The building looks stunning from the outside and it is in a good location… however our bedroom was absolutely tiny with two singles squeezed in and shoved together. It was unclean — there were hairs in the bathroom and the place feels generally grubby. There is no aircon, instead two fans which are very loud. Not worth The disappointment.

The Hotel is clean and in a good locality. The staff is friendly. It also has a gym and swimming pool. Hot water is available 24x7. But Some rooms very small so I suggest to check the rooms before you check-in.

Hotel with beautiful façade but after what disappointment. Smell of rotten fish outside, unable to open windows, noisy room despite having been to the 5th and last floor for shower plan 45min per person as no flow and prepare psychologically for a shower either hot or icy, small Breakfast very limited few things offered at the buffet by cons coffee orange juice and fresh fruit very good.

Very disappointed. We sell you photos of the hotel and rooms and when you arrive (if you go over the internet and the rooms are a bit cheaper), we take you from the top. The room is so small that we walk limit on the suitcase. The air conditioning was not working, you are told that it is the same in all the rooms while you hear in the more expensive rooms that the climes work.
The room above ours was messing up, nothing was done or said.
So fortunately there is the swimming pool because 500 euros for 4 nights for this kind of room is the limit of the flight.
Fortunately we can also appreciate the easy access to the buses and Metro.
I do not recommend.

Very clean, well presented hotel room. Not the lap of luxury, but very comfortable, and had everything I needed for my stay. Including complimentary drinks and wash things. Barely a 2 minute walk from Hyde Park, and less than 5 minutes walk from a number of tube stations. The only fault is that because its an old building, the walls are fairly thin and the floors are creaky, which did unfortunately disturb my sleep. However, this wouldn't put me off booking it again, or recommending to a friend.

Fantastic Spanish speaking staff. The waitresses were super fast at breakfast and of friendly disposition. The man on reception was also very helpful. Excellent value for money and will return again.

Not conform to the site. Do. Merit No star. Room 100 Tiny. Bed too small. Out of use Clim. Window does not open. Feel sauna ds the room. No pressure in the shower. Stains on the carpet. Average Pt Dej. No unsalted butter. Traces of lipstick on the glass of the PT Dej. Bar closed. Friendliness of the limited staff.
Only positive point the situation and the neighborhood.
I do not recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a study away trip. The website made it seem enticing, but in reality, the hotel isn’t that great. The building is large, but the interior is small and dated. The rooms themselves are small with a limited number of outlets, little drawer and closet space, and very small TVs. The rooms have air conditioning units but they do not work. There is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel. The Wi-Fi is slow and difficult to use. We (10 people) consistently had problems connecting, even with the week voucher they gave us. We lost electricity in our rooms — no fan, TV, or chargers — and they said someone wouldn’t come out to fix it until the next day. The staff is extremely unhelpful and seems inconvenienced anytime you call or go to the desk. When we called to ask for maintenance in our room, we were put on hold for upwards of 40 minutes. They also don’t speak much English, so expect difficulties communicating with them. I do not recommend this hotel. There are better options elsewhere.

Nice friendly staff, clean rooms & fair prices.

Place needs an update. Decor is stuck in the 80s. Rooms are OK, service was good but food way below what is supposed to be a 4 star hotel.

A delightful stay. Can warmly recommend. Location is insanely good with bus and subway right next to it and of course hyde park. There are also multiple local food and wine stores 50 meters away. Staff was friendly. Room had everything I could ask for. Bit small though. A nice big breakfast. And we had the swimmingpool for our self for over an hour. The water is warm and the pool is fairly big. All in all a very pleasant experience.

The staff speaks Spanish, it is very attentive and you start the day without hesitation. It is in a quiet and nice neighborhood, we really liked it, we thought we would return.

Good. The bad thing was the I asked for a taxi to the station. I did it from reception for more security. Looking for a car without a meter and charged us triple the rate. He didn't abuse the whole trip. A disaster. The hotel should see who's calling. The rest very well.

Very good hotel. Excellent value for money It has a swimming pool and sauna. The single rooms are cozy and very apañaditas. The only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. Otherwise, I recommend this hotel 100%. Central and quality. The service speaks several languages.

