Despite the CORONA pandemic and quarantine orders, the hotel management has not responded for weeks to reclaim the amount of our booking. It is a bloody mess to collect the money without providing any service during this particular time. There are people who had to work hard for this money and it is not just 100 but 1000 Swiss francs. This is criminal and does not reflect well on this company.

I stayed here with my family for 4 nights in London and we found location very convenient. It was easy to reach from the airport, and to the main touristic places.
The concierge was very helpful and show us some hidden London nice restaurants.
The hotel are clean, and I highly recommend this hotel. I will be back to this hotel in the future.

Disgraceful policy not to refund bookings cancelled because of covid. I gave them 5months notice and they have refused to give me back my full payment. As far as I am concerned they are thiefs.

Really lovely hotel in a good location. Can get to main attractions by metro or bus in 10 minutes or so. The staff is super helpful and attentive. Highly recommend it!

Hotel was beyond unhelpful. I would not be able to get back home due to the travel ban and they would still not allow me to be refunded or reschedule. Management is making very poor decisions in such a crucial timeframe, especially when they should be taking care of their guests and building relationships. Will never go back and personally asking Rick Steves that they be removed from his book as a recommendation.

Due to the coronavirus outbreak — plans got cancelled and travel is not advised so wanted to cancel however the unhelpful management do not let customers take credit or give refunds at this unstable time. Every other hotel known has changed their policies and is allowing refunds and credit. Do not book this hotel if you want flexibility and helpfulness.

I stayed there for nine months in 1986/87. Great place. Great location.

Staff friendly, rooms a little small but comfortable, the price good, the location of the hotel is excellent because it is near to the station. Congratulations :D.

We stayed for 9 days and every person that worked there was incredibly helpful, polite and tolerant. I had questions a couple times a day and they still greeted me with a smile. We will stay there again and I do love the neighborhood. Thanks again.

Very small room. Tiny bathroom. We stayed on the 4th floor at the back of the hotel, and when we looked out of the window we looked on a construction site. (They are reconstructing Whiteley’s) We stayed here for 2 nights, 1 night was in the weekend. Tegen next morning at 08.00 the renovationworks started right under our bedroom-window. We were already awake because we had to leave early, but we couldn’t even talk to each other because of the noise. We had a look in the website of the hotel, but couldn’t find anything about the posibility of having inconvenience because of the reconstructionworks. Also the girl on the reception didn’t mention it at the check-in. The location of the hotel is perfect, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast is ok.

This hotel is a great location. My wife and I stayed here for four nights. So close to the tube, metro and bus stop. Brought ourselves an Oyster travel card and we were set. Every type of food place within five minutes walking of this place, I mean every type! The hotel itself has small rooms, but for us as a couple were fine. The bathroom too is very small, but functional and very clean and tidy. Bed is a double, not a queen… We would stay here again, good value and so close to everything at really good value, especially for London! Reception and service by staff was great!

They "totally understand our situation but we booked a non-flexible fare". There's nothing they can do. They could have played the hero in the story and we would have been happy customers spending our money on drinks in the hotel bar every night. Our stay is in November (the booking was in June), so they could have easily sold the room again. But no, they're too greedy for that. Don't book here.

Very nice hotel that is chic and up-to-date. My only complaints: there are not enough places to store clothing, there is no counter in the bathroom, and the television is tiny. I like the room layout for 3 persons, the rooms are clean and nicely appointed, and it is near 2 tube stations, tons of restaurants and Kensington Palace.

Great Place to stay! Our room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. The room was a little small compared to what we normally get, but we don't travel to stay in our room very much at all. We spend as much time as possible walking everywhere to meet people and try local favorites. London is a great city with an amazing history, and the people were extremely nice. Hotel is in a quiet neighborhood.

Good crash pad, staff lovely and extremely helpful. Bed was small double (what hotel still has those? ) and like concrete. Not a great sleep for two people. Also, does not cater for gluten free customers at breakfast.

Good value for money. We just needed a place to sleep at night and close to tube and so this was a great location. Lots of restaurants, cafes, fast food joints, and basic grocery stores nearby. It's close to 2 train stations — Queensway and Bayswater The staff are friendly and helpful. They greet you every time they see you which is nice.

The hotel is not bad but the room looks really bigger in the picture. The TV is small but it's fine. The shower room is very good. The hotel is clean and attentive because in the price the breakfast is not included (€7).

