Nice room very reasonable ideal location.

Friwnsly warm polite greeting. Easy check in. Spacious twin room. Comfy beds. Great Continental breakfast. Helpful staff when needing extra bits for your room. 5min walk to tube station and local shops & restaurants. Downside — Lift not working when we went, bit of trudge up to 3rd floor room. Stairs are uneven but it's an old building. No Air con altho a large fan helped with heat but noisy. Carpets could do with a thorough clean in room, hallway and stairs (some questionable stains) Not the cheapest but for SW London wouldn't expect it to be. Enjoyable stay tho, may stay again sometime.

Very good location, pub, bars, supermarket, buses, very helpful staff, good value for money, bit noisy neighborhood, but all in all good.

Myself and my husband stayed here for a night whilst visiting London a couple of weeks ago.
We were very impressed with the lady at the check in desk, Maria, and from the start she made us feel welcomed and comfortable.
We were happy to be informed of the free WI-FI included in our stay, as well as breakfast the next morning.
The room itself was very clean, complete with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The bathroom was also very clean and was stocked with some complimentary toiletries and towels.
We loved the balcony with a view down Belgrave road that we had with our room, and it allowed air to flow nicely considering we happened upon the hottest weekend this year to stay.
The breakfast the next morning was a help yourself service, with full English, continental, tea, coffee, etc choices, and all the food was lovely.
We’d definitely stay here again if we happen upon needing another stay in London.

Lovely clean hotel, me and my 7 year old son stayed for 1 night for his birthday treat to london. Breakfast was nice, clean hotel, staff on front desk was polite when checking in gave us a map circled all points of interest, when using booking. Com I booked a balcony room which we didn't have. We had slight issue with noise from the road and people in the room above us early morning but we would still stay again and recommend the hotel for good location 20 minute walk to big Ben.

Comfortable, quiet place in the heart of London. Friendly and helpful staff, particularly Josh the concierge. Breakfast included. Walking distance to all that London has to offer.

Friendly staff, clean, spacious, and comfortable rooms, relativity central yet quiet location. Not much to complain about, a hair-dryer would have been nice though.

This hotel is located in a great neighborhood in a diverse part of town. Unfortunately, the HI does not live up to the reputation it is trying to rebuild around the world. In the last six years, I’ve stayed at some incredible, renovated Holiday Inns in cities like Sydney and places like Mauritius. However, buyers beware! This Holiday falsely advertises that it has air condition. It does not. The staff was lovely and they have a nice little breakfast every morning. But having no AC almost ruined my stay.

Priced well and not too far from the action. Walkable. Pizza place on the south corner had great food, open late.

This hotel has a good location. If it wasn't for that I would give it one star. The room is sooooo hot and you can only crack the window. Going into the bathroom is like a sauna. Our toilet barely flushes. The elevator seems like it's going to break down every time you get on it. And finally, my bed had no sheet. But it was so hot, I was fine with just laying on top of the converter. Was not expecting this from a holiday inn.

We are here for five nights during the hottest summer on record for London in like 40 years. We booked months ago and decided to go for the non refundable rate as it was cheaper at the time. I will tell you what $250/night gets you at this property. The room is tiny with two not great twin beds; kinda hammocky. There’s a little “shelf” about 6 inches wide under an enormous flat screen TV for your stuff. There is nowhere for your luggage except a tiny tabletop next to one of the beds that is about 12x15. Not big enough for even a small carry on to be opened. In order to get into your suitcase, you have to open it on a bed. There is a small five hanger rack on the wall that serves as the closet. That’s it for your wardrobe and furnishings. There is a safe, which is a plus. There is no chair, so you will sit on the bed if you need to read the paper, have a drink, etc. Our bathroom has lots of black mold on the caulking around the shower. And the toilet has pink spray foam around where it connects to the wall, like insulation? Our bathroom was never cleaned — the same hair was on the back of the sink the whole time — we purposely watched it. For $250/night, I expect the room to be fresh each day. It was not. There is no AC. There is a wall fan and they will give you another if you ask — but we had a hard time putting it anywhere without always tripping over it.

