Nicely decorated room in this charming boutique hotel. Very attentive staff.

A little gem of a hotel in Marylebone. Location fantastic it's a short walk to Regents Park and Madame Tussauds and as its 3 mins to Baker Street Tube the rest of London is accessible. The hotel itself is a haven of calm with a real sense of design and cricket theme. A lounge with honesty bar and a top notch restaurant and bar in the basement complete the package. Some of the rooms are small, but well laid out and incredibly comfortable. Staff are all fantastic and made the stay. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal place, rooms are beautiful, well spaced and inviting, staff are knowledgeable and attentive. Made the trip just that little bit more special. Thank you.

I visited the Potting Shed for a meeting over breakfast. It was a lovely place to meet and the staff were very friendly.

I've frequented this hotel for work trips and have always been impressed with the high level of excellence everyone on the staff bring to the place. The rooms are very lovely and immaculately kept and the restaurant is fantastic.

Housed in a Regency townhouse and overlooking a leafy private garden, this 38-bedroom hotel almost feels like a club. Designed in a fresh modern English style with its bold colors, contrasting fabrics and vintage pieces, it is an inviting and cosy place. A lively bar and a fireplace give the social space its clubby vibe while the rooms kept the quiet charm of this English townhouse.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed… Best breakfast to go I have ever had… great menu, great service, I couldn't really fault anything and I am a super critical type of guy… Will definitely be staying here again. Fantastic Place.

The overall experience was good, but small details meant it was short of being genuinely excellent. Unfortunately the lift was broken which meant for our three day, two night stay, steep climbs up and down four flights of stairs were required more often than we would have wished for on a relaxing weekend get away and required some effort (especially when arriving with bags and carrying them up ourselves). The room itself was nice, but the absence of in-room tea facilities having returned from a day in town were disappointing and when requesting room service for these took quite some time to arrive. Though Apple friendly stereo and recharging devices are of course not mandatory requirements in a hotel, in a design focused hotel such as this it was odd to not have one. Our room only had the simplest of AM/FM radio. The Wi-Fi worked but on the 4th floor in our room was not sufficient to actually do anything and using our phones 3G/4G directly was much quicker. Most of the staff were very friendly, and in particular 'Andre' in the restaurant provided excellent service during our visits. However other 'managers' seemed to mis-understand the concept of making guests feeling comfortable with what appeared to be critical discussions about guests in the corner of the dining room in view and hearing of other guests. In all, the hotel is a nice place to rest up when staying in London, but falls short of being a magical get away.

No facilities ie no soap to wash hands in bathroom/no hairdryer/phone was not working/no drink facilities. Asked reception for a hot drink and they said their kettle was broken even though they had a bar and restaurant on site. Poor quality furnishings. Noisy neighbours so complained. DO NOT RECOMMEND and would never stay again. If I could I would have left 0 star rating. Worse hotel I have EVER stayed in.

Great bar, there are quieter areas too, but that also means staff won't notice you. Beautiful room with generous balcony and amazing service.

Attended a function here at the library. Drinks and canapés were excellent and the staff were polite and attentive. Spent some time at the bar afterwards, where I had an excellent cocktail. The drinks weren't cheap by any means but you get what you pay for.

Been here for a meal on 2 special occasions. Wonderful place, very attentive staff and everything perfect. Food is lovely and the place is beautiful.

Very good and modern design. Friendly staff. Very clean but… not the best place for the wine and beer lovers. I founded few mistakes in the wine list. Drinks are over priced too. Hotel in the central London. Perfect location.

Com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around… We went to the hotel just to have dinner in the restaurant and it was lovely. We felt really attended to, they made special efforts to provide gluten free to my friend, even though we were there on a special offer menu. The food was delicious — I had a steak which was melt in the mouth. We had three courses after which we were full and happy! It is an oasis of calm in a particularly busy part of London!

Avoid this awful hotel, it's not even worth their low prices. There was no one on the front desk on arrival, tired and dated decor throughout, damp on ceilings in the room, loose taps on basin, flush didn't work properly, no soap or shower gel included, creaky floorboards, doors banging all night. There was a sign for continental breakfast included with our stay in our room but the restaurant/bar was a building site and again no staff present to ask about this.

Visited the bar and it's very cute! It was a nice busy atmosphere on Sat night, but not overcrowded. The drinks were well made, bar staff very friendly.

Walls thin as paper. Doors banging 24/7. Broken window with ice-cold wind blowing into the room. Lamp hanging from its bare cords from the bathroom ceiling. Smell of something meant to cover up for other bad smells.

Our second visit and won't be our last. The staff are so welcoming and friendly but truly professional too. The decor, the bed, the extra touches, the breakfasts, the honesty bar — I love it all. So relaxed after just one night, the perfect tonic.

Bathroom tiny, shower sprayed & soaked the bathroom floor & shower hose dirty with limescale. Builders right by our room window banging & drilling for the 3 days stay I had there. I asked to be moved room which they didnt do. Breakfast was included in the price which we didnt have. The breakfast room was closed & covered in dust sheets. Hole in the ceiling with wires hanging down & to be told theres a cafe up the road that will charge the same as what we paid for breakfast. Even though id already paid for breskfast which we didnt get. The quilt & matress on the bed was covered in stains. This is meant to be a family run businesz with a 24 hour maned desk. There was never anybody at the main desk a bell had to be rang to get attention. The hotel never answers the phone when you call doesnt matter what time of day it is. This hotel was like faulty towers. I would NEVER stay there again or reccomend anybody I know to stay there. Im not happy at all with my experience at this hotel.

Dorset Square Hotel was a wonderful place to stay in London. The location is awesome, Marylebone is an upscale and fun neighborhood to walk around (great restaurants and shopping! ). The room was cozy with very comfortable beds. Lastly service was excellent!

The Potting Shed Bar & Restaurant, a stone's throw from Marylebone Station, does a good chicken roast — worth a try if you're looking for lunch or dinner in the area. One Saturday on my way home, I walked past The Potting Shed Bar & Restaurant in Marylebone near the station and thought it might be worth a visit. So a few weeks later I decided to head there for dinner. The Potting Shed is a little gastropub in the basement of a Marylebone hotel. The place sports a selection of cricket relics, and other than that, the room, or maybe more accurately rooms, is dominated by light green colours and a white ceiling, which made a nice contrast to the dark, wooden floor. Overall, the place looks modern with stylish lamps and a few typical contemporary hipster-style elements. Depending on where you sit, the atmosphere can vary widely — there is a large communal table, two booths, a row of small lounge tables and also a more typical restaurant area. Altogether, an interesting mix, including the patchy, artsy stools around the lounge tables. The background music at The Potting Shed added to the relaxed and casual atmosphere. It was not too load and just right to provide some convenient background noise. I started my dinner with a white wine, a 2013 Picpoul de Pinet from Languedoc which came quickly and was alright. Not the best wine ever, but absolutely fine. It took a while until a friendly breadman came to offer me a little bun.

Fantastic staff and experience lovely room quality breakfast recommend.
