, small rooms with inadequate beds, reception and restaurant staff little courteous. The rooms in the attic without a view and with Windows covered by wall. Towels Lerci. Breakfast just enough for variety of foods.

Great hotel and nice staff! Rooms are all renovated and beds are comfy. Second time I've stayed there and Would highly recommend. Good selection for breakfast!

Bus stop is right at your door step. The room is rather small with affordable price. The heater works well. Hot showers with tiny bathroom. European breakfast available. Baggage storage for free. Beers at the bar.

Located two steps away from everything. Good rooms, small but not lacking of anything. Maybe a more thorough cleaning.

The location is very good. You are a 5-minute walk from Victoria station, and also 5 minutes from Pimlico. There is a bus stop right at the door which takes you to Trafalgar Square. Breakfast is rather poor. No hot food, egg type, bacon, etc. There is only croissant, cereal and toasted bread with butter and jam, coffee and orange juice (not natural). The rooms are very small. It seems to be a normal thing in London, to save space. They are clean however. Bathroom also clean, with nothing to reproach. The staff is very attentive to the guests. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The place was good overall, but there was a chaos at the hotel's restaurant during breakfast. The waitresses looked lost when many people started coming as well as the breakfast was so pure for the price of the hotel only some bread, croissants, cerial and then drinks… The room was nice and clean but the bathroom had a weird annoying smell that wasn't coming off.

Small rooms, bad airconditioning, bad beds, bad breakfast, bad service! Will never return to this place!

I WOULD NOT recommend this hotel. The breakfast was good and the location wasn't bad, which is why I gave at least a 1 star… The staff were rude except for the bartender Theodore and the gentleman that checked us out. But I have never, EVER, stayed at a hotel that I didn't have control of what the temperature was in MY room. We stayed during the coldest days London has seen in 5 years and THEY DIDN'T TURN THE HEAT ON UNTIL 8:30PM… Who does that?! And… due to the snow I had to call my airline and rebook my flight, mind you a FREE 800 number… we were charged 30£ FOR THE CALL! A FREE CALL! WITHIN THE COUNTRY! DO NOT STAY HERE. We even asked about rebooking for our return for 3 days… they wanted to charge us $600 for for 3 days 2 nights off season. We found another place, where we have control of our heat and a better location for $120. Pass and look around.

Close to Metro. Very comfortable, the rooms are great. Very good breakfast.

A good priced Hotel with a great location close to Victoria Station and many tourist sites such as Palacio de Buckhigham or BigBen. A pleasant walk (45 min) from the museum area. At the door for bus 24 that takes you to the center (Leicester Square, British Museum) or to Camden Town. The breakfast was very bad.

Pretty nice for the price. Pro: super nice shower free breakfast included in a cute restaurant with warm croissants and ¡good! coffee Con: beds are very small, not too clean linen (saw little stains) and a very weird zebra blanket.

Room was clean and practical. There was a bar for the evening which is unusual but a nice addition. Plenty of seating for breakfast and the choice was ok. Staff friendly and helpful.

The sydney is a small hotel not far from Victoria station. Perfect for anyone not wanting anything too grand and if you just want a couple of nights stay in London. Reasonably priced by London standards and is clean and friendly.

Very clean and lovely hotel. A bit cramped in the hallways, but the rooms were big enough. There was a slight problem with our door not closing, but that seems to have been the first time, so we were just a bit unlucky.

The room was functional but a bit dated, even though it looked as though it had been refurbished recently. It was tiny but they gave me a small double bed even though I only booked a single. There is refurbishment going on at the hotel and banging started at 08:45, 15 minutes earlier than they said it would. There are three ironing boards/irons that are fixed to the wall at various points but only one of them worked. Hallways on one side of the building are quite nice, but on the other are incredibly shabby with carpets coming up badly at the edges. The breakfast was okay and the staff were really nice. I paid about 1/3 of full price and I wasn't worth any more than that.

Possibly one of the worst hotels we have booked. Beyond inconvenient to deal with. Very very rude reception staff. Would NOT recommend to anyone.

Very unpleasant experience. Our room was very small, probably the smallest I have ever encountered. This room (306) facing the main road has a single glaze window with gaps in the handle locks. So insulation was zero. On top of that, the hotel was doing renovation works so noise and painting smell was present. We asked staff if we could get a less noisy room but they replied it was fully booked. So we spent 2 of the worst nights ever in London. Complimentary breakfast was tasteless. Bad taste coffee and poor choices. No savoury. Just croissants and cereals. We had breakfast once, then the day after we went to a bakery. To summarize, the worst experience in London, staff is useless, breakfast is tasteless. Never again.

