Terrible service, hotel staff tried to charge me £400+ AFTER I paid everything in advance, they couldn’t find my booking, room smelled like piss and was disgusting. My room had NO Wifi at all and neither did my phone get any service. The elevator was so outdated I had to take the steps always to the 4th floor. Bad vibe from hotel staff AND at 07:40 in the morning a hotel maid started banging on our door asking if we would want room service. No air conditioning at all and all we got was a fan in out closet which made us sick the morning we woke up before our flight. I paid about £90 total which is not much but this Hotel is worth £20 MAXIMUM. Don’t let this hotel fool you.

The service not so good as before. The staff really aren't friendly at all.

Traveling back to the UK in October this year and will be staying at the Holiday Villa Hotel for a 3rd time in since 2015.
Great location and comfortable rooms with great team members who are always ready to help you out.
See you all again in November.

The staff has been very friendly and the room, while very basic, was clean and we'll maintained. The staff was extremelly helpful with a few last minute requests we had at the end of our stay. That kind of customer service goes a long way with me. I'm very happy with my overall experience and would stay again.

As an American it's quite a shock to see such small hotel rooms. That said, a lot of the fixtures and other furniture was very old. It could definitely use some renovations. This hotel is really close to Hyde Park, so if that's something you really want to explore and you're also trying to visit London on the cheaper side I would recommend it. Unfortunately most of the places I wanted to visit were pretty far away from this hotel. I really had to rely on public transportation to get anywhere, walking distance would have cost me hours. There's not much to eat close to here also. I really disliked the breakfast even though it was included. The desk service was helpful though. As said before, unless you're really trying to save money I would choose another place.

While staff seemed nice not all rooms have air conditioning. If you book here ask if your room is one of the few that do. The rooms are also VERY small. My husband and I could barely stand in the room together at the same time. Someone would always have to sit on the bed. The continental breakfast is lacking. It consisted of warm yogurt, cereals, bread, and fruit. Even though London is known to have many vegan options the hotel does not offer any non dairy milk.

For a 3 star hotel absolutely great. Lovely staff, good air con, very clean, fresh towels. Great locale. Restaurant on sjte do lovely meals at a good price and are a good size. Once again lovely friendly staff.

The hotel is in a very good area close to Bayswaters 2 tube stations. And the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The hotel is very clean and so are the rooms. They even have their own restaurant as well. The room we had was a little small. But that’s the only complaint we had. The room was also on sweet with shower.

As ive read good and bad review of this hotel I opt to believe it is still acceptable in view of the location but end up is a horrible experience. Ive made a call to the hotel at 7pm mention I will check in late and to ensure my room will be reserve as what ive requested as per stated inside my agoda booking. When I step into the lobby, there is no Air condition, feeling stuffy while waiting for check in. There is only one reception counter while few customer are waiting. … When I finally able to check in the room only notice ive given a standard double room without air cond. Reception staff, Mr frank confided that standard double room inside their website has been published the ads confirm without aircond. At the same time informed us we have to top up 60 pound in order to get the air conditional room. After checking my agoda booking details i've double confirm my standard room is come with aircon and further showing such details to the reception, he keep telling me same story his company publish website is confirm no aircon. Worst still the operation Manager Mr Prince Raja Noticed my issue and not come up to assist but left me to the staff to handle. If there is technical problem with agoda pls settle with such platform pic but not ask cus to top up. End up I have to called agoda to assist me to settle the issue and enable to get back the room with air cond. We have checked in a family suite instead but not standard double room with aircond which ive initially booked.

Good hotel, very clean. Well placed, near Hyde Park. The rooms are cozy, small but very nice. Nothing to complain about the restaurant, the quality was there. For breakfast, buffet, it was just lacking in my taste of hot chocolate in self service. Bilingual staff for certain.
In summary very good hotel to come visit London a few days.

Great location in the beautiful Paddington District, a 5-minute walk from Queensway Metro station. Small room and a little dirty.

I really enjoyed staying here in the summer of 2017. I found that the rooms were clean and kept well. I liked the antiqueness of the hotel and I think that the price matched what I got. Although the staff was nice, I personally think they could improve the breakfast. Overall, I definitely would come here again, especially since it was so close to everything in London.

Food for breakfast, lunch & dinner is fantastic. Various options for Asian food lovers ranges from Roti Chanai to Asam Pedas Ikan. If you missed Spore or Malaysian Food, this is the place to eat.

The whole was OK, just the bathroom a little too small. :-) breakfast at will in self service:-)

Great hotel in a prime location, Foyer and reception are slightly dated but this gives the building a little character in itself. Rooms are adequate with a modern bathroom and shower. Only 10 minute walk from Paddington railway station and shops. Definitely recommend staying here on a visit to London.

