Near to Paddington station. Due to the hot weather, my room was really warm. They didn't provide any fan and due to this we had to open our window widely so the air came into the room.

I didn't like it very much, first they sent me to a very small room, there was no room to leave the bags, we opened the bathroom door half open because it hit a bed, in the bathroom you could not sit in the toilet because you did not enter. It also does not have an elevator so we had to climb the bags ourselves up stairs to the 4th floor. Then we made a claim and were moved to the ground floor, a more spacious and comfortable room.

Good budget hotel. Location is superb. Very clean and good service. But since it is above the tubeline, the floor shakes quite often. Basic breakfast.

Very enjoyable stay, lovely hotel, helpful staff and just 2 min walk from Paddington so very easy to get anywhere.

We stayed at out favourite London hotel again Sunday for 1 night as we were attending concert at Wembley. Ideally situated for there only about 20 mins by tube. This must have been my 7th time staying here & we are booked to stay here again in October twice Lovely friendly staff, spotless bedding & towels.
Usually have a fab breakfast but we wanted to get home early so decided to give breakfast a miss this time. Breakfast rooms relaxing to sit & eat no rush again spotless. Look forward to seeing everyone again in October… unless we need to stay in London again before then.

Typical London hotel, dated property, but kept as well as possible.
It takes on a lovely shady square, with a manicured garden.
Nearby several pubs, restaurants and shops.
Convenient to the Paddington metro and rail stop and a few minutes from Lancaster gate metro. So all of London is within easy reach.
Small room, a single, but very comfortable bed.
Small bathroom, but functional.
All very clean, some small tweaks should be done, but the value for money is really great.
Breakfast ok for what you pay.

No elevator and staircase narrow and steep to ride with a heavy suitcase.
Cleanliness OK if you do not look behind the bed, the inside of the radiator full of sheep and the floor around the furniture. Some hair in the bed also. But otherwise the toilets narrow but clean.
Attention no air conditioning and in the evening it takes rather warm in the room (it is in May) rather quiet with the exception of the noise of hallways: Pity that the neighbors leave their room door slammed. A door braking system should be put in place.
Unfortunate problem of Wi-Fi (no connection possible) for 2 nights and a day on the 3 nights in this hotel.

It is what it is. Cheap but well located. The workers very polite. Clean which is the important thing, and the breakfast is fair but correct.

Tiny room but sleep great, good Wi-Fi, good channel selection on TV and plenty of hot water in the shower. Sink not so much. Quick walk to Paddington train/tube. Paid $92.

Check the shower when arriving, we only had a trickle of water, extremely unpleasant. Nice staff.

Helpful and courteous Staff, perfect location within walking distance of metro and all business activities. The breakfast I did not like at all…

Good compromise between the hotel and the youth hostel. Good location and bus near the door. Nice lively area. Certainly it is not new, the windows have days but we had a good stay. Address to remember. Young and helpful staff. Very satisfied!

The hotel is in need of renovation and smells of cleaning products.
Room maintenance is poor. Dust everywhere and the shower has not been cleaned properly for a long time.
The biggest minus point is the breakfast.
A variety of pressed ham, a variety of sliced cheese, toast slices If you're lucky and fried bacon for £3 extra.
Unfortunately I do not recommend it.

Miniature rooms, cold, very cold batteries 24/7 at the end of March (on the street at night from the strength of 5 degrees of heat), very small bathroom. Dirty and Dusty. The room was clean and the breakfast was good.

Central Padighton a step away from the main streets of the. Shopping. Close I put… near Tesco and restaurants and pubs.

Nice little hotel in a good place near Paddington, where Heathrow Express takes you in 15 min and has great connections to whole London. A bit worn out, rather small rooms, and lots of stairs (no lift). But very friendly staff and good service. We had fridges in the rooms. Some noices at night because of a metro line below.

Water room too small for an average adult (70kg, Six feet), beds too short (six feet), mattress pads are stained with dried blood and yellowish traces, no hot or cold water for the shower at 7am and breakfast is expeditious: barely your glass/plate finished Let the waitress rush to pick it up without waiting for everyone to finish.
You will also find sugar on the second floor on the carpet that was not picked up during our stay (3 nights) Otherwise, the sheets and towels are clean.

The best: Its unbeatable location very close to Hyde Park and connected to the whole city via Paddington Metro to 2 minutes from the hotel. With this metro you can go downtown in about 20 minutes.
The worst: The small size of the room, the floor carpet (on the Internet said it had no longer) and the breakfast that is not for throwing rockets.

Noisy. Every five minutes, it was vibrating. It's not a hotel. It's like a hostel for people who want to party. If you hire this site for sightseeing you will get ripped up, by the noise and bad condition of the mattresses. Tiny rooms. At least I got lucky and caught a room with a bathroom. Not to come with children. This hostel is only for young people who want to march and don't mind being disturbed.

I spent time at hotel 3 nights with my friends and we did not feel comfortable. First night we got horrible Room with not very clear bathroom. Next night we changed Room which was little bit better but for 4 people very small. On breakfast we had 3 time same eggs and old croissants. Rooms on the pictures you will not find in this hotel for sure. If I Can write something positive is only great location. Paddington station is realy near by hotel and also staff were Nice and helpful.