Good value for money. What you need for the holidays.

In London standards, you don't expect that. Let's say that in Italy it would be a suburban pension. The outside palace is lovely but inside the problems are various. I don't think I will return.

A great disappointment! Hotel old and very abandoned. The chain is Spanish and there is no maintenance. The only good thing is the location the breakfast and the staff very friendly. Expensive for what it offers. It's just a 3-star.

A budget hotel around a 10 minute walk from Paddington Station and close to Hyde Park. On check in I found the reception staff's command of English wasn't 100% so it was a little difficult to make myself understood. The room itself was basic, which is fair enough with a budget hotel. However, the finish of the decor was poor. The laminate flooring was poorly fitted and the furniture looked tired. In a contrast to this the en suite bathroom was finished to a better standard. A big negative was the air conditioning. The display was flashing an error message upon my arrival. I queried it with the front desk to see if someone could take a look at it for me. I was told that the air conditioning throughout the hotel didn't work but was told where the switch was for the ceiling fan. With the high ceiling I found the effect of the fan negligible. The bed was comfortable with a nice duvet. I had a good nights sleep. The hotel has a pool but their description of it as a spa is a little much. It is a pool and a sauna. There are no locker facilities to secure your belongings. Breakfast is very good with a good selection of warm foods, pastries and cereals available at the buffet. Along with a self service hot and cold drinks. Although the decor again is a little tired in the dining area. Overall, it is a good hotel with the plus points outweighing the negatives. If you can get past the down sides it a good hotel to stay in London on a budget.

Rundown but clean. Plain, tiny rooms. Friendly service. Good location.

There is a pool and sauna (pretty cold) and a reasonably good breakfast. Easy to find, subway is not far. Hyde Park is within walking distance.

Very good hotel! I booked it over the internet and I found what I exactly saw before booking. No surprises. The rooms are comfortable but the only downside they have are the hardwood floors, which creak at every step, which can be a nuisance for the passengers on the floor below. Breakfast is excellent with a very large food offer. I emphasize above all the warmth of all the staff, very attentive to what the passenger needs, and also offers tourist advice. Oh! and speak Spanish! Since the hotel belongs to a Spanish chain, almost all the staff are of that origin. With regard to the location of the hotel, it is ideal for those who, like me, seek tranquility, as it is in a very elegant and safe neighborhood, with buses and Metro at 200/300 meters that will leave you in minutes in Oxford Street. Finally I want to mention the very nice swimming pool located in the basement, and the sauna. With total security, I would go back to this hotel on a future trip to London!

Great bed and pillows. Small room but very clean, very good international breakfast. The property's great location is a short walk from two tube lines, to reach every area of London. Hot pool and decent sauna to indulge in half an hour of relaxation. Some renovation work to do. Overall a good stay calculating that they went out at 9.30 and we'd come back after 9 p. M.

Good service, loved how clean the whole place was, swimming pool accurate, only the sauna didn't seen to work fine (almost no temperature difference from the swimming pool area) and the breakfast variety could be a bit bigger, but overall it was good. Highly recommended :)

Very good place to rest after a day of sightseeing in London. Clean, very comfortable beds. Breakfast was always the same, but correct. I deal a 10! If we go back to London, we'll be sure to repeat.

Great Hotel! Located next to Hyde Park and very close to two metro stops. Very quiet and nice area. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is great. In the room there is a tray with cups to make tea or coffee if you want. In the hotel halls there is also lemonade and apples for when you get tired to take one.
Very friendly staff and almost all of them speak Spanish.

Good value for money. Good central location. The Hotel offers good value for Money and the Swimming pool and Sauna are an extra feature well worth it. The parking around the Hotel can be difficult. Best to come at weekends when there is free parking nearby The Breakfast Menu is rather basic The Double standard room has all amenities but may appear crowded. The Bathrooms are basic but clean. The corridors and lift especially are on the narrow and small size. The Reception and Staff personell area mainly Non Native English speakers and communication can be difficult. Overall 3 out of 5 is not bad.