Very good hotel, everything according to what is promoted.
The rooms are good size and the bathrooms are spacious with a bathtub. Also in the room there is an electric jug and coffee, tea and milk envelopes so that one can be done at any time.
The breakfast that was included in our case was self-service and one could be served as many times as I would like. There was tea, milk, various types of coffee, water and orange set to drink. Then they had yogurt, several cereals, cold cuts, cheese, bread that could be put in the toaster, croissants and other snacks and fruit.
There is something far from the center, but it is according to its price. In addition, by taking a bus or metro you will arrive at once.

Good value for money and good transport to all London.

Everything was spotless for us: Very friendly home, comfortable room, clean and functional, copious breakfast, all very satisfying services.

Great hotel, great staff, nice rooms. Stayed here three nights, and the only real complaint is that the heater in the room didn’t work too well, it was a bit dusty too. The hotel is two blocks from a street filled with touristy shops and restaurants, and a bus stop is just down the street. There is also a restaurant within the hotel that is a great choice as well. Overall, a great choice at a great price.

Clean room, decent breakfast.

Fantastic restaurant, the staff were absolutely wonderful. Can't overstate just how friendly and attentive they were without being smothering. Wonderful!

Good location as it is within walking distance to Bayswater shops. The hotel room itself is clean and comfortable. However there should be improvements with regards to hot water in the shower which is too slow and the floor creeks too much.

Some parts of the floor are noisy. I can also hear noise from other people over the walls. But overall, my experience was good.

Hotel clean but with problems for hot water and small rooms. The heating is not self-adjustable. Not a good breakfast. Some of the other kind staff didn't. Good location.

Last minute Booking: 349. — Books for a 3-bed room, tiny, old, breakfast is practically non-existent, staff not smiling. We were just a cash pump. I won't recommend it to anyone.

Very friendly and helpful room very clean and large massage in the basement only very recommended only a few minutes walk to the Stop Queensway.

Staff: As soon as we arrived, home ultra cold, rude and dismissive staff, who laughed at us when they had the opportunity (eg because my mother speaks little English) My God I have never seen this, how can one be so unpleasant and Working in a hotel?! From the first to the last day it was like this.
Room: There are rooms larger than others of the tiny and middle ones our was average, but to sleep that's enough. Otherwise it's all very old, the ground cracks as soon as you step, the carpet would really need to be changed. The bathroom was nice but for the flush it had to pull it a good ten times to make it work, it was nice.
When I was in bed, I felt like I was sleeping on the floor. And the insulation? = Non-existent.
Breakfast: Imworld, there are dry and old "croissants" that must be in sachet, better bread, cereals, canned fruit salad, frozen, cheese a kind, orange juice and another juice called tropical, which have a mixture of water and chemical tastes. If you want a chocolate or whatever is not in the buffet it is to pay in addition.
District: Well located, 10 min from Bayswater Metro station and a small street with shopping.
In short: Do not go, and honestly I was really shocked by the attitude of the staff towards the customers, really.

Very good location Breakfast of the hotel included, acceptable, although the coffee and the juice, is more water than anything else. Attention of the waitresses, in the morning, quite disappointing, even unpleasant, and the room, the best the bed, (no small fridge). If you are a bit fussy, better find another hotel, they are kicked and very close to each other. The floor creaks a lot, and it's annoying, especially when you're still sleeping. Better to look at another hotel, I'm sure I wouldn't repeat the same. The worst of all, that nothing else arrived, they did not give us a simple map of the city, and not bothered too much to attend, plus we take the surprise of being more expensive than we booked, having raised the price of the pound, automatically, raised the bill about 30 euros more.

Reserved two nights. When I arrived on my first day I was told that both my nights were sperate bookings and I would have to check out and back into the same room in the morning. The next morning I went down to check into my room again and they said they had to switch rooms. So I had to collect all of my stuff and move it to another room. The new room smelled of piss and the shower had no hot water. Not impressed. The first room was fine. Just alot of noise from the people on the streets. Not much the hotel could do about that. Second room was terrible.

Good price, great location close to most of attractions. It has handy device to help the visitor using internet and calls out. The bad things: Old furniture, it really needs renovations and needs services.

Hotel is fairly dated and a little refurb would be good. Location is great in Bayswater.

Location is fine. Nice and central. Room is a lot smaller than advertised online. Additionally, the shower drain is rusted and there are spots in te bath which just wont come out.

