Pro: it's clean. Nice staff at reception. Con: Very small room around 80ft. I was given room on the 3rd floor and it can get very warm when the sun shine through without any AC. Got cooler during the night.

Hotel is nice and cozy. Staff are kind and accommodating. There are mild issues. Shower head has a lot of mineral build up. No A/C but our 1floor/2nd story window was open and had a nice breeze, except it overlooked front door and all smokers stood there. I may as well have had a few myself! Elevator/ lifts are small. One is TINY! ROOMS are quiet and comfy.

Great location but staff Bureau unprofessional unlike the staff on the very polite floor, beware of rooms that like all London hotels can be really small. Our this year was OK. Breakfast if not included excessively expensive!

Nice standard hotel, it is but run-down and needs some loving. Breakfast is not recommended. Placement is very good code to tube.

The staff tells us that there "would be" a water damage in their establishment, not to worry, that a taxi will pick us up to go to another hotel nearby: Central PARK…
Exhausted, we follow the movement without saying anything, a little surprised…
Except that in the evening I consulted their site… and rooms were available?!
So this leads me to think that it may be a common practice to dangle a 3 ⭐ ️ room with attractive prices to actually transfer you wherever they like… we were far from what we plane saw, and what we expected! Tiny room, old limit corridor with wall-plated planks…
In short for 2 nights no time nor want to lose to procrastinate… since it was clean… But at least you bring these elements. Because it still seems well-grounded!

We stayed there for 3 nights, May 2018. We encountered a friendly and helpful service. The rooms are indeed small, but clean and bright. As we had a late check-in and the room was not ready yet we got free breakfast. Our room was opposite to the street and was quiet. However, the walls are not too strong, thus you need to have quiet neighbors to have quiet nights… All in all it gets 5 stars because its a very nice location in central London with a great price performance ratio, we enjoyed our stay there.

The breakfast is a little pricey for what we are offered and keeps the luggage for 1 pound/u… CA soon become expensive.

Discreet Hotel in zone 1; OK quality price, do 3 stars and no more because I found a big spider in the bathtub just entered the room.

A lot of noise at night impossible to sleep. The slamming doors and the footsteps.

Tiny, noisy rooms with extremely poor service. Plumbing didn't really work, which resulted in the room flooding. Only good thing about it is the location.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. No one in the hotel knows the Spanish and the communication not dominating the language has been difficult. Good location, and communication with Metro as well.

The hotel is superbly located. The rooms are very small as in many places, however you could renovate the room again, windows not quite dense (partly very cold) floor partly with holes, shower head canceled etc. Hotel automatic entrance door over 5 days not repaired always had to be opened manually… Would have been able to overlook this, has a good hotel to spend the night. Service is quite good though.

Pros: It was clean and cheap and easily accessible from London Paddington station. Would be an okay place to stay as a single person or possibly two small people. Cons: Rude, unhelpful people at the front desk. Standard rooms are incredibly small. You can't fit a push chair in the lift that goes to the floor with the family sized rooms. Hard beds. Would NOT recommend for families.

Hotel in a served area, bus, train station and two underground stops of two different lines a few minutes, also convenient to Hide Park nearby several places to eat and have breakfast, the double room on the fourth floor accessible by Lifts and narrow hallway with double bed The 160 Cm and the place for a single bedside table located on the fourth floor, clean with bathroom with large shower and tiny washbasin, wardrobe, desk, kettle with cups, coffee, tea and cream, a safe and hairdryer.
In the room assigned me with Window on the back and Silenziisa I found well 6 electrical outlets "English type" 4 under the desk and two in the bathroom.
Recepzionisti cordial, the room ready by the afternoon but to leave the luggage in deposit you have to pay 1 pound to baggage, basically for 2 trolley 2 pounds on arrival and two on the day of departure.
For a short holiday I would also recommend this hotel.

The rooms were very small and the bathroom also, plus quite old. Also, at night there was a lot of noise inside, probably from boilers or washing machines, which made it impossible to sleep.

Very friendly staff at check-in. They hold your bags for you at 1 pound per bag which is fair. My room was very warm and cosy. Shower was good too.

Had a lovely stay. Felt at home. Last night didn't get much sleep but bare in mind I was there least 5 days. Stuff was very helpful would recommend to a friend. Good price for the location only paid £50 a night.