We ended up in a tiny little room with hardly any space. That being said, the staff was very nice and the bed quite comfortable. I'm sure there are other rooms that are bigger. If not for the inexplicably tiny room, I'd rate it 4 stars. Fun note: our TV was a tiny wall-mounted flat screen right out of "The Office". If you aren't familiar, look up "Michael Scott TV" on YouTube.

They weren't willing to give us a double room when I thought that is what we booked, but it was clean and comfortable.

I stayed here from 3/1 — 3/11, almost half month, I feel just like home here, staff is kind, location is awesome, walk to circle line station not even five minutes, and Queensway station only five minutes to go, there’s so much restaurants that you can choose, honestly, pay this price I really satisfy with it, I getting missing London and this hotel so much.

Good location, nice hotel, it is the second time we sleep here and it confirms to be a positive choice also for the value for money… Breakfast can be improved, but compared to other hotels it costs the right.

I have stayed here in several occasions and like it very much. Easy to walk to some major attractions. Several tube stops really close by. Safe with quitevva choice for eating out.

The Garden Room is clean, the room is small but there is enough. The floors of the old will inevitably have sound acceptable, but unfortunately the door is very poor sound insulation and the door to see the corridor, about seven in the morning will be walking around the crowd wake up. The hotel is well positioned and many restaurants are available, and it feels safe to return to it at night.

Wonderful hotel, not far from the centre and yet so great for sleeping. Didn't need your eye patch and the ear plugs. Breakfast is a good base for the day.

Excellent value for money Located in a very nice area, full of shops and a few steps from Notting Hill. It has enough services and a very good price, the rooms are small but comfortable and just a few steps from the subway. There I learned that power converter use, the first time I was wrong and threw the pill, I had to go down to the counter to tell them. Hahaha by the way, I was surprised by the number of languages spoken at reception, including the Spanish of course. The area is very quiet, we walked at night there and everything super good. A few steps away is a pharmacy where they sell drinks and consumables at a very good price and around the corner a bakery that sells baguettes, the best in London!

Base on location this hotel is central, the tube is down the street and just a few blocks from the Portobello market. Be aware of the size of the rooms which are not as large as hotel in the US. The reason I gave this hotel a 5 star is, in every room you get a cell phone, that allows you to navigate your way around the city. You can download whatapp that allows you to still stay in contact with whomever. You will enter the day you check-in and out and on the day you check out it wipe the phone clean. For a tourist this made my vacation adventurous, ability to go anywhere.

Good hotel, reasonably priced, very efficient friendly & professional staff. Good location near to tube stations, only downside was a super small room, only stayed one night so ok but could have been an issue for longer stay.

Accommodations are quaint but pleasant. The staff is courteous and professional. Nearby time locations and close proximity to Hide Park and definitely pluses. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. I brought 16 students here on a school trip from the states and all of them were very complimentary of the hotel, staff, breakfast, rooms, location, etc.

It is a nice hotel located in a great area with very good atmosphere, the room I was in was small but well conditioned, only say like it happens in many hotels in London that on the subject of cleanliness, total suspense!

Nice hotel which is clean, very comfortable. It's good. Close to Bayswater station subway and restaurants. For people who want to discover culinary and inexpensive flavors. I was able to go there and I was able to visit casiment all over London. I really like this type of building white and black I think it's chic.

Very small rooms. The staff are friendly and do try but there are a few issues with this hotel. Our first room the sink didn't drain properly which meant you had to wait for it to drain while brushing your teeth or washing up. Rooms are VERY small. The showers have limited water flow and were not hot (more slightly warm). I showered once here and never again. It was too cold. Waited for out hotel in Paris which had hot water with ample flow! Kept bumping into things (bed, doors, shelves). You cannot call out from the phones in the rooms. Have to go down to the lobby to book a restaurant or a theatre ticket which is inconvenient. They also only allow you to leave one suitcase in their storage room if you are traveling to another country for a few days. Anything more than 1 suitcase and you have to pay 10pounds per item. We had serious issues with the cab driver that they hire. They will not call black top cabs and their recommended cab driver (minicab) tried to charge us more than the quoted amount. When we reported this the staff they seemed to not care. Makes you wonder if there's a deal going on between the hotel and the cab company. I would advise that you simply walk down the street and hail a black cab which has set rates and they are generally fair and honest. The hotel is satisfactory if you want a place to sleep that is quite but quite small and the breakfast in the morning is good. I would say average.

Good sized triple room consisting of 1 double bed and 1 single. Bathroom quite small but sufficient. TV also very small but fine. We did not have breakfast, which was available for an extra fee.