The hotel is in a great spot close to tube stations and just west of London city centre. The staff was very friendly, the price was great, and the rooms were clean, if a little outdated. The room also included a smartphone that had calling and internet, and you could take it on your day trips. Very useful! The only issue I had with the place was the lack of any kind of centralized air. Our room was blazing hot each day, and we had to use the fans to try and cool it off.

Budget Hotel would be heaven compared to this place. Short stay after some travels elsewhere. The bed was the least comfortable thing we have ever slept on. Shower / bath combo lead to 1/2 the bathroom floor being soaked. Housekeeping didn't do the normal "spruce" of the room. Buffet breakfast — BE WARY! This was just a plethora of bread with some cheese slices! If you want additional breakfast items, you need to pay for them. Why offer buffet breakfast if that's going to be the case!? Highly recommend any of the countless hotels nearby.

Hotel worthy of a nightmare Hotel episode.

Disgustingly terrible Hotel.
We complained about the first room (316) because of mould and damp on the walls/in the wardrobe. The manager didn't believe us and insisted on accompanying me back to the room to take a look. Her face was priceless, award winning shocked face that she's probably been working on for a longtime.
Moved us to room 419 which was bigger but not much better, the floor hadn't been vacuumed in a while, the toilet struggled to flush, no hot water to shower in, the mattress was hard like the marble counter in reception, it also has metal sticking out of it and the sheets hadn't been changed for a while.
The continental breakfast consisted of stale pastries, watered down orange juice and other items we couldn't bare to eat.
As we left we didn't even get asked if we had a pleasant stay. The staff are very reluctant to assist.
The floors of the hotel smell like stale cigarette smoke.
While waiting for the manager seven other people complained.

We were only there for one day/night. In that time we experience a extremely good service from all the staff.
The room was more than adequate for our needs and the continental breakfast was of a buffet style so plenty to eat.
Extremely close to all major attractions and transport facilities.
All in all good value for the money.

No air-conditioning. Great location, but seriously no air-conditioning. Who has no air-conditioning? Passable included breakfast, but no air-conditioning. Yes the small windows do open but there is no air-conditioning.

Beautiful hotel, with an antique decor, but with excellent services, good breakfast. Very nice and trying to help you at all times. The location is good because it is inside a very good neighborhood, however you will be away from the most famous tourist sites. I recommend it infinitely!

I found its location set very central and booked directly through the reception. That way I was offered a nice rate I found, comparing to other central hotels. All highlights are easy to reach from there! In London you have sooo many choices, where to stay, but my way will lead back to the Holiday Villa Hotel. It has a chic character and a story to tell — I'd give it a try being you and don’t forget to ask for a subscription to one of the Holiday Villa Gold Memberships — that again gives you certain benefits, when coming back or staying elsewhere.

Room small, but clean, friendly staff, especially the waitress in the bar which very nicely tried to do an Italian coffee (with poor results unfortunately), easy access to metro, but a string of expensive if you decide to use the attached restaurant.

By far, The worst room i've ever been, staff not Bad but unable to balance the horrible experience of one room expected to be a beautiful place to discover for a Just married couple. Humidity is not a fair description for the room. Small, Very small bathroom but the worst was the advertising of this motel, totally false. The pictures must be from another place. If I Knew, I would have never book the room Very near of everything, by the way. London, amazing place. But this hotel was terrible.

Location of the hotel makes it accessible to central London. The food is good as well and halal.

Ok for first time in London, room was cramped, complimentary breakfast ok, but watch the elevator when going to the ground floor the door does not always open, had to go back to the first floor to get out on our first morning.

This is not a hotel I will return to. Forgot my jacket and the cleaning personal would not help returning it to me. I would say below medium service.

Pay Wi-Fi. Small rooms (yet okay), a TV, a kettle, small bathroom + shower (1qm shower, ouch), continental breakfast (cereals and baguette) but rather thin walls. A bit moust at the ceiling, but the building is very old, I didn't expect otherwise, and it's not at if it is harmful or gross in any way. Low standards, but acceptable because of the location, it is just a short walk to Paddington station. Would recommend, as long as you are not too picky.

Hard bed. Small bathroom. Free shower gel/shampoo, clean sheets and towels daily. Free continental breakfast (baguette and cereal) kettle in room. A bit steep in price but a good location.

Not only does this particular venue feature extremely questionable cleaning practices (three days, only one visit by cleaners? ) — but the owners engage in that particularly nasty practice of 'calling a cab' for those leaving, get you a private car and then charge the private car a 'fee' for doing so. THEN the car charges you that extra. The smooth-talking male staff member behind the desk who ran this little operation and his 'cohort' should be ashamed of themselves. For a tiny room, questionable running and then to top it off by scamming visitors, I'd strongly suggest ANY of the five hotels next door or others in the vicinity instead.
