We had the most amazing afternoon tea in the Park Room. The service was outstanding, Altay our waiter was very attentive and really looked after us making the experience extra special. The food and drink was delicious. I would highly recommend the afternoon tea in the park room and look forwards to re visiting thank you.

We are using JW Marriott again for business, excellent service and staff to care for our VIP clients.

The cleanliness, superb attention from the staff as well as the perfect location.

It needs to upgrade many things £600 a night they need to update specially there rooms and customer service. Stayed there for 6 days will never go there again. Outside bar was nice and there service too. Specially they need to get solid doors so noice is reduced from other rooms. After three continuous day of toilet not working properly they changed the room. Which outrageous.

A warning to musicians! This picture is the result of using the stage at the Several of the band members almost went over using the steps either side of the stage, but I was the unlucky one. The staff were not only incredibly unhelpful, they were downright nasty. No apology, no first aid, no assistance & no assurance that they were going to remedy the situation. I had a suspected broken ankle and they refused to allow me to take the short route through the hotel to leave, making me hobble in agony all the way through the hotel and round the building. Details of more warnings to musicians to follow regarding the Marriot’s policy on musicians being able to leave with their own instruments after a gig (the security manhandled and threatened some of our band members when we tried to leave with our guitars, saxophones etc. Now looking at my options for compensation.

Amazing hotel and our beautiful park view suite overlooks Hyde Park. Everyone is so polite and helpful, exactly how hospitality should be done! An extremely pleasant and inspiring stay.

What a beautiful hotel, fantastic location. I am staying at the hotel at the moment and looking forward to enjoy a dinner at the JW Grill. The associates working here are very nice, when I checked in yesterday check in was very smooth. From the great concierge who greeted me to the room service lady who was a delight, bringing our fantastic room service. A friend had come to meet me who due to Covid we had both had to leave Asia so this was a fantastic opportunity to catch up. The room was comfortable to enjoy a meal for 2 listen to music from the TV and enjoy great dood and company.

It was excellent, excellent, the ambiance, the scenery, everything was beautiful and wow. The staff were excellent, excellent customer service. We came late due to travelling distance and they welcomed us with love, smiling and managed to get our table Ready. They gave us enough time to powder our nose, no rushing us. When it came to the delivery of our afternoon tea, everything was explained and staff were happy to serve us. They made sure we enjoyed every second and moments we were there and our mum who was celebrating her retirement enjoyed it so much, she wants her 70th birthday there. The transport link is excellent both by foot and taxi to Marble Arch, Bond Street etc. Thank you all for making our day, it was really quality time and beautiful.

We waited 2 years to finally experience afternoon tea in the Park Room. It was definitely worth the wait. Exceptional service from Szandra and the team, first class cuisine and despite covid-19 with less people it was a beautiful ambience. We shall be back…

Great service and the food was lovely, the atmosphere was quiet as I think people are still trying to find confidence in coming to dine, but I could not fault the service, as we were celebrating my birthday the staff went the extra mile and gave us champagne on arrival and a lovely cheesecake for dessert x the team really went the extra mile as hubbie didnt feel well and the staff really were very kind — thank you — avec Antony Collett.

I feel that we did not get what we ordered. The staff were friendly enough, but our “Deluxe room” wasn’t what we expected. A smaller bed than we thought we had ordered, the room was small, there was no bath, but a walk in shower that left the whole floor very wet. The cheap pole the shower head was attached to was broken, so the shower was 3 feet off the ground! One of the phones didn’t work and you had to “shoulder” in the door to get it to open. Also the Wi-Fi did work, so after complaining to the front desk (on the remaining, working phone) I was referred to a call centre! How is it my responsibility to fix their IT issues?!?! I stayed there 10 years ago and it felt like the 5 star experience your would expect from a hotel of this caliber. You can park as many Rolls-Royce’s as you like out front, but I would concentrate on the basics if I were you…

We stayed here for a day prior to a cruise. The staff needs to be mentioned first. Every single person we came across here was superb. Very polite, incredibly helpful. Some of the best staff I have come across. The location of the hotel is also superb. Right in the middle of London. Very close to many sights, most within walking distance. The one negative would be the cleanliness of the guest room. The bathroom in particular was not as clean as it could be. Had we been staying longer than one night, I probably would have requested a different room. All said, I would still recommend this hotel.

