Very kind personnal. Breakfast is simple but excellent. Our room was a bit small and customers were noisy. However our stay was nice.

I was just browsing and wanted to see what this place looked like as I have some family staying over in the New Year for a few days. I was pleasantly surprised when a gentleman at reception greeted me and made me feel very welcome. Needless to say that I will be making a future booking here. Clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. I don't rate the breakfast that much.

Perfect place to stay while studying, researching and touring. Pleasant entry, friendly and welcoming hosts, clean rooms, comfortable beds, air conditioning worked well, which was very much appreciated on the very warm days. Very quiet safe area and surprisingly not far from lots of shopping. Used the double decker bus for returns to hotel and underground at Baker to head out. Loved my room on the top floor. Will stay here again. :)

I actually loved this hotel. Location was central and walking distance to several tube stations. My room was small and you can hear your neighbors nearby but had everything we needed including a French press for coffee and was kept very clean. Staff was friendly. I recommend it!

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Fantastic value for money, lovely spotlessly clean spacious rooms, brilliant location, yummy breakfast. To top it off the staff could not be any more friendly and helpful. This really is the best hotel I have stayed in in London, 100% will be back! Thank you to all staff for a very enjoyable stay, wish I wasn't leaving tomorrow.

Exceeded our expectations. Nothing was too much trouble. Easy walk to Baker Street tube. Swanky room with three floor to ceiling windows and Juliet balcony was romantic and light and airy. Bath plenty big enough for two. Underfloor heating and Molton brown products. We will be back. An absolute gem of a hotel that feels like home.

What a wonderful hotel! My boyfriend and I stayed for only two nights, but we felt so welcomed by the staff and so charmed by the hotel. The service was great and friendly, and the room was spacious, well set-up and clean. The hotel is in a great location and within walking distance to many fun spots, which was key for such a quick trip. And such affordable rates! Will absolutely stay here again during our next visit to London.

I love this hotel, the staff here was very friendly, location Center (from everywhere). Room was small but very comfortable, renovation is very good, here is a good place to explore London and there are lots of good restaurants around, we will come.

I was lucky enough to recently stay over in London at Montagu Place which I believe has been recently refurbished. I’ve lived in and around London for quite some years, but wasn’t aware of some of the gems to be found only a stone’s throw away from Baker Street and the tourist traps you'd normally associate it with. Great shops, restaurants, gastropubs and the very weird but wonderful Windsor Castle pub in Crawford Place (seriously look it up! ). I stayed in the “Swanky Room” number 21 which was opulently decorated, great bed, huge bathroom and the TV was well installed with no pesky cables on show (I’m slightly OCD and loads of hotels fail at this — it backs up the attention to detail throughout the room and hotel). The room had numerous magazines for guests to take away (including GQ — thanks! ), fruit and I have to say some of the largest containers and greatest range of Molton Brown products I’ve ever seen at a hotel. The bath was great and there was a separate walk in shower. The staff were really exceptional with nothing being too much trouble — check-in was quick (the bar and reception are one and the same so don’t expect a huge bar) and any query was swiftly dealt with. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but has a relationship with a local Thai restaurant (Two Points). Rather than eat in I decided to head out to Two Points after visiting the Windsor Castle for a pint or two.

We were looking for a hotel convenient to Baker Street and the nearby attractions. Montagu Place was that and so much more. The rooms were lovely, luxuriously appointed, spotlessly clean, and stocked with lovely amenities. But what stood out even more was the warmth and kindness and helpfulness of the staff. I especially want to give a shout out to Guilia, who offered and brought me a pot of coffee as I was reading the morning paper in the lobby, and helped carry our bags out to the cab when we left, all unsolicited and above and beyond the call of duty. Her kindness is what I will remember most about our stay — and we look forward to our next visit eagerly.

Fantastic location friendly staff the best central location.

Stayed December 2009, travelled as a couple This hotel is quite a find, not too far from Baker Street tube station, walking distance from Oxford Street. Friendly staff and cozy little rooms! Be warned, there's no elevator and the stairs are quite pokey, but that doesn't bother me at all.

Nice bed and bathroom. Friendly staff. I'd have liked to have seen more mod-cons eg a TV that works, selection of music etc. Also, came to this hotel based on a previous visit few years ago and they had an amazing food. I like dit a lot.

As business or leisure this place is absolutely great! I travel every week either on business or leisure staying at several hotels every time and all I can say about this place is that I highly recommend it.

Amazing Boutique Hotel in London. If you can go for a ''Swanky''. Some of the best service that I have ever come across. P. S. My wife loved Molton Brown and I loved my free copy of the Economist.