Nice staff. Room on 2 level for 3 guest. One heater so really warm at the top and cold in the really small bathroom. Nowhere to put our stuff in it. No hanger to our coat. Enough just for two 2 nights.

Outside looks excellent. Inside gives a lot to be desired. The rooms are dwarf, there is no space independently if it is room for two or singular. They do not have power adapters so if you are European I recommend buying one first.

So the little worries that we met: Before I even saw the room I got electrocuted with the main switch which sent juice to each contact.
The faucet dripping in the bathroom, the failed heating, the insulation with the outside void. The insulation with the interior even worse, our room closed we hear the elevator, the other guests, the kettles that heat etc…
The beds are not comfortable, the bedding is unpleasant, the room is poorly equipped (only one functional plug on both present and all are English).
The reason for the two stars resides in the price and location even I can only advise you to go look more conforming has defact that is no further.

We booked a double room and knew it would be with a bed at the French.
We found a room that probably would have gone well for a single Lilliputian. The bathroom is tiny too. The access corridor on the whole floor is very narrow.
It came to us to ask how a rescue team would be able to reach quickly with the necessary equipment and to carry away in case of necessity a person of normal size.
In two people, in such a small room, it was truly a singular experience.
The location is great but in our opinion a business should not take advantage by proposing for the accommodation of tourists of the premises that is likely that once they were destined for the accommodation of the staff.

Conveniently located and reasonably priced. However, our room was tiny and the bed was short and narrow. I am not tall and I could not fit. There was a constant draft of icy cold air from the window. We could also hear everything happening in the adjacent rooms and the street, including drunk blokes at 3am. Bottom line, spend a bit of extra money and go somewhere else.

Just arrived, they sent us to another hotel saying they had had a problem with our room. As I have seen in different comments, it happens quite often.

Small rooms, the entrance door to the room collides with the beds, narrow baths, does not work the radiator, expensive, to a part of the rooms you can not access by elevator and you have Q upload the luggage by narrow stairs. Very unpleasant.

Very happy with the accommodation, service and location for the price. If you are looking for something affordable for a family in a perfect location I would definitely recommend it. We had a quad room with one double bed and two twins. The twins were in a loft up a small spiral staircase, we have two children under 4 so we used a suitcase to block the top, but it was perfect because the adults had their own space after the kids went to bed. The room is very small, but we didn't spend much time in the room and were out in the city most of the time. Also the beds had only one small pillow per person so I recommend asking for more.

The rooms are very small by German standards but in good condition. The walk around the bed was very narrow. The bathroom was small but fine! Breakfast was cheap and adequate (compared to foreign cafes).

The hotel is very well located at Paddington Station and has the ideal exit around exploring the city. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple, but offer everything you need. But you shouldn't expect a lot of space or something special. Breakfast is a very simple continental breakfast. A little annoying is that there are permanently 2 employees standing at breakfast and chatting while watching you eat.
All in all, a hotel that is good for London conditions. But if you want more than the most necessary, you have to take a little more money into your hands.

Small, crammed, smothered, expensive. We had to ask twice to change room, didn't even pass, there was no place to open even a trolley. Two in a bed by a square and a half, of course.

I originally booked into the Prince William hotel, but on arrival I was directed to the Royal Eagle (same street, just over the road) — ostensibly due to building work, but I always take these explanations with a pinch of salt. The room I got was very agreeable though; warm, clean and spacious. My only gripe was that there were not many plug sockets in convenient locations, but this wasn't much of a problem. The staff have been polite and helpful, and the location is very good for London transport links and local shops.

The toilet broke, the sheets had hair from previous guests on them and the doors and floors creaked. You also feel the train when it goes by every couple of minutes if you're on the ground floor.

Good price, good location but little care of the rooms.