Great location near the tube, with which you can quickly reach all the sights of London. Breakfast is plentiful and varied, the hotel looks clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are unfortunately a bit small, but you can settle for it. All in all I would say it's a good three stars.

Very very disappointed compared to what is announced. The room is very small, the taps are full of limestone, the walls are really thin and you can hear everything from the room to the side. Breakfast is not whopping, and the room for the latter is really not warm (too many people on top of each other). In short we wonder how this hotel little have 4 stars, I experienced much better quality in 3 stars in France. I advise against this place only positive point, the place is well located and quiet.

Definitely not the best hotel I've stayed in! But not the worst either, yes the rooms are pretty small but the decor around the rest of the hotel is second to none, yes the pool is very small and the sauna is more lukewarm rather than hot, but the staff are lovely, well-mannered & polite. I won't be staying here again unfortunately although the scenery and area is beautiful, I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you are looking for a quick one night stay.

Great location, within a 10 min walk of three tube stations. Rooms a bit tired. Breakfast was ok. Advertised as a four star hotel which makes you think of luxury, however, the hotel is a bit tired and dated, its more on par with a two or three star, somewhere to sleep and wash but not enjoy.

A perfect deal. Simple rooms with the necessary and 10 pool the best after a day of walking.

Enjoyable stay. Clean and spacious room. Having a heated pool and sauna during winter was a blast! Can improve by having thicker towels and pillows and a better spread for breakfast. Coming back again.

Hotel in Hyde Park — Paddington, very close to the park, in many hotels area. Quiet and well-located neighborhood for visits, with several nearby Metro stops such as Bayswater, Queensway, Lancaster Gate. At reception they speak Spanish, in fact they are Spanish and it is very used by Spaniards. The price includes a good breakfast. Rooms maybe a fair bit of space.

Of course it is not the youngest Hotel. You can see it by the Pool. But for a typical English hotel it is super cozy, has a first-class team of hotels, which eliminates all worries and problems, so that at the end nothing stands in the way for a super holiday. The pool does not stop from Bathing. The rooms are a little small but they all have a feel-good character, which sometimes also includes the really comfortable box spring BEDS. The varied breakfast is also sweetened every day. All in all it is a very nice hotel which I would visit AZF any case again.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. Our room was clean, but very cramped. Breakfast was standard hotel fare, and the pool is nice and warm. The interior desperately needs a remodel, as it is very shabby, but if you're going to be out all day and sleeping in the hotel I would recommend it (but maybe look elsewhere if there are better options for the price). It looks very nice from the outside but gets worse and worse as you go further in. The staff were all very nice and helpful during our stay.

The Hotel was a little bit old. The receptionists are Spanish very attentive and pleasant, especially KRISTINA.

Wonderful hotel with Very friendly reception and Confortable rooms. Swiming pool is the perfect solution when you come back from a trip in london center.

Room was slightly small but the variety available for breakfast offered is great. Pool and sauna also really good (especially the pool). Pretty central, and a good price for what you get.

Room was clean and tidy, but could do with a little refreshing. Breakfast was good. Hotel is situated within a short 10 minutes walk to a tube station.

Old hotel without air-conditione rooms or non functional air conditioning. Clean rooms and helpful staff but do not select the smallest rooms if your two because thy are really small and it is not a standard double bed. Otherwise you get what you pay for. A plus is the pool :) if you like that kind of thing.

I was here in summer and there is air conditioning! When I asked the staff, they said that the hotel is in the process of removing them… Room was small and dainty no mini bar and a tiny 30" tv. Nevermind the the lack of amenities but no air conditioning was the deal breaker… NEVER COME HERE.

Very nice hotel for staff. Room rather small but sufficient. On the other hand badly insonnorisé, no bar as specified, we had to ask for them to open it. 3 people completely naked in the pool and sauna which is quite annoying (20 and over 50 years) knowing that there are children in the hotel this should be monitored! Nothing to eat except breakfast. Enough ahead for a 4 star.

Great location for getting around London, very friendly and helpful staff. A truly pleasant stay, breakfasts worthy of a 4 star respect. I highly recommend it.

The hotel was very nice.