Location is very good. However rooms are very cramped. Breakfast is same every day. I found fungus on the bread slices. Muffins were removed from breakfast menu. Poor management in the pantry.

Decent hotel, given the location and building — it’s very tight, cramped. If that doesn’t bother you then this is a good place. But if you want something bigger, go for Holiday Inn in Bloomsbury.

No stars if I could. No ac. Miserably hot in room. They gave us a fan. It just circulated hot air. This is a historical site so I do understand but there's got to be technology these days to allow air conditioner units that aren't visible from the outside. I will never stay there again.

Good location On the other hand, it is impossible to sleep the window open. If you like bedding with springs, this is for you! Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Breakfast Currently under construction but no nuisance. A good cleaning of the windows would be very appreciated. Very good location close to the bus stop and Metro.

We were very good, the hotel was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very well located near the Victoria station and therefore very convenient to go to Gatwick Airport.

The location is great, the room was small but adequate, good enough for overnight stay, Staff were attentive and friendly.

What you pay for you receive, good location, clean, comfortable room at a fair price.

Very basic, they don't even have a restaurant or any gym facilities etc. The rooms are the same, basic and functional. The staff more than make up for it though. They are very friendly and helpful.

As you would expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Room was small but that is to be expected in London. Bathroom, however, was very spacious. Lift was very slow bit that was the only real downside. The breakfast was acceptable — nothing fancy.

We were in one of the newly refurbished room which will be rolled out throughout the hotel. One of my biggest pet peeves with hotels, especially smaller hotels like this one, is that there are never enough plug sockets. This one had them in spades including USB chargers. The room was clean and modern, if a little small, but great for our overnighter. The while place with the included breakfast felt like a BnB with great friendly staff and an unbeatable location!

The staff and manager were very helpful and welcoming. Room however was basic and a bit noisy, breakfast just ok. At £99 it was not as good but more expensive than a travelodge.

Everything as expected. Facilities excellent, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Good manners and a smile cost nothing but mean a lot.

A chain hotel experience where the price is very much determined by its excellent location. Comfortable rooms. Relatively quiet.

It was a very nice Hotel and the staff were very helpful.

The best thing about the hotel is the bed. Everything else is quite mediocre: the facilities are old and somewhat shabby, the breakfast is very justito and the service, right without more.
For the runners, there is something far from Hyde Park (2 kms) and it is almost better to go down the river.
On my next trip to London, I'll try another hotel, sure.

Hotel meeting the expectations of a short stay. Clean, located 400m from Victoria station and offering a very full breakfast. The staff are very helpful.

Ideal for an overnight stay while doing tourist stuff. Quiet, pleasant area of Pimlico and close to the Pimlico underground station which is only one stop on the Victoria line from Victoria. I had a lower ground floor room 106 which was spacious, quiet and the bed very comfortable. Small, but spotlessly clean breakfast room so a bit if a squeeze when busy and although a minimal selection of food, it was nice and hot. 3 choices of cereal; granola, cornflakes and muesli. Milk in a fridge, sausages, baked beans, scrambled eggs. Oranges, apples and bananas. Chocolate muffins. Staff attentive. Def a good choice for basic accommodation.

WONDERFUL experience here! The staff is so kind and accommodating. Exceptional actually. We were very comfortable during our stay, and would definitely stay again!

It's a holiday Inn express but it's not a very well prepared holiday Inn express, it lacks power plugs for all adaptors within its rooms. UK power only, it was the only hotel I stayed at that did not have at the very least a USB outlet or an EU outlet. The room was small and the hotel is a minor walk from Victoria station, it's actually closer to pilmco station than Victoria, which was mildly frustrating. Overall, price is everything and if you can get a good value on this hotel then it's worth it but I would try to stay at a different hotel if possible.

Centrally located and good service by the staff. The rooms are just about OK. I guess space comes at a premium in London… So if you don't mind smaller rooms for a moderate budget, this place is good for a stay.