I chose this hotel because of the high reviews on Google, but I don't understand why the reviews are so good. The building is nice looking and clean, but that's about all the good things. Our room was right by the elevator, which woke us up multiple times each night. In addition, the window was broken and wouldn't close all the way, which let in cold air, a lot of noise from the street, and cigarette smoke from people smoking outside. While the pillows were nice, the mattress was very uncomfortable and I woke up sore every morning. I would definitely not stay at this hotel again.

Located in the Westminster neighborhood, near Nothing Hill, a lovely area to walk away from the noise of London. Very indigenous streets, good connection with line circulates and Central line. Number of intercultural restaurants as well as typical English breweries.

The location is fairly quiet. The Room is clean. The personnel was friendly. The breakfast could have a bit more variety, though. But it was fully optional. Would come again.

DO NOT STAY HERE! ZERO COMPASSION! My family and I were scheduled to fly into London this weekend from Miami, FL, for our very first time to celebrate my little sister's birthday. We were so excited for our trip and then Catagory 5 hurricane Irma headed for Miami. The airline cancelled our flights and we were forced to cancel our trip. The airline, and tours have graciously refunded our money in light of this catastrophic event that is out of our hands but this hotel refused to give a refund. Not even a credit towards future stay. Its very sad that we have to worry about these things while preparing for a major hurricane and the devastation that's to come our way.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. The location is good with two underground stations close by, and Hyde Park 5 minutes away. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The rooms are nice and clean. I've tried family, double and twin rooms. All good, no matter if it is lower ground or with a garden view.
Equiped with: safe, hairdryer, big towels, duvet (NOT a blanket), extra pillows, coffee/tea facilities, fridge, cubbard with hangers, big mirror and so on.
Only thing I have ever needed, is somewhere to hang my jacket in the room. No room in the cubbard when you put your clothes there, and you don't want to hang a wet jacket there when raining. And a bin with a lit in the bathroom.
Breakfast is optional, wich suits me well because I usually have breakfast in the city. Staff are polite, helpful and always smiling. Luggage room available. Staff always goes with you and checks the numbers match, wich makes you feel good about leaving the bags there. If the room is available on arrival you can have it without an extra fee. I always check the prices on this hotel before I go to London (2-4 times a year). Sometimes I find it too pricey and live elsewhere, but I always return to this hotel on some of my trips. Loyalty points would be great :)

Stayed 8 days. July 2017. Location 4.5/5 — Hyde Park, supermarkets are close by, many coffee shops, two different tube lines. Rooms 2/5 — very tiny, bathroom is so small and the sink is so tiny and the shelf prevents you from being able to wash your face. But there is a safe and fridge. Reception 3/5 — sometimes they were plain mean and at times slow. Somethimes OK. We requested separate beds but they did not help. Elevator 2/5 — slow and will slam your shoulder if you stall. Cleanliness — 4/5

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. Com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around… Modern hotel, very clean but a bit frayed around the edges. Needs some attention to detail. Unable to fill the kettle, because it didn't fit under the tap. And lead not long enough to plug in. Helpful staff, no waiting checking in or out. Very handy for Queensway and Whiteley's. Quiet street, and peaceful rooms, but noise from corridor is loud, because of size of room.

The hotel is in an interesting location, just a stone's throw from the Circle Line. The interiors are brand new, it's all very clean and tidy: a really nice stay!

As a place to just sleep whilst visiting London, it's fine. Good location, cheap… You won't be writing home about it, but it'll do.

Super hotel for a city trip. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Unfortunately, I must confess a star deduction for the size of the toilets. I was too big for my 1.87.

Hotel is lovely. Beds are a little small. Staff is very nice and helpful. You can buy tickets for bus tours and other things from the desk. Close to many restaurants, stores and even a mall with a bowling alley. You can also get breakfast in the mornings for 7 pounds a person.

Hotel is well located, close to two subway lines (Central and regional), is very convenient for visiting other parts of London. From the hotel on foot to Notting Hill, very comfortable. Staff were very good, not particularly friendly but were very helpful when there is a demand.

Great price, clean and modern hotel. Room I had was a little small but for sleeping do you need bigger? Modern hot shower with toiletries provided. Recommended.

Stayed from May 17 through May 21st. London House hotel was the perfect place to stay while visiting London! The rooms were clean and roomy. The reception area was beautiful. Located close to the tube, shopping and restaurants, everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend London House Hotel.