Nice little Hotel right on Hyde Park. The location is great and the public transport everywhere. The room was tiny but very clean and the Breakfast buffet also perfect. There is even a small swimming Pool, but I didn't tested.

Small bathroom. You can hear the floor creaking continuously even at night when they pass the neighbors to the room. Our TV was in an absurd location. I put two starlets just because the breakfast was decent.

A good Hotel for a longer city trip to London, we were now already twice there for a week. The staff is very nice and helpful, the location is great (2 different Metro within walking distance, and Hyde Park in a couple of minutes ' walk away). Contrary to the London Standard, very good Breakfast buffet (continental + English) in a beautiful Breakfast room. The rooms are for London standards, normal, small, but clean and perfectly fine. The audience is mixed, this makes the stay a pleasant one.

The hotel rooms are very old and so is the interior. The room is also very very small, I havent Seen this before in any other hotel double room. The sanitary rooms are also very bad/old equipped. The breakfast they offer isnt fresh.

Small roms, there are not plugs next to the bed, bathrom in 1m2, noisy floors… but very well located and not expensive. All stuff speaks spanish and english and they are very kind and resolutives, the best from the hotel.

It is a hotel built long ago and does not enjoy the advantages of modern constructions. But the daily maintenance is excellent. It is perfectly clean. The staff is attentive, helpful, and very friendly and also speak in Spanish, which helps us stay to who do not speak English.

Good base for siteseeing. Not a fancy hotel but very clean and perfect if you're visiting London.

The workers are all of one pass of people.

TV didn't work. First they blamed the local transmitter (Crystal Palace) then blamed the internal amplifier. The room safe was broken. There was an "old man" smelll in the corridor, you had to hold you nose as you walked through. The decor is very tired. On the plus side, the breakfast was pretty good.

The truth very good and MTRs from the hyde park staff and all speak Spanish.

Would not be my first choice, but probably good for Spanish tourists. The company who owned the hotel seemed to have all the signs in English & Spanish. The hotel was in a very old lovely building but it felt like a bit of a maze to find the room. The rooms were also quite small and again a bathroom door that can barley close when you are in it. The breakfast was underground and was very dull. We didn't each much when I stayed with a colleague. We went to check out the swimming facilities and it was a very small pool which didn't look that clean so we decided not to use it. It was about a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest tube station.

Although the photos look good, the rooms are dated, carpet in reception area was in bad condition. Rooms are small, like really small and we paid for a larger room. Went to the bar before going out which was poorly stocked. Bresfast was ok but not a 4 star, we could have staying in a Premier Inn close to Blackfriars for a similar price and wish we did.

One of the hotels standing on the Leinster Gardens street. It is assigned as one of the tourist collection points by the Primium Tours, London.

Bad service, staff that barely spoke English, did not receive wine and chocolates in our room as were paid extra for. Took 2 different trips to the reception to finally be able to enjoy our wine. Never did receive any chocolates. Looked at us like we were stupid when we informed them our ac unit was broken. They did not fix it properly so was still of no use and ended up having to open the balcony door to let in some cool air. Very noisy from the street. Not a great neighbourhood.

The room was small not a 4star but a decent 2star hotel.

My room was very clean and I'd recommend this place for the price I paid (60£ including tax), but I can see why this place gets so many bad reviews. This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel — its a *nice* 2 star hotel. The management is either naive or purposely misleads people, but its their own undoing. If they listed this as a 2 star hotel theyd get mostly great reviews. Instead, by advertising it as 4 stars people expect it to be equivalent to a Hilton or Marriot — hence the horrendous reviews. The owner is obviously clueless about "expectation management". To put this in American terms — a Motel 6, Econolodge, or Best Value Inn with a pool and a bar is still a 2 star budget hotel… just with a pool and a bar. Thats what this is and in my case the rate I paid reflected that (relative to pricey London) so im very satisfied. In truth my room was very clean, though the carpet was worn and had a light stain. The bathroom was nice and decked out in granite, but a floor tile was loose such that it popped up when you stepped on it. Four star hotels spend the 5£ to fix that kindof stuff — immediately. Four star hotels also dont have signs next to the toiletries saying "soap and shampoo is free of charge for guests" — in what hotel and in what country would it not be? LOL. You'd never see a sign like that in a nice hotel… people know the soap is there for them to use it. The lobby and hallway carpeting is in bad shape — but who cares for 60£ in London.