Really nice room even tho we was downstairs very quite. Our beds was made while went for our breakfast. Food was good and staff very helpful.

Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. The double beds are not a European double so couples used to big beds should probably choose a twin room for more comfort. We were lucky and had both a single and double bed in our room.

Good central location. Not overly expensive, okay for a weekend. Breakfast is a little basic but edible.

We were given room 115 which is behind reception. We could clearly hear other people talking through the walls which was slightly annoying but not horrendous. Rooms are dated and in need of a refresh. Staff very pleasant and accomodating.

Staff was friendly and helpful, but the room was hot and you had to leave the windows open, which meant we heard people and cars all night and workers stomping up and down the steps all morning. Bathroom needed some repairs and the shower had some kind of pipe draining into it from through the wall. Nice area, close to metro. Expected nicer for what we paid.

Close to Metro and Victoria station. Convenient for those who land at Gatwick. In a quiet area, breakfast with a well assorted buffet.

Yes they have fire doors… you enter with keys formed by digital keys… CIO card… comfy beds with short blankets and comfortable bathroom.

Would recommend this hotel, clean, ample breakfast, bar prices not bad, close to river 15 mins walk to victoria station and parking is free on street at weekends between Friday 6pm and Monday 7am and a very regular bus service number 24, Pimlico underground just around the corner.

Building looks huge from the outside. But it's a small hotel on the inside. Place is comfortable. Staircase is narrow, so those who are very heavy may find it difficult to go for breakfast. Breakfast is OK. It's not full English-it's a combination of English and continental. Concierge service is missing, so you need to move the bags yourself. We had 2 heavy ones, maybe that's why we were given a room on the ground floor itself, even though they had initially reserved another one on an upper floor. Plenty of Indian restaurants nearby. Bus 24 stops at 2 minutes walking distance.

We stayed here after a failed AirBNB stay let us down and were so happy that the Holiday Inn Express had available rooms. They were super friendly and accommodating. The room itself wasn't anything special but was clean and in a great location.

The location is excellent. A central base an handy for tube and rail (although closer to Pimlico than Victoria). Rooms are basic, but acceptable. Somewhat dated and could do with a spruce up, but clean. My room was a good size, although very close to the breakfast room so there was quite a bit of noise early in the morning. Not an issue on my trip, but it might disturb some, wanting a lie in on a holiday. Service was excellent and every member of staff I interacted with was polite, cheerful and helpful. Breakfast was below the standard of similar hotels I've stayed in, with a limited selection. Perfectly edible, but not exciting. Okay for an overnight business trip, but I wouldn't want to have it every morning of an overnight stay.

Small room and an ironing board only of use to a midget. But we need to talk about the breakfast — what kind of heathen offers a cooked breakfast that's only available on a plate normally used for toast, and only comprising baked beans, instant scrambled eggs, and sausages? Where was the bacon? Where was the mushrooms? Hash browns? Tomatos? Black pudding? But most importantly: WHERE WAS THE BACON? For that, and for that alone, this place gets one star.

The location was close to pimlico station (3 or 4 minutes walk) or 10 minutes from Victoria station and the theater we attended. The room was clean and tidy and breakfast was catered for well. A lovely hotel I would not hesitate in booking again.

Nice staff, clean rooms, okay breakfast. Not stellar but at this price point very good value.

Family bedroom only had 2 singles and a sofa bed which wasn't actually made up. When the children sat on the sofa bed it collapsed and we were told no other rooms were available. When I insisted we be provided a room we were sent to the best western across from this hotel. Only on check in did we find out the room that was arranged for us would only sleep 3. Eventually another room in another holiday inn express 3 miles away was found and the hotel paid for the cab Also I am a regular user of holiday inns and the usual offer of additional points or drink were not offered. Worst experience in a holiday inn I have had.

Excellent location, 200m from the station of Pimlico and a distance close to Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Rooms a bit small for our taste, very good service/price ratio.
