ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! We checked in yesterday quite late — we asked for an early check in since we got into London so early and it was denied. We were told that the people in the room we were staying were “late” getting out. We arrived in our room quite tired and went promptly to sleep… today we spent the entire day out. Much to my chagrin I just got into our room and although the bed was made — the sheets were not changed AND WE FOUND A BAG OD DIRTY LAUNDRY IN ONE OF THE DRAWERS WE WERE JUST ABOUT TO USE! That is not only HIGHLY U SANITARY IT IS GROSS AND CONFIRMS MY SUSPICION MY ROOM WAS NWVER PROPERLY CLEANED! And this is supposed to be a 5 star hotel? On what planet? The windows are dirty our sink is dirty and it is quite dodgy! In addition at check in the all female staff “none of whom” spoke English very well we’re not friendly and QUITE RUDE! I asked them for directions to a very well known London attraction and she HAD NO IDEA where it was not tried to help me! Absolutely horrible service! Awful! And to find dirty laundry in one’s room is just the tip of the iceberg! The front desk attendant came to the room when I called to remove the disgusting bag and all he could come up with was free breakfast. Frankly I don’t want to eat in an establishment that does not clean their rooms! I keep thinking what if there was hole in the plastic bag the dirty laundry was in? Absolutely disgusting! I have pictures should you want them! I will be calling American Express!