Nice rooms. They are small but have everything you need. Located in a good area.

Room was decorated nice, bed was comfy, however, the to was very noisy, whether that was freaking floor boards from guests in neighboring rooms or corridors, the very noisy AC which I had to turn off due to loud sloshing water noises or even the panel that fell away from the wall banging against the bedside unit startling me awake thinking that the room was being broken into. Breakfast was ok, continental is the only option. Would be a very good rating if the noise issues were addressed as a good night sleep is the most important factor for a hotel. Room 605

Initially, was not pleased. My company booked my room for a business trip (room was prepaid) and although the staff was mild mannered about it… they sent me through hoops and loops just to check in. The room I'm in its very small (not inviting to say the least) but once adjusted out can be cozy (but extremely small). Hotel is undergoing renovation; however, I'm not staying in a newly renovated room so my experience may differ from others. But on the plus side of things… they offer complimentary breakfast.

Great price for the location, not the best service or rooms but it is worth the price. We got one of the new rooms with AC — big thumbs up for that!

Comfortable Hotel to quickly reach the center of the city. Small room Breakfast.

Great for the price. But the rooms are tiny, and the drinks are expensive. The hot water was out in my room amd I was given a key to to shower in another room which turned to be a used room from someone who checked out. And the Wi-Fi was slow. But the location is great, never had a problem getting a cab and there were many restaurants around the corner.

The rooms are very small and the room is very bad. Of a balcony not even the shade. Poor breakfast, practically composed exclusively of indecent "croissants" of butter only. Paradoxical, in London, the absence of the typical breakfast.

I have been to Sydney with girlfriends in February 2017 in B&B formula for four days, friendly and helpful staff, small but clean room, good breakfast, centrally located, 3 minutes walk from Pimlico Station and 5 from Victoria station, quiet area where there They're just hotels, perfect!

The rooms are rather small, the furnishings are some of the years, but the price and location are great! The cleanliness, especially the bathroom, is very good. With a better breakfast (there was only toast and croissant with "jam" plus fruit/cereal — pity) I would have given 5 stars.

I have been there a month ago, I was not at all happy. Bad reception, the rooms are very small and noisy and creaky floors. The bathroom of one square meter unlivable. At night they even opened the door to the room. I certainly wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The staff here at the Sidney really made our stay pleasurable. They really helped us navigate London and the sights to see.

Sidney Hotel is the best value for money near victoria station. The rooms very absolutely great and the service, perfect. The room was warm, comfortable and clean.

Quiet neighborhood and very characteristic, good service metro is 3 blocks away and bus stop at the door of the hotel. You can go to areas more central and tourist walk easily.

Excellent accommodation, fab breakfast and transport to & pick up from Pimlico Underground Station. Our room was beautiful and had everything we needed. Very comfy bed and huge bathroom with all the toiletries we needed. Really Sidney Hotel is one the best hotels near Gatwick airport.

Nice staff, comfortable rooms, very affordable. You don't need more than the space given really. The rooms were a bit noisy (sounds from the street) and cold though, and the breakfast was little more than plain bread with butter.

We stayed at Sidney hotel for our weekend was amazing. Located at the heart of the London. The room is pretty and nice. Breakfast is very tasty. Definitely will go back again.

Rooms small breakfast almost non-existent high cost for what it offers everything is restored.

Had a great stay here, all staff are helpful and polite. Rooms are clean and tidy good to see extended breakfast times. Have stayed here many times and will stay here many more times.

Small Room. The bathroom is even smaller. Towels had dirty edges. Bedding well. For About it enough. Breakfast for Sweet. Except jam u Croissant, there is nothing. Oh, but a box of fruit. No cheese, no sausage, no Egg. The location is good, though. Short ways to the river Thames, Victoria Station, ca 20 min to Harrods.

Carlos. Rooms are tiny, though clean. Breakfast only, always the same and it is better that you are getting out soon or if you don't wait on the stairs. The perfect location, with bus stop 24 at the door, which takes you around the centre and even to Camden Town.

The only negative point of the hotel, is that you are asking 25 pounds of the signal, that you return them on the last day, and you have to change at the airport, also any receptionist speaks Spanish, nor bother to understand you. The service is smaller than that of an airplane, the breakfast as you repeat you look bad, the rooms spacious and clean.