I’m disappointed. This is my 3rd time staying here this summer. My first time was excellent. My last two stays have brought me to the conclusion that a certain class of guest is valued above others. … Why I draw this conclusion: 1. Front desk staff are nonchalant and greetings are inconsistent
2. Four out of six times the doormen (doing nothing else previously) didn’t bother to open the door for me
3. If something can’t be provided (cold bottles of water, prepayment for next stay, etc. ), no apology is offered
4. My room appeared not to have been completely decorated in comparison to rooms I’d stayed in previously at the property. It was dusty and there were plumbing issues.
4. Even on arrival, my taxi door wasn’t opened. While other expensive vehicles arrived and staff were practically tripping over themselves to open these doors.
Your hotel is resting lazily on the historical reputation of days gone. Do the right thing by guests and ensure your staff are continuously trained, monitored and reminded of their job. I would not be this critical but for this hotel’s price point. For the hotel rates, the service and product should be impeccable.

Attended the TES awards here. Beautiful rooms and fast service when food was served and cleared away. The food was delicious and presented elegantly. When going to get water from the bar, staff asked for my order and when I replied that I wanted tap water, they turned and served other people without giving me a drink. It took the support of several other people to help me get a glass of water. Being a teacher, I am not overly wealthy and chose a healthy, low cost option.

Very bad hotel! Asked to bring supplies to brush his teeth — waited 40 minutes. The next day I tried to iron my shirt, but the iron didn't work. I had to wait for a new iron for about an hour.

Beautiful property with elegant decor and exceptional service! One of my favorite properties ever. The executive Lounge was a great perk and appreciated the upgrade as we celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary. Location was very convenient to the tube and not too far from major attractions. Highly recommend staying here, and will try to stay again in the future.

The hotel is quite old but well maintained. Situated on a very nice place opposite Hyde Park with convenient access to the subway. The rooms are quite large for London. The bathroom is a little strange (especially the shower), but this is because of the old building. There are also executive lounge, I visited it. It's nothing special, no hard alcohol, for example. The service was excellent. Although it is primarily a business hotel is good and for leisure visits.

Attended a testimonial dinner at the Grosvenor and encountered the rarest of things: edible banquet food, truly surprised and impressed. Overall a stunning venue with attentive staff and top quality service. You'll also have paparazzi hanging around outside for that true A-list experience (though don't get too close, personal hygiene isn't their strong point).

So yes nice place but the staff not at all at the level of the stars I lost a glove in one of their room cloakroom it my replied that they did not have the opportunity to show me around the room but that I could do a check of the common part here and the Evening where I asked them there was at least 3 receptionist including a duty 2 concierge and 4 person security so I'm really disappointed this evening in addition that an action could have changed everything I would have found my gloves but not all these people had No time to help me in a hotel or there was nobody the evening in question here.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Grosvenor House in London this past week. This hotel is beautiful and located in the heart of London and all it has to offer. The customer service was exceptional and the rooms are very nice. I have absolutely no complaints about this hotel at all. I would recommend, or stay there again in a heartbeat. The location puts you in walking distance from most major historical attractions, shopping, and dining!

Exceptional staff: freshly prepared delicious food which was presented creatively. The cheese cake was the best I've tasted, a real treat. Whilst clearly being a luxurious venue, their was no feeling of 'them and us'; staff went out of their way to create an welcoming, inclusive environment — nothing was too much trouble. A special treat worth repeating, if you are able to.