I've never stayed at the hotel because "we have no availability for Wonderbox. " The hotel did not have a room available for 6 months straight, impossible! I think the venues participating in the Wonderbox or similar have to allow the stay if there is availability and not accept reservations only when it suits them. If he agrees, that do not join! On the other hand Wonderbox should carry out more checks on the structures in order to ensure a service at least acceptable and avoid such unpleasantness. Definitely disappointed both by this than by Wonderbox.

There is little to recommend about this hotel other than its location — nearly adjacent to the western (Kensington Palace) end of Hyde Park, close to the Queensway and Bayswater tube stations, surrounded by a quiet neighborhood featuring great restaurants and stores selling convenience items. The rooms and bathrooms are claustrophobic and confining, even by London standards. It was impossible to gather me, my wife, and our daughter in the room to talk about plans for our days in London. The gathering place by default becomes the hotel lobby — characterized by worn carpet coming apart at the seams, having 'rolls' across the floor. The sofas are dirty and worn out — on one, you literally sink to the floor when you sit down. The carpeting on the stairs is stained and threadbare. The 'complimentary breakfast' (more on that later) is poor food, even for London. The eggs taste like they are made from a powder, the bacon is fatty and burned, there are components that most Americans do not eat for breakfast — potatoes, beans, etc. There are no cereals, and the coffee machine that was to provide 'American-type' coffee was not working. The breakfast does supply fruits and bread. The rooms are NOT private. Be prepared to hear the conversations, television and other activities from the room next door — and for them to be able to hear all of yours! The floors are so noisy that you hear the creaking from anyone walking anywhere on your hallway.

This property accepts the Wonderbox customers only on certain dates. Hotel to boycott.

Amazing hotel and staff :).

Despite having liquidated the reserve of a triple, with at least one month in advance, when you arrive had complete hotel and I had to put on one with 4 beds, subtracting me place for my comfort. Girls rooms 14 '' LCD TV. You rent the pool to third parties for courses of swimming, so you may be asked to come out of it (which I did). Breakfast served cold meat bulge when complained me the response of the kitchen was the show me due dates (obviously he was in date), juice machines were out of service and not even had dosmananas water in the jars. One morning I found in an armchair of reception yogurt and another an empty bottle, at least it took 1 hour to withdraw them. Welcome everyone speaks Spanish by making it easy for this language and they are very polite, this well is notable. I think this hotel you could remove at least one star category and let him 2 or 3.

Paid for a double room, we were given a room 1 meter by 2 with a Queen size bed slept very badly for the rest ok belch.

We've been six nights at this hotel. All very friendly, perfect service. Correct and abundant breakfast. Clean. In general very good. Except for the rooms, most super dwarf, midget bathroom small, had that leaving things on the ground, without shelves. A little overwhelming. The location of the hotel, good, you have Quensway on one side and Paddington to the other.

Good hotel, to spend a few days, value for money though a bit negative.

This is the first time I write a review but this hotel is a real disappointment. People who work in this hotel are totally obtuse and they don't understand and listen to your needs. Please, don't book this hotel.

Located in a good area, within walking distance of Hyde Park and well connected by several bus and metro. The staff speaks Spanish. Attentive and available to assist you and inform you about the city, reception transportation etc. Room girl (London is! ) but clean, good mattress and with everything you need including the electric kettle with different teas and coffees that replenished every day. The small bathroom with tub and good hot water. Correct and full breakfast with plenty of sweets, there are also scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese, olive oil, grated tomato. Wi-Fi, heated pool and sauna, free.

"Skroil" and for £ 60. Daily average-sized bed room fucked over the underground mine, so falling asleep in 1.0000 and woke up at 5.0000 plus in the evening before leaving poisoned fish for dinner. Own hotel any Arabs, more similar to the Gypsies. When I was "fought" over 4 (! ) stars, and "vyborolis′", although they and 3-x is a bit much.

Except for the extremely small rooms, it was good.