Everytime a pleasure to get there, we came once with our school class and I liked it very very much. But a few weeks ago, they said we could come again to London, but then they took all other pupil from our class and me and my friend couldn't come there. Im very said because of it D:

I've spent 6 months in asia and every budget room was better then the room here. Mouldy, cramped, average staff. I did pay for the cheapest room for a quick stay but still… bad experience.

Not recommended … it stinks in room by canal … angular.

Although it was not the hotel Q we had booked we were moved by it belongs to the same we were well catered for and the room although small there was no complaining, all good for a weekend.

Romantic atmosphere, sympathetic staff and beautiful furnishings: The direct location to Paddington Station is great and Central Park is a good way to get to the centre of Cardiff on foot)

It's a cheap hotel and a very nice place. The breakfast isn't amazing, but the location is very good — 5 mins walk to Paddington st. Which will take you to everywhere.

Great location, quaint, clean, good breakfast and plentiful, small rooms but with everything you can serve, in the room also a fridge and kettle to prepare hot drinks, numerous outlets to recharge cell.

The value for money compared to the area can not help but suggest a more than good rating!

Exceptional location, strategic because Central, public transport: bus-tube-taxi-train station at 500 m from the hotel. We are in the Paddington area is quiet, residential. The hotel is quaint, cheap, clean because every day there is the change of linen, the breakfast is simple and plentiful, the breakfast English.

Best value for price. Excellent location, sufficient breakfast. It was strange though that the heating was turned off after a couple of hours, maybe that's a British thing. Don't know.

Not-so-easy arrival (Ring the bell here, go to another house to the reception and get the key, …) but friendly staff. Yet, the promised tea and coffee making in the room were missing (and never seem to have been there), the bed was comfortable but a bit small for a person of my size. "Continental" breakfast is sparse. All in all a budget stay of good value, just don't expect to be blown away by comfort.

Good rooms, decent breakfast, perfect out of the way but central location.

The location is good. All staffs are good. It might be a little bit noisy from the tubes passing by or from the toilets. Otherwise, it is a high C/P place to stay.

My friend and I had a suitable room. The only thing that wasn't quite right was that it was a little chilly. It was clean and offered everything we needed. We didn't get to The Botanical Gardens which were right across the street and I'm told are a delight. The breakfast room is very nice and the breakfast very enjoyable. The people who run this place are sweet and helpful.

I stayed at Dolphin Inn for 4 days in October. The place is really good, even if is not a 4 star hotel, the room was very clean with a kettle, a little fridge (very usefull since I didn't have the full stay with meals) and tidy towels every day. The only complain I can make is that my room wasat the third floor and in the building there is no lift. I really feel to advice this place to everyone who wanna stay in london for few days; the place is also very close to the tube station and with a little park in front.

Noisy, staff unmoved, breakfast neglected, dirty towels instead of replenishing re-hang towel rack… frustrating if you need to a minimum of attention.

Horrible experience, apart from the location good, all other a mess room small staff, clogged drains (we reported it but it stayed the same), in the morning hot water does not arrive or arrives with little pressure, no breakfast I express myself.
During the night I dropped his pants to the ground in the morning I found them wet, water came from under the floor (exhaust or broken pipe? hopefully tube). 372 room, 4 floor stairs narrow and steep, naturally without elevator. Final judgment — 5

We were given a triple room in underground level of the hotel. The room is very clean, especially the toilets, very clean. The location is very good for Paddington tube station and also bus station to many attractions. Breakfast is very simple and basic. But one thing I really don’t like is that there is heavy noise when a train is passing through the nearby areas, it it really such a big nose and vibration. Don’t know it only happens in underground floor or whole building. But price of this hotel is cheap compared to others in London. Overall, I feel satisfied about my stay with my parents. 

Very quiet location and very well located in London. Close by, thanks to public transport, Piccadilly Circus, Chinatown, Covent Garden, theatres… Staff very friendly and breakfast is OK.

Top location! You may just don't expect too much hotel rooms for a time totally ok with 2 stars. Everything clean, Nice staff.

Clean & Tidy. Fridge in the room.

Shit happens bruder. 7 students stuffed into a room of 6 people, approximately 15 sqm. 10£ for a remote control (when you have a tv). Some doors are not lockable. Stairs looking like built in 1950. No noise cancellation. Building is shaking when an underground is crossing. Only good things are the very good location (zone 1) and the free Wi-Fi. Absolutely no recommendation. Not even worth the 1 star.

Short walk from paddington stn. Bars and eateries. Very basic but cheap.

Too exhausting to climb stairs if your room is in the third floor.

The address is correct for where I stayed, but to check-in it's actually at 32 Norfolk Place, not 44. Twin room booked with share bathroom turned out to be a 4 bed room with own bathroom, so was very happy with what we were given for the price. The room was spacious enough, bathroom was small but clean. Reading past reviews I expected the worst and was pleasantly surprised. It might differ in the shared rooms, but that often depends on the other tenants as much as the hostel itself. People playing loud music into the wee hours above us as an example.

Nice hotel near the bakerloo station. Rooms in the downstairs are not so good.