It's a great location, and good value. The rooms are small. Most of the pictures here are taken from angles that make the rooms appear a little bigger. We stayed in a 2 twin bed room for our 4 night duration. Since we arrived early, the staff provided us with a smaller room, since our original room wasn't going to be ready until official check in time. This first room was very small — barely any room for a suitcase. And the bathroom was super tiny! We switched to out original room when it was available, and it was slightly bigger than the last, but the bathroom was much more spacious. This was also on the 5th floor, where the windows open up to a beautiful view. The staff were very helpful! Couple things to note: Since the 5th floor in an extension, only one of the two elevators go to the 5th floor. The elevators are very small, so you can barely fit two people and a couple small suitcases. When we were there, there was a large school group, which meant a huge queue for the elevator. However this wasn't an issue for us, since we were out most of the day. Overall, great value if you are just looking for a place to rest during your visit to London.

Traditional London hotel with facilities just as you expect. Small, but clean rooms. Perfect location a couple of minutes walk from Paddington tube and train station, including Heathrow Express.

Noisy and tiny rooms. Looks nice from outside but rough once upstairs. Staff nice though but they don't have to stay in the rooms/rabbit hutches.

Amazing location. Just near Hyde Park and Paddington and Lancaster Gate stations. Tons of stuff in walking distance. Bar is small. Continental breakfast in the am is not mind-blowing, but will hold you over til you gave a more filling meal. Plenty of breads and pastries. Wifi is almost non-existent. Good for a quick email check but definitely no Instagram or snapchat. Might be able to stream a song or two. Otherwise, expect little to no Wi-Fi.

Tiny rooms with walls thin as paper. Awkward cramped shower with rain-water shower head meaning your hair will always get wet. No fridge. Scant breakfast. Stupid Wi-Fi sign-in system.

Lovely location of City of Westminster, walking distance to underground, and Hyde Park, good service.

The rooms are small but sufficient. However, the breakfast is shockingly bare. Also, the Wi-Fi is weak. Overall, the location and rooms balance out the meager amenities.

Nice hotel, a bit run down, the taps need replacing and the hotel needs better sound proofing but overall it's a nice place and in a great location.

Excellent location, close to Hide Park. Area of Paddington with trains on all sides. The reasonable price. The staff is good. Poor breakfast for the price. Very good for families.

Well, it looks poor but I breakfasted luxury. And I would walk to Hyde park which is on the side. It is not the best but to sleep a weekend.

I had been in this hotel on February 2013, the best thing is it's location near Paddington station, and the worst is waking up almost every night on the sound of ambulance siren rushing to nearby St. Mary's hospital.

Very very small rooms which are not 100% clean. Plus point is the central location of to the paddington train station and subway station. Central london can also walk to be achieved.

For a short break to 2 or alone, for a few days, maximum one week empfele the hotel immediately, the geat location to the lancaster or paddington is I praktish and quickly. Equal welfare of on the street, many other 3 star hotels and larger rooms there. 5 and 10min from the royal eagle direction there ajch 2 hilton paddington.

1. The rooms are always cleaned and surrounded, ales very clean
2. The rooms are very modern and very stylish
3. Dagefen loby and the bar is dustikal, but luxurious chandelier ender.
4. Tea and coffee BREW kan Siham rooms. (only hanenwasser available.

We where staying at the hotel in may 2011. we came in about 12 am on wednesday the 3 of may. The room was okay, and it was good to sleep in, it was not a room where you should stay a hole day in. But it is okay to the price.

Upon entering the hotel you are greeted to a very pleasant — yet highly deceitful — reception. After being given your keys by the staff, you're on your way into a very, very tight elevator. As we reached our rooms, through winding and extremely narrow corridors; we opened the door and were shocked to find our room was extremely small. The bed took up about two-thirds of the room and moving was very awkward. On further inspection; the blanket was dirty, the walls were scratched and messy, the television barely turned on let alone got any form of channel reception. Opening the curtains — well let's just say closing the curtains provided a much better view. As for the bathroom, a small standing shower, a very small toilet and a few soiled towels, to which I wish I was joking about. We decided to give it a night as it was a cheap hotel and perhaps to my naiveness, I thought this was standard for budget hotels in London. The night was terrible. Every hour you'd hear doors slamming, people laughing outside through the paper thin doors with no form of noise isolation at all. In the morning, my Fiancée and I awoke — — grumpy with barely a few hours of sleep. I was furious and decided to go downstairs to the reception and complain. I approached one of three people at reception and quite angrily said that "I'd like to make a complaint about my room". I was told to "wait please", which is possibly the worst thing you should say to a complaining visitor.

No bar for residents after 11. Poor.