For 3 occasions, the doormen just stood there chatting and watched us open the doors ourselves. Tried several times to call the concierge and no one picked up. Old rooms with no view what so ever. The tea room service is slow. Manager and some service staffs were not accommodating, my friend and I did not feel welcomed and did not feel appreciated as a customers. The experience was not worth the price we paid to stay at this hotel at all. Definitely will not return.

Had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The front desk staff were warm and welcoming. The room is "european sized" but with a very modern decor and worth every penny. I also had the pleasure of inviting some friends over for afternoon tea in the Park Room and it was a wonderfully British experience. Will hope to be back soon!

It certainly exuded luxury, but I guess for the price I was expecting a little bit more. There was no clock in the room, and the tub did not drain properly when I was taking a shower so I ended up standing in ankle deep water. The bedroom was so small that there was no place for me to open my suitcase, other than on the bed. I had the opportunity to visit the concierge with a friend, and found it to be quite well stocked, with a delicious breakfast. All of the staff were very friendly, and more than accommodating. The fresh flowers in the lobby were absolutely spectacular. I think you're paying more for the image of luxury, then the reality.

Fantastic luxury hotel on great location on Park Lane, the rooms are new and contemporary designed. The JW Steakhouse is absolutely great and don’t forget the hotels famous cheesecake. Spend the afternoon with afternoon tea overlooking the park. Great choice to stay in London.

Just returned from a Saturday night stay at the GHH Park Lane. We had two rooms booked with check in at 3pm. We arrived early and just wanted to drop off our bags to free us up for a bit of sightseeing. One of our rooms was available so we dropped our bags off and headed out, it was my partner’s 50th birthday and this was mentioned in passing at reception. When we returned later there was a bottle of wine, snacks and a delicious cheesecake awaiting us. Plus the second room felt like an upgrade. Many thanks to the staff for making our special weekend even more special.

Friendly staff and well equipped rooms. The lobby and exterior surroundings are obviously wonderful. Location is perfectly situated in the heart of London. Some parts of the hotel felt a tad dated and not in a nostalgic way.

What a simply beautiful hotel. The staff are above and beyond. The room was more than comfortable, with robes and water available in the room. My only wish for this hotel would be this: an outlet in the bathroom so I can do my hair! The only outlets in the room are next to the desk and there isn't a mirror there. It was very difficult to get myself ready in the morning. There are shaver power outlets in the bathroom for men, but none for a woman … sadness!

Very nice hotel for a weekend in London…
A nice hotel well located, for a weekend shopping and a visit to London. A short walk from Hyde Park, not far from Buckingham Palace, it is a very well-located property also for shopping in the Oxford Street area. In double superior Room — queen size bed. Good bedding, very clean and neat service. Not necessarily the cheapest but a very acceptable value for this hotel category in the capital.

Went here for afternoon tea for my husband's birthday. Wonderful service and good food. Also gave us a slice of cake each to take away! Would definitely recommend the hot chocolate — delish. Had a lovely time (we had already eaten a lot of it before the pics was taken. ) You can also ask for me scones, hot drinks, and sandwiches if you want them.

Great hotel, located I'm central London, right on Park Lane! Rooms were spacious and clean! Lobby can be crowded at times. But the Hotel went above and beyond to find my grandmother more comfortable bedding! Would highly recommend this hotel!

Attended an evening conference event. "National Apprenticeship Awards' in January 2018. Great venue. Lovely food. Very attentive staff on hand at all times. The organisers scored lucky with this venue choice.

Personally I think the restaurant is an overrated property at high prices and without much interest. Moreover the current clientele is without discomfort and very noisy with kids who run and scream…

We vacationed in London because of our love for this hotel! We stayed here Christmas of 2016, and returned this past Christmas such was our experience! It really makes the vacation. Everyone is so polite and accommodating. The only slight negatives are that the coffee machines in the lounge did not make good coffee, and the hotel no longer carries Fox News Channel, our favorite. But we wish we could return every year since this hotel is simply spectacular.

