Basic but incredibly cheap. Staff are excellent. Quirky would be the polite way of putting it. Bed was fine, room quite small, but it had a fridge and a safe. Breakfast was… err … included but "quirky". Sliced bread, cornflakes, hard boiled eggs, processed cheese slices, fruit salad, tea, coffee and orange juice, that's it! A toaster was also available. It's a bed I wasn't in the room for more than about an hour unless I was asleep. Why pay more. Very convenient for central London.

A pleasant stay at this hotel. It is situated in a perfect location, the staff are really accommodating and friendly. I'm pregnant and they offered me one of their new rooms downstairs which was really kind. The room size was perfect for me and perfect for any London tourist. The shower was powerful and very warm. The breakfast was nice. I would stay here again. The only criticism I would have is that the room smelt strongly of paint but that is to be expected with a newly renovated room. Might need a little ventilation.

Window couldn't close as the strings holding it up wouldn't stop, so all Night the pidgeons kept mating or whatever. Bed was just two beds put together and there were no occupied cards so maids would just walk into the room.

The whole experience of my stay was appalling they put me in the basement next to the breakfast room. Early in the morning I can hear everybody, the light coming through the windows n door cs the curtains was short n the door had a big gap at the bottom. The bathroom sink also blocked, On line they said 2 single beds will be enough for 2 adult n baby Whenev I got there the beds were x small and the mattresses were honestly the worst mattresses I have seen in my life Is this how you maintain customer service, I will most definitely not be recommending my friends and family, how is it that you will compensate for my distress and inconvenience both me my wife and child Are tormented after this nights stay.

Checked in today at 1.30 left by 1.45. This has got to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Put in the basement bins full of rubbish outside the windows. Hardly any room to move in the room. Everything in the room just looked old and dirty headboard had rips and stains on it. Mattress should of been on the bin. Wouldn't of let my dog sleep in there. The staff didn't careless told them we were leaving because it was disgusting and the woman just shrugged her shoulders. Pay a bit extra and stay somewhere decent. This hotel should be took of the booking site.

The price is so low because even though it is well refurbished without carpets and a clean bathroom, you find cockroaches, an unnecessarily small sink, a very soft bed and a small room where you can't find a place to leave your suitcases. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also to say that it is well located. If I didn't find anything at that price I would go back to the hotel.

Shocking. No electric. No heating. No hot water. Refused to give my money back. Travelling with my wife and 2 year old son. disgusted.

Alright it is not expensive but Wi-Fi is not free, and service of breakfast is not good.

It is cheap and the area where it is is good. The bathroom is very small, the breakfast is very scarce and the area for it is a very small room so you have to go out on a terrace (with heaters) for breakfast.

Absolutely awful! My boyfriend paid £75 pound for a night and we froze! No heating on in room in the middle of December! Slept in clothes and costs it was that cold, yet landing and reception was beautiful warm. Kettle barely heated the water up too. Room was quite grotty as well. One star was generous.

Awful service, really bad communication between customer and staff. Rooms are okay for ONE really really small person. Thanks for nothing. Staircase are only for "unorexic" people. Staff seemed as they don't like to work.

Nice staff very small room poorly insulated, bathroom tiny and not very poorly finished. The proximity of the subway saves the whole.

Very small rooms. Weak breakfasts. Breakfast area is very very small, especially in cold weathers you may wait for breakfast. Besides, staff are neither polite nor rude but helpful. You get what you pay. ;)

Good customer service but the rooms are too small, there is no lift and when they advert a room in the 1st floor it is actually the 3rd floor.

Shocking hotel, the room isn't too bad, but the bathroom is very small. Customer service was awful, and the breakfast was appalling. When they said it finished at nine, we didn't think they meant that they would pack up everything and take away all of the food (which was also awful, there is no choice of food, it's just toast, one choice of cereal and some cheese and ham). There are 25 rooms and there are only 5 tables. We ended up waiting until 8:50 for food, and even then we only got a piece of toast before they took it all away. And they charge you £5 per plate for wasted food, and about £2.50 an hour, for the Wi-Fi. We will not be coming here again.

Ok price for a cheap room in London, rude staff, dirty rooms, and no noise isolation between noise and the outside.

Not too bad. Average but satisfactory stay. Don't expect too much at breakfast unless you like hard boiled eggs. Free Wi-Fi should be included at the price I paid.

Great location to visit the city. Breakfast not too varied. Small rooms.

If hotels excite you, this probably isn't for you — not a 'destination' hotel, but great for a cheap and cheerful one night stay to rest your head. Literally the only things that bothered me were the lack of signs to room numbers, shower was difficult to set appropriate temperature, the 3G/4G was poor in my room (other reviews differ), and breakfast wasn't served until 7:30am (no good for early starts) — nothing major. If you have mobility issues or are staying more than ~ 2 nights, maybe not for you; however, if I was looking for a cheap room to stay in London, I would stay here again.

Underground Chamber, with no window and poorly ventilated. 60 years old, bathroom shower curtain and sink small and unusable. The staff spoke English only (particular difficulties in getting to understand). Awful breakfast: the buffet was poor. For a 3 star hotel is over the top.

Stayed there Tuesday night for a concert at the O2. The hotel is very clean and tidy, friendly staff and good value for money. The room was a bit small for anything longer than a day or two. Great transport links as it's very close to Paddington station.

Basically 0 Stars. Room was not heated, windows not tight, water in the shower cold (or really hot), receptionist was talking very bad english, and LOTS of other small nuisances…

Cramped, run down, over-priced. If you have no other option buy a tent and sleep in Hyde park.

Really small rooms, extremely loud when there were people next door it was like they were in the room with you. Staff weighs it up being really nice and sweet.

Perfect citytrip hotel. Room 8 was small but quiet with comfortable beds and pillows. Bathroom was small with a great shower. I can recommend room 8. Breakfast is ok (cheese, ham egg, marmelade, toast, cornflakes and fruit "a volonté").

This is not a great place and you can find much better rooms for the same price in this same area. The building is dingy, rather dirty, I had no hot water in the shower, but a bunch of rust, etc.

Quality/Price is excelent, love the service, for me it was very good, the Staff is very Kind especially Caroline, if I return to London I will go there.

Hotel modest but very well located about 5 minutes from PAddington Station, bath and bed clean, warm rooms and unbeatable treated by the staff (especially Caroline)
We were caught a few days in London by storm and helped us with everything we need.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a hotel downtown and economic places to sleep, shower and little more
If I return to London in this plan no doubt it. I'll be back.