Apparently, 5 for the location. In general, the impression is strange: the plumbing is ancient, the furniture too, the air conditioning in the room is very noisy (it is impossible to turn off, because it is the heating), in the bathroom is unrealistically cold floor, the staff is not particularly friendly, the service is so-so …

Exceptional hotel. Exceptional executive lounge. Wonderful staff. The hotel staff at the hotel are wonderful and welcoming. They really do try to go above an beyond. The bathrooms in the rooms are great; I loved the towel warmers. The hotel rooms are clean and up to date. Take advantage of the wonderful location.

Super 5 star park lane hotel. Inside the lobby is an amazing steakhouse and a separate room serving afternoon teas. Top tip for here: CHEESECAKE Try the cheesecake, you will LOVE it, it’s the best thing! Available to Buy to takeaway from the park lane market/Starbucks which is also within the main lobby.

The best hotel cost/benefit and with the best location in London.

This hotel is located within walking distance of Hyde Park, Buckingham Palace and all sorts of need to see London locations. The Grosvenor House has beautiful architecture and the renovations meld nicely into the original. The staff are lovely and the hot chocolate and shortbread cookies were a nice touch on top the standard coffee and tea selections. The restaurant is tasty, too.

Amazing experience, thanks to Donal assistant manager in the steakhouse restaurant and the waitress who looked after us so professionally and friendly. The staff in the red bar are friendly helpful and courteous. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

The hotel is really big and prestigious. I came for a professional seminar and the establishment is really suitable for large group reception (400 people) the service is of quality and food very adapted to French habits. My room was very spacious with a living room and a king size double bed. I'm just not a fan of the decorative style which is too old for my liking.

I came here for Afternoon Tea with my friends as it is a relaxed venue, a bit posh, but not overcrowded generally. I had fallen pregnant at the time so I couldn't join my friends on the free-flowing £49 per person deal but I was still charged the full amount. I know we booked the Tea for four people but they could have been a bit sensitive and charge slightly less for one of the afternoon teas as I only had a tea and a glass of water to drink. The final bill was Four Free Flowing champagne £49 per person. It was nice enough food but a tiny detail would have made a difference. I wouldn't go back.

Nice rooms with great shower, but you'll have to dress wealthy if you want good service. Staff can be quite rude and very superficial. The £35 ribeye from the indoor steak restaurant tasted bland and was very chewy. First question I got when it was served, was to cut my steak so they could check if it was cooked the way I wanted. I asked for a medium and the chef should know how to prepare a medium cut! It felt amateurish. Would not stay here again.

Luxury place. Great deal. Great rooms. I give it a 4 because we put a natural strawberry juice Q We do not take. The container was a closed bottle and that fermented. The fourth day exploded like a firecracker and put it all lost. There are Q collect the food in poor condition of the rooms.

The hotel itself is really nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's very clean and quiet. My only complaint is that the room I shared with one other person was pretty small. However, we had friends staying in other rooms and they were bigger. I think it was just luck of the draw.

Hotel is large and style is elegant classic London. Some renovation going on while we were there and you can see that it's needed in some areas. Staff was lovely and so helpful. Breakfast was great. Rooms are quite small but nice, with good bathrooms.

Attended an awards night. Great venue and well laid out with good facilities. Service of staff was great and food was reasonable. Only minus I can think of would be too many tables and been packed into the space making it difficult to move around.

It is a hotel located in front of the park although the entrance is down the back very close to the. U. S. Embassy and good restaurant fences. The rooms are OK but it depends which room you touch some good size others very small and even uncomfortable. The other is a hotel of many Arabs.

Amazing hotel although we waited 15 minutes for check in and 20 minutes to check out. We were there to attend a charity ball and it was amazing to say the least. Staff were helpful and my room was lovely. Breakfast was also great quality. The only thing that let it down was the wait ar reception.

We ate dinner in the steak house. It is absolutely superb. The lump crab was new to me but delicious. I had good oysters followed by a British rib eye steak. The American beef looked super too but at steep prices. V good wine list and pleasant service. The hotel was full of undiscerning Arab kids and was a bit like a souk with such a large commercial foyer but I rather liked that atmosphere.

Perfect location at the Park Lane, right across from Hyde Park and only walking distance 10mins to Green Park which then leads to the Palace and other places around it. The executive lounge is nice for the deco but it allows children and at times it feels like there's a party going on when loads of kids are running around in the lounge. The room is so so, max four star quality. Nonetheless, for the price paid, it's acceptable. Would prefer the Barkeley's or the Ritz or even a boutique like St James.

Beautiful building. Service was top notch and staff were very attentive. Location is one of the most expensive area in London. Probably why parking was £24 per hour!

My stay at Grosvenor House has been a satisfactory experience thus far. The staff has been pleasant and quick to address any questions or needs. The room is spacious and well kept. The location is nice. It is next to Hyde Park so a visit there is a quick walk. Also, tube access is very close as well, so getting to places throughout the city is fairly easy.

Afternoon tea at the Marriott was a great experience. It's a kid friendly tea so that was a definite plus for us. They go out of their way to make the kids happy.

Unbelievable array of bourbon at the bar! However, I treated myself to a couple of red wines at ~£12 a glass and wasn't disappointed. Popcorn with seasoning was thrown in on the side. Steak was also beautiful!

Great hotel and staff. I was there for a wedding and reception in the Grand Ballroom, and both were really well decorated and managed. I also stayed overnight. The rooms were smaller than I expected, but it makes sense considering real estate and etc. Staff was really helpful and courteous. Bathrooms were great. Overall it was a great time and great place.

This place is in a good location. However, apart from the restaurant and the location it leaves a bit to be desired. Our room was pleasant but quite small. Also, someone had clearly been sick in the corridor, and while it had been cleaned up the smell was very strong even a day later.

Had a great stay. Lobby staff who greeted us were extremely pleasant and efficient at getting us checked in and settled. We had breakfast each day which was buffet style and the food was good. Nothing outstanding but did the job Rooms were clean, well stocked and quite so what more would you want.

Bit far from the tube (Bond St) but very friendly staff. The conference rooms are normally booked out on the weekends for wedding functions. It's a great vast hotel with excellent staff.

The hotel overall had beautiful design. The rooms were amazing with superb beds, which really made me want to sleep all day. The breakfast buffet was delicious. However, the reason why I did not give this 5 stars is because you had to pay for Wi-Fi in your room, which was quite a disappointment. The only Wi-Fi available was in the lobby, which was not that large. Other than that, everything was great. I would recommend this hotel to non-internet addicts.

Amazing hotel, rife with history. I stayed for FREE one night with my Marriott's Rewards pts, and was instantly upgraded to a 3 rm. Suite. Front desk staff were very courteous, other staff personnel as well, very friendly to this 'Murrican. Loved the Red Bar, and next morning, had a terrific brunch. I will always remember the fun l had in London/SoHo.

I came here for a dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. The staff are like a military operation! It's not easy to serve 1k+ people a three course dinner and still have everything be piping hot and delicious but they manage it. As an event space it's great and I had a wonderful time.

Not a true 5 star 5 diamond hotel. Out of the variety of 5 star hotels in London this is the least desirable. Hotel shows its age in smell and decor. Room prices are ridiculous and the standard room size is extremely small. I'm usually very satisfied with JW in the states. This was a huge let down from front desk checkin to the actual room. Wish I had done a bvlgari, ritz Carlton, or even a plain Marriott brand instead of this jw grosvenor. Does not meet American 5 star standards.

Their amenities and facilities look great agreeable, the pattern was extraordinarily astonishing. The service was first-rate as well. Really, I've had cool experiences here at Marriot hotel. It's certainly in the costly series, but on the other hand the cuisine quality more than makes up for it. Their food, each was exceptional, but the one I be keen on the most are the room that I checked in. The ambiance is just not ordinarily but utterly ideal. Very roomy within and the outside places area are beautiful. There's also a bar area inside and larger seating areas for big groups.
